They do use subtitles as well, so accents must be difficult to understand. Oh, wow. Today we will talk about Street Fighter. The fighter of the street.

Not like the picture that Chris brought up earlier. It's not Street of Ridge. That would have been a good movie. Apparently it's in the works apparently.

I kind of doubt it'll ever happen. Like many game movies before. Well, before we get into any of the fighting in the streets, that's the most important question. It hasn't been as a such a long time.

But I really need no. How are you doing? What you've been watching? Yeah, someone had to dream me.

What happened? We've been watching. That's the question. We haven't done this for so long.

So it's got to be like a long list. I think I've had the dodgy firestick for like two weeks now. I've been watching everything. It's just caught up with the world.

All of you people who stream on different services. Jake has beaten you now. You've got to beat the jick. Yes, it's pretty much just it's pretty much Amazon that I could never be bothered to pay for.

And I'll swim, which is pretty much impossible to watch for in the UK. Apart from like YouTube clips and stuff. Yeah. I mean, what have I caught up on?

I caught up on Bench and Brothers. It's a very interesting movie. It's called Radient is the Blood in the Baboon Heart. It makes sense by the end of the movie.

But that was good to see those guys finally get a win. And to be able to do something like higher budget. If anyone doesn't know Ben Shabillos is like a long run in cartoon show. But it's made by like two guys who do most animation and the voices and never get funding to finish anything properly.

And there's always been massive gaps in the seasons. And that was kind of the finish of it, really. It's like super lucky. But you kind of got to assume everything's the last thing with Richard Brothers.

It's one of those shows I think more like, Nodie of North folks would like though, because it's like, it is just a big parody of like old Saturday morning cartoons and superheroes all jumbled up together, kind of like invincible, but a lot sillier and more like more spy jokes than superhero jokes, I guess. You have been selling it on of to us for quite a while. Like say, it's just a bit rough though, because it's like, we're talking maybe like, two thousand six eight sort of adult swim. So bad animation, weird voices, but like it hits it stride eventually.

I call them invincible as well. I watched it with that. I finished. Yes.

It was really good. I really, you know what I, what I definitely did not expect was all of like the music montages and stuff. I was like, because obviously you can't get that in the visual comics meeting you. No.

But I was like, yeah, this actually does make some scenes, you know, a bit more interesting, especially because I was like, I mean, there's a lot of sadness. I'm not going to say it's like, it's a happy season. It's not in it. It's a few times it got me right in the, right?

Yeah. It's so real, which I know like that's in the comics, like the, like the very real conversations between, it's like very real, very adult conversations. But when you hear even voice actors do it, it just like hits you harder, doesn't it? Yeah, it does.

I think Mark's mom's been like the biggest one for me this season. And she got me quite a few times. And even Mark's journey has just been like, I can't give too much away because I know everyone's seen it, but Mark's journey like it was, there was some moments in it where I just I couldn't see how he could, how could write them to come back. Yeah.

Did one thing was interesting though, because it's Sammy, you read like the comic, to a certain degree to a degree. I own the compendium number one. Yeah. So did you get up to that part with Angstrom Levy?

No way. We dimensioned. Hops them. Because like in the real comics, like he meets Spider-Man.

But yeah, I know the can't do that. So they've got like a stand in like an astounding Doc Ock and stuff like that. So it's like, you know, yeah, I was a little disappointed, but I know that would be almost impossible, like legally to figure out, but it's a shame for the fans. I think that they talk about with Sony, but so being Sony.

So precious with this Spider-Man. Yeah. And it was it was blatantly obvious and Anthony exactly what it was, but because there's a lot of characters who are based off of or inspired off of. It kind of does fit the theme of invincible that you wouldn't have the original.

Just ask like, who is your favorite sort of invincible? You know, mine's the immortal just based solely upon like in the comics, the show into like the Abraham Lincoln, like at some point in life, he was Abraham Lincoln. He's just like stayed immortal for the whole time and just doesn't talk about it. And I kind of love that.

I'm not. My favorite, too. You haven't actually seen in a lot of the second part of season two was the twins. Yes.

Yes. The clone. And the clone. There's such an interesting idea though for characters because like they're just not what you'd expect because like one, the super smart and super strong at the same time.

She very rarely gets and that whole idea of like, and never decide on which ones the clone and no one can know for sure now because the two father got. Yeah. It's how smart. Yeah.

It could be anyone to clone now. Yeah. It's just how smart they are. Like they are ridiculously smart.

And when they're in like fighting or with other people, you tend to forget that they probably are the smartest people in the room and then like when you think about it, they're an excellent character to have in your in your sort of world because they can solve any problem with like super cloning. Like if a character dies and you regret it and want to bring them back. No worries. We can bring it.

The thing is all with them as well because as you said, they are super smart. But as soon as they get out with G a lot, get out of capture, the go back to doing the same stupid thing. It's like it's like a smartness would also no common sense behind it as well. And of course, it's goes quite well with them.

I mean, you've got to have a thing. I guess that's their thing. They're always going to go back to what they because in their heads, they just yeah, they're heads. They just wanted to, you know, figure out what it is they're doing at the time and they're always going to go back to it.

And then we're going to have what we started this conversation on the last podcast we were all on together as well. X-Men 97 we've had two episodes since we last. I've got superhero stuff in recently. I mean, it is well.

I think it's all ready. Got good writing and based on like stuff that's been there throughout the years and I know you can change and adapt or move it with the times but just keeping the simple storyline well but fucking going with it with balls and we all know certain things isn't going to stick. They'll find a way and all the hinting was that things but that fucking scene like not going to the last episode. Yeah, still heartbreaking.

Even the last episode you get the real effects are starting to take place as to what's happening in my heart was like how the fuck is he going to how is he going to cope with this news and but that's seen and can we talk about it in his entirety? I guess so. I guess. And everyone's told you it's good if you haven't checked it out yet.

I'm sure everyone said. It's on net X-Men coming up. Three, two one fucking cambered man. Do the line.

Do the line. Oh, what does he say? Is it not which line is it hers or his? It's not even it's even worse.

I got goosebumps for his because he saw the smile. It was a smile that started it because he was like he was going to attack this ultrasound thing and just basically stop him in mid-air and he was just standing there limping looking defeated and like the robot turned its head away from him and you saw the smile from Gambit and that was it had me hook line in singer I was fucking yes because you knew what was going to happen because he was still attached and he just said the name's Gambit. Remember it and then all he saw was like everything that was attached to him start using Gambit's powers and just showed you how powerful from Gambit actually was as well. I feel like that's what they've done like up into that point with Gambit short because it was a maze and fight scene where Wolverine was using his tell like what I don't even know how you call his power and like charge himself up and I thought that's such a great use of showing like Gambit has fucking something.

He's not just who you think from like the original cartoons. Yeah, it's not just throwing cards like there's more. Yeah, like I love that about X-Men how like well Veen's always like the combo character where like he's got like the fastball special and stuff like that where like just people like throw him or I don't know I'm sure he's done stuff with Nightcroll before and like the horrible places. It was so heartbreaking but it did take away a bit from the death just before it like 20 seconds before it.

Yeah, we had another one. Everyone. And I totally forgot about that from the next episode because I just kept saying oh god how is you know because you get a turn of Charles Xavier how is he going to call with Gambit and say how is he going to call the magnetable? Yeah.

And I went oh shit yeah. It's totally but it totally it did. It did it completely all the whole scene and especially Rogue when she said I can't feel you sugar and I was like completely forgot about until the opening credits came on and so I can eat all the first person on the thing. Yeah.

I love how they are changing that opening scene because in the first episode Magneto is not there. Then the second episode he is there and I just love how they've changed that along but fuck me watching Storm get her powers back. That was cool. That was claustrophobic as well so when that reveal that was like oh yeah.

Yeah I wanted that to last a bit longer because I wanted Storm to like so she was always going to get the powers back but if I'm losing it's from the losing the powers what's it's being two episodes two three episodes it was right at the beginning wasn't it yeah so maybe I watch them all in like when I first came out the ones that I was yeah because she lost it when they were doing the trial of magnae do which I think was episode two yeah yeah so you're right though it isn't moving at comic book speed which I love but it's not what you what when only you still for like tv I don't think yeah I was just sick of waiting for this like last episode that was on it's like it was what sort of happened but I wanted to see like all of the actual effects of the x-men with camper in my ago not quite a finale looking for a catnip or did anyone there does the start of this episode when Ronan was there or her father yeah yeah I was like that's an accuser and I thought that's not just an accuser that's a role and I was like shit yeah it's weird because I wasn't sure what they're allowed to use and what the words because I thought they might have to just stick with x-men like that that I've been in movies and stuff but then I guess they could touch anyone in the wrong series as well because that's the Ronan universe well I've been seeing this spoiler not a spoiler sorry the did a trailer for that all coming episodes no I didn't see that do you want me to tell you because it's a certain thing that's coming in some is going to some is going to wear a pants there was a shield oh oh yeah because it's his heels yes in the old cartoons like the had some time hop and stuff and like took world ream back to wartime and things like that they've messed on a few items red skull was in that spider-man cartoon does this mean like likes of rohan rohan ronan sorry and being in it is that is it making a cannon within the MCU or is it just well he's now so everything's kind of a so basically it's the dead pill could be popping in just like a dead bill three but if this isn't the same universe can America I'm sure he's currently in another dimension fighting the red skull that was fighting that was a spider-man connected to the next one isn't it cospider man yes silver with x-men he goes to meet the x-men early on and they're like he's like the one helping Tigwiz meet and powers he's like screw you guys yeah climbs out the window um but what I love about it is like if you notice how like the power scale of everyone is like like really ratchet it up like it's almost anime from like if you compare it to the MCU yeah but I just wonder like are we gonna is it gonna be weird when they do like live action x-men are we gonna be like where's all the where's all the giant world wins and like giant explosions and beams and stuff everyone's like back to realistic powers it shows you what we've lost really when you sort of see it side by side it is like when storm is flying with all like the six tornadoes and everything like yes and a hair group as well like she got like the black crown and stuff yes she's on so good it just makes us excited as well because like if that's what the hint and where the big and make the other Avengers are cut into it because I know the rumors after secret was it's gonna be like a reset button for the MCU and the big one to be late not to beg if the rumors is true you know what I'm like me rumors I like to really like the spot it's true the most be true but I'm very if they are going to go with it the post-be-goin for x-men versus the Avengers that was probably gonna be like that comic book especially when you say how much of a dick Scott summer starts becoming as well like it was Phoenix for us though wasn't it like that possessed everybody so that's so I don't know if they're gonna bother with that stuff they might just do like who are you I don't know who are you I would like them to stay away from Phoenix for a long time in the MCU because it's never worked in any of the movies that I don't the thing is always tinkering you don't need to rely on that she is interested in ourselves you need a couple of movies behind her before it makes sense to like possess exactly you need to invest in our first before you give a shit that she's actually being possessed but just it's such an easy thing to chuck with fans because it's like you know everyone fucking loves that aspect of it but we don't really need it's jeans fine everyone loves like everyone loves like a dark transformation don't they always like rush to do that it's why they always like rush venom like look at the mess we're in yeah just take your time just like say slowly now we use our venom where people where people like I like the venom character like oh what do you like about it eats heads it's mixed jokes and I'm like oh okay so what about the whole link to spider-bout like we don't care why does the suit look like that then huh it's a dark reflection of spider-bout in the idiots that's supposed to be anyway no that's correct it's supposed to be the only spider-bout in time because yeah spider-bout rejects them so he kind of gets like gets really annoyed at the same I wouldn't know what the hell a super suit is it would make someone in the suit with a logo on its chest if it hadn't been like attached to Peter do you think we want to get those makes it the tom holland cindy or suit in secret wars or do you think they're going to go there I think we kind of have to or do you think they'll do like a stupid like joke about it well the room is on i don't like way one hundred got fields well the room is on the top of the room is on the three main characters in it is going to be a huge acman's Wolverine Ryan Reynolds Deadpool and Toby McQuay is spider-man and this and the same is it is about the thing where tom holland spider-man is going to be like the central character like the linchpin of the universe because they've started talking about that stuff haven't they like where if you kill deadpool it destroys deadpool's like movie universe and then like every every multiverse has like a pivotal character like joseph started talking about that weird stuff i did the worst saw lost one model right now i don't even know where we're at they mentioned it in strange dr strange there it was an excess event that's what they called the characters was an excess event i believe i think in the trailer a deadpool that they brought out where it was like where the sort of pulled the tb it pulls deadpool out of like timed on them and tell them like watch what it really all the shit is because i put some of our videos of him and Thor brought out and stuff like that but yes i have a sex sex it's good we'll always have x-men to watch that's true the movies keep going weird also just before we start talking about the film that we are going to be told i watched a very good movie last night that that was being getting a lot of mixed reviews it's probably going to be a marvang movie i've been a lover here it's got no middle ground late night with the devil and it is very much on the same phase of ghost watch so if you've watched like the bbc mockumentary and ghost watch and if you enjoyed it it's like that but dialed up to 11 like it's literally starts off slow and intense the characters are quite engaging but it's very 70s like everything like even like they've done the aspect ratio on the screen as a 70s film that means good will's gonna love it and i've heard a lot of mixed reviews of it and i said this to you last night that it's like people are saying the first half shape the second half's brilliant but you know me i'm gonna end up loving it anyway it just gives it's like when x came out because it was set in a time period of what i like movies that i love i feel like i'm gonna i'm gonna enjoy it and i love the main guy as well i cannot i cannot pronounce he's earning for the life of his it very much had excess vibes with cross-between ghost watch so take that as much as you want ghost watch is one of the stupidest things you'll ever watch now we're back in a day it was a scariest thing ever say hey i screamed the house down and we watched it yes that's a great chance as well to jump and have a cover though it didn't help this one kick on that set you should have told them when we were there on sunday and sunday and sunday and you should have said you scared me in ghost watch i wonder if anyone had raskes i'm about ghost watch i bet he would talk about it they want to i'm a send of a message now sin sanny wants to talk to me about ghost watch but you come on the podcast nothing no red watch i want to watch that i'm not trying to go over i'm still trying to go over what happened please have you been watching anything like um yes but i'm only two episodes in the fallout it's amazing i'm two episodes in um i don't didn't like it as much as everyone else i think um i'm digging in and i'm giving it like a good try um just stick with it man just you know good old college try yeah because i couldn't get any information out of you guys i was like why is it good though because i didn't like the first one and everyone like it's amazing i can i can i could tell you but then i would be telling you the whole thing and i don't particularly exactly exactly i was watching we finished it on monday the whole from episode four up to the cause and then the person said if i get to the end of episode three and still don't like it then it's probably not gonna change but i don't know i agree i'm struggling at the moment with it's well i'm like jake i'm like everyone's time is i'm struggling this it's just like it's fine if there's a few good things like episode two with a giant rat i thought that was what was happening but that's that's all i've enjoyed so far what i don't like is um like it's the music it's all the things that the cockroach sorry but i don't like music things because it's like it's really like overplayed but in you know like the whole like it's jaunty forties music like and horrible things happen at speed it's overplayed and horror as well though so like it's not i should be used to it by now i don't know why it's like making me crayons but then i'm thinking this is some people's first fallout like i can't yes they can't be robbed of that experience but when i play the games i do not listen to the radio i just sort of wander around with like you know the moody atmosphere and then talk to the funny characters and that's my like you know juxtaposition because when you play the game you can you're in control you can move around and do everything that's one thing where you're kind of being controlled and mid-to-go on this mission so maybe if you put like a fan of the games you're like no i don't want to do this stop making me do this i'm a bit bad yeah because like for that's like your story there's no your your main character until four didn't talk or anything but yeah i'm gonna keep going it's you know i'm not paying amazon for it so i'm not losing anything that's not there that guy is in episode two so we have seen that he's seen weird till you see the guy that has sex with the chickens yeah that was in the second one he's actually in it again later on i don't want to see more of the chicken for you know i'll spoil that for you guys you don't get to see that so it's all right we we we watched the first three episodes not much anymore though darn it wasn't like lee when you think about it was all like lee when he fight to save the world begins in 12 23 84 we know americans saw furrows english that was the 23rd of december 94 oh yeah americans like to do those like christmas movies don't they get ready for the ultimate street fight i mean that's okay but it doesn't happen in the movie no be ready the next one this christmas shop early the streets won't be safe oh running the ultimate battle is about to say as jake said earlier i watched this on the doggie box and the doggie box at i use actually gives the film a rein as well so is that reagan so this is the doggie because normally it's quite fair because everyone is basically the people who know what's like a four isn't it like for everything depends what what you watch what street fighter was out of ten four point six doggie doggie doggie up north doggie box reagan uh generous so the people who have watched so the people who have watched street fighter on this doggie stick i go on the up i've written this movie four point six no no no no no i think oh no not even the drags of society who watch pirate movies care about um no but this is this is a weird one for me because as a child i was very excited to try and see this movie um my dad tried to take me to see this movie but against all uh common sense i would say they decided to get this a 15 certificate which when you think about it it doesn't really use anything that would get it up to that apart from i guess shooting and blurb maybe just like you know like rocket at them past the 12 i think probably the threat of mass genocide possibly that could have been uh but still turned it down though like they should have got this down to a pg or a 12 yeah but anyway so i went to the cinema because my dad would always at least try to get us past the person at the jay star um in the end of seeing the the mccollie cole can richy rich film i believe it's awful um nobody remembers it um and i don't remember anything i remember it i remember the don't just remember mount rich more or something like that is it yeah it's a general no i'm gonna see it all that can't be real i had a doubt it was the dad and most boys in it uh it's gonna be the worst uh richy rich dad was the bad guy in most boys man and yes so because this was the jayty's as well i thought it was the guy from jumanji the the hunter guy so that he was the bull that i don't know what i'm thinking of he was the bull and i'm tired um but what i was gonna say is because this was the 90s and i didn't get to see this at the movies um i then went pretty much like 10 more years without being able to see it until i randomly like stumbled upon a dvd because that's just how it worked back in those days like i couldn't look it up on netflix in like two years time and like in videotapes or like what 10 queer 12 but they weren't cheap back in the day as well if you've got x rental x rentals was 25 exactly so like there was no way for a child to see this movie and i don't know i wasn't reading radio times looking for it every year like when would it be released where do you ever see this um i was lucky enough to see it until h&b was a thing um but i was probably in my like like you know like rebellious like bad movies a cool man kind of like watching a site like bio-dome that was another one no i was actually lucky enough to see this at the cinema i got this for yes so i went down um i think might be in the same time or not too long after or before so i've been in the same queue call possibly i think judge dred this alone one came out with the same time around about the same time can't talk about good films sorry um but yeah i remember saying that um i'm just being really excited because let's be honest the trailer actually made this look quite interesting you thought it was going to be like loads of battles and loads of interest in fights but what we got was this pretend kind of war film which did not suit the theme of straight fighter at all they should have just done a little bit like model combat didn't just have like some kind of tournament because then you would have got all the characters and got the interest one thing i will give it to you the logo it's mint the school logo yeah um for the straight fighter when it comes up like how the change the mid-or shiny and 3d it looked okay okay it looked like they're really well done um the cast wasn't actually bad they had actually a decent cast so i'm not seeing this just to like pick on best spot kylie was not a good choice and all the parts but no no no she was not cast by choice though she had to be put in because they filmed the indoor scenes in australia so she's like the union like the needs to be an australian on the cast like not a field film here it probably didn't probably didn't hurt that she was having a pay with john clor van dam so i think i came afterwards i think he excelled himself into the cast and was like mmm no it's not limits i mean can you tell us it's easy and you blame i see in this guy he's like having ten thousand dollars worth of kokie and she went up the set drunk every dingwin i can't believe that's one of my own fat how fucking crazy did john clor van dam look in this film like everything he was in it was just like mmm manic it was just like it's it's even manic or he looks like he's like you know about to pass out which is probably like true from like exhaustion and like the thing is though it didn't even use the two main characters of who you would expect from a street fighter movie you would expect ken and re you that's what you know it's a street fighter fan they didn't use it they went with gile okay he is not a likable character he was horrible and the i was not a likable person i was a fuck i i was in american and i got by van dam who was clearly not american and oh and he's got this american tell me that oh my word oh my god the dialogue was fucking abysmal the whole what was it you dickhead you're gonna see that in war bison's ass so hard the next bison wannabe is gonna feel it that's a good life that's a good life i was a m the dialogue was terrible but there is some of the best lines in cinematic history in my opinion wow that's a cool statement but they all are they all embison lines so is that what i mean yeah that's what it's like it's like it's like i can't say it's like we've kind of tries to see the film in in ways in that thing is though with rald really is it rald really is not saying that yes that's what guys so yeah like i did like when i was a kid i did think it was funny when he like turned his thumb around at the end and taught him how to do thumbs up i was trying to see if i was like the special one but i'm not no but rald really is absolutely phenomenal in this movie and i know he was incredibly sick like terminally sick while we were doing this yeah and he did it for his kids because his kids were cute street right there's fans and he wanted something to leave behind that you know he thought his kids was enjoyed but we now we're talking about this last night he was like isn't it a shame in a way that it's kind of like the last thing he ever did was this and it's like no because he really thought what acting is this film is not bad acting and it doesn't make him look good he is just that fucking good yeah yeah it's like when we're talking about Danny DeVito like given those really stupid like scripted penguin lines but made it totally just like believable even though when you like see them on paper it's absolutely ridiculous but yeah like rald really is the same kind of guy where he's like he's an actor first and foremost if you give him a script he's gonna act the script he's not gonna he's not gonna be like phoned in like band army like i don't know i'm just gonna party but like it is a really it's a really sad story because apparently like on set as well he was like ill and just like sat in a chair and like you know wasting away effectively but as soon as i said like action he would like spring to life and i think that's what got most people through the filming was because they had him to like bounce off like most of the time he had he's finally with them they're on set as well and their last memories of him doing his work will be vandam being an absolute bellend yeah but i hope it's not i hope it's seeing the fact that you know they're down in the face of everything still managed to give a performance of his lifetime because he was fucking phenomenal in us it makes me wish he not to be in more likes because like i only knew him from like Adam's family and this it makes me wish like he was more of a like mainstay like in our like childhood movies because like how many like good bad guys could he have cleared that we had like you know weird stock characters in like random action movies and stuff like that i would love to have seen him up against arnie like our solo and type thing that would have been quite interesting to see because he had damns like and that's concept like he was basically he is basically like arnie too like they tried again and like like Arnold could somehow pull it off like i don't mind when the pretend Arnold's american because i'm like yeah okay maybe that's fair and tax-sense type of thing i don't know what it is about vandam though i just hate looking at him like he's just kind of like he's not he wasn't a likeable character not a likeable person it's just i wasn't interested in him at all that ken and re you part oh my god you know we're still disappointed as well just left out just talk about the introduction to the characters as well because there's one thing that this film does a little bit strange it kind of fires through them as i'm rocker paces like there's a hundred there's um for of there's saguette um there's all these different characters just like throw on his neck to the point it's like all the worms showing away because you don't kind of because you like to i know this films are two things i'm purpose to make it feel uncomfortable or keep your edge but this kind of just all the worms you with different things happening at the same time you can't sit down relax and go what's happening you're trying to think about it apparently that was another thing it came from the game company cap con the way like we want all the characters in because i think originally they would go and only have seven right um and i think that's like executive meddling that's made it feel like that because they've probably felt like oh no we have to cram everyone in but like the problem with it is like like Paul you're right and it comes to a head with that vaga thing where it's like ah we're about to have you know the cage brawl like an underground fight pit cage brawl with vaga who is like perfectly you know dressed up in his exact outfit then they just have guile slam through the wall and rest everyone because they're outside of curfew and i'm like you robin doesn't like the actual thing we want to watch it's the way he gets out the chunk and he just looks at everyone without anyone saying about you're all under arrest and you know how we're supposed to infer that is by listening to the the fake robin william's good morning vietnam person which is like a recur it's like a recur and joke for some reason and we're supposed to like listen to that and be like oh it says that all shadow-lue citizens are under curfew like that's that's supposed to be the explanation but it just seems like he breaks through a wall and then tries to arrest an entire club yeah because because the only way for me this film would have worked the way that like the planned it out is if the player stood a little bit better as you said had the fights in that you wanted to do and but you're not at any fights but not at the same time because the fights that you get everything happens at the end at the same time so again you're overwhelmed with like what's going on so you don't care as much so you should be getting excited when the hunter and like zia zakrives square and offwards and like oh that's all with by doing like a quick cut or moving on to this point and it's they do that fake godzilla thing which is pretty fun you would have loved that since i saw that i guess jake's gonna be living for this element just for that part what it was monday not monday wenden says rambled cast about takin takin yes right street fight i am leading into somewhere with this m so on that episode you were talking about how in the film they should have just skipped the first one um and just went right glist starting from here uh just sort of three references in that i think they've pretty much done that with street fight as well because all of the characters are from street fight too yeah yeah it's all they were in the straight fight once nobody remembers street fight one and i think like it would have been shit if the pick street fight a one because nobody knows any of the characters from that's like the fucking anymore games since then um and everyone's so colorful as well and they've got all of the the other colors very colorful oh my god blang you said foxy but you did that and sent them you were getting dressed up like that till we told you not to even though we don't get all of the fights that we want some of it is fine where it's like you're just getting to see your characters on the screen of like all that is a perfect like caption like capture of one of my favorite characters like embison dressed in his actual outfit from the game instead of nowadays they go oh no that doesn't look realistic nobody would wear that i mean i would i would i would dress like a nice idea we know we know you would did you not think go with them going to the degree that they did to try and capture every single characters like almost a likeness from the game that they pushed it too far like darl sim with the chain brownies neck and the skulls and stuff i'm sorry but i know he does not like no he does not and i love that character and i didn't hear yoga once he just ends up bald at the end because i guess the lab's fire burned his hair and closed it was like a respected indian actor as well and this is like his first like move over to america and then he never came back yeah you know em you know as sagat as well he's like where's studie's like actually a really good actor and like uh and stuff and he's just given like nothing to work with in this movie i mean he's not really the right size for sagat but like you know implores and bad guy he's fine but he's just given nothing and you can kind of see in his face he looks so done i wish they went a bit over the top with um van dans hair literally he was on enough drugs to be like talked into that very easily like come on did he have a lot of control over this film more than probably what he should have had kind of he's apparently worth the fourth of the movie's budget like the spend like a quarter of the entire movie budget on him so he probably thought he was like hot shit the director didn't get paid for this yeah it was no direction in this movie he had to put all of these i think bandana did it to be fair i think honestly i honestly think the way that this movie was being played out was that he was making all the decisions everything went through him and the director just had to say action kind of like a kogan type by somebody yeah it wasn't kiley wasn't kiley behind the scenes helping out with stuff like uh paying for people to have like meals and like going like staying a nice place and yeah cuz the money went to use that yeah so i suppose it was good having kiley there for the rest of the cast when kiley's not your worst thing in the movie then something's got to be said so let's have a brief conversation about the plot it's very jim's bond yes which is weird it was very much basically like uh muhah like dr evil timing i won 20 billion dollars for these hostages you get an immediate 72 hour ticking clock which is fine that's that's a good way to keep your movie rolling along but we do very little to make us care about like the stakes or the hostages or anything you know like how in movies where you have a hostage situation one of the hostages is usually a character so that you can be like oh you get some scenes in there and you can feel sorry for them isn't this it's just like i don't know that we put some guys in a pit and you're not gonna see them for a while i want to know what like as you said what these guys were to what be worth 20 billion dollars because if you learn more governments in the world wouldn't be a 20 billion for anyone um to build bison of a list i did more things when bison was on screen i did enjoy i'm not gonna lie i love the fact like when he's like standing above and he's got these american sworders in you've traveled all across the world to fight me so why don't you fight me and he's just taking them out with ease he just breaks the next yeah like from a standard position that's something that like em bison in the game would have done so i kind of really didn't quite like that aspect i want to be in there is like there is like you get like a couple of frames where it's like em bison and a guy square enough to each other where it's just a random no-name guy yeah and then and then guile totally drops his friend uh lee in it and it's like he's like we're coming to get you and then he's like the bison's immediately like looking at his hostages like oh you're from your name is the name he said because he calls him charlie as i think it's called as karlas blanger charles ha joo what's like with that where did you get charles from in that yeah he was right but he must be have some duric a core type of premonitions to get to get to get to get monster lab with him as well like no it sounds obvious but yes let's turn him into the ultimate weapon but again i did like that aspect where the two changing karlas inter-blanker with the whole clockwork orange thing put thing on his eyes and make him watch the abuse of stuff to keep his mind i tell you what that was hilarious when like bison sees it and he's like this is just educational material why is he having a weird reaction then he's just like not everyone's a psychopath like he gives them as well you watch but no this this was like this was right in my wheelhouse of like 90s mutant like you know like transformation sequences like i loved all this is a good it's just like i liked it when it actually when you see something cool at the end you know like in ninja turtles you get like tokar and razzar at the end of this process but in this it's just like a green man i have nothing wrong with a green man to green man to the blanker do you know all these looks actually better there's more life in his eyes because the makeup on that man looks like a fucking angry leprechaun if you put another leprechaun movie and like if you get gaffin we in here the big i'm leprechaun i'm leprechaun yeah like the headaches in that head is just ridiculous i mean you're right it's literally just like the basically just put caveman makeup on him you're like the cheapest you could get on you're looking forward but i'm going to be enhancing him he's going to be like the ultimate thing and you're bringing him back to the store niche with the hair as well it makes no goddamn sense oh my god we're always always his by the pack we didn't say his electricity we didn't say his cannonball always always his by the top which was the spring because his face makeup would have fell off of him let's be fair there was not one hadouken in this movie once was yes it was it was just do the energy blast but he does it's like that yeah it's a flash but you see it no there's a flash but i was expecting i wanted to see it yeah because i think it's one thing i will say about that is because it's this is always going to get compared to moral combat and they do the same thing in the Mortal Kombat movie and as a kid i was as disappointed in Mortal Kombat that they didn't do a firewall because luke hang does the same thing where he just goes like yeah and there's like a little zap of energy like no luke hang is supposed to shoot a dragon head like but Mortal Kombat had the mears and soundtracks on so it wins the world fair with the character all the way through they do but that's the thing is again best going to hit me as well now only with haven't karly on board you would expect them to at least have a decent soundtrack for this movie the music in this movie was awful it doesn't really it doesn't set the tone for anything like there's a bit one where there's like playing some music like i'm not someone just put the really one in me room this was random i song so it doesn't even set a mood at all also like this is coming from like a video game with one of the greatest soundtracks of all time and they couldn't even be bothered to like like get the actual music tracks like anything it would have been better than nothing the thing is all probably another money to do it because it all went on van dam i could not believe i was reading an imdb the amount of money that went into him yeah the rumors are i was 10 000 a week ago i did it wasn't yeah sorry but i'm still trying to get past the fact you soon with kiley in the film it should have had a better soundtrack like they would have had like john clod van dam riding his boat down towards him based on spacer come on baby do the look of both let's be honest i'm not i'm not i'm not i'm not the biggest kali fan but she has done some bang and songs throughout the years and she always has reinvented herself to say irrelevant so give out you i'm not gonna let you slide kali off as much as you want to wasn't she and david's at this point and possibly if he was like early eighties wasn't it scott and charlie yes i don't know it's that i was watching it in the 90s i think we got it later later didn't we i think i think she doesn't look like before this but i still think we should have got that music if like kali would have something to say with the music but yeah like just everything the choices in this movie was just fucking weird like even even the end fights with embison you got guy will do any somersoul kick and i just swing he just swings around julia round and like one of those rigs and then we get some windows 98 graphics where embison's going like flatline and even though i don't know what is flying against and then it's like putting a gift of a of a needle to give an injection yeah i was like well who's injecting him is it just a skiff that's bringing him back to life like it gets like deep rib by a suit doesn't it like like it like zaps him and then he's like all right the electoral magnetism that takes my bear it's amazing it's me it's amazing what electricity does in this movie mind this was like in in the in the games which i know they're not really following the law but they do follow some of the law like about like shadow luvi and like a sort of off-brand like embison has what is called psycho power which i guess is just like psycho the energy of being a massive dictator psycho path and it's just like you know blue lightenate energy and it's like that's inside of him like all the characters have weird power that is and it decided to be like no he has to get zapped by the computer panels and then his shoes levitate him it's like okay i like that we've got the flying across this like the suit embers and that's that's called the psycho crush every cousin of the aforementioned power i would have liked to have seen the stomp though i would think that would have been quite interesting to see um but it just gives her current time to shine as well like chum Lee in this film oh no i can't um is interested but her fight with embison she does like pretty much beat him until the boys come and spoil it's fun this is this is my fault problem with this film they had two two strong female characters that they did not allow to be then strong female characters because guess what every time they had a chance to do something order the man coming behind him to see him to do it don't worry don't worry you're a little pretty and she definitely beat embison though didn't she because they came and ruined it and that end bit where he is locking her from behind to her eyes and is like all of you if you wear that dress i would have nutted him was there a point in the movie where he actually did check out because there was one point for me where i remember watching her back to do like i normally i know i'm a dick when it comes to movies and i don't like slitting them too much but there was a felt me eyes rolling the back of me head it was during the prison escape and it was done the whole van dam guy was being killed and you're like fuck off that's not gonna happen but then what happened was chung Lee was standing next to the escape vehicle and instead of just placing the track and big and on it she done the most weirdest and like where you would get swed where she done a full army roll to the side wasn't even going near it flipped the track and big it out like this and then it was like that's the most obvious and like because everyone's supposed to be watching this vehicle five-year and she's like the most real why is this woman just doing a back flip next to it and on it was the most obvious thing i was like oh yeah clearly like men can you do some cool moves for us because this seems really lacking she was like i guess i can do like a flip but it was almost as bad as like the giant sign of bop strike background that's written into the studio just by whistling i think jeez just hit the nail on the head with that though where they're saying like oh this seems a bit lacking can you do something mental and i think they've done that all the way through because there's not one bit that's full of my year do look at we in the school oh this is oh yeah remember just before the whole shooting thing and and that guy runs into trying to statin it guy we just like does a spin kick and he's like lance like again that's just like so out of left field but it's just so van dam can do like one cool move like they can put in the trailer probably i don't have to sit through a whole like five minutes board meeting the van dam talking about Jesus Christ did you guys get excited though like a little bit later when like the snooty guy from it's Ventura shoulder you know like i'm a cowl oh yes i was like yes he's here he's coming in but yeah yeah and then he was in my shot dial now oh my god i can't even believe second cowl was in this and they brought the chalk at the end was like oh yes i managed to talk all the army out there everyone said and there was only just basically a guy in a cut and that was basically left in there left left behind but god i must admit there was a couple of bits that did make me chuckle yeah there's a couple of funny bits but yeah what you like it was one of them was one one's just left me head but the other one which really made his laugh was when bison's talking to is a dj and he's gone yes dj now well plan can come into place we're going to do xy and z and you can see dj going fuck i just like kind of scoot see's way of backwards while bison's still talking we're here to work again dj is a legit character in the game but i'm not one of the well but no one's handle more recently um one the moment that i think is the actual funniest is when they're like roll that truck down to board and up in the camera i've been waiting for you to tell us to walk up yes yeah so like the joke is it's like chun Lee on the video being like you know oh we've just you know we've uh we've done one over on you and now we're gonna leave with all of your guns or whatever this is like a good running support that doesn't really go anywhere then the election shows the van rolling towards their tent and then zangi was like quick change the channel because the man doesn't get the so that's a good joke for you oh and the guy from bant from the mack's tricks on the bad man that we found out yes him he did have a funny line when the like when dj was like look at all i got piers look at all this money i got paid and you went you got piers i was like oh you didn't need to defend him god bless me you told me he was like good way to bad guys did that man get paid for whipping at the Honda so much it was like there was also a bison henchman that just looks like Wario he was no character but it was a guy with a big mustache he was like in the lab scenes a lot like he threatened the doctor like when he was trying when he was like having a peek at the the sacks of mewhejans sterile yeah and he's like get back to your desk i know there's a lot of things to rip rip apart on this film but what i've got to see the costumes were fantastic it makes it very bad for all the work that goes in like stuff like that doesn't it does because it just feels a little bit wasted i don't know if i remember seeing if Ryu all can actually wore their colours yeah i did get these yeah but like they're like bison ones they're like they got when they got took into like the badge as well yeah it didn't feel forced either like with the mario brothers when they just go oh let's put on some uh pulling gear and doing a reason yeah when they couldn't see them in normal they couldn't see them in normal clothes but in this at least they go oh well you're gonna join our karate academy the reason behind the costume change yeah i think it's gonna make sense to together the thing i do actually love about it as well like and again it was like it probably for the average view you wouldn't have noticed it but on the bison platform that was moving around when he was trying to blow up the ship that was stolen from all corners deathboards that was exploding everything yeah that was stolen from thunder and paradise the whole corbin shore um basically it was the old school joy pod that was used that was off an old arcade of the film i think yeah they just went right that's it no more cooking for you he's like but then it comes to the most ridiculous part of the movie which they had to have but they could have done it so much better and felt a bit more natural when bison comes out of challenge with van damas i got how you and your weapons you were forgetting a hand-to-hand combat is the ultimate prize and so all these soldiers that came to arrest and bison leave him for guile to fight i was like no yeah that's not how policing works um no that's very anime yeah um yeah i did like that about bison because it's not something you see a lot of the time when when like he thinks he's dead and everyone's like ah you must be pretty happy about this and he's like no i'm born because he's like he wanted to he wanted to kill him with his bare hands it's like great lines like great lines we haven't even said about the um the thing he says to chun Lee yeah that's that's when i was on a ball early ron but i didn't want to bring it out too early oh no because it's around this time in the movie isn't it um yeah when he's like when she's talking about our city and our father dying he's just like i don't remember to you this was the worst moment this was the travesty this was a thing that horns you at night to me it was chews dear so do you think so do you think the directors of end game were fans of straight fighter by rippon fanos' line off to him yeah it is i don't know who you are it's that famous i think with nerds to be fair yeah it is he's really he did do a lot of research i was reading about him last night and how he did do a lot of research with dictators and the way that they speak and i feel like that is such a perfect way to sum up how evil he actually is in just that one line like to me it was chews dear to be fair though his eyes was fucking mesmerizing all the way through the film like any time he was on it just like i know i just said he was very unwell but anytime he was on the screen he was captivated by his eyes he was almost like hypnotizing you're trying to this is a good movie you will like this movie but i feel like i was saying earlier that the actors got on the game i feel like his scenes as well had the best like camera work and stuff like yeah i feel like everyone was like on the ray game whenever he was like on set which is really nice oh absolutely i'm glad i'm glad it is an excellent like standout performance because like with a being his last and in like an embarrassing movie it could have gone really bad but i don't think anyone's got like a bad word to say about him ever from whatever i've ever heard no but this is what i was saying earlier that it's he's not good because everyone else is terrible he's just he's just fucking good like he is so good like it's an understanding to say that he was pretty he was fucking terminally ill yeah he was he was like this is beyond i think it was like weeks away as well like he only lasted a few more weeks after this rap like it's beyond anything of comprehension and he still manages to move the way that he does and work he's in like a massive he's in a fake like he's in a body suit as well it's attached to it not from over the line yeah i don't think i need to do with this movie to be fair the team did they did try to get to Van Dumbok for it surprisingly i was watching yesterday because we were i watched the honest trailers of this movie to get an idea before i watched it and that did come on afterwards but it shocks me that it didn't because of video games and toys alone regardless of how this goes ahead and how we look at it and stuff like that toys and video games are still gonna sell therefore these will sell in a way so i'm kind of shocked that it didn't i tell you what the problem is with street fighter though once you go past street fighter two like once you go like past embizon even though the duties they still live after the credits but like once you go past that like nobody gives a crap about like street fighter alpha or like third strike like four you could argue yes but it's technically a prequel like kaukum had a really hard time going past street fighter two because you like lose all of the characters that everyone loves or like you know you can't have been bison it's like how do we have like an just able or something or like real or something like weirdos like that but there was a lot of films around about this time that came out like that were trying to capitalize on and what i would describe as the franchise players like everyone was looking for that next big franchise or the next big thing to move out but a lot of them come out as a single hit moves if you think of like masters of the universe as well like an old that was another before this again it's taking a simple idea and changing the fundamentals of that idea to the point where the audience kind of kind of get on board with because it's like it's one of them things right it's like okay yes if you want to like guile is an army person so like yes that has to like bison is a dictator but like what we want to see is like guile like dropping out of a helicopter and like throwing sonic booms at like like entering them exploding and stuff like yes we don't want to see just a powered down version of everyone like living the day they did like doing jobs like i don't care i don't want to know what she's an interpol agent who fights people like that's all i want to know do you think there's a reason behind making it so real as opposed to actually just you know cutting the bullshit and giving them the powers that they actually have in the game and how many like stupid like martial arts films that bandam has been in like how many like things like that no we're trying to surrender and stuff like that yeah like how many movies like that could you just rip off and be like oh it's like it's like blood sport but people have powers like yeah like like itself but that's why even though as bad as mott will come back well not the new one the new one was actually really well i'm not going to start saying annihilation because i know gee has a fun spot for it but as bad as stupid as bad as the original was they're stuck to the like the tournament aspects and yeah the characters like they weren't exactly there wasn't a fan service and again the fan service in this was done definitely as he said it was like a powered down version where it just everything felt like it was like a damn sweet the only thing again the kind of got right was embison but i think it's more to do with like say the guy who was playing embison because if they've got anyone else i think it would have been like say you wouldn't have got this over the top like like a true and the same retype of character would have been probably downplayed and tried to do a bit more scarier rather than comically because actually this was very much a comic good villain and he played it that way it worked that's all well what did it ruin the movie if they did give them powers like completely change everything and it possibly it could have made it slightly better i think it was similar that's the thing as well like as jx said before we got if we got vega in a cage give us the cage fight and we could have seen like bilerog in a boxing ring we could have seen zakriv in a wrestling match and like those aspects you could have had and done in a way where like the story doesn't have to be elaborate like this story wasn't complicated but for what we got it was too complicated which is probably the weirdest thing i'll ever see during this podcast yeah the costume for vega was unreal yeah and that guy like looked exactly like as far as i was i was in that moment i was like oh yeah okay okay i see what you do when he and then buck and van dammer when's the whole shot and apparently like apparently the guy played vu or ryu is random people shout over the movie so apparently he is also like a established like martial artist and can go and i think like the had someone on staff who was like training everyone like properly and like taking it seriously but they're just like ran out of time and stuff and they couldn't get anything together and like you say van dammer's running around having a like a Taiwanese coke binge just didn't get anything together but they tried which is like the sad thing and they had some ingredients that would have made it good but they just wouldn't like pull anything together and it really shows like more than any film i think i've ever seen it like it shows all of its like missteps constantly i really feel like van dammer's not a part of this project it could have i'm not saying it would have been fucking brilliant but it could have been something a bit more special it would have been more sense but the worst thing about it i know it sounds really weird in a sense because we're half slated this whole time it's not even the worst computer gaming adaptation of the time that came out because i think it came out the same time as double dragon and double dragon the game the movie is fucking i've never heard of that oh it's no it is so bad it's not even funny it's one of those ones where it's like really bad and also like unpleasant to look at you know there's that genre of movie where you're like everyone in this looks gross and like there is some like quote monster characters like you know sort of it's like they're supposed to be i guess gross but i don't know it's just like it's a disgusting thing to like it's unpleasant like it assaults every sentence it's like when you watch kai bakas night breed and that's a brilliant movie then double dragon that's when it's surprising me yeah just when he hits it i felt the same during that but what i don't understand about this era of time like you had all of the hong kong action from like the it was even earlier like you had all of the Arnold Schwarzenegger movies of the eighties and like half of the nineties like all the all the works been done like they should have known how to teleport this off just yeah it's just why the eighties was better and why it should have won that year when the fuck did that go back to the officially um but we found out that this is because we had street fighter in the eighties like think how good like a big trouble little china style street fighter movie would have been to be further this is probably what would have been Lee's like so disappointedfully watching this movie because he is the eighties action guy so everything that you say advertised in the street fighter movie it points to any of these action film and you think you're going to get any of these action but you don't it's almost like an eighties hollipop thriller cross between some weird shit that you don't even know what's going on so i can just imagine at least head when he's watching this one this is not demolition man this should be better it's still weirdly enjoyable lore yeah so shit it's good yeah it's fun it's fun to make fun of as we have found on this this podcast and i am not i will not apologize for putting this on the list it is a very much a bit such a cool name and if you think of the name and vice anything as a evil dictator from street fighter but obviously the reason he's called embison is because the swap names around from the japanese version and he was originally called vega was it? vega yeah and ballrog was mike bison that would have been that in this movie man that would have been even weirder than it already is mike bison running around fighting terrorists fighting because he was often stuff he was very popular across the world in the 90s and he made his image made it into a lot of things but they changed it because they didn't want they thought it might cause some kind of like loss and sort of and mike tyson didn't even know anything about it until recently someone told him when he was like oh wow that's amazing actually they could have lifted him. Tyson now is a very different mike tyson yeah he is probably going to be a big game although uh tyson's when he was in like tyson's punch out so he does have a video game appearance but yeah this is why in the like the fighting game community you've got to be pretty much after call it dictator claw and boxer because when you when you're going between like japanese players and english players and stuff like that everyone's just had to pick an image stick to it yeah it makes more sense when you stop them all back so lee if you want to win a big game with you being the quintessential action guy um makes it like almost like future almost hey i'm an eddy's guy you can be hey i'm an after guys and what would you change to make this movie better or how would you make it how would you make it better for lee shall we say um the need more martial arts actors um and like better choreography so like just yeah just better fights better fight scenes any fights would have been good for most of you fighting i've re-evolved all these guys this film but the raid uh that film fights like that but put in a street fighter like fast paced intense on their gizzets and that's what the raid has a hierarchy of boss characters that he has to fight through and it's like doing everything right i don't know what you're talking about so that's okay it's really good um don't look at me with eyes of you having seen what i'm sorry if you've seen what's more if you could get together and watch like the two raid movies with beers that would be like the best oh have you seen the new dread movie we're called urban yeah yeah it's basically that yeah that's ripped off the raid and made it like an american oh i really like someone as well yeah then the raid too is nothing like that and it goes some places and it's very impressive and cool um chris is put into the chris chris is on a roll tonight he says more greased up men with moths uh oh chris is not made in proper either do you know what if you just take them down out of the whole equation and it will make this movie at least 20% better than what it was because he is an awful character so if we would get a two thousand subscribers we're gonna get 12 bandam movies some you don't want to have one and review it there are better ones though that's the thing yeah one's really doesn't go like in the middle of jesus christ i've only 41 cast and who would arnie please straight fight it other than bison actually you could be guile because it's like you could just play him like dutch yeah it wouldn't have the movement it wouldn't be nor somasol kicks from uh maybe not from anything is like no bandami just does like a side spin kick thing he doesn't do like a full on flash kick like a back flip that's what we all wanted to see you mean like delete it seems added back in so it seems where ken and rio had like a bigger rule or bigger presence because it seemed like they wanted to be something a bit special in this but they did like i do you have to give it to them they did upwards of two signature moves but it was like right at the start like rio does the the hurricane kick thing and then they both do the overhead like throw like move and it's like okay somebody saw two seconds of the game and that was what it's all used and kind of understand the version of this movie what seems do you think that look that went no no this this is this one gets to see that this one has to leave but depends who's the end of it if i'm down lock themselves in the room with the end of the swig with it's like a game and i'm going to make the movie all about me it could have been the rio and like ken movie that could have been that just like got the got the director and the editor by the shot and curly saying nope it's got to be about me i i'm in this movie and it's just one of the first movies we get found out in that he doesn't do the splits i think so he doesn't do like i say he does like one or two cool moves and that's about all you get um but like i'm guessing i think like some of the actors in this just well i'm here mostly just phoned it in really like it was probably an easy paycheck for him and then you had him just surrounded by professionals like ronjulier and mignon went and it's like how could you like do that i don't know i hope they're like i just hope someone kicked his ass at some point while he was on this it would have been nice to that yeah because he just he just looked like he was the even in the film itself you could tell there's a presence about him and it's not a good one it's not it's not a leadership at all there was one woman in this film that really caught us off and thought how what what the fuck was when he was talking to come he threw a um monitor yeah and he picks the monitor off the ground and he starts getting this one from but she didn't have anything to touch her on or anything so how the fuck are them two communicating with each other and i'm like now see you just getting this is just getting ridiculous now also cammy is supposed to be british as well like that's like the only one of the only british street like actors so they swapped a lot of uh swapped a lot of nationalities for some reason it's just a make it fit i've actually got down what he says on that monitor because it made his laugh because that's gonna say oh how are you i'm only half dead i want to make him bison he's all dead i was like oh was that when he pretended you basically lay on a morgue table for way longer than he had to couldn't wait for chanita walk up to him before he did the whole like yeah like why would he like why would he lay there for that long for stuff for reasons but yeah i'd just feel like he had more control of this film than he needed to sammy's sammy's water's a rumbling and now all he already does is advertise middle light so does he doesn't want really came out on top there but yes so and blanket doesn't do anything about it you get all that build up and then he doesn't do anything no he can't mutate someone and then just have it be like he didn't even hulk smash or anything yeah he chokes van dam for like a second before i realized it's charlie but then van dam recognized and showed i was like sorry you've realized him through what reasons charlie it's me it's me it's me it's me all the best friends who just didn't see any of it i'm sorry i don't recognize lee when he goes green this is just i don't say lee anymore i see angry on the lumber from uh from angry greek bob ross so what you're saying is if lee attacked you then The Descent is one of the scariest films that I've seen. I was going to say, as someone who doesn't describe themselves as a horror fan, the Descent and Dog Soldiers are really cool movies that even if you're not a horror fan, they're still interesting in the wrong way. Just to listen to British movies, I'd rather be British, British cinema at the best. Even if you're not a horror fan, just to listen to him talk about the industry, how he got into it, and the people that he's worked with, it's just such a good chat to get that information as well.
