I think Warner Brothers wanted to get HBO max off from an incident, so they were releasing one big movie a month, because converses got to the came out. That's right. It was almost like a tester of like, will people pay like £10 to £15 to rent this? And I did a couple of times.

Like, obviously pre-pandemic, I had like me cinematine cinemax. Oh my gosh. Oh, that's not a good subscription. I came from Sinworld.
I had my car from Sinworld. And I would go to the cinema at least three times, maybe four times a month. I would constantly be there. But like, as the pandemics happened, and we were getting these, you know, cinema made movies straight away.
I was like, kind of do like being in my house. And if I need to pay, if I have a lot of paper to see, if cinema's kind of went, I'll be happy to pay for it to watch it all. See, I'm having balls. I like having balls options as well.
See, I miss the cinema. I'm not sure I built you on cinema in the house. So, I'm having to use me blind, comes down as a, I guess it's a projector screen. And I paid for a projector of Amazon.
For the plug's in via the HDMI cable. But then you use here Amazon Echo Wizards, like the little doppling, as the speaker. And it gives you like, a round sound. What?
Yeah, see, build your own cinema. I've been up for a while because there's a massive plant now that Nick put there. So. Oh, man.

Oh, it's all real. So I've got to move the planet the way to get it in the place. But yeah, but also this week, I have watched two great TV shows, um, because they've had been bringing up to waiting again. This season of only murders in the building, is phenomenal.
The cast on this is so good. Like, um, it's basically the investigating Paul Rhodes murder. Like Paul Rhodes and like a complete arsenal. So each week, and it's probably the best who don't have ever seen because each week they throw out the big mean thing that you think it is.
And they then change it up. And I always get this one wrong. It's not, um, Meryl Streep's in it. And Meryl Streep is phenomenal.
Absolutely. Yeah. And I love how like each season's about like a different character. Like, um, this one's quite a bit of a more than short character, which is really interesting to see.
The first season was always about like Selena Gomez and her friendship. The second season was Steve Martin. So this one is basically the Martin short season. And Steve Martin and Martin Short is absolutely magic together.
This season has been like nothing has been disappointing in the show. And we lost off, um, halfway through season two, because we did that whole, we'll wait until the finishes and we just never got around. I do want to watch it though. I love the first season.
Martin Short and Steve Martin are just comedy gold and to watch these men in their 17s do the physical comedy that they still can do is unreal. Like that's on the first season. Steve Martin and the elevator. He's off his face.
He should not be doing that in his age. But he flung himself all over the place. I do want to watch it. I think it's a bit exciting to get back into it.
I think it's, he's been on record as well. And saying this is the last thing Steve Martin's going to do. So I think this is the last season, the third season is the last season. So, um, but yeah, Kylo Rickman and I know Jake's going to argue with this one.
And I am absolutely loving a soccer. This, like I said, the last episode of a soccer just felt like one of the most star wars aspects I've ever had. Like the whole battle scenes, like, a soccer, I can't remember the names of them now, because I was never a big Rebels fan. But, uh, yeah, like Sabine and Ezra.
Yes, Ezra. The guy who's been Ezra is absolutely phenomenal. That was cool as well. How he was doing that, like, fighting without lightsaber, like, stuff, because like, they did a bit of that, like, years ago on the cartoon that was made by the Samurai Jack guy.
And I had this thing where like, Miss Windu, Samuel Jackson's character, lost his lightsaber and had to, like, fight loads of droids with, like, force other abilities. And it was like, it was cool to see them bring some of that in. I've seen that one. The guy who did it saw.
Yeah, it's all silent. That sort of thing as well as Samuel Jackson. But anyway, like, yeah, it's okay. It's like, it's, it's not what I was expecting from, like, the Rebels.
Like, it's definitely, I'm interested to see where it goes. I still want to live up to his villain, because that's the whole thing. It's been going to him. I thought in my eyes, I loved it.
I thought he was sinister and as, like, I'm actually terrified because the rumors are, like, soil is that he's going to get back to the galaxy. So it's going to be interesting to see where it goes from there. Yeah, like, he's definitely, they did a good job getting the same actor in, because his voice was really cool. Yeah, it's a Miggleson.
Yes, I did, I don't only notice that on like, and credits, but yeah, I think, like, I don't know anything, but I think he's going to, so like, I meant himself, he's going to have to kill somebody, but we like, I think he's going to have to cause the death of like, one of our heroes. I reckon so. I've got Thrawn's book, because you're going to go down the legends. No, I love all these of this.
I just, I only got it because I didn't finish all the Rebels. Rebels were something I just dipped in and out of, but when I was at Star Wars celebration, everyone was going nuts over them. I was like, okay, well, the new book could just come out and I thought, okay, I'll get it. Very good.
And we are behind Onusoka. I know that, you see, and again, because obviously that was the end of the last episode we saw. That is literally where we're up to, but the next one really well, not to an app, I've never supported about people talking about it, where like, if anything gets brought up, I haven't seen it. I've never that normally asked about it.
I'm just sick of shit, of going online and people taking screenshots, like from actual thing, and putting it on, I'm like, oh, how are we in my night? I get like, talking about it, but I want to experience that for myself. Like, I want to see that. It's really, really good.
Yeah, like, that's kind of what I'm feeling at the moment. It's not, it's retreading some Rebels ground, because Ahsoka did that whole die in the way of Jedi time vortex thing in Rebels, because like in Rebels Darth Vader effectively kills Ahsoka, but Ezra yanks her out of the timeline, and takes that other future, and it's like this whole thing. It's like, there's something that you wash it going on there. But like, the only thing I'm feeling is like, it feels a bit like a cameo parade, if that makes sense, and it's like, look, it's the guy, but just like, you know the keys.
I think I'm not getting up there, with this not being a Rebels fan, this is all new to me, and these characters feel quite new, even though that's good. So that's why I'm kind of, like, experiencing it for the first time. But yeah, that's also like the Bay of the Lord, Bayland thing, I was slightly disappointed, because he sounded like he was going to do something more interesting than just go to fight the Soka, if you know what I mean? He sounded like he was gearing up for like, I'm going to uncover some weird like, like four secret on this planet from the Legends, and it's like, but I get out of it.

Oh, so sad. But these characters, these characters not getting rolled up apparently, they are going to recast them. They're going to recast them. Oh, I just, you know what, Sad, is that you saw the starting point of celebration this year, and when we did the Ahsoka panels, so we kind of saw the buzz for it.
Now we can't even ever going to see the aftermath, and because I think, like, to look at him aesthetically, he fits all well in the Star Wars. Yeah. Like, it really does. And it's just sad.

It was definitely a good curriculum. We're there, because didn't the comment the news to hear? Oh, yes, dear. They've arrested someone, who killed Tupac.

He's kind of, but he's talking about is just on his fucking game on this movie is unbelievable to sit and watch him, especially when you only get like little snippets of John throughout like the sort of movies are not really like fully about him. This one is and it was well worth it. And also please please stick to the end because there isn't any credit saying and it is well worth it. Cool.

So, I thought it was the perfect start point.
And we've never really touched on, we've done one store of the week or anything like that. But we've not really went with, I'd say, these type of creatures too much in the past. So, I thought it would be quite interesting to take a deep dive into them as well. Oh, it would die.
And you're right, they live in fogas as well. Like, this isn't a supernatural creature. This is something you could run up again before that's the boat. The puddings going through the chat at the moment are fucking ridiculous.

So, the first one I wanted to talk about because I think there is quite a lot of, like, if you type in a Google, there is a wide variety of shark movies from the extreme to almost realistic type of scenarios, which again, why I love them at un, I love a silly big monster movie as well. I know JX, I've found out like the Megalodon, the big monsters like, say, if you go to Joe's versus Megalodon, that'll be, I'm not sure what I mean, Godzilla versus Megalodon, that'll be interesting to watch. Lamak.
Well, I've got a clip, like I'll show you a trailer, like, say, don't worry, we can talk over it as we think it's not going to detract from what we're saying. I would actually watch what I would probably see is probably, this is not the wrong one, I'll try the different one. Is the worst best film you've ever seen? It's not even the worst best, it's just the worst film I've ever seen.
It's basically called Shark Side of the Moon. Amaze and title though. So, when I saw the title on the poster, I thought this was going to be a shark well. See the sharks on the moon?
No. No. Basically, the start of the film is, Russians are on the dark side of the moon, so you can't see them, and they're doing experiments where they're trying to create these ultimate beasts to fight the Americans. So, they create shark men.
What? They're going to be able to create shark men. So, the shark men overflow, there's a shark man, overflow basically the Russians. So, there's one Russian left, and then there's a half human, half shark.
Yeah, so there's a half human, half shark, where she's basically looks like human, but then she says, how are you breathing on the moon? Because it's just not winning the game. And she pulls back her top and it's got gills. Like, how the fuck does gills make you breathe on the moon?
Logic out the window. But yes, the CGI was horrendous. And basically the premise is, the sharks are trying to get stealing the American ship to go to Earth, to basically use all the shark eggs that they've got in storage to take over the world. What?
Yeah, that's a famous of this movie. So, these mad Americans, because they're not allowed to use any electronic and not allowed to bleed, because with the being no atmosphere, the sharks can pick up any scent of blood, anywhere on the moon, and that any electronic occurrence they can read and feed into. And this Russian scientist has created this suit where they can wear it and it hides all the actual things, and all the need is a little straw, but over the nose, and then they can breathe on the moon. Yeah, yeah, it's like the old, uh, future on the trick.
So, at the end of the movie as well, like, see, the get back there, if the killer of the sharks, yay, get your America. Hey, America! Two of the people survive, and the half woman, half shark, surviving. It's like, oh, we're on Earth, we're going to show you the world.
And like, this woman is this thin, like, stick thin, and she starts going, oh, this Tommy, my tummy, and the gun. Have you ever had sex with a shark? And she's like, no, no. And she gives birth to Sharpies.
No, no, no, no. Sharpie jumps out and then it jumps in the sea, and she's on the right side. She goes, I need to look at the baby and jumps in the sea, and that's the end. So, yes.
Baby, you have to do this. No. So, yes, I want everyone to go and watch this movie now. Just how ridiculous.
To be honest, like, you are right, that from the poster and the title, my mind went straight to like, Oh, okay, it's like a werewolves movie. Hybrid, like a hybrid werewolf. And the moon makes it turn to a shark. Yeah.
So, yes. Wow, it was incredible. It sounds like the sort of side plot that would be in like a Godzilla movie. But then you would also get like the monster fights, but you would have like the weeest prey in Manasaleans doing that thing on the side.
So, like, that could be the origins to street sharks as well. The ones that have said have said that street sharks since base. Oh, yeah. Pretty much.
I love street sharks. But the worst thing about this was this was made in 2022. It was not. It's a new movie.

Even like in the third one, he gets gifted a golden chainsaw from the president for being like the savior of like the USA. It's absolutely nuts. But yeah, it eventually goes sci-fi. It eventually goes like fantasy where it's like, oh, there's a shark guard that's causing the hurricanes and the fine ruins of the Stonehenge.
And the Tararina line. The way Halloween's free, honest. Tararina's a scientist. She has played multiple sites in B movies.
Oh, actually. In the dark as well as the same. Oh, remember that. And she always sounds like, I hate to say this, but it just sounds like she's on drugs.
Yeah. She probably is. There's a period of time which I was very aware she wasn't in a good place. Like, it sounds like she's just like, slowing out words half the time.

If you're watching this, Tarar, well done. But like, Sharknado, it becomes really silly from the second one on and just start getting like, celebrity cameos from like a lot of American people. And also like, Jared's from Subway isn't a lot of them. Like, in like two of them.

And for some reason, I guess because that was the first one, Sharks became very popular for those who like the B movie scene, which like he was saying beforehand, it was hitting quite seriously. It's like, Jaws is like, Oh, for there is like, Oh, like, top tier. Yeah. And it's like, reference and everything.
And I think if you haven't seen Jaws, you've seen enough parodies to piece Jaws together. You know, like, it's just one of those things that's everywhere. I actually found out the other day that there is, um, what I'm called the, the Mandel Effect. Yeah.
There is a Mandel Effect. I actually learned what that meant. And I think you'll find out. And there was one, there was Jaws is like an example of a Mandel Effect with the whole, I think we're going to need a bigger boat.
Right. Because it's definitely what he says. He says, you're going to need a bigger boat. Yeah.

I found it in some point it got changed to the shark explodes when the D.B. That's the D.B.D. version apparently. And it's kind of like lost media where the more grizzly slow version is what the shorter on the TV version.
Yeah. But keep explosion. Put on all the D.B.Ds I think. That's another weird one.
Yeah. Funny I don't think I've ever seen the explosion version. I think I've only seen the TV version. Because I wasn't one of the pictures to see it.
I know. But like you say, if we are talking about Jaws the revenge, who wants to do Michael Kian's court? Because everyone knows about it. And the things he sees about the movie.

The court was basically, what did you think of Jaws the revenge? He says, I never watched the movie. But I do know. I do like the house they bought me mother.
Oh, that's funny. I was trying to think I was like, I've actually not seen it. So if he's going to ask us to court the movie, we could be here a while. What is he says?
There is no courts during the movie. The whole premise of the movie is absolutely ludicrous. Almost as ludicrous as Shark Niro where the shark has a family of the original shark that was killed in the original Jaws. It was taken advantage of the family against the family.
So of course, of course, killing every member of the family that was part of the Brody family. And that was the lady and stuff. It's given a chance of a lot of credit to you guys. It's like a connectability and stuff.
I think it's a case of one of those where they took every piece of the first movie and tried to spin it off. Because in the first one, the dude says, this guy is a role. He's going to eat everything here and move on to a different place. So I guess we're going to take that and be like, he's going to remember and keep on searching until he finds the rights.
Yeah. I've got one final tip. I'm not going to be a clip heavy as normal. I thought this one just because it is one of the most ridiculous shark attacks in the Jaws franchise.
And it is from the classic Jaws 3. And it's just absolutely hilarious when you watch this and see what's going on. Let's get in. See what's happening.

I think Friday the 13th 3D came out around the same time. So look at all the people going, oh shit, there's a shark there to tack off. It's smashing up the place. It's headbutting it again.

I always just find absolutely hilarious. I think they're going to go in the way. I think they're going to go in the way. And that one as well, they blow off the shark in 3D.
So you see like the piece of shark flying in the screen. They're like at the end. Wow. They're coming back to the time.
I'm going to show him. I'm Jaws 3 as well. It's one of the more ridiculous ones. It's ones where a swimmer is able to not die by swimming into Jaws's mouth.
Yeah. So yeah, the Rinald Jaws is attacking them. And he's got his mouth open. Oh, the shark.
And he swims through the mouth. And before he chums down, he swims quickly. So he's he is hiding in Jaws's mouth. Because trying to use the premise of Jaws is that big.
And it's like chopping down. And you can see him just like crouching in the mouth. Not that big. He's not tickly strong.
Possibly could just like spewed up or something like that. I can't say that I've seen every Jaws sequel. But does the shark get bigger? Do they kind of like do that escalation thing where it's like we need bigger monsters now?
Because it's like the sequel. Jaws, in essence, doesn't really change size-wise because Jaws in the original is a massive shark. Yeah, he's like, oh, it's a 25 footer or something. But it's just like the premise of them is crazy.
I think Jaws 3 just goes off and accidentally finds this plant in it. I have this aquarium type of place and gets goes into one of the tunnels where it's not should probably and stuff like that. It's just absolutely ridiculous. But coming back to the classic, I know we've got a lot of different sharmoos to talk about.
But we talked about the Jaws movies. The one that started at all. The one that scared us the most. Like, well, scared me the most as a child and still scares me.
Now I watch it again. And for a film, it holds up so well. But simply because it's so clever and it's Spielberg at least best. Like the storytelling and the character is driven behind it.
I think the shark is only in it for 12 minutes in a whole. And it's a two-hour film. It's mostly at the end, doesn't it? Yeah.
It's always what you don't see or again because I know I keep talking about like horror films. But to me, it's scary what you don't see. And you're not known and like they use the music perfectly. And it does the best one.
And like that kill at the beginning is fear and toxicity. And like if you saw that and like just living at the course, you did not want to go on the beach. After saying that and seeing how ferocious and like nasty it was as well. You don't actually see anything.
No, but that the woman that hired to do that like her drowning acting is absolutely like horrible. Like it's horrible. It's perfect. Yeah, it's horrific to watch.
I didn't see Jaws until I was 16. I rode the ride in Universal Studios probably more times than I saw that I never watched. I mean, I'm always used to laughing is that I've never seen Jaws. Mikaela has still to this day never seen Jaws, but it was rode that ride.
And I absolutely adore that ride. The detail in this. Can we talk about this ride because I absolutely hate that ride because I like Paul was frigging terrified of Jaws as a kid. Really?
And my granddad takes me on the ride and like I was sat on the side of the boat where Jaws comes. He comes up at the end. Right? Right on the end.
And I basically just put my head between my legs. Oh, no. Oh, I love it. I love the detail in just like even just like the surrounding areas outside the ride where the car kind of opened.
I didn't know either. See, even I was the only thing. I mean, it's Universal Studios, but I don't think that the budget for a big chapter called the look. I was never scared of big fish jellyfish terrified me.
Now, if they had a big giant jellyfish jump out of the water, I would shit my pants. But I love the detail in the smell at the end. That smell. It was just amazing when the shot jaws.
I did like that part when he came in. Oh, you're so happy. Yeah. I think probably like my field is sticking you on the end.
I was only seven years old as well. Oh, the whole kid. So it's like 16, 17, when you have a big cool guy. It's like, oh, it's a shark.
