Hey everyone and welcome to the Nodioh podcast is in early podcast hosted by all the nerds I am one of your horse Sam and I'm the host Paul and we are joined by the fabulous and majestic looking pages As well, so yes, we are doing a special episode this evening as pages as asked as if she could come on and promote some of her Projects actually Scott Oh and with a page has been a friend of the podcast and a friend of the group and just a friend Basically, we always like to oblige so this episode is all about herself and all about well We're gonna talk about horror and probably some weird shit as well. I'll probably say a couple of us So yes, so thank you for joining us at the same in pages and thank you for taking some time to come on the podcast Oh, thank you for having it. It's like I was thinking it's been ages since I was on the last one that we did I think what about yeah, go longer.

It was a charity podcast. So it was a year of November gone So you're in a few months. It's just I don't know where the times go in and like it was for the cat Yes, I know when the check the catch already promoted us they used actually your photos Yes So give us a little bit introduction about yourself there pages right well I'm That is an understatement to a bit of cause Like model I've done literally everything honestly, but it's mostly say like makeup But I started tiktok and free lockdown and I like to post like my vlogs and stuff on there. So I've got too many interests So it's just so hard to keep them doing what I mean So I'll do like long so where I'm going and like dark tourism lots of graveyards obviously not the least stereotypical Obviously horror which you think is and art not so much drawing But like making things crafting DIY as you say antiques and just yeah I'm like I've got too many interests and sort of things that I can sort of put together and just do a bit of everything And whereas originally I started sort of doing just the makeup and the cosplay and so now what kind of do just a bit of everything Yeah, so so so basically like a handyman for the alternative shall we say Pretty much great coffee candy man.

Yes You know and like I was thinking about so like the other day and I was going because of how my house isn't stuff It's not finished like that and forever adding to it and creating things and making things and all that kind of stuff And I was like I kind of have my I just just too much and like I don't have a niche money She's chaos. That's my And I know that I know that personally when we went the time out market and just honestly she can she can find the most obscure and It would have a place. She knew exactly where it would go. I think so I'm just going to see behind us when I was with you did I get the you'll see the perfume bottle.

Yeah Free-ordered the picnic set. Oh God. Yeah Cathedral I'm obsessed with cathedrals as well. That's another one to actually like and I never used to boss about like stuff I was like I've made friends with people and because I started posting more of my interests and like You know, I mean friends Yeah, I'm a massive And there's like so many different things that I like and that I've done Isn't that a good thing so it's like you've got that energy waiting thing right you never like to sit down and say I'm gonna have a Boring night in a stuff like that.

Right. What I walk up today. What I'll find a cool graveyard I'll find a cool cathedral or I'll video blog me to ask another to sit like next to the nines So it's always kind of like say and again I'm interested know how did you get started in cosplay as well? Because I know we've had a few cosplays come on the podcast now, but your cosplays.

I'm not gonna say like it's very different Shall we say it's very like your style? There's not many people I can pull off your style like it's absolutely fabulous And I was putting together like the promos stuff for you coming on it was like Looking at the images just everything was a sound he was like trying to think what can I put in what can I guess you off Because everything was like said the quality there's nothing done though or to a bad level Like the taste of always like great there. Well, how did you get started? How did you find yourself in it?

Oh, well, I used to sort of Model like years ago a model for like kill store. I think we had this conversation last time I'm still so I'm like alternative brands like Latex designers all that kind of thing and it's sort of kind of there and the designer was so sponsored She was a sponsor and she was a latex designer Phoenix designed UK and she also comes take orders and so she was kind of the one that was like Oh, well, we'll get there and we did like my vision of like a holoqued and a poison ID And that was such a long time ago So that's how it sort of started and that's when I sort of did it a little bit yet talking literal years ago, I'm trying to think I feel like a Fossil to be honest So you're talking I'm thinking was it to me like ten years ago? Mm-hmm, so it's not out so was it something that you were into before I was it something that you got into through modeling Tiding that you thought oh, this is like phone and like moving like see what you can do Well, what boundaries you can push at the same time. Yeah, I think I always have that sort of interesting dressing up and like When I was younger, I used to be a man.

I don't know if you're my evil I used to be rumoured in and then I used to dress up in the nanos well So she used to have sort of the 1950 style again I feel old but it was kind of always I've always been like an artist in some kind of form and Like dressing up in the makeup and my mom used to buy like matching like eyeshadows and things that I used to stand Like my little piece like this and we just stand in front of the mirror and do one make up together and match and everything and It would be like skincare and things like that So it kind of there's always been some kind of interest in it. Mm-hmm. They're poorer. That's always been something that's been consistent in me life as well And so I'm holding my pen like I've got and I mean like little notes as well Both of the other notes that said don't worry.

Um, not it's quite interesting And as I said with horror being such like a like a like a stay in your life as well I've been like Obviously from like the cosplayers you do you must take a lot of different inspiration from from like Zinaro genre as well So I know probably some more most people that will know you're from is the pinhead one That's like that iconic one that you can see like like like all over like see if you speak all like when you do the search and stuff I will post that until I die. I will annoy just have everyone Michael I just thought it's literally one of me favorites images ever and that was when I did that shoot with them horrifying me It's just literally and that's sort of I've always kind of been associated with pinhead I think he's behind this as well as bits and pieces about the box and everything and so I think I'll always be associated with hell raiser and pinheads That shoots honestly was so fun. Um I remember having the um the hell raiser and the music theme and I was just like a little trilik did excited The bucket of loads and just pouring it at the end that was just I couldn't see Um, well, that was just amazing so I will continue to post them and do them into them and like I think I need someone was Seeing the other day asking if I did the t-shirts and which I should probably start doing that I want a t-shirt. I want a key ring I just want to be out of my house.

Yeah I know because honestly like I say pinhead is obviously one of my favorites. I would show you well I probably posted the photo and I've got the big photo I'm on my arm like I finished up just recently and was started that like two years ago So I'll be on now as well So have you got any like new coders or new air cosplayers or anything that you've got lined up or anything that you've got in the works? I have um, I won't mention them just in case there's a couple of things that I'm sort of it's time in Honestly like at the minute I've tried to sort of juggle everything It's really difficult and I know like on sort of October and I did quite a few I did like the demo ball game That was the most confusing thing I've ever seen it was beautiful but scary at the same time I was like I don't know what that should be attracted to this or just be terrified and run away from it at the same time That's what I love that's what I kind of like play on Is it is it sexy is it beautiful is it terrifying or is it all of them together and I think that's kind of just me Because like yeah Have you seen regular yes, right? that honestly that is literally me like sort of The horror the at the glamour in horror monsters and things like that So it kind of well for example and like tonight.

I've done. I don't know if you can say yet. I'm not getting close I've got like a little ghost face. This one's deceased because it doesn't match Try and have like Match things inspired by things and just throw them all again and have like a casual soft when look yeah No, no, it's like doing things that look like look like where you can't do not obvious type things So if you look a little bit long you can say oh I can see the influences and the references It's like kind of like layers upon layers and but I know you said about like you see your cosplay and stuff like that Because with the attention you probably get from it as well and all it's good publicity So you have you had like bad experiences from people like with the cosplay how it's gone or yeah I'm not going to go deep or dark read it It's a touch and without consent mostly I won't go too much about like the pinhead because I think people seem to think that latex and boobs mean Content and that yeah, you're okay putting yourself in that position so therefore it's okay for me to go and Be feely exactly it's all about like the boundaries, you know like obviously I've got my friends, you know and if someone asks is or you know, whatever But it's what people sort of come out with no answer trying to grab your things like that No, no definitely I know when we had the coven girls on they said something similar as well It's like just when you because you're in an outfit or in a place and all they said some of the bigger cons that can be a little bit more intimidating and stuff I also it's it's not a nice experience as well, especially like I said It's an art form rather than anything else especially with the way like your makeup comes across as well And I wanted I know this is gonna sound so interesting because I thought some people would be one bring up I wanted to talk about your makeup a little bit more because I know you've got some exciting news when it comes to your makeup You've got some classes coming soon, haven't you?

Yes, so I'm like the day Well done Like the 27th of May basically I'm doing like a workshop with the alternate model of the air competition I don't know how much it is. Yeah, yeah Or because of you you did it you've done it before. Yes. I'm actually so I was not funny story But like that's what's kind of started as off back in 2012 maybe from 2011 and I sort of ended up that competition I've done it a few times just it was just kind of for the you know like the phone and experience So I'm just like a few of them and that's sort of the sort of modeling back in the day Then I would like do photography with my friends stuff Then that alternate one of the air I did a workshop with them last year as well So basically it's just a chance to sort of like talk about like products that I use products that I recommend So I'm not sure what kind of well actually no online.

I do know what kind of I'm going for that You can tell it's the last minute so the last time it was kind of like my everyday like Gothic kind of look and I'm talking about it as well, but your every day Gothic look isn't just every day On pictures TikTok she is flawless in every single aspect. So you really are Thank you. But honestly that is just right Obviously this right like social media is about a fucking 10% of well, maybe 20 so like When you sort of dressing up in whatever like it takes about an hour an hour and a half something like that So to sort of get to that point. Yeah, I'm sure quite a lot you know what I mean It's not I look like a fucking gremlin boss this time No And it's just been a human that's you know me and like I just I looked at myself and remember the day now was laughing Because we had we had was just like What's that character off the Grinchman?

I was looking at you with a little baby Grinch Now now you've just set yourself up now That's a challenge for you for the next Christmas time you've got to do yourself on the Grinch now I've done it. Yes. Yes. It was a go literally do you know what it is?

I did that one back in I think 2018 and I Drown some funny looks like I'm I don't know how I'm in the old place I don't know how about people still come to the door. I was dressed as a skinless fan from hell with a once Oh my god, I was out on my balcony Like just sitting there casually no skin Well, I actually I had a sneaky peak of that photo on Instagram everything I had a sneak peek back through Instagram right the way back to the beginning holy shit pages You're the fucking evolution of your makeup skills. It's just it's unreal But then you just it's like a whole different level by the time you get to today you just you just I just fucking look I was like sure and I'm like oh good at man You know you so I'm still forever learning sometimes when I say like all photos are like for a cringe because I'm like no and like I'm from the Fringe this makeup like further in the future like it just it just shows that you're so improving but thank you for like saying that because um, you know, it's nice to sort of See like for people to say that I guess no, I think I think at times as well I think with social media and just in life in general. It's too easy to tear people down So I think it's it's one of the things where you can say something nice to someone why don't you why don't you try and build them up?

Yeah, yeah, if I see who ever it is in the street like say like um if there's A man woman who ever like if they're wearing something even if it's not my style like appreciate other styles and aesthetics And it always like lifts them and I don't just say it's just you know I don't say what I will mean like you can say people left, you know faces like up and like I have no bad Dang it up and someone's like oh, I think it was really good or like you look at me Whatever it's always like me. Yeah, especially when it's from me personally. I like it But I went well it's a couple of times when it's like a woman or like someone like from the queer community. I'm like I wish I got three months and I can't do it because I was on a just a Drag up in Newcastle addresses of the velvet snatch I used to watch them on YouTube used to have like honest They have them on a Sunday night and then Monday morning They would have the clips up on YouTube and the most grainy as shit out like if you could not make out anything But I still fucking live for it.

Oh, honestly like I'm So yeah, like it's nice to sort of say different styles of things Especially drag. I think I'm with repuls drag race now and Dracula like I used to like them about the same But I think I have to say that's right now for me. Dracula is brutal Some of the stuff that I have to do but like it's the looks I'm always like inspired by what they're doing and I just I've been re-watching them can you tell? I started watching them the other end a couple of months ago And they were just absolutely like this she is and there's bitchy and then there's them queens and they are fucking brutal with each other Yeah, do nothing with like drag race and RuPaul now We're just inundated with too much of it because before you used to look forward to like page season and say what's good?

Well now you've got you kid drag out you've got Canada drag out all you've got drag race Sorry, you've got Holland then you've got you Kia versus the world's then you got all stars And it's like this I think this is the first time in a while We've actually got a little pause between drag race now So I'm kind of missing it now because I haven't had it for a few like a month or so But when I was a little bit dragged out I'm not gonna lie. Yeah, I totally get what you mean Yeah, it was just over-exaggeration of it was just too much But it too much of the same thing of the same queens of the same Like challenges and that not just I don't watch it anymore I started watching the new season and I even pinched my sister's Wow my sister has a subscription to Wow presents And I even pinched that just watch it and I just I can't keep up with it It just it just feels samey samey samey like there's no more it doesn't feel like there's any change at the moment So until there's like a big massive revolution, I will be missing that one out Yeah, I think it's like I feel like after season seven or something maybe or maybe eight. Yeah, I Don't know what like season four season six seven and eight I think and then I have my favorites And then I don't know I just I've seen every single one like I still used to watch it like religious. See what I think I think the youngest folder for us because no queens being better than the younger sits She's doing the interviews at the moment What is it?

It's like a like a city down interview with all the queens and each just fucking hilarious Yeah She was sitting one week with their crocs on because she told everyone that she had damn foot surgery that she was making I think I'm then then silky came on and said where's your crocs at? Just going back to your workshop pages do you do like do you I know you take a processing Do you show people your actual process do you give me secrets? Yes? I do what my hands look secrets The last one I did it's like I'll say I've got my friends Jen modeling and so the last time I was just so I think I've run out we'll run out of time because I was on the stage and obviously There's like the catwalk tips and things as well and like the photo shoot happening So I had to do sort of like half of it is just to show like the difference, you know Like that makeup can do something and so basically I show like what kind of brushes I use Products how I do things like I say the last time it was my generic like drippy black paint kind of This time I've got something else in mind, but I won't say so I promise it's gonna be sort of It'll still be gothic, but it'll be kind of Something with a twist Kind of like it's kind of it's hard to sort of my brains like constantly full of ideas Find a lot of creative things like things like say with me.

It's kind of I've always like since I started this project and God forbid I wish I didn't Like 15 plates spinning like saying what's the next step? What can you do? What what because you don't want to ever be standing still or be still or seem to be still Be content. I think the contents the wrong word you is I think that's the thing you've always got to strive to be better or do better or to make things better But I know with like see your type of industry It is a hard thing to do to keep on top because it's constantly evolving.

There's constantly new techniques Just I said with before used to be just like the big famous ones But now with the internet and tiktok and YouTube you've got all these new rising people like yourself bringing their techniques learn different things you and Not everyone is as like I said with yourself being quite as sharing and giving out techniques as well A lot of people do have them like close-hearted secrets, so it's quite inspiring I've even thought like again just like what you're talking about that I don't know what you said your friend Jen models for you I've even thought doing like a like a like a kind of like a competition like someone like you can pick out and have them be like a Model like a special thing Yeah, like together sometimes I will post like various things and like if I need a model for exercise ed And like to be honest Yeah, like how do you think about that lady and like do them own workshops as in like maybe not just with like alternate model? Yeah, a as a like a brand if I think yeah Yeah, like pictures and spaces around yeah Yeah, so like I say but I think I think I can use people because I do dance around a lot like I kind of just stick to just like I say the niche thing I can't I can't reach down everyone's like oh I should be shown and like I think nowadays especially with like the rise of Social media and while constantly on my phones. Um, well, I try not to but that's yeah Everyone's attention spans really shit now Yeah, so people kind of unfollow if you're not doing the same constant thing if you don't post enough if you post too much So it's very fickle and a very fast pace and like I say it's just sort of Kind of niche down. I just know and yeah, I know and all but you tiktoks are absolutely fantastic And I love most about it is that it's all hundred percent you like I know you and then it's like genuinely you Well, I just think I love it.

I love everyone gets to see it Yeah, no cuz I'm like like I say like I was saying before about I was a 10 20% online like I am this kid I can realize like you know what I mean, um, but I feel like do have all different kind of personalities as well. Yeah Jen's just joined the chat by the way Yeah Missy real missy real tube. I've said a nice thing. I've been on the opposite end of a peaches compliment and it made my dear Jen has joined the crew Watches Like I can't see so like I can't see the Some I think they're important, but there are some Because I was trying to sort of tell people I know we started a little bit later than I thought but Get a course it but I don't know the algorithm as well like a minute like Yeah, it's just changed a lot of things like we used to like an everyone target that's not even working at the moment So it's like they what we find especially with the podcast.

It's basically we've got regulars that watch from time to time And we do love years even though I'm like I'm mean tears and be nasty There's what is like that you bitches, um, but um it makes it kind of residual watches I can watch during the week or watching the book thing so it does pay for no the life ones is just because we like to do it live I think it's it's very live. Yeah, it's so don't feel like you're doing it scripted or anything can happen That's why I wanted your own as well to make it is like it would interesting Well, I don't you have meaning But I'm really sensitive to like coffee like caffeine. I still have it But I was like trying to have more to try and like sort of more throughout the day Um, and try to have enough like on the sofa with the car like free o'clock or something I just me brain was just like oh like it's constantly screaming ideas and like never the time I can't even get to just like the so many unfinished projects and like that's annoying thing about being creative Yeah, I was very much like that though when I was younger because I could never finish anything I would always get obsessive over things. This is the first project I've literally just sat down and write we're gonna keep it's I'm gonna keep on doing it and work out what works What doesn't work and um like it's like a second job now.

I'm not gonna laugh It is because he does do a lot of work. Can I just ask pages? How long did it take you to do your eyes tonight? Oh cool makeup.

Um probably an hour actually I do a bit of extreme close up. Sorry about this I'm sorry So like I said before I think um well little go face this one's like just seems to think but yeah Yeah All like makeup That's impressive because most classes like sorry generalizing them most people I know When I do the makeup, but like if I'm trying to get my wife to go out for something to eat I'll go out in the morning. It's she normally gets up at 10 or eight o'clock. I'm not out by 11 12.

I mean We're not out by 11 or 12. It's not only one two o'clock. So even though she looks beautiful That as well like um I just because I have things that I need to do like so every morning I have this routine of like I have to sit and have a good team before I do anything To be tea the morning and like just sit there and like process being awake like if I'm doing makeup or whatever and work on things um I have to sort of do things in stages and like um Like I say tonight. I did my makeup quite late.

So it can it depends what kind of look this kind of What kind of might every day ish kind of vibe? Um it takes about an hour sometimes an hour and a half Maybe but like cosplay it's gonna be anything anything from 10 well pinheads was like 10 hours 10 hours Yeah I'm doing it again for the chef yokon. I should have no I'm like At all at smart. Um, I think for the con last time I think it was about nine hours getting ready, but then the shoot I'm sure it was about 10 11 hours like with the photos as well and then a few years back.

I did like um You've probably seen it. I did a pinhead with like blonde white hair and like the pins and stuff. Oh, yeah And that's they'll talk about six hours or something. So it's it depends on what I'm talking Um the demi-ball game.

Oh my god. That's how I was sick of tea by the end of it like It was just that was two full of them before. I mean that was like what you do it Because he hasn't seen stranger things or right. I was trying like show him and put him obsessed with strange things as well And um, I was like trying to see it's demi-ball game He thought was just a flower like a poisonous flower that I mean It does tend to like say that the blossoms but like that mustn't mustn't mustn't So I'm just laughing at the cat because the cats went to the screen to the news as well.

Um There's diner but um Because that mustn't have been comfortable to wear as well for the like the demi-going head It was um like I said, I just had the idea that I wanted to sort of be a sexy demi-ball game So like late as you do issues because like again, it's that playing with the horror and like horrific side But then like is it is it is it is it beautiful? Is it like terrifying at the same time and um, I shot it with Matt and um Like it was I had a big shoes on and I swear like and if he had any hold on it was I would have been on the arse Literally I thought I was like really because where we're shooting it was unstable like um round and everything So yeah, that was um, that was dangerous. Well, I had a way like sort of um Because it was just like a mask that I made it so um I had like put a black like t-shirt over my head I feel like I couldn't say couldn't bring like I feel though like that area in because that's a little bit It's like a matter of the elastic couldn't So probably dying for your art there, but I should be so far for your art and like I don't I'm just I'm just insane I think like I just I don't know. Yeah, it's not insane at all.

It's just being passionate and non-creative That's the thing. It's like there's a salute. There's a way of doing it But I'm finding your own way and working things out as well. So it's definitely not insane I know it's one of them things you don't like Like I said people saying it's harder put the words in in place, but it's not many people could do what you're doing That's that's probably like the best compliment I can make I feel like I don't know I never seen see it as I don't know I don't know because I think so many amazing people like on TikTok especially Um, someone popped up on my previous day I can't remember the name, but I was sitting there like gosh, man Like at the time they were like I'm glad to find the name, but I can't remember the name But honestly, I was like, oh my god.

It was insane. I just like My creativity comes just from words. I can write that's about as best I can do That's a bit of all like when it comes to actual physical creativity Like my fingers just go to to to mince because the minute it's just like I could think of so many ideas of what I would want to do And then I'd be like, I have no idea how to execute it Yeah, how do you go? How do you think you said one day I want to be a demogorgon and this is how I'm going to execute it I just have yeah, like that to be honest that I just like I was like, okay How am I going to do it?

And sometimes I do struggle with um like how I'm going to do something so like Sometimes I'll have like an idea and then I'll write it down what it is and then sometimes I'll do it and I'm like It didn't mean without very good. Um, or I do something sort of Off the bat like random and it turns out the best and like let's say with a demogorgon I think I just kind of I don't know what I just kind of Was we gonna That's a thing though. There's no plan. There's no like set guide to say this is how to be a demogorgon This is how to put it together.

It's like I just said trial and error. This is work. I'll just bring a black tissue I'll me head I'll stick some things on here I can't imagine there's a lot of youtube channels that are dedicated to the cosplay making of a demogorgon Yeah, but I've never looked because I don't um, I don't have like youtube as in post-selling stuff Um, um, I don't know. I think doing physical tutorials Um, sorry video tutorials.

I've done a couple and I've done like the odd little snippet on ticker or something If I'm like doing a get ready with me, honestly, they're so fucking draining I'm just kind of do it. Um, maybe in the future, but like I just find it like because I make mistakes constantly Um and try to sort of manage that. Um, it's absolutely nightmare So like if I just have like a workshop time Like coming up like the one I make coming up. It's an hour and I know it's like the fixed hour And that'll be it.

I'll not be if I do make mistakes. It's yeah, but I feel like the more mistakes I make The just keep like tumbling and I'm like having the off like But no, but that's the thing It's one them situations where it might not work for you like because you put not much pressure on the video because you can go back through But doing like I say a lot of workshop where you're in front of people and you've got to just roll with it There's a mistake. It's like great It's I mean a mistake but then Sean people how to rectify that mistake or what you can turn that mistake into um, I think as you said If you were gonna do like the thing maybe like I say as you do now like a live Workshop so it's where it's not like say where oh, it's like oh, you can't go back and do a redo with something I used to do sort of like live videos like on facebook. I think and like I don't think I've even done a live on like instagram or tik tok yet like I don't know what just um I like I said I was in the habit of doing them and I know I definitely definitely did live on um Facebook I actually I might either want the instagram when we did pinhead with horrifying me like that was Definitely your life like not the process like the like sneak peeks or thing, but I don't know I just haven't really got around to doing them.

I mean I should um it's just like especially because There will be a lot of people like interest and just as he said because Not a blow smoke will be asked. There's not many people doing stuff Like you're doing but to the scallop or the level that you're doing as well. That's actually like it's I feel like there's some like thank you um I feel like there's I feel like it's kind of oversaturated as well. Um with well possibly that's been happening for years and stuff like that But like you're talking to people that are doing a podcast when that's probably the most oversaturated But The reason why we do it's a little bit like a therapy for us as well We get to meet curling and dressing people that's that's being like one of joys like the other week by the wrestler on And he thought about his wrestling promotion.

That was such an interesting conversation I was like talking to loads of different like people from like I say um TikTok has been grateful like sort of um making friends um like In a friend's and I'm gonna need a couple of them soon so All the organs that all break your heart. That's all I know Well, I was gonna say like they really sort of we met through uh, was it Facebook? Yeah, near you North. Yeah Because I'm being there.

I think I was one of the first few people in there or something Probably the first one you first started it and then I feel like me and Sammy were talking on Facebook like Actually, Sammy would have stopped you don't worry. It's me would have been in the background After the charity podcast and we've not stopped talking since It's like it just you know what happens in them like I know we've been trying to need up sort of recently and things But I know we're sort of schedule And it's me it's yes, me sisters tendu tomorrow and everything all I'm going to be early so we had dick one seat at the day. Yes Talking about making up though as well because we are all going to be making up soon. Yes So yes, we are doing their first where for some reason the vast host of constantly competition so Unfortunate pictures.

We can't give any special treatments. So I'm just gonna go and um my friends are coming down to visit. Well, I think this year they're gonna have I think uh I think it's uh what's called it's uh, just is a lot of bots Um The other one I can't remember the name now one will be one will be he's gonna be there Um, the DeLorean's gonna be there. I think Um, also um 25 from shock shark that's gonna be there. Oh my god Um, I think the giant actually is your age The guy who plays the giant in look game of thrones is gonna be there. Um, so I think I think last year the had echo one So I don't know if the echo one's gonna return.

Um, but yeah, it's it's kind of like a smaller con But it's like say the cosplays and everything was but there's a game in area up the top where people go and play like the old retro games But no, it makes it's got all the toys and stuff like that as well But they've got like a little boot where you can get pictures dating while the gremlins and stuff Yeah, that's all gremlins all the gremlins as well like And I can relate to the actual thing when I'm like Like yeah, like um, what's it's nerd fest, isn't it? Yeah, that's correct. Yes. Yeah, like like I say I'm just gonna be going with my friends.

Um, and we're just gonna do what I didn't cosplay. Um, I'm not gonna say what it is yet It's not it's nothing like spectacular for my like it's not like a you know She says that she'll roll in No, they like just appear and all this like walking and they just walk so from it I didn't want to get too dressed up I'm not gonna give her a hint now because she keeps on mentioning gremlins. Is it greta? Oh, that would be good.

I've never actually done gratin. Yeah, I've done quite a lot of characters Like I say it's been a few years. Um, I've done so many I've dressed as men before done like gender like messing with I did Is it cald roko? Yes, you did How do you want that?

Don't change the wrong way, but I think you would pull off a really good furry freddy mercury Yes, yes, actually actually did I do a friendly or a pinhead to a freddy mercury with a hoover? Right It was um, I was at the con and when my friends I was in it who house and um, I was dressed as pinheads And um, I had took like all the latex off But I still had all the pins in the ball cap and everything on but I had a pair of pink swimming horse lippers on and I think I had like a dressing gown and a pink night You know, I brought it as like from a Hawaiian vibes and um, what I want to break free on and I just got the vat I was getting a bit like putting half hour So You're not taking part in the in the actual cause clear competition at nerd first So I might actually stay on the one side for a little bit to help us with a judging with you being a pro Uh, that could be a thing. So you can you can be more I don't mind.

Yeah, that would be cool. Um, yeah, that's a good idea actually because like I said, it might not be like it's just It'll be like low key that if I can get it sorted out in time because I need a sort of I need a sewing machine So if anyone is watching and wants to donate a sewing machine to patures Um, not a fossil and maybe some green tea and all that sort of machine Do you don't want the one that goes like the headroom That one that would match in here though. It really would like the golden ever like the golden the copper with like the black table Yes, it was Yeah, I need one that works though. Unfortunately, because it wasn't literally have it my dad was actually um Looking for him.

I said, you know, the gramophone ones like yeah, no Not a gramophone Um, like an old fashioned one and I didn't think he got one in the end but like he sort of likes lots of every time he comes Always like he's looking at the same car anything else new and he's like um, you got too much and yeah So I'm like no having to smack someone At least he says he got too much my dad comes in and looks at my collection and goes well That just looked really bad I mean mum mum's going it's any hobbyist you know, but no, come on. What about it? You went he kind of have Harry Potter and game with Ron's on the same shelf It's two different it's two different fantasies Like I say, yeah Because I am just like it's um, it's um, it's the horror but I am thinking about separating some of it like um You know, obviously in the back wall. I don't know how much of the wall you can take because I'm looking at it and I don't like it We can see quite a bit like I could see the fact that uh right in the top right hand corner of my screen Letting leather face.

I want to say it's leather face. Yes. I can just see the lips. I just see the lips This is one of my favorites.

Um, I love it. He's so cute man He's adorable. He's always understood I thought I thought like an anti-coma like um next to him as well in the tie as well because I've I've actually Dressed up is I've done a female pretty lady leather face So I think it makes you just went past her as you've just mentioned it as well Yes, look a bitch. Um, yeah, like um pretty lady.

I've got obviously my own my ears because you know See Michael the OG one so I've got like a corner that see creature right underneath my girl. Yes Like so it's kind of just scattered around but like I feel like I've gone a bit more over the top with like um Friffing like cherry jobs and marking things and picking up things that my dead man would have Like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Me stuff that nobody wants It's almost like that they're like the woman from labyrinth ledges Oh, they have this my little brain Charlie I love it I can't remember that So that's every watching I haven't seen it for years It is really good. So is it safe to say that pinhead or hella razor is your favorite horror? Well, this is I always joking.

I say this is the worst question to ask me Like what is my favorite horror because I love so many and like obviously I mean hell raised this obviously on the list um, Halloween franchise hell raised um Frighted the name. I love like the universal um monsters creature on that good. I was crying my eyes out the other day because Um, you passed away didn't he? Um, he did It was the one who because there was two So there's the this creature on on land and this creature under the sea So the beautiful sequence that you see where creature is swimming and interested in that's him and yeah, he passed away I think you think I live in Cas number.

I know honestly I was crying about his house It's just it is because I've got like I think I'm emotionally attached to like monsters And I see them as like comfort monsters. I I drove about to say that like a comfort monster or something Like um because I grew up with them and like yeah No, no, you would always get on with the like though. Let's guess we're having from step from the castle coven uh gaming Um, we're that podcast took a daughter and that we wouldn't wear an expecting Yeah Well, they've got this game where the top of it's like um, I can't remember which one was called but the premises the top of which monsters Do it for me? Someone in my house So the premise of the game that they'll pick a monster and like I've a discussion whether if they would fuck it or not So that was um, there's our shall we say Yeah, yeah, so they were into the scaly ones I thought well would be nice to like see you get to see them once a month and you don't have to really get too much attached to it I think All I can hear is Yes, um, look at that mumblepiece.

I've done a couple of visions like a few years ago now Um, and like I'll just love the aesthetic and I love like the gold on some of the sco's throat I'm like yes, I do that is probably one of my favorite of yours But the most recent one is probably me favorite The white white suits and the bird oh my god, I forgot like I forgot that I've done all this stuff, you know So many characters I tend to sort of just focus on like um doing the makeup aspect of it I don't necessarily always take them to a convention. I'll do it in the house Um, I've done like I said, I've done the like I've just it was meant I went for um Halloween Um, made a couple of my friends. Did you know they're bang ghosts? Yeah, I did that version and um I had to buy like um Like a bad year shirt to try and make it look like I didn't have a chest which was really difficult Because they had something difficult to hide them very but I didn't want to make that comment So yeah, I was dressed I was dressed as um pappa and um my friends were the ghouls and um The goolets whatever you want to call them and I remember that night.

Um, I would did like a video, you know the swear hammer video Where it's kind of like all green and like flashlights and stuff Yeah, basically put like a little tip-talk together and think anything of it and I'm tagged ghost And I was screaming because I liked it and I shared on the story. I was fucking screaming Oh my gosh That's like kind of comedo Jesus moment type things in I was just so like what it was amazing. Um, just just ask a poet as well Cause I know you've mentioned a few times like if you're dressed as men have you ever done any makeup on any men like dragons stuff like that? Like dress them up.

Oh, yeah, um I've been doing for a while though. Um, I've definitely done a couple of cultural roles on men like obviously um I've done like male to female kind of like dragging um, yeah, not recently Um, try to think mostly just I'm not actually don't worry. I'm not volunteering myself. I don't think I could pull it off Um, but it'll be interesting like say no one like saying that aspect of doing because I know it sounds strange about a man's face and a family says it does flow differently and do different things So it's just how it would work typing It depends on the outcome and it depends kind of like what you want with it if it was someone who um, like say I've had like a couple of trans people who want to do it.

So like um, they might want to So it depends on the facial structure that might want to stuff in the features or they might want to sort of I don't actually hope to it's really until I think somebody, um, Or another one. Some people want to be a bit more like um, drag some people want to be a bit more soft Um, just kind of thing and it's just like looking at the face and I'm going to see what inspires you or what where it takes you typing. Yeah, what they're like expectations are sort of thing. Um So here's going to be a challenge for you as well.

So the next time you get Sami, I'm going to ask you to do Sami's makeup Oh my god, I would love you to do my makeup. You know what I would love you to do my makeup. What kind of vibe would you like? This chair is a fucking antique.

So I have I have hooded eyelids, which are the fucking they're the worst. They're absolute worst Because your eyes look huge and my muscles are Yeah, that's what I need. That's what I need to learn. I need to know what how to make my eyes look bigger because at the moment they're tiny And one is not the same shape as the other.

No, no honestly like um, I've got like a Like the different variants of my hooded eyes. So like I should say mine's like a slight of an eye But I work with around it. I work with what I've got on myself personally, but like for you for example, um, yeah, no problem Like it would depend. I mean if you wanted like because I like to do extreme kind of stuff.

I'm like I find it difficult to do so. Yeah, I've been doing like school ball with this. Yeah, so here's an idea again This is just me coming up off the cuff there. So how is the fuck off if he's not over this?

I want you to tell me how to improve or help me with my eyes Yeah, like sort of um working with like what you have and like how the work and understand it.

Uh-huh. Yeah, because honestly like um We all have my tick tock. Um, you'll see I will completely different with that makeup. I mean everyone does actual point because I wouldn't spend all this money to look like I can sit in what I like Like and I do like everyone looks completely different But I feel like um on my tick drop this this one's our model makeup on and then I transform into that You know that level transition day when you click your fingers or whatever.

Yeah, like I do look different Um, and it's looking at like what you have and like working with what you've got and like Figuring out kind of like what your vibe is or your style. Yeah, but I think that's like the important thing I don't think people realize like it's It's it's simply put but I was a hard thing is to work out your vibe or what kind of like suit you have so I don't know So I think So now you're gonna say something all dressed up to say for an impressive Day I felt like oh just shit and I think it was a sad day or something It's sad to me. I was going to work and I felt like I'm gonna shit now say you know what I'm gonna be far. I'm gonna go put some makeup on and I would never normally do this if I'm going from home I would look like how I did on last night's podcast for Game of Thrones absolute fucking state I look honestly as the time went on my eyes were getting smaller and smaller.

I was that tired But I thought I'm gonna start and then when I put the makeup on and I'm gonna be something I was like Like I feel so much better and even I'm gonna shock you was like, oh where you where you going? I was like nowhere, but I need to start getting in the habit of doing this I don't think you're having an affair. I'm saying wait, you're going like a bunch of you got no one absolutely no one I was just exactly I'm gonna run the Hoover over I just it just made us feel so much better and for what half an hour in a morning just just Slap some face on so yeah, I'm trying to get more in the habit of doing it. Yeah, like it's um I mean, I wish I just took off and I get fucking my heart now is like just smacked on like I see like um, like I say I don't wear makeup all the time like um Some days I just don't have the capacity of the energy to do it.

Um, so it's quite it's like trying to fit in all that and um, I'll wear like completely nothing. I can't just go. I'll put like a bit of mascara on It has to be like the whole lot or nothing. Yeah, I'll just go like I'll just put a little bit on but um, yeah It's just finding what like like with yourself.

So I mean like if you wanted um To sort of mess around with just like the eyes or something, um, especially if it takes half an hour Well, we'll try we'll do in a swap. We'll give like full rain. I wish we could blindfold some people that's not gonna work I need the eyes for that. Yeah, so No, if you just know mirrors don't show us any mirrors don't show us a reflection.

Yeah And then honestly just go for it. I'm about it. That could be interesting one. So coming up with ideas now collaborations.

I don't look at them because um A lot of the time I feel like people stuff up people here is I like and then I feel like I like that thing it's kind of the opposite can kind of go two ways But literally I seen screen five last night and I don't know how it took us that long to watch it or why or I don't know. I just didn't get around to it and I realized it's been a yes since it's been released and I'm like Right what's going on? And then I watched it obviously no spoilers.

I'm not a person But um, I was screaming a shout in my teddy and I was crying. I just saw many emotions coming out I was literally shouting at the screen. I just all I got was a message just Jui One word, Jui and I was like, yeah, I mean, it's been over a year that one has been over a year If you've not seen it, I'm sorry, but it was the fact that I messaged it back and said, how have you gone for you? That's like I'm a fucking ninja I have a bad guy because I don't like um, I don't expect a lot of time on social media.

Um, um, How do you do that? It's like I'll post so um But then sometimes I will post for ages because yeah Like it's been going on or whatever. Like I just it looks it might look like I want to I can't see but like I feel like I go for phases of like Signing out quite a lot and like It's more burst I think because I'm not like if you're posting the group we'll get like a few weeks of post from pages And then we'll not hear you from here for a while then like I'm very much that kind of is that I'm a bit of um, what's the word? A homist in a way?

Therapy therapy talk because I love trying to you know learn things and improve things like that I think we all like learn and improve ourselves because yeah So I'm trying to think cats dogs our ghosts as well like And um there's this guy called Roger clean that he's called and it's just so awesome Like I don't even know how he started he just he just sings with songs and he's just he's so like expressive And um he was singing who was it because I kept sending it to let me friend Jen and I'll ship up down before and um He was singing. Oh that song. It's a pop song. I'm not really in the pop as much um Oh What he said he's like There's a lot of things when it comes to convalegal TV shows and you'll see it and I know a lot of people like the TikTok Because I know you were talking about screen before so you watched the whole screen five and all that's to be honest It did get a lot of hits when it first came out So you really enjoyed it I was on the fucking edge of the sofa screaming and shouting so that to get that kind of reaction That's when I know it's a good movie um for myself anyway, but I know like I think especially these days I think everything's being done.

There's that many books and stuff like that and I think people like to sort of like all their reviews sometimes as well like definitely it's one of them things people forget that movies are there just to be enjoyed and think All the got changed things and that thing that sometimes gets lost on a lot of people as well We watched uh, what was it the Rob Zombie's Munsters? It's actually it's okay We had every expectation of actually doing our first review where we all just went because we don't want to make the shit on things You know, there's a lot of there's a lot of hard work going goes into everything and we do not get to get shit on anyone But we honestly thought that that would be the first review where we'd be like And it really wasn't like we all found something that we kind of took away from it that we enjoyed It's like um, I don't know like um I tell you one thing that I was angry at like um halloween that the I'm not gonna pull up away Where I went I saw that name as well. It was the last Usually I've like I seen it um it was like the last week of the show and something and um I went on because I like wanted to take myself a little Day um and I was like right on the tip of the day, you know dress up cute more like Like a little um With its slushes and pop whatever I'm doing and I'll watch it by myself and I had the whole cinema myself and I was like Buzzing this is amazing and then um I just was fucking literally shouting. They're just gonna really piss off I was like why have they done this like and I was just gonna put my angry but then like Halloween kills people like that without What Halloween kills?

No, no I thought Halloween kills was a good it was a good middle movie That's the thing it wasn't a total movie was I kind of like saying this is where the store was gone Well, what we thought was gone and then we got Halloween ends and let's see it just ended Evil didn't die that night My father I remember evil taste like was an evil taste tonight Um, what's who's the actor? What is him? Uh, he was um think he was out of weird science and the breakfast club. Connie's name now Who?

That's cool because I get a little I think it's nice when people share stuff that you know, I think it's lovely that you find Michael He does the stuff with a little bit harder than me.

Um, I see him. He does a lot of cosplays at different events. Yeah. Yeah.

Um, so Yeah, I mean, we just had a we just had laughs to be honest. I was like that night It was kind of you know when something's like not planned in like last minute And I wanted the best night. I was talking about it to him yesterday. It was just so I don't know what's happening with the fun and um, I don't know just like last minute things like that.

It just makes you But it's a bit more like We're talking about recent films that you've seen so there's been any recent horror films that you've really enjoyed lately. Um Malignant Um, um, it was sort of the wall like I mean, yeah, but you can tell it's um, I really like that actually Together is I have I've kind of been stuck in my ways and I've been watching like loads of old rewatching old ones again because I'm that I'm trying to think I'm stuck in a soldier like um, um, um, dario I hate pronouncing people's names. I love seeing his name dario dinner I don't want to like pronounce it wrong because I don't know I don't know. I don't know if I know how to say it Otherwise I will butcher somebody's name.

Yeah, I'm really bad with like pronunciations, especially if it's like um, Italian or something like that and I don't want to sort of like I don't want to like defend someone else. Oh, don't worry Like say we get names wrong all the time. Don't worry But don't know anyone else gonna say if you haven't seen it recently like I always recommend it when we talk about things black phone It was if you like that if you like core stories. It's a very nice.

Well, not a nice core story But it's a very well done go so It's a very well put together Yeah, just a go story, but there's another one I think you'd like as well. Um, I don't know Generally don't know how you feel about a whole ex Yeah, I like that. Yeah, did you see it? Yeah, I really liked it that really stuck with this that film I can't watch pearl though.

It's not good The makeup is really good in that actually. Yes, absolutely spectacular But the whole cat is all the whole cast pretty but I am I am such on a general taker High at the moment. There's the girl can't even run for us. Oh, I know what I love I love when she obviously You've been very reluctant to watch that though.

I just I don't know every other post was um the the Wednesday dance The songs the great songs like the google mocha and everything and cramps and I just was like what I was scared really not like every fucking thing I was like, you know what it is. I'm just gonna watch it because I've seen it But usually I don't I'll wait a while until the night dies down. I did that with um, stranger things It took his um went to strange things from about 2016. It took us at least a couple years It was the hype of um, stranger things for and then when I died down a little bit I was right right I'm watching it and I was obsessed who binge watched it literally love it so much But like it does take us a while to watch things and um Wednesday.

I just I loved it. Um, I don't know what you think of it You've enjoyed it. Yeah Couldn't use a little bit less CGI, but that's just like a preference to most things But no, I thought it was done really well now. I know I did set you a task before you came on today So to me any told us off you said that's the worst thing I could have done the f done via I did ask you to name your top five horror movies Fuck sake I can't do it John Like I kind of said a little bit before didn't work.

Um I just there's just so many um again that it's hard to just name but obviously hell raise up obviously um The Halloween I've said this before to the Halloween um, I was I was gonna throw in I'll throw in the horror fantasy because um Um, uh, crimson peak Like really Yes, I love it. I look aesthetically, it's it's it's beautiful And I can totally get I can totally get why you would want why you would love that aesthetic vibe, but the story for me was so I couldn't get behind this. Maybe some sort of like um I don't know if the aesthetic might have sort of Swaging but does it? No, I thought it was beautiful.

Like I like the story. I like the tale. I thought the acting in a minute was tremendous And it was spooky enough where you felt uncomfortable at times as well. So I'm like, I need to be watching again It's been a while since I've seen it.

Yeah, and uh, what's his name? Doug Jones? Like I call him the creature man. Um, because they're like I call him Doug Bradley Because I can never get his name right.

He did the he did the he did the he's a contortionist Contortionist and he's he's done a lot of um, why did um, he'll man And for what I think he did the phone is actually um There's a lot of Delta Taurus and he was a like here in Elboy and stuff like that What I kept when he I watched the shape of order recently and it's so beautiful And that I can totally get behind that monster Like I could totally see me bang on that monster. Um, when the cabinets were curious. Did you swatch that? Oh, I was obsessed with something. Yeah, the only thing I didn't enjoy was the last episode Well, the last episode left on a bit of a damn squid, but some of them the rap episode was amazing Yeah, like you want to watch them.

Oh, you should really honestly like um, then try I think I can't really name a favorite. I kind of like this one in the crock member Which one that you know the cream one was? You know what that lotion carry on? Yes, I was and Oh, isn't it?

Isn't like time like zone episode. It's like it's all standalone episodes But they're all taking from a horror. I think there's a lot of Lovecraft in there as well. Yeah, I'm in the history Lovecraft I totally appreciate him more as an adult Yeah, it was quite a lot of um, it's like a bit of a mixture like um, you see, I'm probably not selling it well The lotion thing I think the worst memory if you said something I'd never remember The ginger lad from harry, but how do I call me is that we played wrong?

He's ever so river grinch his episode was really well done It was kind of a core story, but Well, no, I think a lot of the cabinet was done really but talk about make mix of because they were horror I would love to see you doing it like putting like getting fresh on you know of the hands labyrinth if you do the peel map Honestly, um like there's so many so many months so many hard to this little time and if I'm in a real life Yeah, I'm a man just like the makeup it and like the like the hand like hey How you doing? I would love to yeah, like honestly, I've already I've got so many like lists and stuff like I've just done so many as well But um no, I'm a man like I love I love him. Um, like I say the level del Toro Just love anything anything goes to be honest like I see that's why I chose crimson peak Um because it's a horror fantasy. I was trying to like when he said the top five.

I was trying to put them in like Yeah, that's what that's what we put every week when we do our Do the same I have to make sense of it in my head. It's too hard. Um, because I could be here all day Like I love him like the hammer horrors. I love him was in the universal monsters.

Um, oh the country All of that I'm obsessed with like that and James while I love James while I'm like, um, yeah And all that like the country moving is got a lot and how I like Are we our fans we are fans the country universe. Yes. I would say we got the third one as much the third one Yeah, third one. It was just because the other two I felt was so good that one just didn't quite hit the mark I didn't not love it.

I think the ideas behind it was a million It was I had some brilliant ideas like I love the idea of like the the witch and the the whole like see the priest It was like to think that was the thing I wanted to know more about and the kind of just went away from that I was like steer here. This is really entertaining. This is terrifying. See you with this and they went no No, no, but he was like no, no, you're missing the idea of what we're like in here Yeah, like I just I don't know um There was a couple of them that would be favorite.

Um, I would say the none maybe because I think it was the hike Again, there was a lot of like there was a lot of media attention on that one. I remember I was propped drawn into the no Oh, yeah, but I wasn't it's good, but I wasn't I don't know like I think I was a bit let down but like I still love it I love it. Like I just Yeah, I love val like My only criticism of the film is I haven't seen it properly because it was that dark and the cinema I couldn't make out What I was watching so I can do that. I'm really not actually yeah, it was so dark that it was it was actually unwatchable Of how dark it was and I really did that I picked up was the end with the guy in the barn Who then turns out to be the guy who they do performing the emphasis on in the first cundron Well, it's um, yeah that one in like, um, I don't know about creation maybe I took again I think um, I just love all of the makeup.

I love the music and sinus as well. Obviously I was like I've been really fucking just rewatching all the old stuff that I'm like Um, comfort. I think it is you know and like um, I was watching and said he has four of the other nights And I realized I was like, oh shit, the new one's coming out. That's probably why I was wanting to watch it maybe Um, obviously I've seen it a few times, but um, yeah, the last king.

Um, then I think fine. I feel like that's out this year I think there's gonna be another cundron movie soon. Um, they're always rolling them out. I think so I don't know how much James One's involved with anymore.

And I don't even I don't think anything to do with the last one But I've just finished watching the saur franchise I love that. That's another one of the pages. I have just got a total of pounds and you love for it Like all of a sudden sitting watching saur on repeat Because how fucking brilliant that film is. I love it.

I love Billy. I need to be I just bought myself a little Billy and my new name for work is a Billy one. Oh, I just he's pretty cute. Um, he is adorable I love it.

I just saw a saw. Yeah. Yeah, so to keep throwing cosplays out you as well just with you mentioned I sit next to you. I've ever thought about doing your little friend as a cosplay To be honest, um, no, I haven't actually I think probably I don't know.

I don't know why actually I don't I haven't done chucky. I've done Tiffany I've done human form Tiffany and I'm doing Tiffany bride of like the right the doll. Um, I don't know I haven't really I don't know if it's gonna have seen quite a when the movie come out That was quite a snatch like a lot of people doing it. Um, and that's amazing ones.

I've seen like and um, I don't know I just haven't really I was like, no, I'll just leave out there and just We'll just just we'll just in chill but now I haven't really I probably want Well, it's a show. Okay. You could actually pull off like say much and carry an Annabel round out of Annabelle As I was really met at that actually But to be friend your we friend your Lawrence. Um, she lives in Ashbrook and her house is over like a me.

I already got my I've got them on them. Please. Please. She's she's got, um, Annabelle like say one of the like the dolls that you've got I think it's a team one actually.

Yeah, she puts them puts her in different different pauses as people's driving Pie like when they're going to work. Yeah, that's It's great. So there's been lots of people post on Facebook and I've just been freaked out by that Annabelle We haven't had as in a window and stuff like that. It's great.

Honestly like Yeah, because that hasn't she got like quite a few different ones Just been getting a few different more like monsters and stuff like that But it's a son a little son's obsessed with all the horror Like I don't think she's that much the movies, but he's just he's obsessed with all the like characters And so as we all were when we were kids as well So watching like they're growing up watching films. We probably shouldn't have and if we're tiny little minds to what we are now Oh, yeah, we did it all behind our parents back though kids have been so fucking honest with their parents. Did you know I did? I didn't tell my mom and dad when I was watching this story.

I'll tell you I think I made all this story on the last podcast That's not really stories just whatever. It's um, my mom. She actually Right, you know how you said rock list them All black was even there was always that like corner shop or that like like video store Oh, I'll remind him that I still got one of the other shop though is still I live over the road from the one where I grew up in and you can still see the stand where the vhs Is used to be oh my god. I would cry like yeah, it's like it's all like um, what's the word?

Um In brains just started switching off that The style Joe yes, um, well, we ma'am we had one here with anyway and uh, my mom actually My mom actually got the excesses out for us when I was here and yeah and I would all the horror movies and the excesses was the only movie that shipped me up as a kid and like yeah I don't know. I think because um again, it was my mom and my auntie maucy when I grew up in my nanas house My nanas was kind of she was terrified like for a few birds of but I used to go around their house on weekends And that's well probably most of the time to be honest and late at night on the telly would watch like whatever was going on And um, there was documentaries and true stories and like because the excess was based on a true story But with a little boy, um, it just it did something to it you put two and two together You have the true fucked up stories to where you see on a movie. That's a true fucked up store Oh my god, I shouldn't be watching it for a start. I've got I've just got goosebumps talking about it It was just so like for its time as well.

It was very like chillin and the makeup and everything and the voice um Obviously, I'll do I love the movie but like as a child that was one of the movie Yeah, I'll be probably too young to understand. I watched it on Monday on my blue It's the first time I cracked my blue reopen and holy shit It was the whole entire cut the spider walk down the stairs I was not expecting that like even it's my favorite film of all time like I watched it Probably more than what I showed and I still got it after shock my nephew once asked me to watch that film He was staying at my house and I let him watch scream and the little shit managed to work and I'll be forward even finished Um, and he was like he was looking through me collection and he went I want to watch this and I went I am not being held responsible for the night I just have a night next day. I just have a night as well because we went channel four used to be good and show all our movies on a Saturday night or Friday night She used to stop and watch it were recorded for us and And let us watch them like they when she was to babysit So the only kind I didn't get watched as if it was any nudity in them and stuff like that So she used to like say oh you can't watch that movie. There was too many boobs for you at the time So it was also at this point as a kid, but no, um, that was my like say Introduction to horror show we say as a very young child watching but and she was the first person to watch rutley horror with us as well I didn't understand the lyrics or what was saying I just thought the catchy songs I think I told before me embarrass me mom singing I'm a sweet transvestite going to school Kids didn't go down too well.

So I grew I grew up on name rutley horror. That was very it was I didn't understand half of what it was but it very much was like prevalent in my family I saw it more as a kid than I saw it as an adult. Um, but yeah, I grew up on that But I have been I've been in horror. It's been in my life The probably since I was about six seven year old It's never ever left.

Yeah, that's the same. Yeah, so we've got a few of your picks there So so what was the rest of you you have that you have three? Oh Colleen crims the peak or the country universe. Yeah, um last one like in city of seven creature I love that good.

Well, this is pushing it mine. This is really pushing. I kind of do it It's it's too hard. We should have seen us the other week.

We did top five songs All of us were born. We're all of us were born tears like by the end of it was hilarious It was it was one of the most heartfelt episodes we did that it's probably one of my favorites We've done this year like of top five's. I absolutely love that episode You know creature is like I just feel it's my heart with joy. Yeah, it's um, I've got him Tack you know this as well.

I've got a big portrait of this big on my thigh, um, and I just I love him Like like I say my logic for picking these top five was the different kind of um like genre But in the same horror like obviously horror fantasy and like universal one sort of thing And I like a top five of each kind of thing. Um obviously nightmare. No, that's a little Freddy. Like I'm just I can't do it.

I just can't but say that Forces to do these things. I had it That's like a horrible main people all that Um, but we did actually do a Freddy nightmare. No, sorry episode where we try to watch all of the All the freddies and some of the little ones were very very hard Honestly, Freddy would not even be in my top 10. Uh, I don't know why I really I have never been that interested in Freddy cricket I used to I've watched them, but my guess was always more intriguing for me You can see the evil in them.

It was obvious. But Michael. He was very mysterious. So yeah, I didn't Freddy Freddy I probably might appreciate him in like 10 years time when I get a little bit more older, but right now Yeah, we're even making top 10 I would have chosen them, but like um like I say I was trying to go like in so I agree is That We've stopped like trying to work like trying to be logical stuff and just went from like what kind of comes the first in your head I can't do it.

I can't like it's it's it's the same with like interests I've got such a diverse and broad because people are like, oh, anyway like this. I'm like, yeah It's just this just all much to fit in that Yeah, and like it probably seems like I do like what I do kind of bounce around from different because I'm chaotic and like different Like ideas and different things that was and there's just too many things in the world that I love Um, yeah But if you didn't put if you didn't bounce about that would you be you'd or that's your personality that people are getting attached to you and And getting involved with so so I know we've been talking for a while bless you and Just just a quickly round up. Can it can you just be like a spectator? So if I said yeah, yeah If I dragged Donna My nose in the chat if I dragged Donna down and shut it down because I don't know if you'd ever interested Paul Just to come just be effective It's um, it's just like, um, I just see it as like a social kind of thing as well Like it's a chance to sort of like meet kind of like minded people And you can see like me doing my whatever makeup out what I'm gonna do But um like doing the makeup and then you can sort of just choose to have like professional photos done into enter the competition Um, which I think a lot of people do anyway, the turn up and I think oh, I'm not gonna do it Um, and then the do and yeah, but if it take good will you classify good will for us Give us a go and go and go and go Oh my god, oh my god, it's not many gimmicks now. Um, like I said, um, it was fun last time Um, and I met like a few people there, you know, you just you never know who you're gonna meet you never know Um, because sometimes like, you know, when you meet people you kind of Meet all walks of life and sometimes you sort of might think oh, um, I'll be friends with this person But then sort of you know, it might not work out or whatever and then you might just go like actually Other person and would gel better or you know stuff and comment and then you sort of I fixate on whatever like genre like It's nice to have like different categories for people as well. Um, yeah That's pretty much like everything that we've done would never judge to anyone or like say like anyone like we wouldn't treat like say We're like we try ourselves.

I guess it's always about that respect factor And it's always nice to meet people that you instantly have that like instant connection that you Yeah, build up friendship and I know we talked a lot like that and saying but this is only the three the second time of actually spoken Like the station Pressure on then it's always nice that it comes across as like we're hoping to go across Like easy speaking and stuff like that. It's so natural tonight. Just because I feel like because we all know each other It's just being like a natural. I loved it.

I've absolutely just like friends having a track and then I forget that I'm live and then I'll be swearing and I'll be like thinking oh my god, what my doing like I don't have a filter sometimes in life. That's the best way. That's the best way. Don't worry I don't like because obviously I wouldn't want to like upset someone intentionally or whatever.

I do swear a lot like if there's kids around as well, I'm like Yeah, there's definitely no fucking kids on here I Have to like not swear It's just really hard with me. So what I was going to suggest as well Like say if you do get any updates and say please post it in the near the up north group as well Keep us like say up to date and there'll be a lot of um, probably some nerds I don't know about it and like say the more they can get a grass one I know you mentioned to be I think it was before that post and they were please take advantage of it And just because I think I don't think I don't know if people already have kind of like no Mastic shick people already know if I am maybe in someone's senses and they might Um, they're gonna know now love because you're on podcast But that's a thing because we want like we are very much about sharing community We don't want people to be like Maybe that people already know that that exists or like that might know what I do and so obviously some people are like us Some people want um, so people don't like it Exactly Yeah, like um Because sometimes I know like when people post like memes they're gonna do a lot better than actual so, you know, I've noticed Yeah, there's a lot of people on um tick tock lately. Um, they spent hours Obviously myself as well. They'll spend hours doing something and the algorithm will push the content out and um, you know, they'll be no Like probably any views or whatever if you get so confident and people share like a meme and it goes like thousands of thousands It's not like I understand I completely say on the facebook page that we run outposts something about the podcast It'll get about 200 500 hits I posted about a cat being on attack over 200 thousand Isn't it?

It's just it's just what people love and the algorithm is Um, the reason messing with it and it's I think it's frustrating like especially Um, when you try and to promote something or whatever, just push out, um, and the one key for it Yeah, that's I've never been one for the pain for side of the things But next thing that's probably where because I know when you I just said being a creative It's always a bit different like us when we do this It's just about meeting new people and if we get like see a core group which we have like say We've had a consistent number of able watching us tonight as well, which is always nice to see and I'll be honest You've probably got a new best friend like that you've probably never met and done. I love you by the way teachers I like I love like her like silent stuff and like um because I know she um Does like well, she likes the same sort of like lawman and stuff as me. I think Your your style is very on point with each other. Yeah, like the same PBC Um, that's a thing.

I need to finish the room and I still haven't done it But then the other week I started it and I'm trying to like get rid of everything in there to like then create a nice space So I think because at the minute it's just full of um, I call them well, it's just chaos really So like boxes from when I moved but it's loads of different things in the same box and like bags and things So literally sat in there the other day I had like a bag for like a bag for charity a bag for like a bag for revenge and a bag for like selling so I had all these bags I'm sat there like for a little bit of work And put them all in thinking about it. It's it was quite productive, but I've still got a lot of stuff to go through Oh, I found quite a few things. I was like, why have I held on that? Um, like costumes and stuff?

I might I don't know if I want to get I did get rid of some cosplay sort of semi recently as well, but we see much Well, yeah, I'm trying to get it out if you want to see what you're selling and if you do I saw many interests. I'll forget a portion in the group as well because I said I'll be some cosplay stuff I'll post it in because I think well people might be interested in the cosplay side but um, yeah, it's a lot of like sort of like alternative clothing gothic clothing Well, we have been told where the goth group as well.
