Hi everyone and welcome to the Nodio Knod podcast. It's a Nodio podcast hosted by another nerds. I am one of your hosts. Some and I am the other horse Paul who is joined by one half of the best podcast on the Internet Web.

I'm sorry, Sammy. I'm not going to push herself. How are you? I'm okay.

I'm going to be ready because you said nice things to stop it. It's the weekend of Becca. I know and I'm looking over this. I've had Friday night where I've been scared out of my wits.

Thanks, Chris and Donna. We've obviously had our episode yesterday and then today you've allowed me to come on and talk about one of my favourite things. And you also do the trailer reactions with us? I've got a lot of reactions.

I've done five different podcast. The trailer reactions wasn't a podcast. It's like the top grumps thing. It's just a website.

It's a side quest. Side quest. Side quest. Yes.

But yeah, look at Jake and Jealous in the charity. It's all the podcast. It's only because everyone's always nice. It's constantly mean to us.

I'm going to cry and sleep. That's why I love everyone. Anyway. Welcome to Sunday.

It is Sunday. It is where the magic happens apparently. I'm so okay getting told. Yes.

And we have a chat full of nerds as well. Thank you for joining us. You're all excited for more fun time. Sami, do you want to hit that disclaimer?

I should. I should. Everything in our opinions and opinions alone. If you would like to discuss anything from today's episode, I believe come and join us on the Facebook page.

You can join us on the Discord. Or in the comment section where we can have an open discussion. But we want to have this. Anyone coming for us to turn those opinions around?

Because we can all agree to disagree in fandom. So let's give a fun. Give a kind. And keep the toxic behavior out of nerdism.

And we do try. We very much do try. Yes. We've been trying for like four years now.

So yeah, the mission statement is there. It's wrong. It's still there. It's still going.

If you notice as well, there's a space on the page on the screen there because there was meant to be a fourth member tonight. But Jake decided you want to go and play with dinosaurs. So yes, he's still doing the power range. I think he's still there with dinosaurs.

Not so loud. I just asked if he kept him welcome to Jurassic Park. Because I would have. Not like you're obsessed or anything.

Just like saying it. So I've got the taglines for this movie. That is so bright. I'm so sorry.

OK, I gift you nor their love. As a Christmas home edition video, TV advertising tagline. That's a tagline. OK.

16 edges have discovered the power of fight. What? 16 edges have discovered the power to fight the forces of evil. Now the fate of the universe is in their hands.

Oh dear. Yeah, it's worse. The power of teamwork overcomes all. That's the new nerdy of North model.

Maybe this one might be the power is on. On what? Is it the cattle's on? The cougar?

The power's on. Each has power. Each has purpose. And together they will face their greatest adventure.

Oh dear. And my favorite and final one. You lose my favorite one. It's only one I know.

What about guy avenues? I know what I messaged you before. Ask him if you could prepare something for us as well. Did you get it prepared?

As just scrambles now. Totally totally forgot. Well, while I scramble for that, why don't I hear a picture of where we are in 1995? Right.

There's Power Rangers movie hits. Also in the world you have Windows 95 being released. You also have Windows. At all time.

That was advertised by the friends cast. I watched the I watched the advert a day. The Oklahoma City Bomb happened in 1995. I was just kidding.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. E.B.

was launched in 1995. The Internet was just starting. That is your 95 without me going into any one. That's when everyone used the modem where it was the screen.

Yeah. Yeah. It's a lot of good porn in them days as well. Just pixelated.

It's fucking on the books. It's fucking on the books. It's so good. Half the ones on the books.

Without me going into a morbid side of 95. That was your 95. That's where you were. There was some stuff in physics as well that happened to them.

But yeah. So where were you in 95? I was in primary school. I would have been six or seven-ish.

I think. Yeah. More seven I think. And I was obsessed with Power Rangers.

This was me living my best life. It tended to be the end of Power Ranger. But pretty much 93, 94, 95, 96. That was, that was.

Well, yeah. I haven't changed much. I would pick up a more for I would pick up a Power Ranger. There's no excuse.

I would be that person. But yes. This film is a massive part of my childhood. I can remember getting to Christmas.

And I don't remember if I watched it. I've got a bit of a bit of a slog of memory, but I can remember literally sit on the edge of the sofa watching it. I don't know whether this is my second or my third, second or third view of it because I watched it about four times over Christmas day. But I can remember that.

I can remember telling my cousins off for interrupting me because I wanted to say one of the most important lines in the film is where's my holograph book? I wanted to say that line. I know what interrupted me. I can vividly remember it.

So I apologize to my cousins if they're ever watching for me and that person when I was seven because that was me and I should have interrupted you. Yes. I was really disappointed. I haven't actually got it on any streaming service today.

I had to rent it. Why? It's on YouTube. I didn't know that.

Sorry, Chex. First of all, is it on YouTube? It doesn't surprise me because Power Rangers have learned if they put stuff on YouTube, people will watch it and make money. So this is the North.

Come on, Power Rangers. We won the Power Rangers. When I went to watch it, when I went to go and look at the world that was 1995, it was actually in the list, you know how you get a list of things coming up. It was actually there as the mall movie.

One hour, 30 minutes of it. I've got a story to tell about the Power Rangers movie as well. I don't know if I've told this in a previous podcast, but I probably have because it's Tails of Paul as a young and good old Paul. This is going to get interesting.

It's not as interesting as other previous ones. No, not showing rock sauce in someone else's case. No. So like, like when this came out, I was about 13, 13, 14, I think.

Yeah. 13, 14. I was living in riot. And at this time, I was living in riot and anyone who lives in the north of riot, it is a pretty dodgy place.

It's got, especially if you're a kid of the siege, there was a few things you could do on a weekend or a nighttime, entertaining yourself. It was either go meet your mates in the middle of the field and drink some cider or drink some, some brisk or white lightning as it was called as well. One pound a bottle. I think it was for a leader.

Or like, especially in riot, the store round, talk and cause. So my, and again, talking, talking is a word. And again, I still know, I do think I have a good moral compass. I would not go and join the talking of the cars.

I would go at the cinema by myself. So I used to have a TSP bank account where as long as you put five pound in your bank account each month, you were sent four tickets per month to the cinema. No, it is. I was given that as like 12 quid, just go and say a movie.

Yeah. So, so I used to go on a Saturday, I used to say two movies, On a Saturday night to see two movies because he's got four tickets so two or two or depends what was out And when I went the pictures there was only one movie out that week There was it wasn't a big release here. There was power Rangers and it wasn't on the ABC Next to what what's now a big nightclub in Sun and Times Center It was the old side cinema at the Empire or theater I used to have a little offshoot where you swing and the screen was no bigger than probably Put this way a Sami's TV was a bigger screen than that screen at the Empire. Oh, so So I went to see it there and again kills of people feeling sorry for Paul But I just got the pictures by myself.

I used to go big shows because I was looking at the front of the line You know why? Because people's families used to come used to feel sorry for us and kind of adopt us for the day and buy us free ice cream I want to do this by myself. I'm a big boy now. I'm just a kid.

Yes to go He has to exit adopt us for the time come and sit with me talk to the other kids I just get free ice cream free drink use me class It's me a little ploy for the day and trying like me for the family's feels sorry for the work I've got the distable way from this Time back then it was a different time As well because it was a slow movie month the next week when I had me submit against the boy Yes, what was the one again? And the chat they just have a discussion about the word to walk because Phoebe What does talk mean and can I go and talk and wait Rose? Chris is right it's taken without orders consent and it's awful word, but it is a northern one The problem is when you knock about like kids or people in certain areas We used to be people like to go around and I'm part of the right to walk squad or I'm a townie twock squad like if you leave the town center these kind of weed or is that still kick out in sub Shiny Raw is shiny raw agro boys So you'll see the word scrub written across shiny it means shiny raw agro boys We speak in slang and Kelly will appear in the I am here I am I have found it by the way This is gonna be a moment a moment to be fucking something that dyslexic is gonna try and say words In a time of great strife a legendary Interdimensional being known as or don came to the city of angel grove to establish a vanguard in the never-ending struggle against evil with the aid of his trusted assistant Alpha 5 the noble master sought out six extraordinary teenagers and give them the power to transform into unstoppable fighting force in time of great need The young heroes could now call upon colossal assault vehicles known as zords while the identity of the sick remained a guarded secret Their courageous exploits soon became the step of legend earning them the title the mighty morphin power ranges That was the star wars And alpha 5 looking getting the fucking bin And I can't remember that little droid being as an onion Ay, ay, ay, ay what the fuck was that? No, he is that annoying, but this is the only Power Ranger thing that's 100% american footage until like just last year or the year before Because originally they were meant to make it so it was in the same style as the television show And they obviously got budget increase so they went up okay, we'll get the right thing and think we got I'm gonna I'm gonna set you where I am.

I've never saw this movie at all until a few years ago and I must say what It must have been around 2013 Okay, um and I fell asleep halfway through it. Um, I watched the game today And I fell asleep halfway through it for about five minutes and I woke up and realized no, I really do have to watch this Um, so I continued to watch and I got a bit of a shock I'm not gonna lie Because I didn't realize that the red ranger and the black ranger and the yellow ranger I mean, I guess the yellow ranger might not be there for obvious reasons, but the other two of them was like Um, yes, where the fuck are these ranges? Okay, so originally they were meant to have been in the movie but there was a contract issue Just before they started filming and in the show we got Aisha, um, rocky and adam to replace them Apparently this was common knowledge because I'm so I guess these were in it before the movie Yeah, yeah, so they were in it from I think maybe half of three season two Without without going to look in Wikipedia or some type of Happily, yeah Yeah, so they came through about half of three due to um, contract issues So they never got to appear in the movie but the red ranger did later appear in the next movie Right, I was just I was very confident but apparently it was common knowledge because it was like well Yeah, there were in the series and then obviously we're gonna be in the film Yeah, because obviously Jason, Trini and um, is that they literally disappear half a second here isn't it? She's still alive at this point.

Yeah. Yes. So she passes away 2001. What god was it that they're on?

Yeah Wow, I thought it was kind of earlier than that. Okay. No, it was just after the crow I think yeah Just after the crow because the crow was late filming so that they could sort of try and sort out the film and then Okay As like my power ranger knowledge until saying the movie as a young kid Was was only up to the green power ranger being introduced. Yeah, so when I saw they were making a movie I was like, okay I'll know some of the characters uh found off cast due change from time to time But I was surprised to say in the white ranger well Tommy wearing the white ranger suit I was like where's the green because the green that's beyond the green look better Yes, but obviously that was changed because they went out of sense I got to jump the sense I got to jump Which is the Japanese version of our rangers didn't line up.

So originally That actually was not meant to come back. It was meant to be a completely different role Um, but obviously parents were like we want we want Jason David Frank back We want we want him back so they kind of they kind of fought him back for that role And he became like that footage that we see of the white ranger. It's actually a completely different Japanese Serus like set I serus to the one that my team all think comes from So they literally oh my god, this is so complex I didn't know any of this as a child. This is a normal stuff.

I've learned later on. Yeah, but use obviously Probably knew this For quite some time. I only found this out just before so probably on 2013 when we were watching this film We were in our class and I will always remember and Sean is footage of the power rangers that I knew grown up And then the centai power rangers. Yeah, and I I went into mourning for a week because my illusions of my childhood Was shattered.

Well, did you ever watch the you know that's the sewn Netflix. It always that made us Yes, they did a power ranger one didn't they yeah, they did and it went into quite a lot of detail of like how Looking about like how shrewd the person who owned the rights was he was just like um I want to sell the toys. I want to sell these. I'm just gonna cut this things and make some kind of weird sure that Didn't make any sense or like and again It didn't Though I'll give a credit.

It was so cleverly done Because it's like oh we can't into like split slice certain aspects and take certain things and it was again It's not like a doubt it. It's not a direct ripoff. It is a ripoff of the centai stuff But it's done so so well Um, but again coming back to the movie that the big thing that shocked me when I first like when I watched this at the pictures Like I said, they give him a budget went let's have fun with it When they put the kind of like the X-Men style muscle rips on the suits Like all the suits weren't just like the lycra like body suits anymore They were like padded that looks like the hard thing it was like oh shit And then they got the helmets to do different things. It's like oh, it's too dark And she's like activate torches and then the eyes turn into torches and just suddenly just change There's no more of it's just like there's lights and he said, okay go to scan a board and then he's head said goes like This is mental My my memory of as a kid because I remember enjoying it at the cinema but being like a kid just like saying Oh, yeah big fights big first time seeing CGI like like done as well.

Well, not done well But done as It was probably one of the best CGIs at that time to prepare like In that year it's probably one of the best true if you look at like Mortal Kombat and Nylation. Yes, it did better than that Yeah, there else I'm talking once that year And what I took away from it on on a rewatch was how How it was aimed at children. Do you remember when we talked about this before with Batman where it's very um You can tell why why and how this movie was made because you could see every toy that was moving around and I was like Things don't change to that And but I've got to see it. I kind of like the bad guy I thought these costumes was absolutely phenomenal and the colors of them were amazing.

Love the fact that he should read her up One of the best moments Is clearly not the original reader is it because the original yeah Yeah, you would have to look really hard to notice the big difference But I was impressed like like the glow of loads as Z got um he looked at me as in like his outfit They the practical effects on like everything just Sean and just looked at me as now like I think the budget must have went completely on his outfit I think so I've seen some I've seen some things around that I think I saw a making of episode or something many many years ago and how they did like the brain part of like the outfit Stuff how they designed that was amazing. I was like wow like they had they had a massive budget and Yeah, they did go over it from what I can gather because they had to film like some of the tv show episode about in Australia So just kind of save money and obviously getting people back to america to film it So that's why there are some episodes actually in Australia in the tv show because they saw it while they were out there Let's say let's save some money on this. I did like the use of silicone when I come to their creatures Yes, I appreciated that massively. I thought it really fit the gold off.

Yeah, I love gold off I absolutely loved it. Um the costumes on the range as well were fantastic. The only issue I have with this is I'm 41 Now and that that's spark of that sparks kind of gone for me And inside now is that what you're trying to tell us? I'm trying not to be You see that I say that but look at how I went on over Street Fighter and Mario So clearly there's still something there but for the rate for power rangers I didn't really have that kind of connection like what used to probably did Yes, I used to watch it and yes I used to pretend that I was the pink power ranger when I was playing with me cousins But that's really as far as it went I didn't have an infinitive love for it that continued on even though I was devastated when I found out how it was made I still laugh like say if I go back to like say Paul in my cinema watching it There was aspects to the movie that blew my mind in the cinema then watching it back now It's like oh why did you like that as much like in aspects not the movie?

Like the because the thing that always I loved about power rangers was the fight scenes If you go back to the original tv show, it was always done well. It was always done snap yet It's done the movie they try to be extra clever by putting extra spins or weird things that didn't like mathematically Or I know it's like a film about giant zords got it But like there's one bit where Tommy's kind of like I cornered in by the who's dropped the snuff dreams He jumped into a spin-kip so spinning the air like almost like there's like a hurricane like to only get out of the piers I'm like that looked so bad. Why did I move that as a kid? I have I have very similar moment and it's when it's I think it's when they're in the quarry and you've got Kimberly who's back living And then you've got Billy who joins her in fact They do like coordinated back flip.

They're just running back flip end and I'm just like why did you like this like what? Why? They do everything's like cool man I know but that's the thing they do everything in the most awkward and Like non-centrally it's like yeah Like I said when they were like we're getting cornered so it's like oh instead of just running and going thing We've decided backflip but that's good idea. I'll block it so both both and back with another and it's like Watch this all backflip.

I love it. Um, I love um, I love um, uh, Jason David Frank Frank. He was adorable in this mind like he Oh, no, he couldn't and but we're really surprised as I mentioned this before we started recording image or Johnson I always thought she had something about her like she to me as a pink power ranger when I used to watch the series I was like yeah, I get it. You you fit this part perfectly Holy shit the fucking dialogue that she had in this movie when she's standing in front of Zod and Is it so the what the?

Yeah, the big head thing and he's lying down to like she was like a father to us. Yeah, me George Johnson The living all lines better that was terrible and As well I looked all right and in the amount of high fives I mean, I like my friends, but I ain't gonna high five you every two minutes Just because I did this really amazing You do realize you've said that no Chris Chris is gonna be trying to high five That's gonna be like Yeah, I realize what I was saying when it came up my mouth Yeah, I feel I felt like I'm not office is just it is over the top. It's It's very much over the top and I very much don't have a love for it, but I am not so I'm not so close to glasses on but I am not I get it. Yeah, some of the things at the age of 36 are not the same as when I was seven You know, I totally get that there's some films that I've reviewed where I've went listen I'm not duffed like I know fine well that this how this movie comes across But there's still a tiny bit of a still part of it even though I know what shit I think this is when we do these podcasts and the stars are as strong with a lot of the things we do too And this one has a huge amount of nostalgia and you've got to think about it Like I kind of enjoyed this as a 13 14 year old boy Imagine watching this movie as an eight year old or a seven year old stop high five and Chris.

I saw that I was the one to say if he does But imagine Seeing all these aspects Everyone loved slime as a kid so having an ooze monster that had this brain control slime that made adults do whatever you want And he has an premise Yeah, some of the best come through fighting scenes for kids fighting monsters that you've ever seen Superhero outfits that that are straight off a comic book like page and bad guys and monsters that were just interesting Look, they weren't just like all people in a suit Like he had like the like I don't know he's had this weird like tentacle beard that just obsessed Lord said had like a half brain. I said read a repulsa is just one of batshit crazy outfits They were saying they got gold off this golden fly and wear wear donky type thing, which is basically just like Like this when he flies away at the end. It's like normal motion knowing flat. It's just like it's like It's hilarious and that pig I don't know what the pig was or why the pig was there okay He was hilarious The pig is just there he appears nowhere else in any other power range of it He is just there purely for that because I think they didn't want to spend more money on getting the the normal baboon and Because They didn't want to get those characters involved so instead of having to they just created this new this new creature Amazentoi You want to see it on it?

Let's talk about the premise or the plot of this movie No, there was but The mead mistake Joey's here like Ivan who's the scourge of the universe was going to be taken down the universe It was defeated and buried in underground not that deep underground in some kind of weird gothic egg and hand piping that looked phenomenal But they buried him next to his instruments of destruction just like not Why not spread them across the galaxy Yeah, so when he was like kind of reburfed he goes on a rampage and attacks perin Jhq takes out The floating head that turns out That was a bit weird for me because I've always known him as a giant head To make him as a person was like Oh, but it's gonna have to choose it's gonna have to something yeah I put more than just like a floating head But then fire the power ranges off across the galaxy to this hidden planet And this is where it gets interesting because that planet was the best thing in this movie Like all their monsters on there that skeleton fighting the power ranges was just one of the best things I've ever seen a reminders of Like Jurassic Park versus like the funnyborns or something that yes Yes, I'm very disappointed with what I found what I found out later on after I obviously watched it again as this planet was meant to have more but Originally we had Gabriela for Chaturic who's the actress that we see in the show But they she has an assist so she actually had to leave for medical treatment and they recast the role Right they recast the role with the lady from law and order SUV. Yeah, her is her heart here Anthony told me this the other day and it blew my mind It blew my mind So they actually filmed scenes where they had other creatures like on the planet with like they had a strange It was like a puppet type animal that they had they had all these scenes But they didn't like her in the role. So she literally went home for christmas And they never called her back, but by that time Gabriela It was available so she came back and they couldn't refill all the all the scenes But they felt enough for her to have at the sort of essentialised role That's why for like the end part of it they have the owl because they just run out of time So they literally just grabbed a big wrapped an owl and just Did you see an owl owl? Yeah, yeah She turns into an owl because they run out of time and budget and all of those things too That is so crazy and literally because I'm back watching SVU again and obviously my heart is in that And he was told as about it And I was like keep that until next week because I'll need it And then I totally forgot about it in the minute you mentioned SVU I was like oh shouldn't Richard This is where again power inches trying to keep up or trying to stay on top of what popular pop culture at the time Because what was big during the mid to late 90s ninjas so the change from just power it not just power ranges did ninja power ranges Yeah I didn't like them suits No, it was a choice and this is where I must have fallen asleep because they were in them They introduced the animals that was on their chest and and then when I woke up they were back in their suits Yeah, so better with you being an apari ninja aficionado Okay, did you like the animals or did you prefer the dinosaurs?

I prefer the animals. I like them all right. I did. I like them But also I think it was more the fact that they obviously had to change to the animals because they had to have new sword footage Yeah, that's why that's why obviously it's changed your dinosaurs to these these Animals because they needed different sword footage and that's why they changed they've got the ninjeti suits because they needed new footage So a lot of these choices they've done are that but yet I prefer the animals I love I love the sword look Yeah, it's a person's race.

I know a lot of people are like, oh gee. I like dinosaurs I don't I I'm happy to I like the second lot of animals. Yeah, I even like the third lot of the swords they get later on when it all goes a bit wrong So, you know, I'm quite happy. I just had seen his orders.

I think that's what I was saying That was just a sort of a zord fine. I'm just happy to have power ranges in there I love jay last comment. I'm a frog Oh, I know That was in the original script and if you just added that and it's stuck and stayed in the um the movie You would look down if you were a frog though when you're like the bear the wolf the frog the tiger You get the frog. Yeah, I get that I'd be pissed too.

Even if she did give us a kiss on the shake It still wasn't enough to like I felt a little bit strange that I had a good experience in dulceira I think she was called was in this like as a the warrior princess like green outfit I was like, okay, can we get a most kind of a club woman? I was very very lost when she came in. I was like and who are you and why are you here? Yeah, have we gone to zina warrior princess or something?

I like to treat this movie as a completely alternate universe. Yeah, that's how I That's how I treat it in my head because it has no The multiverse of re-inversity That is a thing. Um, but yeah, no this film is completely alternate universe to the Serus, I know that I get that you can get the feel as well Now This this is where the film has its strong points because when it uses practical effects It doesn't really well because it gets to like when they're going to get the ultimate power They've got the kind of rock monsters to fight and that is really really And the way they're doing the fight scene So that is probably the best fight scenes in the movie Like this is where you get to see the team you see the red ranger being an absolute idiot Like he seems to like just mess up on all different types of tasks or things by rushing headstrong into the injury And I'll help you with that really thinking like what's going on The kind of bumble that we around and I get through it's again It's like a almost a computer game at this stage. It's like this is the next level boss This is the boss level fight now.

Um, but I thought that fighting with the solo monsters was absolutely really out of 10 and really well done Yeah, I love this scene. It's just because it kind of gives us a hint of the fact that they're fighting styles ever so slightly changed Um in this because obviously they've got a more they've got the ninja outfits and it's it's really subtle But I kind of I didn't notice it to actually watch like it's like um But yeah, no, it's and the the monsters themselves. They are amazing. You know, they are 1995 and you can see like Where the costumes have got um like shrimp pads and things like that.

I think it's so good Like what they've done with what they had in a vibe this movie for the costumes and stuff I think it's even though the actors absolutely hated these their outfits. They hated suits They hated, you know, not many people liked being in any of the outfits they had Um, I just think it was so well done. Oh, I will give a credit for when like when it happens right it's done well um Again, it's hilarious when you're watching it back and you make you see like certain aspects to it Like the only thing I've made is absolutely cry will happen because normally when they see it off Like they're kind of morphing up to get the next stage or the power up types did because they've already got the ninja suits on And they've been like power up in the ninja suits and all it does is put the hood up and like there It's like oh It kind of like that would be less comfortable fighting in that style than fighting the other style Um, but when they get the power they get the old suits back. That's that is completely confused as a table again Yeah, yeah, and that's that's definitely down to budget and how they wanted it to be in the main show because obviously The episode where we kind of roll on episodes that we get for the television series They then still have the same suits.

So I think they were trying to keep that part of the story Yeah, like if we look about iconic outfits throughout like not just like the 90s If you go back in the 80s 70s like the power ranges if you put a power engine outfit up in front of someone You would instantly know that's a power ranger. Yeah, it's instant recognizable. Yeah, even if you call it a few colors next week, yeah power ranges Yeah, the certain symbols are certain viewpoints. So if it moved too far away from that There's the real thing that a lot of like franchise did is alienate the audience Um because they weren't it massive risks anyway with a lot of the stuff they were doing But like we don't want to go too far.

So that was probably my viewpoint as a cynic now But back then I probably didn't even know that I was like glad they got back in the suits Again This is probably again down to maybe an original power engine like watchers a kid I loved it when they called the power ranges like the swords when they were kids and they're like Like the ones that could fly were flying over the ones that were like powering through bounding through like the trees and stuff It was so empty and watch so when they called the new zords and you saw them the first time you get okay I'm gonna say the zords and you say the bear and the wolf kind of flying is like I know that the excuses that come from a space they're coming from whatever planet they've just come from But it's kind of like I kind of lost a little bit of that nostalgia vibe for me. Yeah. Yeah, I don't only like the zords format in this Um because it is the movie. It's it's done in a very very different style to the television show But I can't deny I do like the graphics.

I do I do like the way they do it The only comment I got is some of the zords you can't really see the colors of them like how they match the ranger I find that it's very um Very black and white and very metallic. Um, it's a little bit being that you're not able to see the yellow on the bear Um, I think it was the I want to say Pink's Lord. It's my white But yeah, I think they did the best that they could have the designs they were given Yeah, and as I said went more ninja style with actual mega zord when it all got together I know we've jumped to this part as well, but we haven't even talked about one of the most craziest things in this movie That opening that like I didn't have a clue what was going on the internet and jumping out was like yeah What's going on? Why is um scollum is a scollum bulk?

Why why are you in with the power rangers? And to be honest my favorite people in this movie and they are exactly the same as I remember them Yeah, so I was like you get it like you guys get it and I I totally appreciate them But yeah jumping out of a plane. Sorry. I had a cannon aside and binks buddy's tail and swiped it off and it's gone off Oh no But yeah Obviously it was the reason money for it was the jump on raise money for the observatory, which is so random that they're doing it How they're doing it wasn't that they had to hit the target and I think it was like oh I landed in the car park blow up and then the parry just come down and like for some reason All the other parry just described as normal tommy has to have kind of like a snowboard Which doesn't make any sense because you can't snowboard on air Even even when I was back then I think I actually remember thinking why he's done that why he's got that But it's very much Jason David Frank then he has to have something that's very different for him To to highlight him.

Yeah, I get that but I was all I kept thinking of is if you had that on your feet You're literally gonna tip upside down. Yeah, like you would not be standing upright on that thing And I just I just couldn't I wouldn't get while they're in the plane and then as soon as they hit the ground It's like oh they did a thing. Okay, now we're gonna get our skates on and do this great skid montage Where we just fucking high-five each other every like every two minutes. Yeah, or what got me the most is the yellow ranger How fucking enthusiastic about life is she like everything was a high-five moment was a fist pump in the air Was a good no like she really she lived her life.

I Had to say I agree with that. I think this is possibly one of her first acting roles. I think oh that makes so much sense I think I think really work for that paycheck. Yeah, I think I'm like 95 percent sure This is one of her like our region is one of her first roles That makes total sense and Amy George Johnson is like getting out of this book.

Oh, yeah I think I think I think I think I think she was at the end of her kind of life span with the show But um, yeah, I actually I have a question before you jump in anything else. Is this the first movie that ever did? Yeah, only because when I was looking today there was something from 93 Is actually pretty special. Yeah, that's pretty yeah This is the first movie because there's only three there's only three movies there's this one There's the chobo movie which is actually in the series and then there's the new new one with Perfect that was I actually liked it.

I actually quite like it The weekend because he was when we were talking about this he was like, well what other weekend because I can't remember what happened It's yeah. This is why he asked the question earlier. Is it the 95 one we're doing because I generally got confused because they didn't see a movie or it just like power ranges and it's a 93 And I was like, that's probably right. Okay, it's good job.

I didn't sit much that then This was my little bit of a confusion about the movie as well again Not so it would my understanding and again back up I was told as if I'm wrong so I'm glad you say yeah My understanding is the kids in the shore the identities was always hidden. They would never know one as the power ranges No in this movie They have basically wore like exactly the same colors of what power ranges in every single scenario they were in Is this is a theme across 30 years of power ranges? It's just common. It's just common for them to do that.

Yeah, it's literally common and I think it's more just a highlight I think it's more television stuff. It's just to see this is them Don't be confused everyone. Yeah I'm gonna be a power ranger like using stuff like when the day and I've got all the fireings if they're Power Rangers Okay, so to save money at the end of the Shoots they basically throw it open to people in Australia going come on to the power range of parties That's how they put so many people there right and then radio hosts tried to turn it into a meat power ranger event And then they had like issues with like security and stuff at that time. Oh dear But that's an Australia though it was film that it was in Australia All the kids are Australian.

That's why I think it's filmed in Melbourne. I want to say Yeah, that's why it's such a different city to what? What got me was when Tommy gets a thing on his watch and he goes and he looks around and he like looks everywhere and then he goes Come over in the court any literally takes two steps backwards and then all of a sudden they're transporting off into their big massive colors in the middle of the street Yeah, you did not give two shits about your secret identities. Did you think you're fine with this?

I was watching this earlier and I was having to get to myself because I was like you know This is 30 years 30 years later and I was like they could add to that any point No one would even bat an eyelid nowadays because obviously people have got smart watches and stuff People wouldn't even bat an eyelid. Oh, yeah, I'm talking to mine all the time because I get there because I can respond to messages But the keyboard on it's tiny and I've got you know sausage fingers. So I just talking to my watch They could do that for everything. I mean flying off in rainbow colors might um People might make people make look that way for that one The top of the door watch I talk to get we've got a question for Becca in the chat She is the parent of guru now.

Yeah GX asking is Ivan ooze ever mentioned again in parents anything after this? No, it's literally in my head and alternate universe It's a movie. It's a movie only done It was such a fantastic idea and stuff like that And he was funny as well. Yeah, did you see who the actor was who played him?

Paul Freeman as well. Yeah, he was out of like the dead and stuff like that Not just was a show on the day. Yeah, I was hard for us. I think sorry hard for us He just let me just google this and what I didn't appreciate was him hogging a movie Literally making the noise Shut up So he told you That's where I know his fears from Indiana Jones.

Yeah, oh, he's got a very um english Doesn't he make yes, he spent seven hours in makeup every time to film? I don't know he looks phenomenal. I mean the there's a second here where clearly the purple is it's more gray than it is purple It looks amazing the work that's done on that fear is just brilliant and every scene that he wants to film to make sure he's tongue and mouth Purple he was like drinking like juice Um for every literally ever seen so that his mouth was died for that. That is a summer I have given these two he was a complete professional.

He didn't look like he wasn't having fun That's because that as you said spend that much time in makeup and I could be done I said being in something as crazy as I think he's went from like movies like Indiana Jones to the Power Engine movie where he's basically Ivan Who's um and he's coming to like Basically when he dressed up as the wizard as well like yes Really? Salesman for the like the it was like it's done. It's so well and again that could have been just Foned in like not really into put the effort is it? It's gone because probably the movie lives on and is strong because of the performance of him as Ivan who's as well 100% like it's just some of the lines that he comes out with even now 30 years old.

I remember them Like where's my autograph? Me and my brother. We still quite that's for each other 30 years old every now and then if we're being obnoxious So you know We can buy a silicone face mask of Ivan who's 30 pound on either I just wanted to have a look to see if because he is so toy centric Like you could see the marketing team would have just been like And I can't seem to find anything like why related to yes, there's this little Sorry about Bandi power rangers. I think you band die.

That's it. Thank you. Um the vintage 1995 one. It looks fucking horrific I mean that That is terrible.

If I thought about it. I actually have some power ringer Um, like a movie memorabilia. I didn't think it might also actually has the pink power ranger from from that film because she continues getting it And I was shopping with you the other weekend and since we saw power rangers stuff you turned into a completely different person We were like just like going on the shop. It's having a casual look One of my writers actually said me the pink one from Australia No, this is this is this is just this is just my two more from power rangers and then I do have the ones that I did by last week So I do have like a complete girly shrine to power rangers Is that your range of the yellow ranger?

I always forget yes. Yes. Uh, my my ranger is the yellow one. Yes, but Again, not because I know like your knowledge and your love for all kinds of fandoms is out there Like not my people from the search because like see we know how you feel about star trek We know how you feel about dr.

Who and such this where do the love of the parringes come from for you? Like where did it start? No I can't remember the first time I ever watched it, but I can remember me. I remember being obsessed with it My brothers four years younger me so we kind of were maybe og fans.

Um, I can remember when the green ranger lost his powers Then we had the white ranger Get his powers and then come back. Um, I remember the movie. I remember the second movie and then I kind of fell off Melov power rangers in tail 2001 Um when they brought time for us and I think we must have had posh table or posh sky around that time So I was actually able to watch it again and my brother had got back into it. Um, so I come I'm watching time for us But yeah, I just love parring.

Just I love I love watching the Japanese version and I love watching the american version all for very different reasons Uh, yeah, what are you guys because obviously I know that you do you remember watching it as a kid like my school for always it just I do Because it was The annoying thing is when parringes when I was a kid it used to be on a tv Before school He used to start at because when we were kids things never used to start at proper times It wasn't like eight o'clock start half a year to start 20 last eight On a week on a school there. I had a leave for school at 25 past I had asked because it was a walk walk to the school Um, wasn't that far to walk? But it was I said it was the thing so I always always capture the start of the episodes And this was before the time of uh like pause and record or as sky plus that you I have a video tape did But the thing is oh video tapes in my house were used for movies So we never used to video TV shows and stuff like that so whenever you could catch them So you used to get my reruns on a weekend. So I said like watch the first half But it's amazing what you never used to see the zord fights till they're on Um, me brother.

He was more into it because he was a little bit younger So when I come to like the shore I was just on the cusp of watching the first season Not like I enjoyed it but I never loved it I enjoyed the movie more because again, it was very different to the tv show But it was more adult in a way and certain aspects were still Rewatch it bad. I was very very surprised over adult themes that were in it Um, there was some moments I was like, oh I don't remember this as a kid. It went very much over my head some of the moments Especially like when I even do set the parents off and when Zordum, you know That moment was ordered at the end of before they brought it back and the moment I was like I do not remember watching it and be a traumatized like this no Um, but yeah, I think it's one of those films that I think you can enjoy as a kid And then you kind of watch it back as an adult and if you enjoy carring just as much as me It's still great film. Yeah, I think I looked it for the toy range as well Because at the time I like I know the collector here Um, but I can't do I don't think you get the buzz as you do Now compared what you used to go because every Christmas used to be the one toy set Or the one things where you had to get like the turtle careers was crazy Like people wouldn't know how hard it was getting them to need me to need a turtle toys Um, like so It was a nightmare like you could get one but you could never get the set Um, like Joseph's in Sun and that'll be it's not the pub that's got all the dodgy people But it used to be a toy shop that used to be a toy shop And I'm trying to get in like we weren't looking to get to Toys R Us because Toys R Us was always like me That was a tree That was an absolute treat like that was a birthday That was just a birthday trip was Toys R Us The last big toy careers I can remember again this is probably the showing age Was Toy Story like the other one was a worry that was the last time I remember the shop scoring absolutely if she wasn't That was another of my 1995 timeline Toy Story came out Um, but yeah, it was like it I will never forget that Christmas when everyone wanted it was like it And then I think it tended to like furbies or something to follow when you got Because it's time I got chase Yeah, I got like younger cousins It's kind of funny to say the two words now Yeah, sorry back And yeah, I got younger cousins who were in the shit like that And they were the ones who I would have been worked I was 12 when the movie came out So and they were all like six years younger than me seven eight six seven eight years younger than me So they were the ones who were really into power ranges I just you know had not run me cousins so I just played power ranges with them It's just when the comes to like this how to sell toys and stuff like that Because when I was a younger than that To get hold of like certain figures were so easy like he man Thundercats you couldn't like you could just call it the toy something like pick up literally any type of model Like the Thundertank was so accessible to get up at At times but when the parringers went out, I think jx said like the The zords the zords were impossible you could not get like the zords for parringers for love of money Yeah, I don't think they estimated how big parringers were going to become I do not think they estimated it properly I think they had no idea what they had in their hands and how big it would become so quickly And I don't think It's just popped up in the chat Kelly you don't Sorry The unusual thing about the toy line as well I know I'm going to confit this because I blew my mind when you look at it like toys in the eighties in the nineties where uniform size Unifound look the power just came out and it changed everything like they went like the like the six inches They were like 12 giant A lot more deal the start bringing the new wave of the more detailed and realistic toys we get because at the time you remember like the I think it was the Hasbro or was it Hasbro and Figgles they were very Cartoonish and After the parringers came out the start doing more realistic type looks for them type of things I think the parringers was a trend setter for kind of more realistic and not sitting to the uniform where people So i'm not gonna buy a toy if it doesn't fit this like it took away from the og mold that is used a hundred times all that in toy like in The cartoon toys because I do remember them being they were bulky as well So they were durable these the you know this arm wasn't gonna break off just because you dropped it on the floor Like you would find with a hundred star wars ones or even he man and the shapes of them as well would proper Shapes it's not because you can picture the he-man figures and then you can picture the rest of the ones and they are exactly anatomically They're same but which is wrong.

They look so wrong. Yeah, but the power Rangers one I do remember them being very bulky very normal or very tall which was weird because that's not how you how you Like my gosh was just weren't that big. Yeah, I think that was a Japanese influence I and bands I you know I got my Tannan yeah How we kind of got the toys that we did because then I Obviously created this this this whole cultural phenomenon. Um Maybe I should have went moisturize that made us to Feel of it because it always interests me Especially these type of films where you can tell where it's advertised for where the advertising is going to who it's aimed for Which toy is potentially coming out of this film and that side always really interested So I probably should have gone back and watched it just to familiarize myself with it but I can picture them original Because I've got one I've got one about it from that one bedroom But yeah, I got one of the I got to pick our rager and it's huge.

It's about Yeah, especially when the like I'm not even gonna pull one of the courses when I was a poor one of the whole things Yeah, they're about this big the tiny and yeah, it was just it was a it was a sight for your eyes What is this? Why your own toys getting bigger More realistic but coming back to the movie a little bit as well like again I know we made jokes about it, but this was the first time we saw like a proper CGI fight because like previously it was puppets in the day Visual was interesting that he was like kind of bugs. Yeah, that was puppets and everything on the TV show There wasn't any CGI models and things like that Okay, I was like a man in the suit fighting the Godzilla style But in this it was interesting like Ivan who's monsters were like kind of insect kind of looking which may have kind of sense Cause like the are the things that's gonna outlast most humans and animals is there it's gotta be the insects But it was quite it was just like well done until Ivan who's got into the suit and that was the bit that kind of lost it I was like oh you've done well, you should have left with that You've ruined it But with anything like say that when you get big monsters fighting each other It could have been just like oh two monsters fighting or two like a monster fighting robot But they're kind of done a lot of destruction in the city as well, which was quite entertaining to watch but then they took it in a space This is pretty this is pretty 2001 when our edges decided that there were no longer going to show um damage in the cities Yeah, oh the made good choices and yeah, it's a shame. Some people some movie directors couldn't think on that later on I do like that they used a comet to try to destroy it as well.

Yeah, it was kind of like we can't destroy this by just like blew it up but it's gonna get in the path of a comet Mathematical skills to get that exact to actually and where the comet was gonna be He looked sort out of place in this movie like he didn't it was just something very disconnect from him Even though like he's an orgy and I recognize Nobody was nearly 40 and he was being into high school I think I think Because it's actually that he was damaging his eyes He had glasses and then he was having to wear lenses as well And he kind of was like no, I'm not wearing any kind of crossover to the show But I think this was the sort of him Being bullied because obviously later on he he was badly bullied by the production crew and some of the actors Remember hearing something about this that he had a bad time on it, but I didn't Oh, it was it was horrible things the stories that come out of it Um, he was he was bullied for being gay Oh my god. Yeah So you can imagine like that's why he eventually left because he was just bullied out of the show And some of the scenes you can kind of see it you can kind of see that he's so disconnected He's not there at all I'm just a brilliant person like some of the things I've seen him do and just the fact that he came back eventually for the For the final series of power rangers I'm just probably speaking much it probably speaks more to the people who we worked with than the people who we was working for And also a fan base as well, which probably over the years is Embrace them and made them feel because these actors they do go Like David Kees and Frank was constantly at a foot in convention like you couldn't get him out of them So I can imagine he would be very much the same and if he sees a fan base that truly appreciates him No wonder what you'll go back because it wouldn't be a lot of a lot of the actors and actresses from this kind of era Didn't do um conventions until 70 years ago a lot of them because of how badly they were treated The only people that were doing it was um Jason David Frank. He was literally No Um and obviously then a lot of the later power interactors, but he's the only one out of the original Yeah, I was actually I was actually at Liverpool comic con when the news broke about him Yeah, which was it was a tiny bit of a good punch. It was like, oh, yeah a childhood crush.

Wow. Yeah 100% I was I was I'm a stadium like uh Christmas there and I can literally remember me and my friend who bends more obsessed with power ranges than I am Um, we were literally messaging back and forth just like oh my god. What's happening? Like what's happening?

What's happening? It was like we're like stunned I think that we would talk that we know group chat it was very much ultra rumors nothing's being confirmed And then the news started filtering in through the convention hall and I think had to go on an actual website did like something so need to confirm it, but my god It was a good punch that one. Yeah, and I always remember the red ranger. I can't remember what his name is I'm Austin St John.

Yes. Yes. I always remember his message where he said we didn't get on we weren't friends Hey, I fucking respected him. Yeah, and I have enough respect to honor him and oh, it was it was a lovely It was really honest like he could have you could have said nothing at all Or he could have like you know, I just thought it was a nice message.

Yeah, a lot of it was quite big of them. Yeah Just Because I know I made a joke before about Billy being 40. It was actually 30 So really Has Amy George on since she just again She brought her acting was it was terrible. Like you kind of sugar corded But again very disconnected very not there.

You could you could tell the yellow ranger was new. Yeah, yeah She was very fucking eager very good enthusiastic and the red ranger I don't know. He looked bored half the time. Like he was the only one nominated for an award for this This movie Yeah, only person that was nominated for an award so I think it's like a raspberries No, I don't know No, the raspies would definitely exist He was nominated for any type of award So I'm gonna ask a question now.

So take away the dinosaurs aspect because because that because I said that I favor it as the animals So we're gonna stick with the animals. Okay, so if you were gonna have a signet or a creature that was connected to you What would you want or what would you choose? What suits you best because the chat we were actually doing this earlier when we were talking about it And I'll just scroll on it while Becca's having a think and because Oh, yeah, I know I've already got my and Beth was I was a wolf. Dave was a badger Drake's just saying I'm a frog I like that Someone said a sloth catheren possibly said a sloth And Little fields mouse more like and I'm all mine.

Okay, you say yours. I'm still thinking A gort a gort Chris knows my fascination with gorts because anytime I get a good video and tick to get to them. I'm obsessed with them I love them. They just all playful.

Don't give a shit. Yeah. I'm a gort I Think they've watershed down was enough like no I've got I've got it. So, you know, you know how vicious and nasty they can That back kick You Because you want to throw up everyone I Think I Actually could have put money on that being one of you picks to be honest Oh Yeah That's why he wasn't just like Pury perry yeah That's some good choices.

Um Yeah, I like them. So I'm gonna this is gonna be quite contrasting now. We haven't done this this year. We haven't done it yet I'm gonna throw a movie in 2025 I Sorry, what was that?

I Saw like to 2025 first. I'm not gonna say I'm ranking because another other web series has the copyright for that. We're gonna rate it I I For for iven users. Yeah Two iven users two nerds two I'm gonna give it three because I say there was elements where there was four on irawals going on in this movie where I was They again, I don't think they will purposely need like wanted irawals in them parts There were certain bits where the cheese factor was strong the nostalgia and the memories of everything that comes with this movie Not just the movie the TV show and the the door ridge.

I don't think you can forget about that when you talk about perridge I think it'll be doing it to service you didn't so that would always get the extra marks as an act inside Wow, yeah, I've been inside your kid. I've been who's was the only one I've showed up and decided he wanted to make his money But other than that it was fun. I enjoyed it today I say that I did text some you say I was falling to say about certain parts But again, there was certain bits where the combat needed to start laughing as well But I just didn't tell him that I did actually fall asleep and walk up at the end and I was like, you know what? Normally I would go back and watch it and I just I'm sorry.

I couldn't be one right. It's probably is more of an nostalgia thing What are you laughing at? I was a late kick off of the chat He's not even me over Chris. I'm not having to apologize.

So I will probably do you reclaim this. I'm sorry. Yeah, he's like this isn't flake That's better. You've already stole Chris.

You don't stay away from him He can have him back. I've not sold in anyone He did a stream in the front as well You can have your romance. I'm not here to destroy the family. I am trying to keep the family Warm wrecker Becca She's like, oh, it's good.

Why why I just want to talk about fair rangers Civil war over Chris So so late to mark your territory. You've got a piss on Chris You That went up the rails very quickly. Yes power rangers. Yes Really happy I don't have to watch it ever again No, I'm understandable.

You know my my yum is not necessarily your yum So, you know, yeah, yeah, like I was saying No, it isn't it isn't a style to think that will probably make you go and watch it again because you will remember how you I didn't have that because I didn't watch it back then and I'm I'm gonna watch the most recent one though with him from Straying to things in yeah, I would love to know your views on that when you watch that. I remember watching it I have seen it before and I have to understand it I don't know why it got hit. I don't understand it's okay I don't know what it got to be. I don't know what it got to be.

I don't know what it got to be. I don't know what it got to be. I thought Elizabeth Banks, who played the reporter was talking to me, isn't it? Yeah, it's literally just the fact that it just looked like it belongs to 95.

Like, like, look at me. I don't belong in 1995. Look at the history of the things. Yeah.

Yeah. Oh, I don't get people but never mind. Yeah, I'll be watching that at the end very soon. Yes, so no it's not used for taking part in being involved as much in the chat like it's been a joy Just to see as well, we have had a lot of content out recently and there's still a lot of content to come.

So if you haven't checked out from Friday, well, we did a few trailer reactions last week where we saw Sammy becoming a Marvel girl or Galactic Girl when we reviewed where we checked out the final the final the Fantastic Four first steps trailer, which was a lieutenant then we had me faves and Chris doing the Jurassic Jurassic World rebirth trailer, which had a lot of dinosaurs. This be wary and I had to turn the sound off for the Jurassic Park trailer to be on YouTube because YouTube told us it was naughty. So that was interesting. Also, we did an 80s trailer reaction on Friday where me, Becca, Sammy and Chris watched lots of 80s trailers.

I surprised with some movies like Earth Girls are Easy. Sammy didn't know what was happening. Hi, spirits still doesn't believe it's a movie. It is.

And we saw the gooey. It's not like it's not like that one where you try to convince everyone that it's a movie by a reporter. I saw a trailer for this. I genuinely believe that's a movie.

I still don't believe the other one is yes. Gooey's. No. Teacher, Mrs.

Tingle, they don't think it's real. It is a real movie. It's what's called. You try to convince everyone they put in the poster.

Kitty Holmes is it? Yeah. When she wasn't being kidnapped by Scientologists, it was before that stage. Before the Dawson?

Before Dawson? No, it was during Dawson. It was during Dawson. Yeah, Dawson's week out of it.

It was when she hadn't been hypnotized and manipulated by Tom Cruise and his little sex adult. Also, we had two things come out over the weekend. We had Countdown to Doomsday. We had Iron Man 3, took the movie to task and told them their thoughts and don't know what's wrong.

Then we have the wonderful Women of Nerd culture doing what they do best, talking about fantasy and nor do you ever cut to Koffney and the Red Shield out. Darryy wasn't mentioned. I would watch the Mara. Good.

That came out. And tomorrow, what have we got tomorrow? That's it. Tomorrow?

You're in for a treat. Because we're doing late night with a devil. Yeah. New monsters episode.

Sorry. I missed a week. I was dead apparently. So yes, we're back with late night with a devil.

Watch it. Yes. Because watch the realization of me and how badly I don't pick things up in movies because you will watch the progression of me going, all right, okay. Yeah.

Yeah. I totally missed the point of this film completely. If I didn't watch, if I didn't watch YouTube videos beforehand, I would have gone on that episode and talked about something completely different. Right.

So I completely missed some of the plot, some of the point, some of the context. So yeah, watch me unravel as I talk about late night with the devil. Which is interesting because late night with the devil was one of my topics on the movie of last year, honestly, one of my favorite films. Then we've got the top grumps coming back on your screen on Tuesday.

They're doing Cthulhu. They're running Cthulhu. I'm so glad you said that because obviously dyslexic eyes just went, what's in there? So if you saw me Facebook live or me TikTok live earlier, and I was trying to produce what people think, my impression of Cthulhu was this.

So yeah, so that's my impression. Yeah. Sorry about that. Yeah.

And then, yes, and then we have an episode special episode out on Wednesday. So yes, there's a lot of shit out where we did an episode or it took a couple of times again, we've reviewed creature commandos. I can't get into the word wrong. They're new carded by Disney, where instead of the suicide squad, they're using the monster squad.

So yes, that was quite interesting. Hopefully this week was cool. Yes, hopefully this week as well. We will be launching Jix new rumblecast as well.

So that keep your eyes on a lot of different things. And yes, Kelly, you will be coming back as well soon because we're reading it and Sami isn't enjoying it. No, she has to slice night. I was getting on and I was very honest with her.

It's a hard one. But I'm still determined to give it a good fucking try. So there is a few episodes out this week, which means there'll be a few episodes released on audio on Monday night. That will be monsters, women of nerd culture, and nerdy up north.

After six o'clock, they'll be available, but obviously keeping an eye out on posts. If you are on YouTube, please remember to like this video or share it if you like, subscribe to the channel and hit the notification bell so you never miss an episode of anything that we do. Never mind. I just want to say a big thank you to the community as well.

And or sometimes it's never forgotten. But when we reach out and say, do you want to get involved or do you want to do something? The amount of people that have what we got on the website and submitting things like short stories, reviews, articles, it's been overwhelming. I'll be honest with you.

Like some of the stuff and some of the and all the work that's been put in is such a high quality. I'm honestly like blown away. Like honestly, if you haven't checked out, go to www.nediotnorth.co.uk There's a lot of content there. There's a lot of things we've shared.

There's a lot of information. Check out Jaws new quiz as well. Me, Chris, and Lee, guest of all of it. Honestly, it was one of the funniest things ever.

Don't ever believe anything that Chris says. It is the best liar that I have ever known. But yeah, like anyone who wants to submit any work, write anything, tell us what you love. Like if you want to review a song you've listened to, an album, a book you've read, anything that you want to think you feel passionate about, send us something through.

And these guys will tell you there's nothing like the feeling you would ever have as having some of your work published online on a website or anyone to read. It's quite a special. It really is. It really is.

It's a place for your creativity to blossom because maybe this is something that you've been wanting to do for such a long time and you've been so nervous about it. We are completely open here. We are, you know, we're not critical. What you put out there is your passion and we want to get behind that.

Paul is doing a fantastic job on this website. And to be honest, it's quite, it's slightly a bit emotional because this initially was going to start out. Like this is just, this was nothing. We didn't even think about doing anything along these lines of the website was where no idea what North was aiming to be or what it was planning to be.

And now what I've managed to grow that and people are actually getting excited and on board with it is, it's not crazy. It's fucking fantastic. So thank you, Paul, for putting that out there. I did try to sound source and say at the end, I'm sorry, you just don't go that way.

Sorry. Have you got anything you want to promote? Because I know you do a lot for Nadia North, but you do a lot for others. You do your own ship.

Yeah, so I run another podcast. You watch. I've heard a lot of kittens in this podcast. So we spotlight some of the games across Obsidian Fleet, which is Chris the most vigilant at the moment because he has taken that bad boy and he's gone in.

He has like three episodes ahead. And we're practically into March with the stuff that we've already filmed. I do a little bit of the review on the side and we're going to be doing a rewrite series. So we're going to be taking episodes from X-Men, Star Trek and Power Rangers.

And we're writing them. We're not sure on the floor yet. Interesting. So we're, I'm considering it might be a game show, it's like thing.

We're going to have a look at the content. I'm going to talk to a few people and see how we're going to do it. But we should be doing the first episode on March. March with the Earth's Act is moving.

So we've got a convention. Interesting. Yes, because I also helped organize a online convention for Star Trek. So that's March with the Earth.

She held back a calm down. You made this on the house. Yeah. Proactively trying to steal Beggar in every form for Nodio Knoll.

Appet stealer. Appet stealer. We want Beggar for her own. We're going to get a sign of contract to see that she is the property of Nodio Knoll.

Officially Nodio Knoll. Nobody else can have our copywriters TLC, LTD. I could do a trade. I'll trade Chris for Beggar.

They're going to keep Chris away from me. I'll have you with that. Chris just know that me and Beggar do not want that. It's part of a trade deal.

That's not how it works. Well, you cannot trade human beings. Chris is not you. Hasn't that work in progress?

Ah, Chris, right. Don't listen to them. Don't listen to Paul, which is very mean. I mean, it's having a lot of people here.

Chris is like, eh? It's just like an episode of the traders. You just have to go with the floor. God, I've got to watch that.

I need to finish the episode. I was watching. It's like on my life recently. Oh my God.

The whole chap's turned on you. Sorry. That's not me. Oh, okay.

That's how I play it. Don't say I want to be the bad guy. Oh, hey. Beggar do club drums with me then.

So you want to take Chris out. I'll do top-drunk drums. Oh, hey, Mrs. Tom Grump.

Mrs. Grump. Mr. and Mrs.

Grump. Oh my God. Oh, say the name of Mr. Grump when he comes down and shows it.

Give us the things. Oh, alternate universe. You swap out one woman of nerd culture or one one for a grump. And you just do an episode.

You might already find that that's already works. Well, look at me. I think I've got brilliant ideas. No, we've got to think of the works.

Well, anything else. It's a grand idea. We over-enforce for the reason. Yeah, so next week's episode.

Next week's episode's going to be a really interesting one. So just got to do this. We've got to touch ready. We're doing tombstone.

So everyone has to have the best tashers in this week. I look at the cast of that today. That is a cast. It is a film and all.

That is a cast. Before we go, make up with Chris, please. Why is he upset? It's just about it.

Right, right. Rise up with Chris. The crap he's on with right. All right, Metro Man.

Ooh, yeet. Yeah, bossa was ready. Chris won't catch all back then. Just putting that out there.

I won't put that to you. Go. Just saying. To be further, I've been really nice to both Chris and Lee this week.

Because poor Lee, Lee's graft at his arse off. Chris has took a week off. So he just deserves a little bit of graft. And you abandoned us last night in the watch-along.

Lee came and sat with us. Chris just popped in to see what he was doing. Because he got four more every five minutes. He didn't want to feel like he was left out.

And then he didn't even want to join in the watch-moon-shiners with us last night. Yes. So, and I got to experience moonshine as well. So, yes, let's have a re-cover moonshine.

So, how did you feel about moonshine as well? Oh, yeah, it was interesting. I think the Excel did straight into 2020 season was probably the best. I probably could have started the season before that.

But it was interesting. I've got a lot of comments that I probably can't say on this podcast. So, it's definitely interesting. Okay.

Sorry for our audio listeners. The chat is going crazy. Everyone wants to see something nice to Chris. Chris is not listening, but it's checking in to see if he's been nice.

Yeah, you've been nice. Oh, what has happened to Nate? Well, I'll say it this way. Because Jake Oldmourne now has done something nice about him.

So, I would like to say on record that Chris, Lee, Jake and Sammy are four of my best friends. There we go. Oh, you can include me without moving to bad words. That's enough, look at the narcissism I've got to deal with on a daily basis of these names.

Oh, shut up, man. Don't let me out of the number number. You don't want us for long enough. Well, yes, I love you guys.

I know I told you it's what to be fair, most of you deserve it. But anyway, yeah. See, we're in the backside. See you in backside.

See you in backchannel. Stay nerdy, everyone. Bye. Big waves back up.

Bye. Bye.
