Come on down and jump down this shit. This is some scary movie. Like scary. Uh huh.
Elders. We came. We saw it. We kicked it out.
Field boost. We made you go down. We're live. Live.
Hi everyone and welcome to the Nerdy Up North podcast. It's a Nerdy podcast and it's hosted by Enoch the Nerds. I am one of your hosts Sam. And I am the other host Paul.
And tonight, yes, this evening is a very special night. So I'm going to introduce us a little bit differently. So welcome to the thousands. And I mean thousands of Nerdy Up North fans who are turning into bear witness to the most electrifying Nerdy podcast YouTube has to offer tonight.
And tonight is a very special night. We have someone making her long-awaited podcast return. We have the most deadliest nerd of them all. She has not a killer man with a double-ended dildo.
The Lady of the Night, we have the wonderful, the fabulous, the amazing Donna. Yes. Hello, Donna. And finally, here's no one to always come last.
You never finish this first. We know him as the Daddy of the Discord. We know him as the one, the only, Horboli, the man, the legend, the penis. We have Lee.
Hi, everyone. I don't know what to say to the movements, but thanks. Hi, Sami. Hi, Horboli.
Lee, who are you dressed up as night? Well, tonight I'm dressed as the wrong bird. I'm glad you dressed as this, Lee, because you've been told that there's all weeks. I've been saying that you are going to be dressed in the bled, and I thought we were going to be, I thought this was the night, so we got cancelled and taken off YouTube for Lee going too far.
But that's what he hasn't. He's done well. Would you prefer the other bled? Because I can.
I can. He's seen that as on. And the most of it. Right.
You've already got much more. I'm pretty much. I'm pretty much. I genuinely don't know what to say right now.
I'm just glad you didn't get the shoe polish out. That's all I'm happy with. So that's fine. So yes, I'm good with that.
So yes, so we are joined tonight by two special people. We were meant to have quite a few people, but unfortunate events have to happen. So we want to wish the two people that we'll be doing tonight and hope you do feel better and we love you guys. Love you.
And if you've noticed in the graphic as well, I've put a little Easter egg in for us as well. We've had a special week this week. We've had an amazing week. So yes, so we have done something that we set out for end of year targets.
We said, we said, we said, we said end of year. We said end of year. I think we're set ourselves. We wanted to hit 30 or 40,000.
I think that was the end of year goal. We kind of broken that by a little bit. So we've done well. We've done well.
We're not just sitting at 50,000 though. We are sitting at 51,000. Jesus, where are you nerds coming from? We are taking over the nerd community.
We are going to be the number one nerd community on the internet. I am going to fulfill the prophecy and sacrifice a virgin. So everyone who's a virgin might as well get layers pretty soon. Otherwise you could end up being part of the sacrifice.
So good will has to have the sex. Bless him. So yes, so you're going to do your bit there, Sammy. Oh, are we doing all the bits?
I'll just half the bit. I will do all them. You can do all the bits. Well, the most important, I cannot take these three.
It's important. The most important question of the week is to ask, how are you all doing? What are you being watching? I'm doing fine.
I'm feeling bad. What have you been watching late with your shiny hair? I've managed to squeeze bleep in and that is it. I worked 32 hours all the Thursday and Friday.
So that explains that the kind of describes the beach that I've had. Let's just give a little round of applause. But actually doing some work this week. He says he works, but he still joined him a quick rush.
Even though he was saying he was working. And he won quick as well. He is number one wrong for the time being. Time was spent there, like.
That's still on his time. He's still getting the hours. So I hope his boss isn't watching. It's all asleep.
What else has anyone been watching this week other than what we discussed tonight? You've watched anything fun or interesting other than porn? It's not that special. I haven't had time to watch much to be fair.
I've watched some big movies today. The only thing I've started is an anime called Delicious in Dungeon. Oh, I've got that on my list. That's really good.
They basically go into a dungeon and the monsters and different stuff. And instead of just killing them, they're like, why not? Let's just cook them all in a dishes. So they go down and kill them all.
And then cook them all in a weird dishes. Oh, interesting. It's the indeed dishes. It sounds so fun.
Jake told us all about it. And it's on my list. Very cool. Very nice.
And big congratulations to Donna as well. She ran ChibiCon last Sunday. It was last Sunday before. It's filled with last Sunday.
Yes. Very successful little convention that we attended. And it was so much fun. And Donna was running around like a little pixie.
It pretended to be busy. It pretended to be all the work which was really just hiding from everyone really. And last time we took you doing all the work. Working hard for the cause as well.
And congratulations as well to the SundayCon peer to also hit 50,000 followers. Just beat us by a week. So well done there. Well, you've been watching some of Samantha.
Well, I've watched obviously older blades and I had to watch Plan 9 again. Into where you get me head around. What's coming up for monsters. And but what made it and did start the other day was what's called avatar for last day.
I wonder what's in one and holy shit that is so fucking good. I am a huge fan of the cartoon. And when I saw live action other I cried my eyes out because I want him so badly. And with one episode in and done it is just it's beautiful.
It is absolutely beautiful. It's so good. And it's very loyal as well. Very loyal to the cartoon in not a way where you feel like it's taken scene from scene.
If that makes sense. It's kind of like the opening scene with Ang was home. That's kind of like developed a little bit more fleshed out a bit more. And I'm absolutely loving it.
I think one episode in as well and I'm excited about the rest of it. But that's always really been watching because I have had so much to watch this week. Well, well, sit back people. I'm going to take the glasses off here he comes.
I struck the beard while I talk about this. I have hit the mid season finale of MoonShiners. Oh my gosh. So we do have mid season finales in here.
We've got Tickle who's trying to go straight. He's not trying to be a MoonShiner anymore. He's overly zoned restaurant with his wife and he can't stay out the wrong. Been around in the because he's realized he's the way restaurant has a huge area in the back that can store a legal liquor.
So he's been storing it's going to he's going to fuck up. He's going to end up back in jail tickle. What are you doing man? Oh God damn tickle.
The two old folks when I was telling is at the start of the week score one of them is being diagnosed with a rare blood disease. But it's not good news. It's a good news. It is treatable law.
So they will worry that it was going to be. for him so they went on this massive run where they're trying to make as much money as they can but so far they've created 200 gallons of popcorn suttons illegal whiskey legal right pop con sin is the most famous ever moonshine that america has ever been so if you look him up he is a dodgy character but he looks like busy what Lee looks like and it's gonna look like in 50 years he's gonna like say look like say look like a lot of the net look rear and a lot bigger beard but like say very much like a homeless person but but the best part the best parts left to come so the tason a fallout so um there's been shenanigans all this season where last season dickhead mike was going around having an argument with richard they were fighting over turf so mike blew up richard's steel and it turned out the steel didn't bleed belong to richard it belonged to like some git head honcho gantas of moonshine because yes there's head honcho moonshine is it's not backwards and shit i'll tell you and the head moonshine was said used to use to have to work together so mike's partner is starting like richard more than mike so then we're gonna throw a mic out it's all gonna kick off there's gonna be a bunch of blood there's gonna be hell on in the moonshine county so yes you've got that to look forward to in in the second half of this season of moonshine it's all bloody dramatic isn't it that that was a ward within action that's the highlight of this week's podcast that's all there now everything else is down the hill yes that's what that's what the audience tunes in for the moonshine at all they've been they've been gagging for it for a few weeks i've teased them with it given a little bit of their sort of their they've got they've got the bit moonshine as yeah they've got 13 seasons to watch god i've just got cookies out there for the money fans you've just sent good all in this buzzer you've just sent good all in this buzzer he's like what's going on uh for all of our all of you is you've just missed the treat that's right we have to now describe things don't you could you describe what you've just done on the screen there's a lot of fun i don't want to move i'll find out yeah right i'll do the disclaimer i'm going to crack on into the blade trilogy because there's a lot to say yes so everything discussed in today's episode is our opinions and our opinions alone if you want to discuss anything from today's episode please come and join us on the discord the facebook or the comments section where we can have an open discussion but what we won't have is anyone coming for us and telling us our opinions are wrong we can all agree to disagree in fandom so let's keep it fun keep it kind and keep the toxic behavior out of a nerdism well said that you're thank you thank you thank you well before i before we get into the blade trilogy i want to get the tagline out the way with as we all know i love a tagline uh this one pretty good actually all right quite like this one you ready the power of an immortal the soul of a human the heart of a hero oh my god blade that's a tagline and it covers all three movies as well pretty well pretty well i've got a little like little snippet where i think we'll be good we have like going into talking about bled now this movie when it came out there was a certain studio or certain comic book studio that was in dire straits like we see it it was about the go-bust so in a way blade this is going to decide we listen blade is the mother of all superhero moves and with a bane mothers deer it's a fitting that we're doing this so i did be better trying get this in there that's very very clever anything to talk about mothers yes and i'm just to say happy mothers dear to all you beautiful mothers out there i hope you're the bane spoilt and if you haven't my dms are open and that's also just say uk people only yeah people's been getting confused on the group today haven't they're like what are you talking about well this is why i put in brackets uk because i remember the shit show over the daylight savings i'm like i was like no we're 50 000 other fuckers that's gonna be fucking entertaining oh i thought i'm not getting into that so i'm putting uk in in my post just to make it very clear it's just the uk just the uk just i couldn't give a fuck i love it annoyingly americans hi american viewers um so yes so bled so as i said this basically started the revolution this basically give us uh we wouldn't have the avengers we wouldn't have ironman we wouldn't have um probably would have spiderman in a way but like not to the probably the degree we do now if bled hadn't come along and an ore marvel at that time was trying to like the went through the stage where they fucked up with the comics that had too many variants they had too many different characters they would basically it was costing them more a print than they were making on sales um the comic boot world were it was a scary time i'll be honest with you it was quite quite scary time for a lot of comic boot fans as well it was the image revolution did not help in the slightest either because image around the time this is around the time image comics comes out where you have all your top guns your jimlies your togna farlane and rob life ale to a degree but yeah rob life ladd is going to be chest out here that's fine and really weird feet um but yeah you have your rob life ale's and the all congregate together and create my image comics the reason batman had his back broken is because of the image revolution uh marvels downfall comes not solely from but is helped by the image revolution as well and this is at the time a marvel a feel marvel comics and marvel studios go their separate ways and around now or is that around the start selling off all the properties like all the big names like spiderman went to sony uh fucks took up the x-men fantastic for um sony i think got ghost right possibly i could be wrong about that um i then bled um was it was it new line um could be wrong yeah it was a new line and they went a different route they didn't want to do like a comic book well like all our comic book the went right what can we do with bled and i think the the went hard and it was a fucking gamble as well because not many people like everyone here's comic book movie and i think i was going to be a pg12 at the latest but the bled went fuck nah like it was an eight aim the first one um and just talk about the whatman saying like how this movie started like i didn't think they would get away with doing this but how how it played out um it's just a stroke of genius like from the music like the music is iconic now like you can't think of bled with how it not even doing like kicking in and starting out when that plays i worry where the blood's coming from like i'm laughing around to say where is that blood coming from and i didn't do a lot of notes for this episode um but what i can remember reading was the prodigy were asked to do the full soundtrack of this movie and they turned it down ooh that would have been a trusser oh yeah because what we got was pretty fantastic that song is mint i might remember this is showing how all they am as well um in the rock tears on thursday night in pazazz since sunland um that song used to come on and the place used to go wild like i know like you've got loads of sweat um teenagers not teenagers like eating 24 year olds just literally uh after like haven probably just uh like in park because it was a pro ole in biscuit uh and then uh then do it it's a completely different like type of music but literally the place just nobody was sitting down everyone they're up there and unfortunately if you had a drink in your hand as well the the pint or the bottle used to go up in the air so everything used to end up being sore but it used to be such a fucking moment but um for a movie to start out like that it kind of set the stall of where they wanted to go with this character and this like the franchise as a hall and i've got to give it the credit they went balls to the wall and it fucking worked okay no one of the best orphans ever actually have been talking about like warehouses just to recreate this thing well back in 2016 comic con san diego they do their own little like people have like after parties and such like that this was one of them warehouse and it was a blurge bath it was a blood bath party and i saw some of the photographs from it i mean the one thing i love about the first blade movie is the use of blood and how much there is the color of it especially with the the dark aesthetic that load is so vibrant that it makes you kind of like um so i do love you and it gets watered down so much as like the other sequels come into play but that it's like a character in itself the blood in this movie i love it and it almost takes a little page over the screen franchise as well by using like i wouldn't call her a well-known character but like she was like a famous person like Tracy Lorde as the first one found off i know what sammy's up now but she was massive in cry baby Tracy Lorde is up there like when she came on screen i went oh i've got about Tracy Lorde's in this i've got a lot of his cousins that can be remaken all well it's quite apt though because she is well known for being a wronging in the porn industry as well as you know you've got the porn industry struck down because she wasn't under age porn store that she lied about age so that all of the films that she made as a porn store had to be destroyed that's where like her name comes from but using like a known actress and again you think you think oh she's gonna be a mincey if you're gonna watch her throughout the movie she's gonna be one of these like one of the side characters all even the main characters and they do extreme they're killing her off in the first five minutes absolutely brilliantly yeah it was a classic move it wastes no time in showing that this is like a fucking horrible world like all these other vampire things that have came up before there's only usually like a small group where what's the maximum you would say has been shown in one go like 10 to 15 like what's it 40 days and 40 nights but it's like a family of vampires or they normally call them a nest or something like that if you're watching Supernatural yeah well you get struck in this place and there's like how many there's probably about 200 vampires in there absolutely covered head to and blood and it's just immediately going right this world is scariest fuck vampires are real they're not romantic like shit like in the movies they're not sparkling in the sun like some thought it was trying to be it's it's horrific what it's amazing it was very sexual or like it was very like hot if that makes sense like literally when the walk in that like the ray of scene like it was like it was like they didn't dumb it down it's very sexualized like um like the girls girls and boys and boys there was like like I think that when I'm trying to use this and dramedy and I can't just say it and I'm drawn with this and I don't think that's it's like um then probably when like say vampires because in vampire law like sexuality is like fluid and like everyone gets with everyone and there's no like gay street and like bi or anything like it's just literally your vampire you you'll get nicked on with but um we are gonna remember when I first saw this it wasn't on the cinema it was a shanai dvd that I watched what about you Lee when you first see it I can't remember um I don't know how I managed to see it but I definitely wasn't eating right um I don't know if it maybe from blockbusters or something like that I think your parents might have rented up one night and I watched it so like so we'll get child services around at least parents there that's fine uh well but you don't know I think I was a teenager I think I'm a journalist that's what I was trying to say David thank you sorry uh androgynous that's it yes thank you that'll teach us for trying to be clever um no don't say those long words so you watch it on air I could see a video a VHS shall we see it because yes well you had to be kind and rewinded it um what were you summy I saw this as soon as it came out um I love um I love Wesley Snipes and I was like um and also it was in me in the early goth years so I was like yeah I'm getting into this but I was saying it last night and I'm really shamed I'm here shamed I mean yeah not really and I was obsessed with this movie like absolutely obsessed with it um found it like from the aesthetic down to just everything about it and I didn't know up until a few years ago he was a Marvel character I didn't know it's okay generally didn't know no judgment they adore it then it obviously um I don't know I just I didn't even like think to myself that this is going to be a Marvel character why like it's not a character you look at and go you're in the Marvel superhero universe I don't think even put the Marvel logo until the beginning of the third one yeah I think this is that last night I think this I think this the first one got the Marvel logo eventually though didn't it like on is that like a DVD release or anything like that it definitely wasn't I watched them on prime and they were all the uncut versions I'm sure at least the third one was yeah and it didn't have anything it has nothing I didn't even see Marvel's name right open and credit kind of kind of say one thing as well because I know this I'm going off top of here so but prime what the fuck are you playing I put in an advert I'm sorry that really gets us off the there yeah yeah I'm like I'll pay for you fuck right at the good part as well yeah anyway sorry as well as the model going up in in them those bastards sorry you played as amazing especially the first one but those bastards could stand these cameo out of the film did it he was meant to have a cameo where I can't what he's called now Donald Logh's character where he's like pinned to the wall on fire Stanley was meant to come in as a like all police officer all right I don't think what you do in there saying Jim Stanley always has like funny scenes and it's like how can you make that funny yeah excelsior for your hat the director of this one was Stephen Norrington and the writer was David Escoya. Goya goes on to direct the third one but has nothing to do with the second one but Stephen Norrington has something to do with the second one yeah and Gamelio Del Toro directs the second movie you can see visually like there's a there's a change within all three films at different times like this one visually is is perfect like the tones the um like the colors they use like the palettes like everything it's just visually a face to the eyes like there's nothing that like as Lee said there's no wasted motion there's no like bad scenes or anything like that the practical effects and that's one thing I wanted to touch on as well because this is probably what the conversation will go later the practical effects in the first one is absolutely amazing that guy who gets pinned to the wall and sets on fire when he kind of reanimated himself and like running around as a burnt corpse it's fucking amazing it's one of the like most terrifying things and all you see is like the whites in his eyes and his teeth like and then when he bites one you see the blood dripping from them teeth visually it's amazing it's absolutely one of the best four-key like upscale stuff seen in a long time as well because normally like an up-scale like if you watch back to the future in four-key it's embarrassing because you can see where the makeup on the neck it kind of like disjoints um burnt guy is seen in the hospital real life horrific moment for that he slipped and fell landed on his jaw and he'd already had a jaw injury dislocated it oh I go to hospital and he's burnt out with imagine the hospital coming in this like yeah he just absolutely charmed me job oh jesus oh but yeah um but like just from the opening everything is at such a fast pace it it does I can see where like say I don't know if again could be wrong but the guy who's the people who made john wick kind of got like the ideas of where from from like the cut scenes and like the fight scenes it reminds us so much of those type of movies like watching blade back now and it kind of felt that kind of influence all we're through but I have to admit and like this is not doing the film down because at the time CGI was a bit choppy you know it was a bit sketchy to do the best there was a few sketchy CGI moments especially when Buffy was doing better dust and scenes than blades let's I'll be honest with you probably still better than some of the Marvel's producing now man yeah that is true and if we get into the characters because there's some absolutely amazing characters in this movie and just firstly though the Wesley Snipes was technically always going to play a bit yeah when they wrote it that's who they had in mind however they did have two other names on the sleet that they were contemplating and if Wesley was to turn it down right and it was Denzel no fuck no fuck no that wouldn't work no Denzel and Lawrence Fishburn were the two other names on the sleet but Wesley thankfully thankfully said hey yes like the answer during the with the blood wave like just the more it gives you straight away shows you how badass he is he walks in everyone's like dear water the silence the intimidation the fear on everybody you can just see how badass the characters going to be like fondly off but they don't even go anywhere near him one question one question with the blood wave as well because everyone's covered in blood literally it's covered from Walt the saving he doesn't have a fucking drop on him oh he's fucking bleeding it's like a dance between the the drips but yeah I can just see before that scene as well like bleeds talking to Whistler like right there's 200 vampires in this warehouse right so what's the plan of attack the plan is to attack he just walks in and stands there like hi guys let's do this he's looks cool as fuck but when he's just standing there and you've got all these vampires are sort intimidated by him that yes they've got all their fans out not one goes to lunch for him they all kind of like pull back of it and he's just standing there just completely clean like no blood whatsoever no not perfect um i think he has fun as well when he's like killing all these vampires you can see him smiling yeah it's like a proper comic group pause woman wait for us he's saying he's like well everything well everything in these like movies like they have these such a cheesy comic book pauses like the gore beyond the points what the first one is paired back a little bit um it is more into like what would happen if this was like kind of realistic but just going back to your comment about Denzel i know i slayed it at first the only way that potentially would work is if they did the blade comics from the 70s i think Denzel would play a decent blade from the 70s but not a modern day of later i can't see it but yeah sorry i just would not work no and i don't think the same for laurin's fishburn either the mostly types is a martial artist and yes blade one i would say is it's a story based movie like the story is perfect from start of fish yeah blade two doesn't have as much of a story but it is a martial art film yeah yeah um and i can't imagine Denzel Washington or who was a laurin's fishborn and i couldn't pull up that and all laurin's fishman had his moment with the matrix but it's still not the same level of movement and fluidity that that wesley brings to it yeah though i couldn't see i couldn't see him pulling my feet but wesley snipes was always that's who they wrote it around yeah that's a problem though with wesley snipes i'm not saying he's like a wronging or anything like that allegedly might be yeah let's just put that word right in it allegedly um but he got too much power with all the blade franchises well and he got too much to see it with the character like what it feels like history is repeating itself though because makushan alley is having the same the same thing he's already sakwanda director he did it not anyone else he did it but i can when i was watching blades on the other night i could just saw some moments in it i was like i can see how makushan alley is going to fit yeah beautifully into this character i think it's going to be down with the fight scenes more than anything else he'll have the coldness the coldness and like the sharpness of blade but it's just how to do the fight scenes and that's that's simple how blade will work to be honest and again the main thing with the blade movies is how to do the bad guys um the blade one like stavendorf like diggin frost is up there with some of the best movie bad guys in chase factor as well but yeah he is entertaining to watch his fuck in this movie like you can't take eyes off the screen every time he's on there you can't literally take your eyes off his eyes and the reason i was so obsessed with this movie was nothing to do with blade it was everything to do with stavendorf if this movie wasn't on judgment night it was on i absolutely love that man but i actually was writing a few notes down to start before i was getting too far into the movie i was like fuck me nor vogue and i was first look at deacon looks more like a method than he does in actual vampire well you know what you know what nik actually said she went because with nikwetman like that ambulance service like years ago and she went he has every single character history and look of someone that's happening in heart attack like yes socials like it doesn't really well if they wanted them to look like he is a dead character because literally every character every person actually went out to like trying to see if it was having a heart attack looked like stavendorf did in that movie it was just in that opening scene he just looked like there was something cuz i've really wrong with them and it wasn't to do with ampereism whatsoever um but he is such a uniquely good bad guy he's because i think what i liked about blade as well they played on the class system and it did it really well it was like through the vampire class system because it was like straight away or you were turned you weren't born so they kind of looked down at them the kind of looked down and he was like fuck that he was almost rebelled against the society but doing it the wrong way at the same time um but he was the one that looked into the history and looked into the law and took that shit seriously so it kind of resonated with me as well i was like oh i kind of get that i quite like that element because it could have been just a cheesy naff uh like comic book movie but the went deep with it in nikwetman type of elements and i thought um and how the interaction between like say stavendorf's character and i've gotten that guy's name he's been in a few films but like don't know lol don't know lol is it i can't say his name probably but i'm sure he's done lol he was in sv you he's fucking class uh no no it was udakur udakur i think he was called the drug and drug and drug and yes yes the um basically there head of the council yes then the interaction guy from a centura it's almost like um because he never really tells you like house like the eking frost was turned as a vampire but it's almost like he turned them because they're kind of like relationship they're like quite like their chemistry and their on-screen like tension or like sexual tension as well i thought that played out quite well and just to give you another shout out one of my all-time vampire chris is that last in the white because everyone else is wearing dark and black she was the only one that was wearing like white white like white tops white trousers white hair she stood out she stood out and just looked absolutely fantastic in this movie as well and again just smart choices put in characters like that in them type of roles and then places so that it has more of an impact and i think this is what this movie can be described as as a movie of a lot of smart choices this the use of like i was saying earlier the use of color in this movie is fantastic the red the blue is being as red as what it is especially with how you look at it's dark aesthetic everything's kind of like undergrounding and gritty and you've got this bright shine and red over it she is amongst people who are constantly wearing dark clothing yes she's a white is so bright that it contrasts with the black you know what i mean it's just such brilliant choices with the colors that they use in this movie that it kind of gets slightly overlooked and i couldn't not take my eyes off that was the one aspect i couldn't really take my eyes off i mean i even watched this movie in years oh my god look at the colors well but you don't know how did i sorry sorry sorry sorry what else i said don't know what do you feel about like how they looked in this movie like like i know your vampire or milliope no podcast how did you feel like as i've met high enough like seen them in this way No, I definitely love the grunge that of the characters and I like how you can tell it's supposed to be sitting the 90s Like the guy in the kangal top and stuff And the last and the white literally looks like just walk out like some kind of pop band really Yeah, it's because it's not it's not like it is like white PVC like white snake video is it? It's very 90s shiny PVC like very real if it was like the ray of seeing wasn't it like the hairstyle as well?
What do you want to say that like? I was going to say about the female vampire dressed in white. She was mint But I've got a bit of disappointment when it comes to her character, which is um The last I played rescue What current sorry? She was kicking ass through that film like she was like I had a fight against some of the guy vampires shot a shotgun in the warehouse shooting loads of them And then just typical like 90s 80s movie fashion that have to have a fight at the end That's like her big part.
Yeah, it's like For anyone should prove that's off against everyone else It didn't have to be a check fight at the end could be her again That would have been quite interesting see if he's against Quinn because he was a bit of a badass Always throw even though he was like kind of like the comedy relief throughout the movie type thing Um, he was a dick But you need that type of relief because this this film was played out like pretty straight But there was the odd moment that kind of broke the tension and like you kind of like what the fuck moments like um I've got my hand back Um, I think pearl for me kind of is a bit of a oh god I had to ask him this one. I was like what is pearl? But what do you mean? I was like what is pearl?
Don't know it's just a story She's the king I got out Or I don't it's just a vampire They feed on babies That was meant to be babies lying around the floor That would not have went down well, especially not but then no Rimmers fuck they wouldn't just even dole for them to die Is that with a bit of fucking dignity? I said that was just horrific saying that and quite an interesting way whether this burn at a death he isn't you Like as well just one but it's kind of like a slow death as well. So that's quite brutal But the elements are human that brought in like there's one bit I wash back and I know why because it just made us laugh so much I don't know if it was meant to be funny, but when blades get shot by the place office and he just turns on he goes You can't get that mind. It's like the way it says it was like It was like what the fuck it was like completely out to character and then like just with him shouting at him like that The place is run away from him.
It's like so that's all the pearl black man has to do in New York Is shouting what you're doing and they're running away from him, but uh, sorry If I was a police officer and I saw someone jump out of like a 20th story of a building 200 meters across to another building I'd be like Yeah Yeah, we'll just leave it. We'll leave it at that. Um, I'd love Chris Kristofferson Little in the first movie in the first one I feel like Chris Kristofferson was because they left the character saw open ended because it was was he gonna come back or not? And that's why you get this scene when he goes in after he's been beaten up and left the dead And my eyes are not initially on that sheet.
Yeah, I'm looking everywhere else but that sheet and then when my eye catches it I'm like oh shit. I'm gonna put that he's under there And I love Chris Kristofferson. I thought he was an absolutely perfect face for Whistler I just I wish we got more of that Whistler in the second and third one than what we did I like the decision to kill him because it made sense and It's a difficult one because he has a good character But bring them back the way they did didn't make sense to me and I kind of that kind of lost a little bit Yeah, exactly. I thought that was the exact word I would have used was a cop out It was kind of like oh shit.
We made a mistake. Well, you didn't you add a gravitate you gave the character more than one motivation It was it was a plot point you needed his death in order for him to just be able to keep going because you know He hasn't had it easy up to this point. You you need him to have that motivation Because he was already to take a you know a cure yeah cure this and to end it all I'm gonna go on yeah, but yeah, so we're gonna like the first blade as well So what was your favorite take where the start and the original makes it like the blood ray of what was your favorite part of the movie So I'll go go with Donna first Pick I should take a big sip there He always catches you out, doesn't he? I know it's always me That's a hard question.
I'm probably going to say When they're trying to get his blood to get the blood god And they've gotten like tied up and Kevin comes in to save him when he finds out he's mother still there I like that part but also just pretty much like every fact things like you're watching like all the fatalities out of mott Yeah, yeah, yeah, tell you after everyone and it'll just fit Did no one else freak out when he's mother's not it look like you're gonna neck on with him It did seem like overly sexual at that point. Yeah, it was the whole you mother's been dead for years and it's like Bitch, you still burst it. Please stop it Like he came out of your vagina, please Please don't try and put him in back in the vagina, but yeah No, that's a mental image for you guys Obviously what about your late what's your favorite part? I mean obviously the blood ray of which he said all in that the end fight is epic as well There's one moment which I love which isn't even anything serious and it's when That paring is running on the warehouse and mr.
Stop, sir And he's like I'm whistler and then you just see blades drop down behind it and there's Yes, whatsoever and then he just stands up and he's like and behind you's bleed I Can hear us Tonight We talked about another movie where a character did that where they just dropped silently in the background And it I mean it's instantly think of that and then I couldn't remember what it was it's not they had the right one in I don't know if we're talking about that one but that's a type of feel where like the silence Dropping in the back and it's like oh there he is But he manages to stealth up as well by doing that. I know I thought that was pretty clever Well, but you saw you watch your like highlight of the first cleared movie I actually really like the end and I love the idea of the the Vampapira council and the fact that there is this underground, you know community and it does have a hierarchy And I love the fact that when the when they're doing the sacrifice and they pull in they're kind of like skeleton I don't know what to call it because the way the CGI was I couldn't quite tell if it was a skeleton No, it was like their soul But it was their true form. They're all pure blood so they're not real it's not real people They wouldn't be a real skeleton in there and they all had wings and I thought I was just so fucking clever Granted, it didn't look the greatest on you know on a now television But back in the early like late 90s that would have looked I think brilliant But I do I love that scene and anything anything with vegan frosting. Yeah, cool I did like the fight scene in the in the hall of records like how because it went from Brilliant to absolutely ridiculous and stupid with the matter of seconds where I love the imagery of where he's punching or throwing people through them Glass peens like look great But there was two parts of that that had me pissing myself laughing that I had a rewind and watch about The first one is the little ninja girl who just start kicking blades ass and doing all these funky kicks It just ends up just not in the fuck out and the one of the Ninja guys him and blared start doing roundhouse kicks out each other miles away from each other and just like doing like almost like a Cat-a-wher done so it's like why the footies doing why you don't spin kicks out each other ways and not even close to hit each other It's like look this is my my spin kick look at this.
This is my perfect form It was almost like oh, can you read the back of me heal for us, please? Yeah That little girl Guess she probably could be a mobile real life. I can't remember on name, but she is a world championship martialized So that I did a she could literally hand me that And quick question did you watch the alternative and then or if you've not seen before can't remember I watched the one on that was probably on which so that was the original like was like that The alternative one is where Deacon Frost actually turns into the blood god itself and Anthony described it to us because he wouldn't I didn't go watch it. He's just said he was a blood love.
All right Blood love what I got that's what I got from a blood love Everyone wants to collaborate on the alternative and I'd appreciate it blood love And doesn't finish there so he defeats them exactly the same way uses the Conjuland stuff and then him and current escape outside and the like are you gonna take the cure and he's like And it looks off into the distance and there's a Van Pärständen on a rooftop, which is a michael mobius. All right, yes And that was gonna be the second movie that was gonna be the second movie Interesting, but it did not happen because there was a massive war between ownership and that doesn't it doesn't end with that It continues throughout the whole thing so there was a prequel in development in 2008 Right. So it was gonna so 2004 the last play film 2008 gonna be a prequel it was gonna feature Stephen Dolph Right But it kind of got put on a backbone to when the marvel went which is gonna take that back now Thank you and manage to sneak it back off them and in 2016 there was talks of an underworld and bleed crossover So interesting but just this is as well again marvel went no no No, was that not to do with marvel cell on the rights of all the spider spider universe the sony Potentially because it was massive arguments over where they never got a chance to use this but that was that was gonna be the second movie Interesting. I have just a chat got what you got your boss brother Just I'm not gonna complain about that but just before we start in the second movie as well And thank you for joining us distance screams as well I don't know if you've seen us before but thank you joins and jors just went would more of us use the line It's it's more than time If he didn't I'd be disappointed It's kind of been classed in the distant in the background It's more than time This little speech bubble pops up I like that I'm I'm gonna say something very controversial now where because you've just said that pretty much the well used very pretty much said that he's like the end I didn't Oh, why not?
I thought that all the complicated a bit that went too far and too much Um with like see with uh bleeds mom. I thought that was a nice thing But I thought she should have been killed off a lot sooner than she did Um, but then like going down to the temple and then having this like the serum that makes some vampires head explored and stuff like that I thought was a little bit too much and then having blared doing all these different ninja kicks and firing the The syringes into like And if taken frost it's character just it didn't look great and the big blow at the end just look shit I'll be honest with you. I could I would have preferred it like say just like a simple One on one and blared just like carving them up with these sword would have been a little bit more entertaining for me But again, I don't like all the complicated things. I'm a very simple man with simple needs Like as I say, so high to all the mothers again, but yes, um I don't love the way just jump sir and he's glasses are just in hand.
I put some on though Oh You know when he's fighting digging like custom half and he kind of really joins He just silently looks at the camera and he's like says what the fuck Yes, yes, I saw that I was like, oh, it's so cool. Um, but yeah, the glasses very kind of like They're just they're just a pain. Yeah, but then he does it in all three movies So the glasses have a mind of their own magic glasses as they can you do some magic with your glasses now Yes Audio listeners You just missed magic there you've missed the Paul Daniels saw with leader um Don't know his Debbie McGree. Do you like it?
Not a lot but you like it? Oh, thank you. So movie two is 2002 directed by gimme the other del Toro has his has not only his actors in there but his imprint the henchman I just said I loved it. I loved it.
I loved it. Yeah Yep, but the thing is all um, it's got del Toro's fingerprints all throughout this movie And aesthetically even like the monsters like the new vampires And like that that said was evolved like that look is is del Toro or two a T So I've got a few questions that kind of mixed two and three together So apologies if I'm going back with the forward. So with the second one Luke is Luke. Goss isn't it's not Matt I mean, I was a huge boss fan It was Luke.
I sure was that yeah because Luke's in hell while you're here with me. Yes, because this was his debut in in del Toro's fifth movie zag Personally, he's an excellent actor and he was brilliant in Hellboy 2 and this um but so he has a virus That is a virus and they talk about how it would get cured and the mouth thing is part of the virus, right? Well the whole vampire the whole vampire stream is a virus. That's a thing Oh, you'd agree with that that is his that that is the singular virus that he has right there.
Yeah, so how come in the third one? They have Inchant people who have the same virus. I don't get it because the third one opens up so many questions that the second one I felt answers That was it pin in it. I think I can answer it the thought that looks cool.
Oh my god But so what do you think the look of a new vampire in two? It's fucking amazing. It's like the vampires in the first one that looks in the beginning is terrifying Yeah, and they've just went help them to step this up. Let's make the mouth open into some demonic vagina Demonic vagina.
That's what we do. That's not as a new handle now That's what you think of a giant looks like my goodness And Yeah, sorry for the I got very like look like a predator cross between a sweat Yeah Almost like it was a deep rising. I think it was called like the thing that was coming out of like the ship and coming out of After a terrible baby Samuel probably covered on monsters at no doubt at one point Uh, but I think it's deep rising. I think it was called But no I as they said the thing with the blade movies the go hard and the whatman and the whatman for player two It give me hostile vibes like it was that kind of like feeling that kind of like scary weather going in like like homeless guys going to the blood bank to donate blood again They're saying oh they don't they don't want to restrict the limit and you can take them the fucking jar in the fucking jar guys And the guys shaking it and you've got look Ross as his character who If you hadn't seen any of their other times if you haven't seen any of the drillers You wouldn't have been any known that he's gonna be the main bad guy You're sort of the homeless guy to it in there But that's some interesting question like how did you get your scar?
Do you have any family to anyone nausea and he's acting like really nervous And this is like brilliantly done as well Um because I know people gave him a lot of shit for like being an actor like trying to be an actor and stuff like he's done Some awful movies as well done some big movies and stuff He has I think it's more to do with these personal life and how he's brother As simple as that his brother if anyone watched the luke and matt goss documentary they will know what I mean Um, but yeah, like that one in ways going in in the room and they think oh shit Something's got you gotta see something bad's gonna happen. This is where the film's gonna lead But then you realize like what kind of monster he is. It's fucking horrific and it's just as he said Shout out of like the 90s torture porn in a way Oh That's a good way of describing it. And I don't see his character as a bad guy Kind of same as a bit of an anti-hero because he's it's not like he's going out of his way to it's not wall domination He's after he's pretty much just looking for a fucking kiwu and he's looking for a father The kind of abandoned him so I don't see him.
It's kind of like the big bad Um, I love Even though many humans are not yeah, he turned he turned drug dealers and bad guys because it's got one of the most horrific scenes I've ever seen in a movie where he puts the guy's face through a car door And he pulls out the pane of glass from his forehead and it comes out slow and he starts licking and something on the pane of glass It's horrible As long as watching the scene oh we're gonna get that glass Well, you don't know like how do you feel about the new look in the field of these super vamps shall we say? I'm like first of all I'm like what the fuck is this? I just didn't expect it but the dude look like really badass like the more ways like vampires. I hit my eyes I just the jar like organs.
Yeah, the dude look amazing Sorry, not quite. No, I was just I was gonna say I forget my eyes No No, the whole aesthetic as we mentioned before it is del Toro down or a t like the fantasy the horrific and trying to make it as scary as possible Because this is the sequel Obviously, but they could have dumbed it down. They could have tried to Make it more palatable for more audiences to try and make more money shall we shall see it But they went no we're still gonna do it hard and they went with some interesting choices with actors as well because um People that we are known for now, but probably not as well known for in the past Like Norman, Norman Reedus And fucking darrel Dickson being that Is It's good. It's good.
It's good. It's good What our I kept it in Anthony. I was like how he's gonna turn his knee and he was like, I think he does I was like no little bastard And one thing I was saying before we move on to the characters is just for all that yes Is had del Toro's fingerprints and and markings all over the one thing I was pretty disappointed about was his choice of color Normally like del Toro is quite vibrant And I just it was kind of it didn't that It was more like what took it as way a little bit It was blue and greens in this one that was like the highlights I could say like the blue and greens was used like even when you got bitten by the new wave of vampires you've looked and green Like they use a lot of uv lights and some questionable fight scenes shall we say? Hey, hey the choreographer on this was done again.
Yeah, I'm just gonna say He didn't get more I remember three kicks from him. Like wait all in the same move as well I was getting so excited but it's done again And I was like oh shit I'm not I'm not a big I'm not a big well known done again fan But I know he's some of his work But was this his first big western movie like trying to break through because he was No, I don't think so I don't think it was I'm trying to think what else he was in before this I mean and from Star Wars And And again, I know we did mention it before because I'll come back to the fight scene I'll give give some time. He's the type of sunny little time to do on that one and but The whistler subplot like the whole trying to find him and then they're getting A new comedy like bad guy in like that bleeds Jason down in Russia I think it is the guy who hilariously when he's when Like a motorbike helmet and he's putting it up against the wheel You can see before he hits the wheel like the cut in the helmet where it's gonna come apart It's clearly in there and you can see what's gonna happen and it comes apart Like I don't care if you've got none of tire nothing comes apart that cleanly as well um But the whole whistler side plot and having to get whistle back it kind of D-realed where this story could have went or could have been more interesting because we could have got more blared They could have given more screen time to other characters that didn't that needed a little bit more fresh No where whistler didn't if that makes sense. Yeah I was just laughing at grussey and I liked the mist of being filmed where they painted whistlers man If I just want to go about it down the end so I can get this off my screen Um, I think you are absolutely very full Bleed to is his first it's first western movie, but it's not his first choreographed movie No, no, no, I'm I was surprised he didn't have much like I don't think even like I think he has two words or something in the woman He doesn't say he doesn't have any dialogue.
I thought he had No, he doesn't say any So to like um At all for whatever he's called My point is called like that's what we're stuck up and calling them I like it was called Reinhardt Never heard Some of the scenes on little head But yeah, because I thought when I read back we're not read like when this came out I thought this was introduced and donny end to the western world and then he did a few more films after this since then But this is like a lot of people I went to college with was excited because they had seen him in like martial arts movies or like in eastern cinema And this was supposed to be like his big breakthrough because he was supposed to be the next big action star that was coming through he was gonna be the next gently type thing Yeah, absolutely. Um, I am monkey is the one he's really famous for that's the one he won all these awards for But he was working from 1983 movie every year and not even two and then he gets to Bleed to and it just goes from strength to strength because I think Shanghai nights and Tiger dragon tiger gear if man is the big one. Yeah, um What were they called the blood pack with it? And the wind and the wind through every single stereotypical type of person that coded like in a gun They went from a big burly Russian with the hot blood the red head they went He was like the Russian girl.
What purpose did she have in that hall? I don't care. She needed to be in there for me That's all she was there for and not fit in at all. I would have fit her in anything.
I would have put out of her anywhere I felt didn't fit in that was that amazing fight in front of the air spotlight through some bad CGI in it But it was still really but that's a thing that's what it's like No, Danny Jan Jules was amazing in this Do you use the rest of the term I marked out in the cinema when I watched this at the cinema and seen like Danny Jones I was like fuck. Yes, it's the cat from red dwarf. He's in a movie. He's gonna be big in Hollywood I was getting you go cat, but then it didn't quite happen.
He didn't trouble him paradise for a few years. Um, but no, um Um, it was labyrinth before this don't worry. Um We are the fight scene and the spotlight one why the fuck did he turn the spotlight on? That didn't make any sense because they look fucking cool.
No, again That's if you're gonna do things for fun to look cool have a reason for it That didn't make sense then the actual fight scene was absolutely some of the best sword fights You've seen in cinema at this point. Um, cleverly done how he unshaves the sword how he's fighting like Disreporn and um because he doesn't want to kill them straight away He wants like to know what to run on and then they add the CGI CGI elements because one you couldn't physically do them elements like practically But it added nothing to the fight the actual CGI parts in because it's like a few frames like one when the jump of the end and Bleer get kicked the floor then dizzy little kick up then does 360 somersaults, uh, but no reason no reason at all like why would you do it? Tacken someone with a sword. Why would you need to do a 360 somersault?
But yeah, it didn't make sense. It didn't add anything to say they're kind of detracted Like that scene could have been one of the best sort of fighting scenes. I practically done that was ruined a little bit by CGI CGI no Anthony kept pointing out the CGI moments. I was like you really don't need to admit I've got eyes I can see And but I just I feel like this is a time where CGI is kind of like just at the fourth Like it's just starting to emerge and it's ass is when we're watching it I feel like they would just we've got it We're gonna just fucking use it in every which way that we possibly can and for all that it might not work It might it might work and I just feel like it was just I think this is like a tester CGI You want to look at these a movie that tests out all the CGI from 2002 It's lit up but then like all we're through the fight scenes Uh, I'd say the gore from this point They were having them in ridiculous areas like it almost become like a Mortal Kombat stage like when uh blade fights look Grossers Jared for the first jar of normal for the first line It's on this platform like almost like in a church where there's like the platforms like about a foot like that What foot wide each why would you decide to have your first face off a fight where it's not sure what footing It's not solid ground it fan of it looks great because you're above the air and it gives up little like sense of oh Someone's gonna fall off but as a fight fighting point instead stands it takes away like that realm of like realistic and then um like throughout like the Ninjas or the vampires were doing kickflips off walls like blade one time runs up the wall kicks off it and fires back around The stab them when you can just turn around and stab them It's like why the fuck you like making banoff It's like oh that's a cool move but like in a real fight Like it's wasted motion and if that kind of thing kind of took it away and took it away and took it away Like on blade three the most ridiculous one and it's just a little thing is they're going down the walkway And one of the vampires jumps the fight blade and he lands on the hand reel He lands standing on the hand reel and he just stands there going ha and blade of stands looks at him kicks it kicks someone else then swipes his legs and stabs him It's like he doesn't even try to attack blade he jumps down stands in the hand room goes ha So it's like there's a lot of weight in these movies.
Yeah, so it's yeah, it's like we could all just attack them at the same time But no we've got to let him do 16 kicks and 16 flips. Oh, he's done his cool little motion now Let's let's attack them or let's throw my punch. It's like It's just a typical movie from the way it's like yeah Quick everyone attack them separately give them a chance to defend himself instead of in blade one the holes are wrong in the one point Yeah Because the new progress Yeah, this one just needed to slow it down a bit. Um, did anyone recognize who played daddy dearest luke gosses dad?
Oh, kind of number now. What was he? He's in I can't remember his actual character name now, but he's in um, went to soldier and age of Ultron. He is one struck him Ah kind of a top is it?
We will never surrender. Tell them we will surrender. Right. That's him.
It took me I was like, I know them. I know that fear somewhere and I was like, oh, that's all I remember him from me Kind of made a bit of an impact then because he's not in a very long But yeah, he's very much like the master of the party He's like trying to get away as quickly as possible like take your book on robot mid you will move faster To be further when you're watching the movie it's like Smotten the who's who I was like who's done certain films or certain tv shows in America A lot of people did get the starting point. Um, but again, so what elements of play to um, I was just making sure that don't take a swipe of the The thing that what elements of play to did you find like slow for you the most? Um, probably the fights in the tunnel I would say some of the like comedic lines.
Oh, and you know when they go into the like wave bit And then the Oh, Reinhardt when he's got point of the laser I was like, oh, I could just shoot me because I got the laser pointing back and then Blid just gives us like Really smile at him. That's definitely a special woman There was a lot of like little moments like that through this one where it's like this doesn't quite fit in with the character that blades God, but I did like the fact that blid always has one on Reinhardt But the fact that he just smiles at him with a cheesy smile just was kind of like yeah, but um, like what I did like as well um, they went into the anatomy of the new vampires as well and That was grotesque as fuck but also so cleverly done how they like explained how yes, this is why they're so difficult to stab This is why they don't react to certain things. It's like they're being genetically altered or Manufactured to be the ultimate killer machine so that their species became the most on it because yeah To be honest like vampires have a lot of plus things for them But fuck the must be easy to kill or you have to do is shine a bit like on them or stab them in a certain way and the turning like Exploding or giving some garlic bread Oh, I'll just like give them a silver fork. He's an actual swethas when I that Oh I don't like The heart like and kissed and born as well as I'm It's kind of because they were even though the body was or the brain was dead the body was still alive It was still hungry it was still first in because that's a word The quite like to give you the name is Reminders of Lee when he sees the blood of a virgin he gets up first in a bit like oh Oh, he's gonna come now You don't know that first guy yeah He's called on our own and he says I'm gonna be gonna truck driver today, but yeah We we wanted food last night and I paused it on that very scene As I went to go and get me food sorted out came in that is Anthony can you just press play a second?
And he was like why so quickly I went because I didn't fancy fucking eating me food I'm looking at that at the same time like that was pretty detailed And then I remembered who the director wasn't thought we caused this detail. It's still toral He's gonna he's gonna show you everything you know what I did love about this movie as well And that's just jumping ahead as well. Um one of the things I did stand out is they kind of Shored one like because you got the princess vampire I've got an ear now She was proud of being a vampire and Miss her what she's called miss her. I think she was like proud not ashamed of who she is And she was kind of like asking me to ask questions about himself saying why are you ashamed of who you are?
What you are typing you don't have to live your life against us type thing You could live your life any way to where you want and it kind of raised that type of moral like morality question as well Because she was born a vampire. She didn't have a choice It wasn't like say a thing And again like her line when she dies as well as is when she was starting to turn She's like I want to die a vampire so Blair takes her out and says a son sign for the first time Which is getting like quite a strong moment. Um you don't get many vampires using that type of an argument in these type of movies It's not like we're evil. This is cool.
Titing where she was like no, it's it's just who I am It's almost like I can't help who I am so I thought that was quite interesting to you I actually really enjoyed that character she come to grips with who she was a long time before you get to meet her in this movie And you write it, you know, it van pied the vampire tropies were evil So let's just do evil things, you know Let's just let's be bad guys with the sick of being bad guys and she wasn't like that I loved her costume. The hair clip in the back of her hair. She looked Striking and I would like to have seen more of her. I'm pretty sad that she died But she would never have continued into bling.
Let's be honest. Like to bled now and for not liking current was the curry or we say Like the people last on the first one you just won't even get to mention Karen Karen who was like the current existence universe at all And I'm gonna make more like saving throws and then she just disappears Yeah Bled's the dick so fuck off Oh and I was good. How'd he's way with her and he's like no I'm not doing this good anymore I'm not doing that was my god's good. Oh my god that line where he's like One person I want to talk about and I thought he was absolutely brilliant in this one as well Ron Pelman Oh Ron Pelman the man can do no wrong He's just entertaining from the moment he's in like he made like Alien resurrection kind of watchable with his character in that as well, but in this I thought he was just having fun being The bad guy being the monster and his little temper tantrums from time to time was hilarious When um like priests getting killed and no one wants to like shoot him He like throws a table over there.
God dammit. Just take him out and it's like it's just quite an attaining to watch to be honest Yeah, he's such a good kind of literal permanent. He's just class But as said and when these guys were introduced I was like fuck I am getting mega aliens vibes from this like the whole crew aspect Like I just need Bill Paxton to walk in at some point and then Antoine alien resurrection and I'm like who's she yeah I've got to ask a question not Lee Lee Dear blush It was nice I put that in because somebody actually asked him that in real life. Obviously like very racist It was like oh, this would be an amazing moment of evidence I love their pissing contest that yeah All the way through and it's like It doesn't really seem like he's got a strategic mind ever throughout the whole trilogy It is just what's your plan of attack attack Yes, go in to this group that are that have been training for years just kill him And it basically goes in picks the biggest guy and makes them his bitch That's a bully in tactic, isn't it when it comes down to bullies you always go for the biggest one You take them out the rest of them all just fuck like fall but so why do we always pick on Chris?
Why do you always pick Chris? It's not just me I am not saying anything else to us that's Chris Chris is a dick. Well, yeah, I've forced it a dear It's true. Um, so which character stood out for you the most though Donna?
Oh, that's tough. Um Got a thing in there Like how do you say name is it nis ditha? Nis ditha nis ditha I like her with Dan Nis ditha Just story with the dad and nomak definitely stood out for me Yeah, it was really sad like um because she's quite a strong woman all way through this And it kind of gets her like broken down a little bit that she is just a pawn in dad's plan But to be further, uh, and that's gonna sound really insensitive and personal But if you're a vampire and you've got a million babies or a million sires or a million kids Would you really be bothered as much about individuals? Like you might have a favorite No, but as a as a whole because you do get people who like not to get like go off track But you're people who like train armies and stuff like having to send the soldiers off that they know what they're gonna die Um, it's kind of like that type of relationship where I think there's this cosy lawyer because there's always got your scuzzy lawyer Say something.
Um, sis ditha You've already lost so many men how many more do you have to lose and he just goes all them I don't care till we get what we want I think yeah, scuzzy lawyer you need to be eaten by T-Rex for sure Oh, I really enjoyed and I'm gonna say look goss Thought he was class. Yeah, I thought he was such an interesting character and quite a lot of depth in it as well Like because that could have been just a one-nord bad guy that could have been like almost joker-esque type thing Yeah, really complex. Um, really like I don't know. He's just like he's torn a voice as well was quite chilling like oh when he spoke He kind of like you had to listen to what he was saying You had he demanded your attention with the way that he spoke and almost like you summy The voice of the BBC What about you Lee?
Any moment that he's in is just rolled like you know that he's gonna fight Lived off at the end like but there's all this tension all the way through with Ron Perlman And it's like and he's like teasing him with his button and it's like beating in the back of his head and it's like oh wins It's gonna happen and then even when he takes it out, it's like all right now something has to come of it They're gonna have to have a bright fight Blad come with a ball of that blood for all man. Yeah, that's what that's what got us with it I was referring to earlier it's watered down I was like oh my god if I had the blood from the first one in that moment there I would have been beautiful and then the spoiler to with the glasses This moment where he's like gonna be the ultimate badass and it locks on real and you get whistled one Hey played! Hikes the matter and he bladed his name over and it's like yeah that kind of Oh didn't make me think it's not necessary but it still looks badass We're gonna have to try and demonstrate this now we're gonna have to go to a place where Donna's standing there Like with the back door so we all have to throw a stuff at her and see what she can catch them I was gonna say something on the back of what Lee was saying now I've totally forgotten Me and the thoughts just gone What we want to say is that moment coming with their dad How freaking creepy is he fingers he's creepy as a sort of... Where are they?
They're for salad fingers I'll just kind of explain that Who's he fingering? Probably No he's cr- salad fingers and Lee I know it's very like Nastraar to in the type of lock and fail I'm glad they went with the old school of like the bad guy and stuff like that That made it a little bit more but as you said Del Toro always was gonna like try and get more down the classical universal because he is such a universal monster fan as well Yeah he's so much of a fan when he has to do a remake of Creature and Universal said no one even fucking fine I'll do me all Some say it not me but some say it's really better but yes controversial Hey I can't argue with it either because one is brilliant and the other one is even more brilliant I'm one one oscars and one yes Can I give some shout outs to Skutt getting owned like multiple times with this for them and well deservedly as well like um Whistler comes back and he's like trying to like do all of this stuff and it's like no this list of like pop dog here pop is good and then he goes to grab the gun that's good like hey you can't use that I didn't just even try and fight back though that's a thing he just takes it a little bit and then the end just with the by the way it's not a dirt Well I think if it is reaction there you would think you would react a little bit one he was just like oh shit he could have threw that That was a lot of Norman readers being splattered everywhere that was like that's one person because that's a lot for one person And one question I have got a rise above Lid how quick does a fucking heel to other vampires because he got like metal things pushed through multiple holes in his arm his legs and he like another other orifices wherever the pork threw and when he took it in the blood pool fair enough he didn't even have a scratch where Ron Poemann like still had the burn marks and still had scars from hours after being torched by the light bombs now like see that to me is where W he's slower but then he gets it in just a lot of blood and that's what makes him heal so quickly right where's like the one palman guy has a little tag of blood all right he looks quickly yeah so I'm getting schooled by don't know yeah yeah it's a good way of looking at it because he's got a thing he is controlled by what he gets isn't he bleeds he gets what he gets and it's enough to keep him to the level of where he's been but then he's beezed in the blood of many yes and the first movie when he's like practically on like death stop but then Kevin gives him the blood and he does the screen because he's got like all her healing power going she should have died right there and now she's going to be talking it would have been more sense to the film for how long do we there but then she should be days but that would have been quite an interesting talking point from the second movie perspective because if blade was by yourself if whistler had died he'd kill currently he'd be more tortured and we would have gotten more interested in bleeding this movie because that's the one that's the one like a lot of characters through franchises and everything do get a lot of growth I don't think blade changes are growers at all through these all three films he stays exactly the same blade that he is from blade one to the end of blade and I think that's a missed opportunity like for the movies yeah absolutely they look like you disagree oh you're great we're shiny hair though thank you lee fringes looking very on point today I might say like it's yeah you're going back to the email stage are you showing the elder emo is that you are still here I feel like I'm actually yesterday I was at the very center and went to Jen's smelim crystal and I got Laura a t-shirt seeing emo in the megan or so yeah never left anymore so shout out to mittle em see yes lovely Jen is doing some stickers for us as well so we might have some new stickers shiny shiny stickers that's for shinies as well yes so blade three yes wait wait there without something okay what you've got to mention this guy the guy with the helmet was about like I got you mentioned at the end of the scene going into that uh pokemon palace of color of course not a room remembers the prostitute scene and he's pictures and he's weirded out and he's like didn't think I forgot about you did yeah but the whole like stain is creepy as fuck the one he's calling in he's like oh just to get the blood flowing the thing is how is the women are they alive are they very alive or something like that and he's like yeah kind of thing so you got your info shock he's massive and he's got a sword em yeah so blade three is directed by the writer of the first movie which is David Escoya comes out in 2004 and what a shit storm of a movie this is not just what you get on the screen but everything behind the scenes yeah glee what Lee's got some interesting facts he's gonna fall on as well from behind the scenes and i just give the one that really tickles my funnyborn so badly that um i'm so glad and give us a heads up because otherwise i think i would have chocked the end scene so when he's on the slab yeah and he's lying down Wesley snipes through an absolute fucking hissy fit before going on to the scene that he refused to open his eyes they see ji eyed his eyes open look at the scene again in his eyes i'll see ji they are not fucking real and i am so glad and told me that because i would have wet myself but yeah he took a huge hissy fit and and refused to open his eyes but this is he was so he was awful during this he did a daniel dillowiss and was like he caught me bladed and nobody was to call him wisley he wouldn't talk to me he wouldn't talk to Ryan Reynolds on set what he has anyhow because he was being in character but Ryan Reynolds says i've never met wisley snipes i've only ever met bladed they are i feel like this is probably because of Ryan Reynolds really? when he snipes haven't happened to spend like a europe shooting listening to Ryan Reynolds make all of his jokes and like ad libs and stuff like when the walk in the long end he's like and you might want to try bling in once in a while that's not in the script he stops and like death stares and that is that's not bled that is Wesley snipes but this was Ryan Reynolds big brick though wasn't it this was his uh well that's what i was asking and because he looked what i was thinking is this before or after um once i'm maybe am an evil because he looks the same physiquise beard wise and what he didn't have he goes i didn't know where they lay i think i mean i could have got a good idea hey rich tv show and then uh i also saw him there as a Nathan fully interested yeah it's Johnny he was always Johnny to us from two guys like oh you can only call him captain which movie do you say sorry Van Wilder Van Wilder? Van Wilder yes i fucking love Van Wilder I think it's so funny i've been probably hasn't dated very well no um like the ball scene with the Bulldogs just no no no um but yeah um but yeah this was because i know he did a few little like breakout movies and stuff but this was supposed to be his one to go mega-star him and i'll see it he is the best thing in the movie yeah i don't think he's the worst at all i think his name's horrific a horrible king i feel he chose that it is it is a comic book character though it's part of bled history like it is one the comics bled law um i there was choices a lot of choices in this movie can i just give a shout out triple h um in this um for some reason for some reason having silver tape on a silver platinum tape and this for a van by um did he have his fangs removed or was he just playing vampire but yeah that was an interesting toy it was a weird choice i love triple h's one of the best bad guys ever really just in life like he looks playing a bad guy that's actually a good injury i would have liked again i'm gonna go on record as in if part of pausing and triple h's were the main bad guys in this movie and that's left off um the whole Dracula subplot or drug please um of dominica percel which was a strange choice for the movie but i can understand why the using Dracula because bled and Dracula did crosshorns so many times in the model comics as well that's that's the that's the debut in 1970 it's from two of the two of the Dracula which is where bled is first brought into it so it does make sense to have Dracula why why Dominic percel yeah one he's tiny two he's fucking unintracting he's really an uninteresting person he's blandered fock he had the most boring eyes like when he was looking at things i was like just show up at a personality just trying to spark a little bit i would even like Edward colander pop in just to give you a little bit of a fluffer or anything like that he saw it was absolutely terrible choice and for that mind didn't mind the fact it was Dracula not the idea i love the idea i love don't like the cell as well turning off what the whole the whole tone of this movie like it kind of shifted because bled one and bled two was all i said dark colors set in the night setting this was mostly in the dear time a lot of the things and saying like saying blader run around in the streets during the day didn't quite have the same effect as them run through like in the night it kind of it felt like a maid for TV maybe yeah kind of um Jessica Beale so they had to they had to move that a theater run and like a trailer going and someone added in there Jessica Alba playing wasla and not Jessica Beale had to be removed instantly in the name change and can't stand her really constantly i know you're i know you've said in the past you're not a fan of Jessica Beale and what really annoyed the fans off is though is the placement of the iPod they're really with so that hard today i didn't yeah oh i thought he had to explain to bleeds hmm that's the whole thing makes no sense like oh she likes to listen to playlists well she's but i'm gonna give you an in-depth i'm gonna give you an in-depth breakdown of why she does oh okay okay so the um the headphones i'm sorry we're all we're all use headphones in the past then focus would get caught on everything and they'd be ripped out of her ears i could even do the garden in one time without you can't catch in it and being pulled out do you guys ever like you'll go out walking somewhere do you ever have headphones in while you're walking around yeah yeah no if you walk down some dodgy looking alley do you take your headphones out absolutely i'm not doing the past what i do i was gonna say though if you don't i should put the blindfold on because then expect a good time i have these listen in the music do i mean that a perception would be completely off yeah because the music would be thrown out she wouldn't have a go it's a ridiculous choicely didn't get another fan of hers but i do want to make a retraction um we said on so parka porsey i really like parka porsey and anth was like why don't we sing her anymore and i said well she wasn't scream three but according to dan she's a nasty supervisor and oh wow okay and then he went and googled it and he was like you fucking idiot porsey parkie porsey parka was the nasty sympathizer not parka porsey and i was like ah who's the fuck's that and he went who the fuck is that you just outed someone as a nazi and you slandered her a bit oh i can't wait for that lawsuit to come in um he was saying it was it was a common thing when it came out that she was branded the sympathizer when it natural fact that someone who uses a name very similar to hers when the other way around at least let's see parka porsey at least we found out what happened to Dexter's dad hey harry but i don't know i'm gonna say some positive stuff about this maybe like ryan reynolds was absolutely hilarious he was entertaining this fuck to watch um he did have even though wesney snipes hate him he did have good chemistry in this i thought parka porsey had great chemistry with ryan reynolds them too but not each other was thing i think if you use triple h that would have come up across more and pause them i would have even preferred to have triple h as dracula i thought that would have looked more better and looked more interesting anything other than jonmy fursil i do like the little pompe i thought that was hilarious little pom vampire it's when ryan reynolds realises because obviously he's seen that the problems of is it is got the got the fangs and when he realises the two other while there's coming up behind him he's like oh shit they're gonna win all aren't they we've worked oh i do love that the pomeranian was cute though so did you like anything of the movie that i don't know um i was mixed on it but i'm once yeah i didn't mind um dominek personal i didn't hate them as much as you guys but i think that's because i had a soft spot for him after prison break yeah i don't know why i don't make this out as well because prison break isn't it yeah but he was it he was at a ten in prison break well he wasn't at a ten in just the other ten in just more and in people to bounce off uh he just played the the the wounded victim in prison break in this i kind of got the vibes that they wanted them to go in that like has like a kind of empty personality vibe i thought that that's what they were going for like vacuum typing possibly like because he's been alive for like so long kind of thing um but i did like ryan reynolds in it um the way that when like when they're in blier get arrested they're like oh who's going to help you now and then ryan reyn reynolds are smashers through the glass of nowhere i did like that because you're a rescue blade um there was a line this is the greatest line in any movie and in any franchise ever that i hope was ad libbed if it wasn't ad libbed at this point you cock juggling thunder cunt i think we should call each other that as every time i make you're like hey you cock juggling thunder cunt um i love you man it felt like it felt like a line straight out of deadpool yes it really did it felt like a line straight out of deadpool and then we announced like how many superhero movies as ryan reynolds now got under his belt to be fair in the new deadpool we could actually say Hannibal king versus deadpool so he is killing the like the fox university so um he's got the interest there is rumors that wesley snipes is going to be bled enough in secret wars as well oh my god i do you know what i love the fact that mccooshan alley is going to be taken the bledney and going forward with it and i feel like he's going to be taking this really seriously like he needs to this needs to make a statement it needs to make a point um but i just i said that's like it would be a fucking travesty if wesley snipes is not at least brought into it in some measure because he was he was fucking fantastic as his character secret wars is like the rumors um i know love that and all i'm i'm nicholas kage's meeting pussby mitties marvell daview as johnny blayers in deadpool again get them all back in i absolutely love that idea um what's going to say something about the no match they'll come back to us the only thing again because i know all as you said it was this movie was plagued with back like backstage uh shenanigans to say the way because of wesley snipes um but even certain things bladed during this movie that kind of felt weird like when the warehouse was blew up and wistler died that scream like that weird scream he did like and then uh pours him and all the police kind of surround him type thing it was kind of like i don't understand where this is going and then what was the team called the night stalk was with it was that the london sprossed because that's when he said it sounds what was it i wrote it down somewhere or something about um being a knockoff like uh cart oon on a satid mornin i just remember we were going to go with the carebearers but then on the ticket i feel i feel like that must be an ad lib by ryan realms i just think ryan realms was saying stuff on set just to try and get like a reaction or okay like something from wesley snipes just to see how far i could probably push him um possibly i mean i've just remembered what i was going to say so wesley snipes is character this one might be a bit different because they cut his dialogue by 80 percent they cut so he doesn't he barely says a thousand words um because of how fucking difficulty was being this is like your punishment you're not getting in you're not going to talk you just have to listen to ryan realms for the rest of the time and i'm sure they must have put stuff in just to wind them up as well because you can see his reaction when that psychiatrist guy's talking about like sexually being attracted to blood and you can see wesley snipes kind of looking at him like what the fuck are you talking about like it's kind of like a real reaction in that moment uh but yeah like there's loads of like uh like spot if you want to spot a character from like american movies or tv shows this is a movie to do it there's a whole host of little cameos like that psychiatrist is one of the guys who does the um like commentary on pitch perfect and so it is oh that was doing my heading i was like where do i know him from parka pousie could have been replaced with elizabeth banks and i would have never have known the difference it could have easily swapped them two out halfway through but you could say that you could say the same about the hunger games like say the good you could have had them look exactly like and i was like i got quite easily say elizabeth banks in here but i could also see parka pousie playing every trinket yes i quite like this so someone just sent the chat yesterday night stop is that's what the nice talk about the nice talk is but at names not that have a glam vampire shop scene where the farting vampire is oh i i cramp so hard i could have been like a vibrator and dracola wasn't it yeah dracola made me laugh i was that goth kid gonna do to donnie person on hey funny it's like square on like like you want to kiss me pretty boy and i was like even if he wasn't a vampire he's fuck you up i had a positive here because i didn't look what's in my and i noticed that they're called goth guy wannabe and goth vixen wannabe and the credits right really oh god she got it all bit fun to see though she probably loved it a little bit when he starts biting her but um like again it's just a scene that's not done well it could have been more scary more intimidating but instead it's just more cringe at times i was like watching the episode of the office you see the dialogue is so bad it's just cheesy like that one it kissed me pretty boy and what was it like say um too bad we got to take on all the vampires now we got to take all the rest of the world too and you know what's really bad is the guy who directed it wrote the first one yeah and the first one has this amazing dialogue and it's like what the fuck happened and the guy who wrote it and the guy directed had to do that something to do with it was one the writing team on the dark knight and on that begins so so he knows how to write good comic book dialogue or like vaccines it's just i think again probably studio influencing we need to do this we need to show this yeah that's what was pissing up was the first place was the studio um input was far too much but he just took it out and everyone else you know but like the one scene again and i know it's a movie and i know what you're supposed to have dispensed disbelief and be all yay but the scene where they have the fear stuff on the top of the building like uh blade versus drachina and drachina's holding the baby and he's getting yeah your uh your weaknesses you care too much about these humans these ants and blades to stand there looking at him and he and he goes aha i'm gonna get away now and throw as a baby throws the baby in the air and instead of just going over to catch the baby he does a somersault to the left that probably took more time than taking the sides there to catch the baby it's like yeah i'm gonna be a cool catch this baby it's like dude you nearly dropped the baby because you want it to be not cool you're a dick and we'll get the little koo-choo-choo oh we need that sound bite now we've done a go on koo-choo that's thing bridge could it so much because you've got like this like fancy warrior drachina guy and he says we're fucking running away from blade and then they're like the same way they're running up about ten flights of stairs and they make it look like now because i don't need this sweat like i was in the best i've done like one foot and flight yeah i was exhausted actually i was like it's gonna end soon and they would be dead he would just pass out on the floor and say just leave me i'm gone it's over um he's the big warrior like why why you just run away why you're not fighting them but then yeah at the end they just have to hold speeches like oh they wanted the perfect vampire this and they've got you typing but then they again do the ultimate cop out it's like how can we kill drachina with a virus um it seems like they went through every play that went right like we'll play a doctor dot with any little thing that we can do that make this any every bit as uninteresting as it can be and it's sad to say that because the characters were really good they're quite interesting and they had the groundwork to make this something special and it kind of kind of just fell flat and again just go back because i feel like i'm shitting on the movie so i'm sorry anyone who's listening we don't only do this but it is hilarious um the bit where blade breaks out the chill the surrounded by cops like they can't get anywhere and there's some do in the car just pulls up go get me into dudes and drive up and do nothing yeah the place don't chase them that says this is the surrounded by police why are they moving forward how is that can't even get in there in the best place if this was real life it'd be all over but now they just back another time of win and again and again we see what happens not to see i'm being stereotyped or anything as well like the runnth uh this when the chase scene has gone aside through new york in a daylight you've got a like a six foot old black man holding a sword and the back of his court in new york he's going to be gunned down pretty quick uh that though they were taken taken out within seconds where's the first film he's standing with a policeman at the back of the car with people just walking past and he's just holding a gun to this guy's head as mean like he's a familiar like but nobody even but is an eyelid like that guy with a sword on his back yeah it's it could be so much better and it's it's one of those things where i can understand why they didn't want to make any things and i think they did try and revamp or redo blade after this it's on the tv store it was a tv store but then that is it because wesney snipes comes to prison and i think he held the rights to it as well though because wesney snipes had um like they have to make any other blade film that had to get his permission to do it oh that makes sense why why the time passes and obviously he's in jail doing his stint for a tax evasion and model get the rights back but distant screams just put a fun fact in the chat it was originally deconfrost that bit and turned Hannibal in the graphic novels all right i knew Hannibal did play a part that's why the name so i was hilarious yeah it was in the movie doesn't sit doesn't he see it i'll bite you again so i think the kind of mention it slightly hmm i know because um because in the what's it he's talking about oh because that was scud it was backpacking with the twins yeah it kind of hints i don't know if it hints at that part of paussus' character turned him in the film but it kind of kept him as a pet yeah that's the impression i got was that he was just a little play at all yeah well yes it wouldn't want ryan runnels as a play toy i think it'd be hilarious well again if i'm playing devil's i feel if i was the one that was making this movie um again like tater whistlers i like side bit i would you don't need that um you don't you don't need whistlers daughter again that just plays into the thing again have other people fighting van by is yes i like that element have triplage as drachia it works as a much more important character much more scarier and just i say i have a dark like blade needs to be dark it needs to be like more blades in the light so the less scary and the less uh interesting like say the movie becomes but that that's just my little take on that bit there how would you do it any different would you do any different things on it you see like i think that i did too much comedy to this but then i'm also like thinking i don't think we would have got ryan runnels as deadpool without him in this with the comedy so i'm like i would have made it darker i think it didn't sit like the other two movies i don't think but i haven't seen that some of the comedy did make us laugh like um the bit where i was like number one you've got a shithead or number two i just ate a lot of garlic and i've just farted but i mean i didn't really it doesn't seem like something that should be in a blared movie though no no and that leaves in one of the most horrific bits in the whole trilogy for me i don't know if it's because i'm a dad now and it's like when they say what if we turn here and leave you to get home yes and then we ring this girl in and the camera comes to her and she's just got these like pop you don't guys and it's like oh no like you feel for her yeah not and again rim that part is probably one of the best things in blared trinity it felt like a blared moment that that's probably one of the first blared moments that we had in the whole the blared trinity because blared trinity does not feel like a blared movie it feels like a uh an episode of ny uh i what's it called a criminal minds or something laura no no laura is going with with a few of us with a few vampires kicked in which is a bit of a disappointment but um it could have been so much more and it could have led on to a lot more of the franchise but as we know they're kind of killed off the blared movies from then on because i think blared trinity was a bit of a flop like sales wise box office wise it did i think it did well in david e i think i think the david e and release did well and that's where like the character has always had a bit of an interest but i think the potential is always there especially like now we're getting more adult stories and adult things in the marvel universe so there is a place for blared it's just going to be interesting to see how they bring them into the marvel mcu without the whole multiverse tagline or tagged onto it now because um it would be nice if they'd keep away from the multiverse like oh you just say yeah because multiverse like it would be and if they brought it in a more of an interest in way um and worry that the disney and never gonna do blared like we got in nighty eight but daredev- i'm not daredev- uh deadpool is going to be the blueprint to see what we get it's like if we get a disney daredev- uh deadpool then i am gonna be scared but deadpool is generally one of the first disney movies in a long time uh marvel movies that i am generally looking forward to i think it could be quite interesting i know we're gonna have to go out there from the center of if we've done a course he's just gonna have to take a towel with wolverine and ujakman being there because it's gonna get quite nice to a real blazer um is it done or who's done or is it you who's got the deadpool costume don't i feel it's a like dodgy look and mask and that's about it i think you should i think you should wear the dodgy look and mask that he comes in the spider man suit and he's already he's already came many a times and this one is my man join us any of you stick around to the end of this movie like how you quickly moved away from the movie i'm really doing that i've done it i mean it's only one i made a mistake i forgot two i'm talking to yes i can't remember what it is oh it's literally driving in a car off screen oh is that it that's it i was like i was like and there's an end credit scene in this i was like yes do you want a weather fawnic fear oh well this is what we're getting oh great to be further one the best end credit of the universe we're going wow i'll get you next time how you up to god that's on the list mind because i hope you love that one one day one day we will talk to ourselves with that one um so as a franchise where would you stack the blade franchise with the other franchises that we got can i just add a couple more things in the literally i'll cover it another really dark moment that we get um the human blood bank factories yes back back people as well and all brain dead people that just kept alive on machines very matrix or isn't it like the human battery yeah i've got that company supply of blood and i've also got a question which i just i can never think of an answer to right that's familiar that he confuses for a vampire and kills him that guy was uh told to set blade up wasn't he yeah what was he gilvit because all the other familiars get made in the vampires eventually i guess he just made a happy it could be it's like it could like i have a family member that's gonna get money or stuff i have a yeah i don't think the one that think with that one ball is just you're gonna die you're gonna die bitch and take a stab in the face and and like it um yeah i worked it at the end you know like obviously when one blade's lying there where the fuck did you go because it wasn't that the end oh i know do you want to know go on that so oh it was an alternate there was going to be an alternate engine that didn't quite care to it to where somebody comes in to god i've told it that last night because someone comes in and takes them away and it's another big character within the marvel sony universe and i can't think who it is on or lee why don't you read this bit i don't know all i can remember is that the we're gonna do a spin-off and have a i don't know it's gonna be an end clip of Hannibal and Jessica Beel are the way it was there was always going to be like a the plan was for the spin-off with Jessica Beel's and Hannibal King's characters to get the spin-off after this movie but it bombed so much that it didn't didn't get made like um the script's supposed to be getting like peer to be wrote and stuff and as soon as it got released it just everything stopped but yeah this was supposed to be like the almost like the blade universe where they're gonna have like the Hannibal King and Jessica and Whistler i think that's it i've just got it i'm so sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry so the body and the morgue so the reason why blade is there and he isn't body and the morgue is a natural fact Drake right he transforms into blade and allows blade to escape and it's him who's in the morgue not blade i think the i've seen that the latest thing it was basically is like my final gift for you is that you can get away there i've got hence the reason why the end credit scene is the is him driving off in a car because you know he escaped it all makes sense now i've got way too excited there because i remember and telling us about it and now he's gone oh yeah that makes sense he's not he's not there right now he's gone yes so where would you rank the franchise in like like the other franchise except here are franchises that we've got like the spider anthology the x-men movies the fantastic four movies i'm talking from which often pre MCU i'm guessing pre MCU because you kind of like see you kind of really put that in the thing because it depends where you could go like stage one stage two stage three type thing but yeah that would be a whole different conversation for a different day so pre MCU oh it's shorter as you it's so hard because every single part apart from fantastic four you can't i can't in my mind i just can't um but every other one like x-men spider-man and blade all have an individual film in it that is brilliant and the rest are kind of like wah wah they spider-man two x-men two blade one kind of like to be further you pick the wrong x-men movie though uh sorry logan x-men two is amazing logan is the best x-men movie ever made i didn't we're talking pre MCU so we're talking pre logan's not even being made yet logan has what logan came up in like two thousand yeah yeah old man logan story yeah it's still not that era though it is it was it was part that's killed up over ee i would have put that well like later later on if we talk we i thought we were talking like pre MCU it is it's logan came up before the MCU i'm not talking actual timelines i'm just talking about when it actually came out logan came out before i am so confused because i'm just thinking like x-men one two and three yeah then i would include the x-men franchise no i think that's something completely separate like logan came up last year this makes a question way too hard to answer yes but let's just say logan is the best x-men two thousand years but that's what i thought we would do wouldn't it all right that's fine i would agree logan is fucking class but if it's a one two three x-men x-men two is a better x-men i'm gonna be a dick now and see x-men three was the best one i've ever seen not even sanitized well the right origins was the best one i haven't had a dead pill how these mouths so not with such a good idea tingla believe you anyways i can't really see anything more than what you just said um it played like lead one was amazing it's just like on the same level as like x-men two for the fantastic four yep just watch that we said that what were you done i we need a one sami set are you a fan of the fantastic four please please please go flame on and have some kind of special effects i find this a really hard question answer because i've always kind of and what's marvel but i've always kind of kept blade as a separate thing because i feel like it's until the third one as we said it doesn't feel like a marvel movie you know it's super hero landing in that but like the blade trilogy for me is like a five out five because it's one of my favorite movies but then when you're seeing like where do you get in all the marvel trillities and stuff i wouldn't see it would be right at the top even that's one of my favorite movies especially when you're going up against x-men and spider man and i'm not answering the question i thought you're giving us a reason why though that's more interesting than just in x-men i don't like blade is in my top five favorite movies but when you put it in the in like the mcu movies i wouldn't put it at the top so in the context of comic book movies you're not going to add it in there because you it's not a comic movie it is just one of your favorite movies even though it is well i don't know i totally get what you mean though i'll be a property here and see it's done it up against the dark night trilogy and see how it does i don't want to get into that i'll be right now um i've already had it all but that's just enough i've already had fakes with their dc fanboys in the past i've kind of moved past that now i know just just so when it hasn't washed out previous levels sammy doesn't like the dark night kind of loves about my opinion i've been putting in mirrors and but yeah oh the less we see on that the better right now sorry we've got we've got my return so nothing but yeah we're never going to do the 19 the original Batman because i just don't want to do the best one okay well the 1966 one i'll do the 1966 one with the back off yeah yeah fucking chucks and everything let's do it when he only if i had to dress up as an western you can dress up as Robin how do we have but yeah it's one of those things i'm so pleased we did get bladed in the blade trilogy because we wouldn't know how as i said at the start we wouldn't have movies as we said we wouldn't have Marvel comics as we have today um it would have had wouldn't have been Marvel something but we wouldn't have Marvel comics as we had today it would have been a project a lot shorter comic world would have been a lot more poorer and it would have been in a really bad place if blade wasn't a success so a lot of people that had begun bladed and basically Marvel wouldn't have to so that's why i'm always going to be grateful for these movies and but i don't think you can talk about bladed individually it comes as a package just because of the man himself Wesley Snipes and how he tread this character and the guy has done a lot of wrong allegedly or he has made some interesting choices with the movies and he's made some fucking brilliant choices with movies as well um but he fought for this character he fought for what the character represented and he wouldn't let the character be misused or mistreated he always tried to stay strong with the character so a little bit of hear it you've got to respect the man's resolve for what he wanted in this character and what he got so i've got i've got a lot of respect for that absolutely and i've never been oh come on originally you didn't go for Peter originally Wesley Snipes wanted to make a black panther for them yeah that's why he got on down for that and that's why he went here um oh that's so interesting i didn't know that yeah i remember that because they've been fighting for black panther since the at ease oh that's incredible that man that's it um it's telling what though it made my little nerdy heart sing with joy when we saw Wesley Snipes in what we do in the shadows as part of the vampiric council i weft i mean i cried when i saw Paul Rubens and i cried even more when Wesley Snipes appeared on litty camera on a zoom call as well and i was like oh my god there he is that was such a good scene good scene so yes so anything anyone else wants to add the blade i feel like i've got everything out that me and i was talking about last night don't i have anything off your chest don't have anything off your chest you should have said not everything i would say a path outside of it don't do a massive dishonor at weslix snipes because i've only got caught for the tackle in vid and vid and he's not doing anything different to every fucking other company they're just watching a cart for it i know i'm not saying that's just the legidly is a bastard to work with as well so that's allegedly hit his wife so there's not two i will never diss them on the detective vision thing he went to prison this is a fucking example for that man to be fair it's gonna happen to me one day so it's fine um we got to do a different backing on mutiny when we saw the only for weapon two that's really interesting but yes i think well we're saying now um so yes tomorrow night we've got an interesting monster episode i think at least certainly something it is certainly something tomorrow we're doing one of my favourite worst movies of all time we're doing plan nine from out
