Good Live. Bye. Hey everyone and welcome to another episode of Anurae of North podcast. It's The Nerdy Podcast posted by Northern Nerd, I'm on your horse, that I'm on the horse pole.
And today we joined by Donna. And I can't remember your name. It's Michael. It's Michael.
I'm really sorry. I go for his prom name totally so you said that was it. I was like, took that I'm going to recommend anyone. I'm so sorry.
I'm all cumbwaffed. I'll do. If you're a fan of the podcast you might have seen in certain glibs in episodes when he's been run over to say swing in Donna's air Dona Zia from Time to Time. Oh, that's got a bit mystery.
And if you're a fan of the YouTube, one of these, he does SunnyCon and he has a SunnyCon channel. And he does recently doing a 10th. Was it a 12 hour or a 10 hour experience? Shall we see?
10 hours leading at 12 hours. I'm doing another 10 hour challenge next week as well. That 10 hours nonstop, Jan cut. I'm looking for bi people.
Oh, there. No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. My God.
You're going to be the mentors? That's crazy. More D-Mented as he normally is. We thought we were doing a special episode of the podcast this week, just because it may be Sam and Donna and recently finished watching what was one of the more brilliant TV shows we've watched in a while, especially with Marvel kind of raining over D-C, the last year with all the TV shows that they have released.
And to be honest, D-C just went for it and brought out some amazing and put Marvel back in the place a little bit. back in the place a lot of things I'll go there for the DC fans. Yeah, which James Jones help though, let's not forget that. I was going to say that there's a big blurred line, James Jones, if I'm in fact like one of the scenes was actually shot by Marvel.
Yeah, so it's technically Marvel did help. I'm a DC fan boy, let's have this. So just this one. So yeah we're doing a piece of me again, I'm going to get the craft part out of the way with so everything disclosed in disclosed, everything discussed in tonight's episode is our opinions and our opinions alone.
If you want to discuss any topics from tonight's episode please come and join us in the and we have a discussion of what we want to have as anyone come for us and tell us that our opinions are wrong. We can agree to disagree and abandon so let's keep it fun, keep it kind and keep the toxicity out of notism. Could I look up? I was just going to say if you've got something this year 1v1 me.
I think it's in the car park every round of the day, I was going to say it's in the car park. Is there any better car parks? I was just trying to get the last copy of the night now I'm straight but they're not called out for the teenage years. So yeah we're doing a piece maker.
Wow this came out of nowhere. Yeah it really did. It was like it was announced like just after suicide it was not. I think it was just before the release of suicide court because it did the the stinger where the head piece maker was the end of credit scene and when they came up in the bed and the team was standing there going what's he going to do?
He's going to go see if he's going to save the fucking world or something. Yeah it was a weird anyway but it's like it's John Cena, you can't kill off John Cena, he's too big of an asset. John Cena threw a tar build and dropped on him and he still got caught up. You can barely see him at times.
You can't see him? That's it. You can't see him. He's got that onslaught from Brock Lesnar, he's invincible.
He kind of invented a superlax that he didn't really. I tell you about that when you can sit there and watch John Cena and think he's acting rings around how the rock is. It really does see us. I mean because that will work in that level after all of them.
I'm back a little bit to where he's at the payments in the suicide squad. Let's see a suicide squad in the original. I was a fan. I don't give it as much here as the original.
The IACO didn't stuff like that but I can understand why some fans kind of felt a bit disappointed by it. But when James Gunn got involved, as you said before, because the Marvel's fuck up here, by firing them for past discussions was a bit of a blow. I said Warner Brothers and D.C. capitalized and what we got was unbelievable.
And with the cast that they had, you never thought that the two standouts in that film was going to be John Cena as piece nigga. This weird, like not of Annie hero villain was he in suicide squad? He thinks he's doing the right thing but he's clearly isn't. Yeah, that's all it looks like.
Miss Sky did show he's here. But then I just thought that it was spin off with King Shark as I'll be all in for that as well. What's more draw as well than the wrestler? Was it?
Yeah, some more draw as King Shark. I remember when they'd known, I was like, oh, wrestling's not going to be wrestling in Hollywood? I didn't know that. I thought it was the voice.
I thought it was the voice of King Shark. I would have to say if I ever got some more join these Green Bolson than it was. He could have been the figure of it but that's definitely Stallone's voice. Right, because he put on these Twitter and I was like, oh, some more draws and I was like, that's why he's playing off.
And then he did that wrestling in the Panchor and then I saw him again. And he returned by NXT to win the title and just to kick back the title for me. He's a mess. Yeah, because I remember the credits when I said King Shark, my Stallone, I was like, fuck off.
Yeah. It was totally out there. Yeah, and I was a little bit sad when we thought we saw the end of Peace and the person stands out is John Cena. It's not a bad film.
But you know what you can do and I think you said it at the time, Sammy. If John Cena is not enough for something, you know he's going to get the short. He's going to be in something and do something a bit. He's not working so yet.
It's going to work. And just these comments on the, like when he's plotting on the base in, was it? I would eat a million dicks if it means giving peace. And he said it was some saviessness and big only like, I actually believe he would eat a million dicks.
Yeah, but then we got the spin off and when the first announcement, announced that it was all excited. But for some reason, it made it absolutely not for us, not for us, not for us, not for us, not for us, but more difficult to get in the UK, which I can't say it lasts in too much longer because wherever it goes, it's going to hit big. But what a show. From the first episode, it was just brilliantly done.
And like we caught the humour, serious, just everything that you wanted in the show as well. It was, the casting is absolutely phenomenal. Jennifer Holland is what was our character's name? Blancaire.
Hardcore. Hardcore, yes, absolutely brilliant. TSD from Orange's New Blanc. Absolutely, I couldn't stop calling that TSD.
Especially at the end of the year, you'll call TSD! As Amanda Waller's daughter, which again, I've never saw coming in a million years. It wasn't in the comics, was it? It was original character.
It's something James has done well, where he's actually sent quite a lot of original aspects. He hasn't really drawn much from the comics, from all of your sounds. You know, he did that with the gardens in the galaxy, he really took the elements of it and just went into one of the roots. So then the comics started on watching him, but seriously, what happened with the socialised characters was, I think, the piece of me in the comics just was a side character in a few issues, barely last 20, 30 years ago.
Yeah, it was like, that's the thing, this show had a lot of like, seen as he lists, like, heroes and villains. Like, so much more to be like, this as well. Like, I'm actually like, this was like where you got, you know, flashback man, Superman and all that. It's amazing, like, to take, like, more character and give them more depth than somebody else's, to be honest.
True, but I think that gives them a little bit of squate as well. They can go with different roots, where you can't with Batman, or you can't with one, you can't do them. Because everyone was here, they were looking at the ship, we got with the Joker, they were everyone was here, that's not my Joker, that's not the Joker, I see. But, like the album was one that was for it, every time someone mentions what they probably find it on Friday, when we talk about Tim Burton, and like I said, they have a version of the Batman, but characters that people aren't really that familiar with, you can then get broader strokes and take different roots, take more gambles as well.
James is so good at doing that though, look what do you do for Guardians? Like, it was a, it was a nothing commodity, like nobody knew who Guardians of the Galaxy were. And the fact that he even brought in the original Guardians of the Galaxy, the end of Volume 2, to show you then, was just genius, like, he's writing abilities, a ridiculous, like the talent on that man is unreal. So, I'm quite interested, I know we're going to go off through the series and stuff, but out of the new piece, make sure he was just, if you have a character, we'll start with Donna.
I mean, I'd like to say, eagerly? Yeah, eagerly, eagerly, I talk character in this one. Yes, you have personality in everything? Yeah, I've got eagerly.
And if the reason I was just because of the eagle curls, I don't say no. That's how Google eagerly is. Yeah, it's vicious. But he starts pecking everyone who goes near him and stuff like that.
Brilliant. I'll tell you something, I'll get a good answer. Oh, 100% vigilante. 100% that dude is hilarious.
I thought he was brilliant. I thought the chemistry between him and John Cena was just magic. He's fighting the ability, he was brilliant. He's so loved amazing.
I just loved everything about him. What were you talking about? I've got a lot of people, like, it's the little part I make up for me. The guy who was modern at the beginning.
Yes, he was a great person. Like, even though he stands next to all nearby. Yes. You see them in the open credits for them, they've never seen again, but like the little comedic impacts there.
There was also like the main prison warden guy. It was like on the inside him as well. Especially when they did the outtakes. He's like, probably in the courts.
I know it's great to show that all the other next day of peacemaker in his conversation about Batman. So, Batman's a pussy because he doesn't have the balls to do what I do. He doesn't, but he doesn't. He puts him in prison, they bring out again in the murder.
Think of the body talk, can he's got a puddle? He's got a puddle. He doesn't have the same fondums and stuff like that. It's basically asking the questions and stuff that we've all pretty much kicked off about wanting to know.
It's a great degree of self-awareness with us. Like a lot of the Jorzawana that are in there. I mean, you even get like mentions of like all the sea lists, heroes and villains like Kait-Man and whatnot. Yes, I was like, I was like, I was like, is he right about with poison?
I'd be still. I was like, I was like, the Harley Quinn anime at the shore. Yes. Like, Kait-Man versus condiment man.
Yes, I'm Kait-Man. I do a lot of the Harley Quinn shore. And he was just an absolute favorite. He was so funny.
So, do you hear him in there? That was genius, brilliant. Again, I'm going to, I forgot his name, but I actually love them all the way through. I'm referring as a dyed beige-off.
Thank you guys. He was absolutely brilliant all through. I know he's first name, I can say the after his name was Steve Conner. He was like, I'm a converse.
A converse. A converse. That's the one I'm going to say. A converse is a death metal person.
But you thought he was going to say the Rodgenus for a second? Why not? One of them nights over. But because I thought he was just going to be the man in the chair.
Like, as Ned is in Spiderman. But like the little jokes and he's like him and like, he's a peacemaker in a beige-lant. He's like three ways, like the little conversations and arguments and little bickering just absolutely slithers all the way through. And the fact that the end of the even made it, the one that walked through it was like he died, he's beige.
And then what he pretended to be like one of the butterflies, which again is the most ridiculous plot line ever in the type of TV show. It worked so well. And the guy from another teen movie, which again, slithers and I realized who he was, was going to see us. No, it's scary movie.
Scary movie was in other teen movies. I know all the different- He was in Dead Man on campus. Yeah, with a lot of weirdest brothers movies he's been. Yes.
And he says, the person who was before you been in there, why did he die? He's been on the minimum explainer as well. And your heart broke from a little bit. I cried when he did that speech.
I was in tears. I felt so sorry for him. I'm sorry, Donna. I was just doing how unexpected.
I was surprised that the tears didn't give it away, but he was not a butterfly. Let's be honest, the one right butterflies now, were they? Right, so the fun, like the, the exchanges between that part, I think it's from the anti-x at the end, where he's done so he's just listening off of every single person I could have put in prison. That's not- And he just goes on a rant.
And the thing is, there's like, slightly so he just goes up and landed on my house. He goes on another link. And the facial expressions as well, like I said, the Communist and John Cena, look at each other's John Cena's going in that rant. I would have brought up, but they're just looking at each other, just in astonishment that he still keep going and going and going.
Yeah, again, as an over-John Cena with wrestling, he is on when he's on. He's like, he's professional. But I didn't think he would have the range that he gave us in this. I thought he would just be straight action guy.
But he felt so far from there from, his interactions with his dad was half-rigging, who again was just another level of performance, like Robert Patrick was sinister as fuck. I've never been scared of him since T2, and this was his best role since T2. Yeah, he's been, ah, the faculty, I thought he's really good at the faculty. But no, his level of sinister in this is like, wow.
Like I even found myself going, when he was talking just wow. I can't believe we've gone there with this character. And the fact that he, when he punched eagerly, he made an apology tweet to everyone and said, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.
I'm really sorry that I punched eagerly. And I'm like, Kressy. No, it's what he's done. He knew what he did.
So I was expecting it as well, because I saw it before we watched the episode. But let's, I know we haven't talked about yet. I'm surprised we haven't mentioned it. I know if you've joined in before, the podcast started, you would have heard the music.
Oh. That alternate fucking hell. What a genius, genius idea. Immediately made a stand out from any other show you've ever seen.
100% ever will. Yeah. You don't. You don't.
You're watching every time. And more. Yeah. And people are begging James going on Twitter to keep it in the second series.
Do not change one bit of it. Say I would change to it. I would add more because you're going to get different characters now. Because if some characters not going to return, just give us the same dance with this different people.
Because it's going to be now bigger actors and like not to do anyone that disrespects in that show. The people are going to want to get in this film now. And in a TV show. Just because of how well it was made.
And like with the people that's attached to it as well. I'm surprised if they say you don't give them a little bit more range to go for a bit more bigger fish. Because as I said, as a villain score, the butterflies, I can't even remember a storyline with the butterflies in DC Comics. I might be wrong.
Now I think it was another one in the original concept kind of things. But a lot of similar at least to what we've seen in the past, especially with Marvel. Like I said, secreted with the scroll invasion and stuff, there was a lot of comparisons. And I know we'll get to the end bit as well.
But there was a lot of comparisons between the butterflies, end goal and flannas' goal. With like they're cleaning up the mess, like the human, the human, the other worlds have created by like force or any needs, any means, possible. So there was a lot of comparisons on the interweb when the final date, which to be fair. I must be so dumb because I don't pick up on any of this mind.
I am so like in what I'm watching. I don't compare to anything else. So I don't know if it's just dumb or naiveness, but I literally just like, I've never even put two and two together. I must be really stupid.
I don't think it's stupid. I think you just like, I just had you get involved into the aspect and enjoy it. If that makes sense. Yeah.
I just watch what's in front of us. I don't sit there and say, look, that's a rip off of Marvel. Like I don't think that way. Like I love it for what it is.
But it makes it, there's a lot of shit I get come out with out of this show. Clearly, that kind of pissed us off as well. Like the character, like Jennifer and I just said, it was hard. I always want to call it hardcore.
I want to call it hardcore. It was hard. It was hard. But she got a lot of hate with the being every issue with James Gunn.
There was an advertisement for her now. She, I can't see anyone playing the part as well as well. Well, they got engaged the other day. And the comments about netizens was ridiculous.
As I Jennifer Holland has been an actress for a really long time. And Jennifer Holland has never been in any of James Gunn's thing. You can say the same about Jennifer Fisher from the op-amp from the office. She was married to James Gunn.
She was in a few of these films, but nobody said anything then. I hear when people do that Jennifer Holland is an amazing actress. And she's absolutely stunning. No, definitely.
And Vexia, I was quite like in the build up to the relationship between her and Vexia, or Chris, shall we call it as she later? It's not named. That was quite an interesting element, which again, probably exploring season two. Now it's being announced that we are going to get it.
Yes, it was definitely a spark between them two. But I love the fact that that woman had boundaries. Like when he came to the bar and she just wanted to chill out, she was like, no, fuck off. Leave me alone.
Like, I love the fact that she had boundaries. I love her loyalty and how upset she was with Tasty. Sorry, I'm going to call her that. Because she'll always be Tasty from Origins of New Black.
I loved how upset she was with her. She was getting there. She was getting the team environment and then for it, it was a real betrayed. Yeah.
She takes it. She takes everything to heart, but doesn't try to short a lot. Well, one thing I have to say as well, I think American TV shows are now starting to carten on to the British way. When it comes to like, seasons or series.
Yeah, I have to say it. All right. They're not doing like the full 24 episodes slog, whether it's an episode or anything. Now we're getting shorter run TV shows.
That works so much better. There's no more ways to time or like say, a fuller episode. It kind of gets like the story towards the right way. And I think there was quite a natural build and a natural feel to the friendships that was formed.
And like say, the relationships that were like cultivated throughout this show that was done quite well in this. Because at the start, everyone kind of hated Pete's name and thought he was a dick. Just and when he was. Like they went too wrong.
But he did have like say, I would say he's like a man child. Yeah, he had so many redeeming qualities. It was that thing. Like you're saying in the movie and we just think like, you know, he's an ex-con like, you know, he's, he's highly trained and well, but when you get down, he's just like trash.
Yeah. Used to like trash and he's gone on Facebook too much. Yeah. The fact that they make a thing story for him as well.
Which I just don't think. The minute he sees Dad and not who he's dad is and the background that he's got. And obviously the backstory with his brother, it just makes so much sense why he's the way he is. And then when he figures out why he's the way he is.
Because it takes him a long time. Because he thinks he's done this all on his own. But it's not. It's all been implanted in him.
And when he finally figures that out, it's just it's magic to watch him. I can't believe I would ever say in my lifetime that John Cena is a bona fide actor. Like a proper actor, he's not a wrestler turned action star. Like you see, Boston's.
He is a bona fide actor. He generally showed so much range of emotion. It was scary. Oh, 100%.
And some of the jokes and like, say the little like one line and stuff like that. Like the very start, the first episode when he's in the hospital and he's talking to the doctor about his next year. But I was trying to make his muscles more defined because he says, I worked on it a lot of times. I'm a little one.
Just absolutely well done and brilliant. I was like, fuck, you know, like I said, that kind of jokes we want to get throughout this. It's kind of bad. I was surprised.
I know suicide was real. Suicide sport was brutal. But this was a called new level that makes it taste and say like some of the deaths and some of the violence in this. And that whole like when the funny realizes the glasses of a butterfly and he's banging the metal chick back at her place.
And that fights between her and John's enemies and his tiny wainies. It's more hilarious. Well, I'd never thought that saying before. But my God, is he still?
I don't know. What do you think John Cena's in the body? Yeah. Like, you look on a museum and saying like probably carved smooth marble.
And the fact that he was singing with the vibrator is one of the highlights for us. And his taste in music as well. Yeah. But I never, I think that's where I figured out how white trash he was when you realize his taste in music.
It's just all panel. Yes. 100%. Because there's never not a good time to rock, by the way.
Yes. That was one of my half half half half felt moments in nothing when all in the van. And him and makes a vigilante and I can't pronounce it. I always sort of died being a job for being taught in.
Why are you playing it so loud? It's never like the wrong time to rock. And then the adopte is like kind of like the slogan going forward. And we're into takes a photograph and all going towards the city.
See if the world's in this sort of van. Like all is right in the world. But it's just like a perfect little moment for the. Yeah.
Or after the killer guerrilla regime. So. Oh my God. Was that going to be wrong?
No. It was apparently it's got a name. And if you go back, I think it's in the comics in like 1966. There's like a show of comics where a gorilla escaped the zoo and joined the war effort.
Right. It was slightly intelligent but wasn't broad. Right. Like.
This is like a story game. It's so James Scott, isn't it? Just like go to the like the depth of comic book history to find these characters to put in there. And what was it?
It took a lot of people that like search and say like is that gorilla like actually Canada and the girlfriend was like oh yeah it was for this. All right. Well, I would have. I would have.
And I would have freaked out if I was growing to kill them off like that. I would have said that was the next year because when I saw a gorilla and I controlled it. It's good. Yes.
Yes. But I was like no. I was like no. Chainsaw.
But it's still a good. It's still a good. Yeah. Crazy.
I love that. We need to protect that man at all costs. I mean like the things that would change them like the backstory how he killed his brother in the comics it was actually his dad was a Walker and no from the Nazis. He's not killed himself and I'm printed on his brain and the ghost of his dad haunted him.
So you know how we finished it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
His dad's like comes and sits on the step next them. That was actually in the comics. The Haunton and there was also a thing like you'd believe that everyone killed Haunton and he's telling it. Right.
So I haven't really translated that one with the comics which is really better. Yeah. But I do have the idea of these you know his dad. I think that he's going to be there in season two.
And I loved it when he sat next to him at the end and he's just like. No, he's not quite right there. Yeah. He's like side eye in himself.
You understand how to go to the segue as well? Because I really want to talk about the aspect that I never thought would be amazing. He's helmet because in the suicide squad looking at it. He thought this is the most ridiculous.
It looks stupid. Yeah. But when then he got his dad's little sanctum of how you would explain it. Like a little portal into another dimension.
I think next to him. It was. Yeah. Yeah.
It was. He didn't even portal. Like a room of requirement in Harry Potter. Yeah.
He kind of like mock to vigilant even not normal at once. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
I would have just like what the fuck says. But how like different the helmets do different things and different aspects. I thought that was a brilliant little touch. That's almost range as well.
And that's scary. So that gives everybody scabies to be challenged. What? I tell them people are like, oh, you want to do so fine.
I break each finger individually over time and try and crack with a soldier. Like that level of command trying to learn. It's like such a childish thing as well. Like I just want to help everyone.
Scabies. It's like, okay, we'll do it. And it's like it's such a childish thing to put into a helmet. But then helmets like the sonic boom one when she acted.
That one of the Nt I was decked. I was absolutely decked. I don't want to get in the end too much because I know we'll talk about that properly. But then helmets work.
The leg of their own character. Yes. Especially when, like I said, the last one, I wanted a new black. BSD.
But she was on the helmet at the X-ray. I did one. Oh, God. Yeah.
When she figures out, he's a butterfly. Yeah. I did not say that coming as well. I did not say that coming as well.
I did do a gas at the end of that episode. I'm glad we waited a bit. And I think we watched, I think we had like four to watch. And then because it was only six, was it?
Yeah, I was. It is. Although it's probably a bit more than that then because I only had two to watch to finish it off. Yeah.
But I think me and Donna freaked out a bit when I watched the final episode and I was just messing on and saying, fuck and watch it now. I did. That's what I was going to watch it. No, when he put that message in, I was like, and we've got to watch this now.
As it's Paul's freaking out, we need to watch this episode. Yeah. We'll come to the reason why a little bit later as well because Jesus Christ, that was a surprise and a half. I did not expect them to, yeah.
Someone had to spend some money for that bitch. Well, I'll get into what he said later. But I think the reason why I loved this show before, because for years, and again, I'm talking years of DCT, they were being had, not about TV shows, like our all-verse, which has now been milked to the extreme where we're just begging for it to be finished now. I think the splash is still going.
Yep, there's still some speech that's out there that the flash needs to re- Oh my God. We, as soon as King Shark was in it, we were like, yep, that's good. And then it was a few more episodes in the room, we just dropped off like completely. We do much.
The legends of tomorrow went back to start it up. Yeah. Then the week-long crossover where it's like, you start got to start with Arrow, then you go with the legends of tomorrow. Yes, we did that.
Yeah, that's what we got. That's what we got. Yeah, we actually did that. It's like you're forcing me to watch the video, I don't want to watch.
Yeah, it's like, I was okay with just our own flash. Keep it on our own flash and then it's not bringing more pain than like, it went next to spin off with that spin off with that spin off. And I was like, no, I've got the time and the day for this. So I think it was the saddle, the other spot where it was Barry, but we're really Barry.
Oh, Barry from the future where he was trying to teach Barry a lesson. Yeah, it's like that'll teach me. I watched the end of that and I was like, okay, I'm just going to put that down over here and watch all the things. Yeah, so we had to walk away from it.
It's too much. Yeah, they had the perfect end point, which was basically Crisis on the Fint the Earth. That was the perfect way it ends. If the state slipped to the original story and killed off Supergirl and killed off the flash, like from the comic, started being perfect end point by the way, no, no, we're going to add more.
We're going to do a bad woman. The only thing, like the only thing that could have been Lucy Link, that would have been like the Lucifer series. Yeah. If they brought Lucifer into the flash, you know, he was in the episode.
He wasn't in episode of, yeah, he was in the episode. We've never watched it, but we are intrigued by it. He was in the episode of the Infinity Crisis because John Constantine goes to say it. No, that is one that I was sort of said about.
Constantine then managed to finally get someone who is my Constantine. Like that's how I read Hell is that and I absolutely isn't that Ryan. Absolutely loved him and they canceled it. But he came back, he was in Legends of Tomorrow, he was in Harofa.
But he's also the voice of Constantine in the days, the animated films. Yeah, but he's been cast for the- He has for the new one, I'm gosh, but he was in the end. I have seen the ones that he was in. I do like that, right?
He was just, he was my Constantine, like my John Constantine, I loved him. Well, I was going to play in the Liverpool game, it's never too bad, is it really? No, but I was, like I said, with the David K.C. TV shows, it was kind of like, DC Light.
You never really got anything, like the big, the big moments that you wanted to, you never got the Batman's, you never got the Superman's or anything like that. But this, it kind of still, you don't get them as much, but you still got reference to them, like when he's talking about the Green Arrow, and I see a slag of the Muff, and I guess I like the first one. What is this thing about him? Oh, I can't remember now.
Good night, he was the Brony half, he was the Brony half. Brony kind of fits. Yeah, because I was the Brony half. He's the guy who was the Brony, he's kind of had it all in for all the big names, like from the first time.
Sorry for every one of them though, I don't know. He felt like I got out there, sorry, and it's like that coming over at the end. When even buried on it. Yeah, because they were all- But we'll talk about what they were mentioning though, sorry for the spoilers, if you haven't watched it for now.
To be fair, you shouldn't be watching the podcast. Yeah, you shouldn't be watching the podcast. Yeah, you shouldn't be watching the podcast. How long were you in like spoiler alert?
Yeah, because in the first episode of Peace Maker, they start the joke. He makes the Aquaman Foxfish comment to the, to the, to the guy with the broom, the janitor in the hospital, and he's like really upset. No, I don't see that. He's getting, he's got to, yeah, someone, almost like a corg woman saying, someone, someone 449 from the internet, why would he lie?
What would send his messages, like was the, what was it, aquariums with a bag full of shits and comes out, ending his nuts. But he's like, he's making, because quite good reference, he's got, someone's the bag of chick, I'm all first, someone's the bag of dude, all for that too. But I draw the line when someone fucks a fish. These guys have walked.
Then the end bit, but I would love to know what was your reaction when you saw it. I'm not bothered to lick your fucking dickhead's part of the fish, but that was hilarious. That was, that was, for me, like, I'm frustrated by what he's like, oh fuck a fish, he's like fucking sick of that rumor. And Barry, I was like, it's not a rumor, he's like, fuck you Barry.
Yes. Everybody could times have, he just wanted to say a fuck you Barry though. That was, that was, I thought it was good. They're doing it just as great, because you saw, like, the Superman floating, Wonder Woman in the thing.
And then you saw the outfit, you think, oh, they've got someone that looks like Jason in one, that is like, really looks like Jason in one, that's like, fuck, they've got Jason in one. I can't forget this appointment, like, we did at the end of Shwesam, where we get super, they've got none very still. And so, I, they just like, the super for me, it's the carville theatre, even where they're like, tash. Oh.
Oh. And yeah, Carter was standing there just for one ring, but he said, he said in interview that he basically begged to be on this show. He basically begged for the right options. Yeah, the right options.
Well, that was the thing, because I think that, I think that, I asked everyone, I don't think scheduling, like, say, he'll get up and Henry Carville could do it, or it might have been, I couldn't afford it, to be honest. It was the bottom to know the set of the Witcher, essentially, well, go on. Hmm. They say, yes, please, in character.
Possibly. But, like, see, just the fact that they actually got like Barry Allen. Yeah. Well, they say, well, got Barry Allen in like, in, in, in, Er, Er, Er, on the Flash TV show as well.
He did make a little cameo on that. So that didn't surprise us. But, and Jason, my lord, and, but one of others, and they say to let them use that kind of language as well, because I didn't think that, um, fuck you, Barry would ever be, you know, clear along with since the Secret Friends car, it was a bit. Like, I remember when they were saying like that, the other bit was, well, panicking, because the couldn't use dark sides, in the name of the case, dark side, it was like two scary kids, like pressure groups and Christian groups in America in the early, he's like, you can't say that to my children.
I was just like, ah, fuck you, Barry. Fuck you, Barry. Oh, my god. I agree with Donna.
The first bit where he turns around and see is you took your fucking time. That's absolutely ridiculous. I'm like, well, here, it's the justice. What, what, what, I've been up a few years, and me and it's sort of was literally the kind of thing I've seen, and I'm like, it was just me, that's what I was like, what was I was like, what was it?
Is that what's gonna happen when we do the, the nearly up north meetup, we're just standing up, go, where the fuck are you? I can't afford that, anybody who turned up there now. And then just randomly shout, fuck you, Barry. Hey, look how Barry come in, don't you find a Barry?
And this is what a sign of saying, Aquaman, Foxfish. We need to use that as a plus, we idea. Oh, from what, round foot, like, I've got the fish on the end of his fly, or something like that. You do, we need Aquaman, Foxfish, T-shirts.
Ready for when Aquaman 2 comes out. Oh, no, no, I wonder if we're gonna get a piece of a camera, come here when Aquaman 2 now. See, I saw you fucking fish. Oh, good, funny.
Can we just talk a second about the cow? Jesus Christ, yes, what a fuck was that. How was I expecting the ginormous cow? Me too, that's what I was just about to say to me too.
I thought it was gonna be like a genuine cow. I started singing a magical channel when I wanted to talk about the cow. Oh, is that a walk on your mind, or is it? Yeah, do you know what that might mean?
First thing I thought, the telephone, the cow won't start singing, that he's not been at it. I look like Johnny Vegas, so he got out of the buffalo, and got out of a sex-swins trailer, where, oh, well, I'm actually gonna be a bit of a silt like. Well, I do now. It's funny, it's made with that we take shit on as well, those ass-swins, yeah.
Oh, we take this off Doctor Who, like... Yeah, it's the kind of thing that's locked up when the doctor's like, what are you still with? That's the next crossover that we're gonna have, Doctor Who versus a pacemaker, so yeah. That'd be interesting.
You and the artist will be money. What's Doctor Who? All of them, the seven are special. Well, I think what they did well is what normally do we do in many TV shows or films, for example, they give you a sense of dread.
You did actually, like, luckily none of the big characters got killed off, but you were expecting it to, and you're actually worried about the work, because some of them got brutally hurt. Like, hardcore, she got shot a few times, and that was absolutely brutal, and saying the butterfly just about going around. Yeah. And then, having it pulled out, like, see if that at the end was quite good.
I'm fucking poor, vigilante. He went through the walls for a laugh-off and show as well. You're a stab shot, blown up. When he went into that prison, man...
He's told, he's getting made of cloth. Yeah. Oh, God, yeah, I thought about having to be able to open up because you think he was going... The nonsense that I came out with, absolutely nonsense.
Like, if you lose your little toy, it goes all balance again. I actually heard that as well, but apparently it has to be the full tour for it. He loses your balance, but yeah, the fact that he kept referring to it, then he was like, hobbling all the time. When he's trying to ask the bug in the jar, I was like, oh, that's all you have to call it.
It's like, what, don't you find it interesting? You find it in your bug, and it's the same call, it will be tail. Yeah, yes or no questions? I don't want you to have a call.
You can say to him and say that, like, well, please be getting visibly more and more frustrated with him. He said, what can you not understand? It's yes or fucking no. But he says, like, you're finding my interest.
He's like, yes, I find him highly interesting. But that's not the bug. Even their chemistry was absolutely unreal, but I loved it when vigilante went into the prison. And the one way he was talking to them, my friends says it was absolutely genius.
The guy who plays him just knocked it out of the park, I was like, I just wanted to watch vigilante all the time. Absolutely loved him. Because vigilante is not a big character in the comics, but I think he was in season of the arrow as well. No, it was like several people played vigilante, and I think the original one was like, a lawyer or something.
Yeah. And then I went down and then you eventually went four for fifth one was like a bus boy. That's what we got. What about the one with the green suit?
Oh, I can't think of what he's doing. Oh, I'm asking you. You must have. Wow.
And he's cheating. He's bad. He's cheating. He's a shit out of paper.
And he's firing chicken. What's he talking about? He was crying while he looked. I've often loved the bit when, as I said, when I'm two, dickheads were giving him shit at the car.
I'm really grid-a-shit. I was like, yes, high-five. Yes. And again, when he said the trash-cales just like...
I could definitely say a genius. And I can't say a bad moment without one though. Well, especially like the two. Ethan Spooling, the guy who comes up for the dying vlogs, like I could see him being them two playing that part.
And can we just, you know, when at the end, where the butterfly, who we see, who we did have in the jar, who went... Goth. Goth. Yeah.
And he was when they went to talk. And if anyone else think that John was going to join them and help them. Kind of, boy. I was literally thinking, I thought he was going to help them.
That's the kind of thing, isn't it? Because I made a thing. Because they said that was like full-thing through. Like if you want peace for any cost and that.
And then they actually give him a lot of play. What he follows. Like he's different. Like, oh, so in that way, it's like sort of character development and change.
For what you'd expect them to do. And it was quite surprising. Yeah. Because he did one with a team down type thing.
Yeah. But the way he did it as well. Helmet switch on tornado or something. I wasn't expecting that.
You would call people. You would call people. And she got splashing through them. And then came up with the most raw testing.
I've seen in a while as well. When she falls out and all the interesting. Oh. All the other things.
It's our feet. When she realizes what's on her, it's hilarious. But I genuinely thought he was going to help them. And I don't know if it's because of that.
When he finally realizes that that it is got inside of her. And I think he did build not a friendship. But he had a little bit of an understanding. Otherwise he would never have kept him.
And fed him and made sure he was okay. That was one of the things as well. When he went really indefinite. He's like, I've analyzed himself.
Maybe I just keep dangerous pets who can't talk. I was going to go, like, I love Jiggly. I love Jiggly. I clearly loved him back as well.
When he's seen a CGI, you're getting to, you're not when you're seeing a CGI. You're hugging John. You think that's the first thing I've seen all year. Yeah.
Like I said, as Donna said, Jiggly had his own little personality. And he didn't like people. And I loved that element. And how when he was trying to impress John as well, he would fly off the center and bring some of the road and down.
Yes. Awesome. Then again, it was a swivel one of them. No, it was too awesome.
It was too awesome. Yeah, it was another person. No, it was because it was the car park. Like, originally it was the shop thing.
And they were on the... Awesome. Well, it was a crazy alley. Like, it was a scene.
I mean, the eagle was really like an area. It wasn't a... Yeah. Everything was like the car was falling.
America had like, like, the same place that all of everything. Shandy, how did I have it? Yeah, a little trailer. But...
