Well, that's right. Well, we thought we'd do an episode this weekend. And we did one on Friday when we had the lovely guest Holly, but especially with coming to the end of season four, which we've been waiting a whole month for, which is to over Laura. Probably.
It's only crazy. I haven't waited as long either because I only watch it. That's the whole thing. Oh, that's not too bad.
It's lovely to anyone else. But the countdown, like today, if you've been on the Facebook group, which was on every day, counting down to the special day that was Friday, and I do feel a little bit bad because I've forced both the two lovely people in this episode to watch them as soon as possible. So we can jump on it and get this review, while the fire is still hot there. there.
We have literally spent the last month on TikTok to share in a fan theory videos. It's all we've been doing. But, um, because we had a little bit of a discussion before we did go live, because when we thought we'd do the review of Stranger Things, we thought should we do the full work, like going through all the full seasons, we've never discussed it before. But, um, I think if we did that, we would probably be on for about four or five hours.
So we are just going to talk about what we've just watched over the last months, like, with the release of season four in the two parter with Netflix doing that for the first time, because the first time we've done it with Stranger Things, like, normally it just drops the whole season and you watch it all in like one weekend or one day if you just have to make it happen. One day, not done it. The binge watching, um, but yes, so how do we wait a little bit and I was not disappointed. I know we're going to, I'm going to, I'm going to go in a little bit more, but I definitely was not disappointed in the way it's not, not at all.
Not at all. I'm going to, um, I'm just going to get the disclaimer out of the way with it because I feel on this one, it's going to be an important decision. Yeah, I know, I know, I feel like, especially the end part, I feel like I put that into my song. But, but, keep, keep an eye out in on the swing today guys as well. So, that's, that's what's the kinky one there, shall we say. But yes, so when, because I know you finished it, was it yesterday or so? Yeah, I watched the first part on Friday and then finished it off last night. I was broken.
Physically broken, still not quite mended yet, but I was broken after that badly. And you went to Bobby went to sleep. Yes, we went to Friday night. We were supposed to watch one on Friday morning and one on Friday night and then I found out he was off nursery.
Oh my God, your head would have exploded. I was like, but I wanted to watch it straight away. So it killed us to wait all day. I'm not going to lie.
I was stupidly at work. I wish I'd be off to be honest with her. I made the mistake of watching the first 45 minutes of the first episodes, doing me lunch break and I paused it just as they were on the bus. I'll kick it out and make one to make sure they're going to get the guns and stuff, which we're going to do a bit later.
That's where I stopped it. I mean, I'm going to break. Honestly, I was in the worst mood. I was in the worst mood.
I was in the best. Just talking to people here. Can we just feed this up? I just need any time.
But then I say, so it was a finish for artwork. Jump to be on it. Watch to finish that episode. Then we had the episode with Holly and Charlotte and I say, I'm never seeing anyone so starstruck.
It was lovely. I just want to say, I know my husband doesn't watch this, but I want to say a special shout out to my husband because my God, is that man tolerated so much this weekend? I had him on a schedule on Friday because of that. So I was like, right, I'm going to do four hours of work and then I'm going to go to your man's.
I'm going to come home and then watch the boys and then watch the first part of the stream of things and then I'm going to do the podcast. And then tomorrow, we're going to finish work at three o'clock. We're going to have a nap. We're going to watch the last part of the stream of things.
And do you know what? We did it all. It's been tolerated a lot of the last two years with me. I'll do it first.
Since we started doing this podcast, I'm surprised my wife hasn't divorced as well. But this is like, what was it, Jake? I was like, oh, do you want to do some Twitch on Saturday? I'm like, if I want divorce papers handed to me, then no.
I'm going to say no. So let's get the start of the way. How did you find it? How did you find the short?
Like I said, this season, because I know I think I have to talk about it in the past, like especially you guys, probably not on the podcast, with Stranger Things, the season's that's game before. I love season one. And it definitely wasn't there. But after this, watching it again, I didn't appreciate it a little bit more, but it didn't live up to the hype of the first scene.
But third season brought it back near the characters. Everything I needed. And I think they found a formula where they didn't have the gun altogether, all the time. Separated them and create little minks in units and little partnerships.
Side West Exactly, partnerships as well that you love to see and around it out, but it's one I think it worked more and I see that brought the element of Dean to a little bit more back into it, because I think season two was a bit, because you went really because you went really bad with the demicadogs and stuff and and dart and stuff but yes that's the thing it had Bob and this is the greatest part about strange things is how they can bring these characters into it and you instantly fall in love with them and so the one that probably lasts yeah but the man never wrote a bad new character like there's some shows you watch me and for ton of this that's not going to be like I just don't give a shit like stop trying to force this person honest and I never felt like that with this show ever yeah no I think that's the key thing you mentioned there none of it feels forced no everything's fitting quite natural you can see why people like win certain roles and and how they play it out and even some background characters kind of got like the time to shine and kind of grew a little bit more but then they hit us with season four which to me far exceeded anything that I was saying was to edge of things like I was a fan but I have become obsessed now because of season four me me too me too I've lost Tony just done a thousand TikToks over the last month that's all leading up to this and if nobody knew the owner of the TikTok of Nodie up north is Laura because I am but a fucking clue that was I mean Laura so much oh no you're doing so good I mean Laura have we just share videos all the time now and with the series though we love them like leading up to it like we would like yes we've binged every single one of them there's nothing but once that's it once it's done then it's done like I'm not bothered anymore and I'll just wait until the next one comes out whenever that'll be season four just changed something in us yeah it's like the dynamics changed and the influences changed as well because I know like season one I'll get it out the way now guys was heavily influenced by the gonies and like like gonies stand by me at 18 references fire starter like all them like the big 80s references from the beats and drops and even alien to a degree aliens to a degree definitely absolutely we watched our video of the different brothers break down all of the references so when he came to season four me and him couldn't help but go oh my god it's reference in that reference in this because you knew fine well they are massive nerds the future of the movies is just like so deep like just like emias and the feeling of the music and the visuals and everything like that's one thing I wanted to talk about as well because a lot of TV shows has a good soundtrack or a good beat I've not known a show that has killed it music wise and brought music to the forefront like Kia Bush is now having a resurgence because of season four of Stranger Things people like we had a poll and like we're excited to talk about like what was any gonna be playing in that that was that the whole time he's gonna do the song he's gonna do the song he's gonna do it yeah yeah every time I go he's guitar was referenced or something and I was in the front of the hills in front of the hill it's gonna be right under the hills as I made it and when he broke down I lost my shit yeah yeah because he screamed one of the best best lines in the show was this is me I was like yeah big dead Madonna I was like Madonna I got my grandeur and that and he just will be picks it up and he's like music and I was like oh my god it's gonna be I made him but when he broke that out all he shit did I lose it but we lost all that yeah because I think yeah we need a whole section of that too but yeah but wow like because I know as when we got the first half of the season the beats were very like 80s horror like like all the other things has been like tiptoeing around it but it was like go come to be a comedy age type movies like family oriented but this was pure at my man I'm sure he's hella raised a evil dead everything like even the thing like all these different were so prominent and like out there like and all all those terrified horror movies and shit doesn't really like them so this must have been an interesting walkthrough yeah well that's why we didn't originally watch things because we were like oh is it scary we're not gonna touch it and for years we just didn't go in here and we just finally went out to give it a go and then we've been obsessed with our sense but because we didn't do horror there's something about that I can kind of like tolerate because it's not all of the time I guess and it's like obviously everything else the characters are so like the one thing maybe I just need to get from another tribe news I think with it I think with horror movies yeah I've a love I hear them but with horror TV especially with this it's kind of like it builds it works better like there was a trilogy of movies I came up last year I've got the name of them now straight straight straight which was pure horror but because it was three movies you kind of it felt almost like a TV short times and the tropes and different failing of other movies it kind of it didn't feel like a quintessential horror movie it felt almost like a different but I think that's what's really anything is kind of like built on well not built on like built shall we say and give us like the platform and things and I think shows now should be using this as a template oh like just to say like the chill child actors on this obviously they're all the out got the standard of child actors in this is not like cast like if you look at the start like we're gonna ride again we're gonna ride it back in like this type of field and her like her journey from season one to what like to the complete foot and badass that she is now is joyous I should come like in the first season she was just like a mother I possessed a person that that's all big I'm not a father sounds like we've got kids cats but Laura is a mother so she probably has really had a lot of heavily to watch Joyce would have been going through and how she was just determined but then you've got like Hopper like his journey through it like each one of the characters as we said before is being put there for a specific reason and even like the minor characters like Mike's parents like Mike's mother's journey through like in the background through all the seasons like I've never known hairstyles go through as much as they did it was it's a it's a it's a yeah yeah the last one and season four my mum had that for years but definitely before we start talking about the show I wouldn't ask so who was your favorite character in this in the season not the whole show but in this game the whole show oh wait this guy would be Eddie Munson right oh no no sorry oh wow okay it's like half a half so you could see it was like my all round like favorite character throughout this whole show yeah really guys this is where the first new ladies come out now I love his arc I love his progression I love he's gone I can't see what we used to call him on the first episode but he's gone from that to just our hero Steve cool so Steve is yours what about your Laura and I you can be torn now I am I think Max has had a really good season yeah really comment about what I wasn't that mother about all guy until I watched the last two episodes and I love him probably Eddie as well just by these little story and I feel a bit sad but Eddie I find it quite even because like I don't know anyone who's got a bad word to say about Eddie except for my wife who uh wow that's Shox's she's currently in Turkey at the moment but like she's been watching season four because on while she's there and she said she didn't get the whole anything she found really irritating I'm really shocked at that probably my favorite character like it was probably some mixture between and like Max because Max's journey was was tremendous but I think this season especially I didn't expect to like him as much because I didn't really like him as much in the previous ones for Lucas I think Lucas really did have a journey in this episode this season because he went from like a bland just friend to like I argued with like Dustin and and so from dozens always going to be the cute and adorable one but he hasn't really changed too much but Lucas in this season he really grew up and it was lovely also gone and at that time and like I said the last episode that was like him and Max's connection and what he went through wow like as a actor as well yeah his performances were just out like completely out there unbelievable I think he's definitely able in the sense of like he's obviously like part of the kind of nerdy geek group where he wants to be the cool guy he wants to be like with the cool guys yeah he kind of realizes that you know maybe the cool guys aren't the best people and it was such a it was such a transitional like thing for him the goal because the other three they know who they are and they're happy with but Lucas even you can see it from season one right up until four he's never quite figured himself out like where do I fit into all this like who really am I and then when you join family type Sophia who goes really alone erica oh no I mean the most bad sister ever because they're like your parents at all and not you in the first eight in the first eight you do say but um if you want to say they're paying parents as much to like what kind of comes to them from erica she's amazing but he's just he just didn't quite figure it out and he was he was trying to tip his toe and in different things to like am I this person am I that person's when he finally realizes that these people who he's attached himself to a dickhead and which I want to get into them by the way because that part of the short really hacked me off a little bit and I'm gonna know that but not he's um he's realized it's like I'm a nerd and that's so that's a way even like a step's erica more like what we're getting obviously she was just you know your little sister but now like he sort of seen the value in her and like where she sort of fit in any type as well yeah that little scene where they're sitting there and just just sassing them like because I thought she just just sassing like because even even from season three she believed that like there was superheroes and russians turning over the world but she could not believe her brother Lucas was saving the world with them and being there but then when we can see he's going to sit down and I feel in the time of knives to the stakes and it's just like upon your woman to think it's brother and sister like just what you could tell that he realizes that she gives us she gives us she gives us a shit about him yeah he generally does care the scene where he's holding Max at the end and he's screaming for erica completely improvised yeah if he was completely improvised by the actor who they who they for all yes would you have shouted for erica or would you know what I mean like what what what where did he bring going that moment and he wanted Lisa sir yeah I was just so beautiful that's the thing I've looked into as well and so many little bits was improvised as well like the dusting and he went and he said I love you that wasn't meant to be a part of it's not really yet not really yet not really but not yet yeah like as you said the growth of all the characters the only one that again it's probably just a little bit of a complaint from me the one that hasn't grown is Mike he hasn't changed like he's perfect as just saying a little bit dressed is that just not a bad thing though like that's just who he is but I don't know where you come from he's pretty much the same person as he was and the first one to who he is on the fourth there's no there's no word there but yes so again and I want to give props to this person as well because even from season one to watch he is now the badass of the actual the whole program the one person who actually you didn't expect like to stand out or but it's been quite a slow one as well like quite sadie it wouldn't answer you how scary is that girl from the moment when she's spent and obviously as a dissing when all the years ago and she was and she was cracked it and you think oh shit this vision was yeah is that when can we go into the references because I'm itching to talk about all the references in this go for it go for it now so the halloween reference where he gets where he gets thrown out of the window and and turn around it was when who got thrown out of a window and Michael Myers and he went and what happened to Michael Myers when he wasn't there and then he wasn't there it's the out it's that scene but it's the obviously that's Michael Mike the halloween reference but the outfits they were so you had Nancy who was heavily inspired by Ripley yeah Steve who we can only think was inspired by Bill Paxton and Ian's because of the army wear that he had on I thought that was more red dawn we couldn't quite figure that one out it's bloody what's that face um he wasn't Robin Robin's outfit is the Frog Brothers from Lost by Boys the minute we saw that hat we were like it's a fucking frog brother I was I lost it when I when I saw that I thought that was absolutely genius but Nancy has been giving me Ripley vibes all the way throughout the season but my god does that girl not look well at all she really doesn't look well she found out she's not a brilliant brilliant yeah but two-f I just immersed it like I stopped giving a shit about the references and just got to sort of mercy on what was going on but then two with the only one it was Robin's outfit that like one is far as well Robin's like as I said because she was great in season three but was nice to see like not as confident because she was a very confident person in season three and so much as she and it's like that fear of coming out and being ostracized by like say the small community that like said that always was quite prevalent in the Eddies as well especially in like in certain towns or cities in America for small towns and stuff like everyone knows your business and shit and when like they were in the band uh saying and it brought me heart a little bit as well because when she was like talking to that last night she's got a crush on and she got nearly that slip that she hit her like girls and she had a backtrack and like prig outs but um there's so many things that left open and uh moving forward in the season five so you understand uh like the whole chemistry between Nancy and Steve like was brewing all with her out there yeah because I think they're trying to move away from Jonathan and Nancy because I don't think they work if that makes sense as well for all there an actual realite couple the chemistry on screen is not as electric as her and Steve I think it'll be hard to get chemistry which one of lesson he is a very he's a vet do you know what when you talk about it would it would it would it would it make any difference to the story whatsoever like don't the whole time really wasn't he wasn't much else going on even I'll go in the in the pizza van but I think at the end the realized that as well he like is realized he's wasting a lot of time and a lot of things but throughout the season and all in essence to break it down we had kind of like three stories all going on at the same time like what was going on in Hawkins uh L and uh makes her trying to get her powers back like that first episode when she was getting picked on like by the kids actually broke my heart like and especially when they said they stood in the dying of dire what was she saying I was direama oh no I went dad and yeah but the when she hit up with a roll of movement I was like yeah yeah all the time I saw a spot for L like from the beginning like I just hung up her I just just took a vulnerable little car like vulnerable but also matters and obviously wise as well pretty vulnerable um you could do a drinking game though with L on this series how many times she cries yeah because she cries a lot and I understand that she's a very emotional like obviously whatever she can do is an emotional thing but my god that girl cries a lot no I mean and then we got the other story like with uh however and makes it a great escape in Russia and I think I'll be honest I didn't think that would go on as long as through the season as it did on so long and you know why that was a little bit like cool yeah just get on with it yeah but however and join yeah it was it was in that outfit that they had on at the end with the whole hunger and t-shirt and the court you know that that is going to be a thing and a comic con convention at some point if actually I've got the court and the whole court and t-shirts on the final circle it did drag though I love the fact that we had um oh what is the M from Game of the Ones oh no oh he is just he is an absolute standout ever since he came in this series he's just amazing what was he saying was lying to Jonathan and Nancy um how do you know how was the poll I was saying no but like I just said Murray just had like the best lines and the best he was it must have been so much fun working with him the way he was going to always like my hands are like knives on my feet like when he was talking about his karate and stuff but just that moment in the last episode where you're seeing with a flint for going absolutely apeshitting like how happy his face was to be fighting this demi gorgon with him like saying everyone's full like backshifts crazy and dynamic of him and Joyce is really good because Joyce from the war quite like straight like she's not when he's just so wacky like she was just like what on earth am I doing with this guy like what she thought that the full you put in the she put a whole life in his hands and I think he did the same with her as well and that was probably the funnest part about the rush of truth was them two I got to the point where I was like you know what I didn't care if he doesn't get out of here mind it had taken far too long and and to be honest I could have really cut that down like that went on that that's it they didn't really do anything to help the situation yeah but even then like the references um because I know when they said they were gonna help L and then sort of the fight the demi gorgon and that was like if they heard them like the like the vector or like the they were called at the mis when they're like the part of the mis because they don't know what they don't know and we didn't at the time nor what the upside down was about yeah but it's nice now we've got a bit of clarity regarding that like say what what happened but at the end of season like the first part so we got the revelation about the vector like where we come from how how he was in the upside down and then that makes it that was a pretty there was elements are kind of guessed but I did not guess that he was going to be the little kid from the house that was quite sick I didn't get that I didn't get that he was Henry um I don't know I don't want to go in I don't know if you want to go into this part yes with the faculty you know he is the reason you've got the upside down yeah we're going to that that's thing yeah go on to the bottom sorry no no fine with the end of part one where he gives the visions to Nancy I know we've been through we had to come here with Robert England and I'll be honest I was a lot this point I thought he would have played a more bigger part throughout when I heard I thought it was lovely to give him especially with the theme of that series of where the bean alumni meringel street for him just to even be there and a very silent of the lambs we in my gaias yeah when all went down it was very sad it hurts is that someone doesn't just on her face when all this is not the time to let that happen smell you Clarice but yeah I thought it was nicely fitted like it was it was just perfect timing probably didn't need any more like the currently he wasn't the for this it wasn't it was his son well I thought like with fact of any son I think because when they were going around doing all the killings and getting it like the four because I said when turned out we need four kilns to open up hell or no one upside down I thought he might be in one of the four because I thought he son would have wanted to get revenge with him being like one of the ones I've got away from him because with him killing his sister or did he kill his sister that was never that's another theory that's being thrown around at the moment that his sister is very much alive living in Hawkins and has three children and in mics mom that's the biggest that's the theory that's being chucked around at the moment yeah because you look similar to the mom yeah she dresses the same as the mother does right okay I like that one yeah we can discuss the theories because that'll then lead in nicely to the end part of what you know that the end of where we see this going but the the fact that Beckner is the reason for the upside down and that he created the mind player as well and the fact that him and Will draw exactly the same just as my jaw just dropped how creepy is he when he's in the rainbow room in the voice and everything that we talk like yeah even without his Beckner voice his voice is just that voice and that is all of them yeah that is all of them yeah that one of them would have been him in all the Beckner voice I thought oh you told me yes he was in your bloody talk I don't know if it came up so you must have watched it because it came up on my algorithm only thing as well um with the room it was quite interesting to see like how Elle kind of developed like she's been signing out with the others and how she was picking on and stuff the rainbow room was right but does that because that's a bit of conflict and information with season two because wasn't it uh six a sister that got out so she wasn't referenced anything so how was it going to explain that if she's still I think the recondit I think they got rid of that part because it didn't work so they kind of just went the breeze over it that part was a very disappointing part of that series and I think they kind of recond the whole thing and was like well just we'll just ignore that that didn't happen because it could be a good because I know I like to do a lot of callbacks and stuff but now this is out there and season two and like Horton's opened up to the upside down it might be a point to bring up back if there are other people to try and fight because I don't think when the final season that Elle is going to be able to fight this by yourself and she's going to need like others and I shall we say but I was sad that I could say with the theory about Eddie being one of the what's what's the only one's going to be number 10 or something that everyone was saying. No the new theory now is because people have been reading about the character from D&D the vector character and he has a right hand man who betrays him in the end and that was he that's he's down for because Eddie there's no reference to Eddie leaving the upside down they believe that Eddie is very much alive becoming a veteran is right hand man and doing the ultimate betrayal at the end. That's another one that's come out to do. I think after the like the send off you got I don't think they'll dare bring them back like that we're but my theory and this is again big spoilers here I should have just wanted to worry earlier sorry oh if you did not know at the beginning of this then more fool you.
My theory is and I've been shouting this since since the third season as well I think Will is going to be the big part because this is this is why so he was out trying to go with the journey here. We'll be strapped in let's go. So on season one when Will is adopted we don't see what takes him it's intended that to Demi Gorgon but we don't see Demi Gorgon till later on so my theory is Will gets adopted into the upside down meat vector and because Will all we are throughout all the seasons is just wanted to play D&G with his friends and want to do that all of like for the rest of his life and that's all he wants to do so what are the characters that are chosen to become against D&G characters so Demi Gorgon that they just used the mind season two and Demi Gorgs vector in season four and let's say the mind player in season three again sorry but the meat zombie things so all these ideas and preferences I don't think they'll be coming from vector I think they'll be coming from Will because I think that because Will gets hints and and tells them when things are happening so I think Will is playing the game putting real life so he's getting his friends to play at D&G but for real life's sake and he's using vector as powers to do that. I love it I actually I absolutely love it but taking the Eddeman's theory and putting it into Will Will is his right hand man because Vecna has been there since day one when you go back through that even if you go back over the seasons of Stranger Things there are references to him in their starting with the clocks and the four times and everything's been there since the start so he's not a person or a character who's like right this is who we use in this season he is being there from the start oh my god I love that and Will being his right hand man and playing it on the outside in real life he was the one who told Mikey you are the heart yeah he's given them hints to play the game because he wants to win he wants them to win that was cool also that picture was not all like sort of playing the game wasn't it like playing like yeah and Joyce said at the beginning when she goes to see Hopper about he's being missing he's not like any other boy he's incredibly sensitive it's exactly what Robert England said about Vecna about Henry he's not like any other boy he's incredibly sensitive then two are connected and have been since day of one yeah that's that's how in my I would play that that's why I would say will because everyone keeps on saying will doesn't really do anything it's playing the land it would make sense to come back to will because like to have another season after that season has to be something like like that because like how can you go on like you know what I mean like that thing is so big that needs to be something bigger because there's not many twists that can do that would make sense if that makes sense because they do twist like pull about the arse's and say oh this is going to be and we'll believe it yeah okay but to make make a full circle to finish the story as they're going to tell us that it is that might be and then the fact will's arc this season which was beautifully done with him and Jonathan when Jonathan realizes another knock on the ground and say it will is more likely here and had that he now it's him that loves Mike as well and that whole like see of the way they did that was absolutely pitch perfect and beautifully done and the way Jonathan that kind of just ratios will like he's okay and he accepts and he loves him that that was just magical but as with that films as well if will's already felt like that kind of outsider and not wanting the real world in I think that that's how it could lead up to an act how it would work in my head if I was a magazine if I was a million dollar writer for these films and stuff that's how I would end it yeah because they've said they're not going to focus on well sexuality are they it's not about that but it's they've done it in a way where it doesn't have to be the biggest biggest deal in the world it's just been so natural you know like and we're talking about you know like it's quick I was just in the story yeah it's just there and it's not like a big deal made out of it and obviously with 300 things it works for the era because he probably would have been scared to come out and say that because of the way people were treping people do you know what I mean so it makes sense to the era bible bible about America is still scary today so never mind that that's that that goes lovely into the bloody high school kids who oh my god oh the whole like um satanic sort of thing with it well this satanic panic it was right in the eighties and nineties in America so it is really fitting for that to be there but it was so pointless and unnecessary they put them in places that they didn't need to be in the end part with the fight scene was lovely it was great but then he just died yeah it was pointless it was mean and that death was just but I think it was the type of person and the reaction he did that was a fit and death for him I didn't want him I didn't want him to get off because the amount of trouble and like distress he had caused because he wouldn't see well to be fair to see reason if it makes this one that he loves just to pass the way it makes it kind of drive you to madness but to the degree he went out to villainize and as he said the satanic panic was right in the eighties especially because in America people like who played dungeon dragons did get picked on and and it was a good example of like people maybe not understanding like because they like you know all the typical sort of popular kids not understanding the news it's kind of big you know yeah I'm probably gonna backtrack a little bit because I've just remembered that anyone's in this actually based off the main echols and dimmy and echols was an 18 year old goth kid who was done for triple homicide and put on death row for a crime he never committed and it was because of people like the jocks is the reason he was put in that position in the first place I'm gonna backtrack a little bit on that but yeah it was uh I don't know I'm just a little bit torn because I was a little bit bored of it do you know what I mean I was like I want to see something else kind of added to the end where you were like who was gonna have more Lucas when I mean he was probably about uh he was obviously extremely weak little boy that's when he got up and fought back that was very special and erica getting that kid in the face was just amazing I think because Lucas wasn't fighting for himself anymore he saw like Max start floored and then he was fighting for her then and again like going back to like see the first part of the season uh next to the season four of part one where she's at the grave site one of the most iconic scenes and like say of because I think there's like with sphanger things season four there's two after huge scenes that will live and be and send it like well not well yeah obviously yeah it's an issue um the first one like it's like graveyard scene when Max is getting taken over by vector and you see it picking up and floating off and then you're seeing the panic between dusting and Lucas going through a tip and like when saying it's gotta be music when Nancy and Robin telling about it and they put the tape on and you hear it get a push kick in and you see this Max running through the underworld everything falling down and trying to take her out absolutely breath taking and like the callback in that episode part two is when just floating again but she doesn't have that same thing you hear the snaps because that really shocked me because I thought like say Max is a mean said the giveer like because they normally don't pick on characters too much like if people go through strife you always want to like share and like see them come out on top because like even from when she's the introduction she got to deal with it they're not bad that was Billy and then like say the relationship with Elle how she was trying to teach Elle to be a proper girl not just to rely on on Mike and then on this season she was a broken person because she had to say but he died during his redemption and then like say going through what she has gone through like a parent's but not like living in a trailer park like this lass of being through like the storm and basically you thought oh there's going to be a note but the foreshadow fuck I hear them sure for doing things like as soon as her and Lucas were like sitting there saying go out the movies on Friday I was like oh bye bye Max.
No no no no no absolutely not and you don't add in realise until I watched a callback to like a montage sorry of Elle and Max's relationship and you just don't realise what Max gives to Elle yeah because she didn't have like a girl like a friend like that at all she made up she made her feel normal she did normal things with that she she normalised her life like yes you are incredibly special but you can also you know be like just as normal as everybody else and you just don't realise that so when the end scene when Elle comes to see her and she's not it was when she's not there when she went in one line and she's not there. Did you notice the music when the thing happened with Elle towards the end? Sammy not Elle Max and the music was the movie music it's it's called when it's called I'd like the time that's what it's called and the music was played in series one when Will when they're trying to associate Will at the end Joyce and Hopper the trying to associate him he's upside down and it was played when he showed you the flashback of Hopper who was in the daughter right the same music I read that somewhere a day and I actually watched a little bit of that episode just the double check but yes the same piece of music which was really unusual because it's like I was the 90s piece of music but it's still kind of fits um but it's a movie piece of music. It's like really um poignant so when she's starting to go that music started.
Yeah and then we had the 20 start moment I don't want to go I'm not ready like the whole party. I'm trying to go. But yeah when she's when she's not there and it's an empty vessel. So what do you think about that him taking her memory?
I think I think that the main point of season five is getting that back there and because she's going to the only way the upside down is going to cause is Max fully coming back. Yeah Max isn't gone I think if it were it seems like a bit of a no choice to have her still being there at the end in the hospital. Oh she's the key she's technically the key master because the only reason that open for her is because she died for a minute so it gives it a chance for it to open because she like you was here it's like a puppet kind of thing that's a good Billy. Oh no.
The scene though between Max and Billy when she's you know when she's in the mind thing and he is in her head that was filmed when he was in Australia he could get over it like that's how good of a scene that was is to know that they're not actually talking to each other and it's absolutely brilliant he was in Australia and he couldn't get all there because of Corvig so they had to do it with in her and a green screen and him and another and that the mission together and with the time of that scene as well we can talk about it now with the background music kicking in when they actually reveal the choice of song that the most metal concert ever to play like if you're in hell and you've got yourself like say amp you've got yourself a electric guitar and you can play it master of fucking puppets but it's because he is technically pulling the strings and I'm glad I'm glad that he got that moment and you don't have everyone was like that's what's going to happen that's when he's like I'm glad it didn't happen I'm glad I didn't have no name then I got that moment let's let's talk about Eddie now let's do a whole section on a because I feel like he needs a whole section dedicated to himself because what a character to come out of nowhere I generally think that different brothers will be very upset with themselves that they actually killed them off and haven't kept them on because I don't think they realize what kind of reaction they would have gotten people from them true but I think because if we brought him in season one they wouldn't have died season one but with a big season with a big season with a big season with a big season with a big season with a big season yeah but with a big season for them I think he went in a really good way though I know that sounds really sick and awful but I think like we could go to a wake up with you my sister's kind of poisoned my mind with his death so we'll get to that in a minute yeah but as I was trying to see it with Eddie in his Mormon type thing I think it was the perfect time for him to go in this season because it didn't make sense to kill us Steve it didn't make sense to kill off Robin like the people that like people would say and it didn't make sense where Eddie was brought in and actually blew us all away as soon as they said you see him like in that school cafeteria and how he's like was going on you were like yes you could see people following me he had a very Charlie Manson type of vibe to him shall we say and then and then when you saw him playing DNG and you could not help but follow him and as soon as he met Erika and he like tried to give Erika some sassam Erika took this bloom away and he accepted you knew he was a bit like not I know it sounds weird that's something about him that he would just say right this girl's like say not just like say at a phony she's one of us she's on a level she's on a level that's that's the end not enough as well really like look at me and he was doing like we had like gestures and all that kind of thing but then obviously to go towards the end that was when he's like sensitive you got that before that on that and as soon as him and Chrissy yeah that was the magic so he just fantastic they shot Chrissy's death scene before they did that scene and the duffel brothers were furious with themselves because the chemistry between them two was electric that they wanted to explore it more there was so angry no but i think it was quite beautiful and poignant as well because it's like it always will leave the question like what if or what we've gotten and it leaves a little bit like she gives us a bit of the mic on my ears type of things like you don't really know what's going to happen but it's nice to imagine and that's that's something but she was a lovely little character as well like a little like thing that you kind of didn't get much from but like you've got a lot from what she was brought put out you can tell she was incredibly distressed and her life wasn't probably the best but she saw a little bit normality and she's probably being put in this pedestal by everyone else but Eddie didn't treat her that way Eddie tried like a normal person you could see him and he as i said he definitely had a mountain type of vibe because i would fold him like say anywhere like you could say i would have i know i've started a cult but i would have been part of Eddie most but i know a lot of people say young Robert Downey Jr vibe from as well very much them eyes it's the eyes he looks so much like a young Downey Jr in them oh one of the 16 candles and said almost fire and stuff like that weird science yeah it's just it's that look but and then someone was saying like he's ledger and i was like what's just the hair yeah that was just the hair but the beest just look like Downey Jr. oh yeah and then he got the concept and i did you know he actually completely struck the actual everyone because he actually got the guitar and he started playing master of puppets in front of them because they were just going to do it all the way up and he actually did it because like i don't know like i will never know until like someone comes out and says if he actually played on that because but Dustin's reaction and facial expressions was that like other live performance and like they're when he even saw the beats and everything i know like say they are great actors and stuff but it's hard to explain it's like that and fake that real story and say that entertainment because when he's just sitting there because he idolized Eddie like that because Dustin has the best friendships in this in the whole show like his relationship with Steve like just stole the show his relationship with Erica and like say Robin like say when they went off and like fought the Russians themselves was humbling like say even like say he's abandoned with Lucas when they're always arguing but i've never seen anyone idolize anyone like that for a long time we looked up to Eddie it was like Eddie was his god but he was like an old like geek version of him whereas like obviously Steve's like a different kind of dynamic Steve's not totally annoyed as he's sort of like yeah Steve's not really a talk now yeah Steve's his brother Eddie makes him realize that it doesn't it doesn't value your age you can still you can still be yourself yeah but his thing in Dustin's reaction was probably what brought my heart out yeah Dustin's speech yeah like all the aspects like from like Eddie's talent Dustin like when they were playing in the field same don't ever change that's when he knew anyone was gonna die that's when he knew anyone was gonna die yeah it was that moment that's what that part made us cry in the first suit in the first bit of it and we'll get an upset as well that really that strip of code with us and but yeah their relationship was brilliant here's the as well because obviously every single person who's seen the image of Eddie with the guitar so right that's how he's going he's going down there because he's going to space around and by the back but obviously they got back and went about with Steve and then that's obviously when he was like no I thought his death was meaningful in respect that he bided them some time my sister saw it in a completely different way my sister said his death meant absolutely nothing because he actually didn't bide anyone any time because then Bat fell not long after and also they were already strung up by the time he got there and she was like it kind of it if he seemed to be just but if he majorly sacrificed himself for somebody for somebody like as in Justin was in trouble I was I'm gonna put myself in that position then that would have been a more justified debt than him going off to find some bats I don't see it that way that was what my sister pointed out so just to turn that round a little bit as well I don't think Eddie's death had anything to do with anyone else what Eddie? Because he said all the through like he was running away that was the whole thing I'm saying I'm no he more he wasn't trying to be a hero that was the thing he just was so sick of running I'm still being scared and if he went back he would have to just keep running because everyone's after everyone still thinks he's a bad guy so if he went back yeah I can't say it that way that way that way that way that way that way that way that's actually that's actually sorry I am like I said at the beginning that's not how I say it and he wasn't it was the case that he didn't want to run anymore and he probably did want to be a hero in a way because that's what he's character that you wanted to do just as to his character through dating because he really held his day in the games very close to his heart they were his life and his death scene will stay with me for a very long time definitely incredibly long time no I agree and I say that's saying with Dustin and his uncles make 20s change the sign because no one it's always like saying with these type of action or adventure movies that are so outlandish that you can't tell people because no one will believe you're the lot you're up to say you're insane if you do it in real life but the fact that Dustin's back to explain it in a way so that his uncles could realize that Eddie wasn't like they're chicken it wasn't like they're trying to hide he died because he wanted like people to be safe he wanted like say he wasn't afraid anymore yeah it was the fact he turned around and said I wish they knew him like I knew him yeah and I would love him and I broke my heart that I like something and someone had said that I am that we'll never got any Eddie and we'll would have loved like the health I could have been like Eddie and still I was like oh my god I generally don't think he would have because then that's now because he's very much grounded to his friend call group and then that's taken away from his call group I don't know if he would have liked that that's why he killed that's how will had him killed yeah it was will it's all along you said that's all in the hard the only thing I'd say about will because I'm not a big fan of will but I did enjoy these moments with Jonathan and I do think that was really beautiful the way that the way that the portrayed them sort of moments where Jonathan could see in the car that will was upset and then that's why you sort of had the conversation with them and through that a lot no yeah it was like I said a lot of beautiful moments like going through like um will not will I might finally tell an L the reason why you can't say I love you and make stuff because it was more fear of letting that feeling out there to be become vulnerable and be hurt and be left behind because as I said at the start will I mean Mike isn't anything special like see everyone else brings him to the group I know the will that he sees the heart but that's just really fancy them but um other than being like the love candy for um for L it doesn't really have much other role in the team anymore just like Gospels was yeah sorry sorry I do like having all games a bit of um a villain because he likes pineapple on pizza so all gals is the throwback to changing charm that's I think I think I've been really but he had beautiful hair. I enjoyed him actually in my lap.
Whoever's was I enjoyed him and I think I was good at it. I did I did more than what I did in the first one yeah I did well he came out a little bit more as a kind of guy I think. I really enjoyed L's um transition from no powers to finding out how actually strong she is and because L's always been govered by anger the her powers come from being angry always have done from the very start right up until the series she's only ever done something out of anger and she showed that when she went for Angela because that's what that's her goal too is that's how our powers were to see her finally use love as a way to channel our powers was so beautifully done and when she came out and lifted that tank up and just seamlessly put it down for anyone they not really paid attention to be like well okay like that's put that meant so much because she was she was for the first time in control. Yeah I think L's journey has been a slow one because I think the two problems I've tried to give them more when they had to go off and meet a sister and her mother and type thing and it didn't quite work so it had it rearing about in so I think they've been learning four ways to try and expand on move her forward I wasn't a big fan of shivin ahead again as well I didn't see why that was such a prevent part of it.
It helps that channel it's the same with the war it tank it's more it's less there less to fuss with less to be just around ahead it's to make ahead more clearer right because it's a bit of them all I don't know but put a bit many bobby brown did she have a hair off on the first series for that? I don't know if I appear some big books to do that this time because she's getting some work now with exicius but they're playing the young chalak with it. Eleanor Holmes the exicius is doing social definitely not one at all. No it's fantastic she really is like it's just how she emorts like with her eyes more than anything else because like she tells more stories than her eyes than more actors and actresses can like say with say in a full sentence or a full word but um it's like I know there's probably a lot of things like that's been left open from this that's going to be probably tight hopefully tied up in season five like the whole relationship up with Nancy and Steve and Jonathan and I do think we're going to see a lot more depth because I think the duffel brothers have realized now when they ended up like there was going to be deaths and leading up to this one the kind of internet broke so I think they'll probably lead on there so we'll probably see a few of the protagonists go I can't say in the hop of making it out of season five I think his story's been told now but I did say something on the internet the other day for him which I thought was absolutely beautiful um he's wristband the blue wristband was he's little girls hairband so when you watch back in the first season she's got a blue hairband and when she finds out it's not well he's got the blue wristband for it and he's wore it and every single person is saying sorry there's Elna with us I don't know Elna with her band around her hand I'm not sure if that possibly because he but I don't think he had it when he was in Russia so that might even be quite thought that would be might have took it off when he put his uniform on I mean I just said that the only reason the cat and the washer was so long was to explain his weight loss he could have been on all the ways and he like his character is just better it's just better yes so again with a lot of different elements that were in and all with as you said the callbacks to Halloween and stuff was but once but anyone catch the ones in Russia the sword was supposed to be the sword from Conan and the ballbarian where did that come from we were like I saw Conan from?
I don't know like see it was a good thing so Russian army there probably was not lots of different types of weapons but it was supposed to be the sword used in Conan and the ballbarian ah right I was just more confused as to how a sword got there I was like that wasn't it before oh when she was in the flashback with Bob I was like oh no no you guys can't deal with this again come on we found out let's talk about a few of the characters we've lost throughout like as you said the Sean Aston character Bob was a big boy because they do and they're usually well they're getting characters like you do get invested in them they're all right when they're doing the first season barbs was a great character like see the wishy left and was killed was so devastating as well is it a Lexi? what was he called? a Lexi as well to get the Russian signers who just lost lerties he was so fun with the brilliant and like how good he was he loved as well and his but I clear and then we've got these along with our table got Chrissy and actually Eddie in this in this season but I wasn't too fussed about the little the pay of the geek his death didn't really go as much on that oh no I didn't really care yeah but it would be interesting if they actually end why they chose them people as well and others had it was through trauma and stuff but do they have any connections to will or to vector as well and all I think there was a theory about the therapist wasn't there as well if she had it um a clock necklace I brought you something I think was a theory of that as well so I don't know is it not guilt as well that's the tracking because didn't max if I finally admit that she did not feel bad when he died when I actually wished for it and then she didn't actually feel that bad when he actually did die and it is a guilt thing because it was guilt for her guilt for the paper boy because he didn't he won someone over or something? or he didn't in an accident you didn't do something oh I'll say that though Chrissy is guilt over the fact of because she clearly is she comes from she sounds like she comes from a pageant family they kept referencing the fact that they had to keep taking out her cheerleading suit yeah and I think it's the guilt and stuff yeah and I think it's guilt over the fact of how she probably looks at herself but yeah so I know I've gave my theory on what I think probably we'll go off things but do you have any other theories?

role and I do I'm sorry to say I do think Mary's gonna die as well yeah I think there's gonna be some casualties and Sarah's just said now Max has gone I can't see Max being there's no reason to bring our back in the first place Exactly and it's only in the only way the gonna close the upside down because if she's still alive then there's no reason for that to be open yeah I think that's gonna bring her back but they're gonna have to defeat Vek to bring Max back so I do think the big mission isn't gonna be the Sea of Hawkins it's gonna be Sea of Max that's gonna be the big story I don't have to go through more like stupid traumatic stuff like any more I think she's been throwing her when I was in chat yeah the reunited scene between her and she closed the door and she's left it open three inches my heart just went I waited the whole so I was like it was a couple of you means I wanted obviously Joyce and Robert but the main one that I wanted was Robert and Elle and I was waiting the whole time I was like one other gonna like see each other again and I just cried me I know but that's gonna be I think that's gonna be the big finale is when you're gonna unlock Elle completely and truly it's gonna be a big death so I think it's gonna be Hoppe or Mike in front of Elle I'm gonna be with Mike I think a lot of people but it doesn't make sense story wise to kill off like Mike to be honest again that could be the big twist to go that's gonna be the one that unlocks Elle to go full nuclear on everything because I think we've gotten this is Elle powerful I don't think this is Elle at a full power I think there's more to her there's something else I was gonna say I'm totally front otherwise it the good one's just brought up the cinematography in this series not just disneyc all of them but especially that closing scene when they're on the field and then flowers we were just talking about how I am very sensory when it comes to colors my eyes could not tick off the colors of them flowers and then for them to die and I'd say wow that is beautiful definitely but I think all the colors all through like the reds like I know the years of reds and stuff like that um very very like it's so like iconic as well that that's strange I think if you've seen that image of the sky that's just sort iconic that's just really nice isn't it definitely I don't want to be sad when this ends now because like it's it's taking four seasons for the hit it's peak and all a lot of people have been seeing that the femme the last two episodes a bit anti-climatic I was a big builds but I think it needed to because you didn't need a big fight or anything like the fight between vector and L in the in the high school gym was was pretty cool uh sorry we got this on no I was just gonna match what you said with the people saying it was I've read a few things people saying it was anti-climatic but for me it wasn't just I love build up to things I love hype I love getting on board with like what's gonna happen with like all these theories and that and it's it's something I've been missing for a really long time like ever since um end games don't know what it was about end games but it was just it was an end of like end of looking forward it's not because the game of thrones it ended then the Marvel Cinematic Universe ended the um thingy what you call it the infinity saga and it just felt so flash with such a long time and this got us like proper hyped up like now I'm hyped up with thawing again I think that's probably why people some people may have been disappointed because there was so many theories that they might have thought oh well more me and character should have died or they should have it all that should happen because there was so many theories but I think it was perfect because like it wasn't obvious like it was like the whole way through you were like they're gonna now die because so was the strange and uh Dr. Strange multi-verse of mother's set where everyone had that many theories or a better idea shall we say yes I think with this one um it didn't disappoint it hit the nordes it needed to it made the right choices and i know it sounds hard but made the right choices on who to keep who to leave off the board going forwards because let's be honest if they kept Eddie where's Eddie got a go now yeah okay he was a great character but we had that arc but what if he wasn't Eddie like the whole town here and Eddie and like Eddie being like yeah because well it wouldn't have changed would it because that day class of day kept referring to it as an earthquake well let's be honest they probably think that you know hell's opened wide open because anyone's still out there that's what their thoughts would be so anyone never of getting these redemption through that town that we wanted to see so he got put he got it his uncle got it and I think that was the most important person who needed to hear it and Dustin and Dustin will carry that with him as well we got an actual concept and I think we'll see a different Dustin next season as well because of the arc yeah as it's stronger and I know we haven't even mentioned it fucking Susie how cool was Susie it's saying her in person saying how clever and like say integral as well so and because like that's one thing I did love about Dustin how clever he was and she far exceeded him in every way and what a lovely just like like say what a nice little person when they went actually say him and saying the house that she lived in and how manic and crazy it was and she's on the roof attaching something and you're like she's back shit crazy so yeah I hope the scent for Susie to come and help as well and say yes definitely if anyone also finds Dustin thinking that I want it it's on it I've seen it I mean not as chow up on it I'll link you with it thank you I just I loved it I think Dustin is such a beautiful character he's there he will always be the voice of reason the not the smartest one in the room because he never tries to he just he knows he is but he doesn't try to force that on everyone and he's just such a beautiful person how beautifully he's written is amazing definitely and it is as a central the voice of reason because that's what the played about the first thing was when him and when Mike and Lucas were being dicks he was the one next thing no this is the rules similar rules and I loved that they used like the chords but that we grew up in those kids so they'd be reinforced it's so much and it was like so and I think Dustin is one of them but kids that anyone could be friends and it does happen to the sort of like Steve falls in love with them Robin does say during the season as well because Rob is like oh why is he saying all you know kids keep on the ice cream bar and he hangs about one of them on it's like good and as he said they look with his little sister Erica makes it make the intel she adores Dustin as well otherwise he would have gotten lost when asked him to play D&G and what was in the interim the D&G as well it was absolutely amazing to think of it now and it was to do with Mike Aponi wasn't it what's mint Eric is now my favourite Erica and I wasn't it someone's gonna comment it and it was in there and he knows he's just a double Jack yeah thank you Sarah yes I might be completely wrong whether it's a moment when I try using him for that now but yeah I like the wrong thing I know I was definitely princess that was exactly okay so it's repeated twice it's definitely princess that was definitely just I want I want nothing but the best for Dustin I really want nothing for the best of my kid but the scene with him and Steve whether in the car and he goes if you keep talking so much I'm not he takes back out and he's just goes to pharma and he's like no one out of the window into the house and he says maybe he says in seep it was maybe he says a clockmaker and just in goes you crack the case it's like we all have torches and distance like do I have to think that everything for you it's in the bag like I just love them so I won I would love nothing more than just to watch 20 hours of them too I think the first bit we got bit was under the reel me like wasn't it and he was asking him what he wore in his hair and he was telling him about the Farah 4-6 yes oh yes and then he goes to the prom and he's like trying to pick up the girls but I was but then Nancy saves him as well that was a beautiful moment it shows like these people actually do care about each other as well I think it's nice work in real life and he was with them all and you can see they're like friends in real life and things like that because you could tell that chemistry like on the screen like have you seen Lucas read like recently out of these strange things haircut just these normal himself he looks like Michael B Jordan so much oh look at her she got off on everything she hasn't been just a kid but she's a lower it came to us just Steve and then it was Steve and that's how we did every time he came on the telly bean i was good steve i mean absolutely love him but he does have one of the best congressional story arcs throughout these goals that we all be so happy at the end when robin's not into that girl i tonight and he's smiling he's just so so so proud dad like he is the dad of the group and he had like such a proud dad moment how much did that girl who robin was talking to like rock monitoring world or yes i got to make my future when he rickin would vibes massively but i want to give seva bit of credit as well because like the season when robin tells him because when he's hinting that he likes her and she's like yeah you're bottom of the wrong story and she thought oh how's he gonna react to this and he doesn't even miss a beat and he's just talking about like like she just gave him like to her she told him the biggest news and her most deepest secret and he just accepted him as i get move on like say that's that's talking about this like say if you could go like it looks like a puppet so it was just like say it's such a nice little point you look like just like she look like a man like more and more actually it looks like i does like so much like every time i say i want to say i want to something i'm like oh my god she looks exactly like her she's exactly like the character as well when you say like if you're done something just just robin's been rude i think with robin her her arc went from being tough because she's she's got a secret hasn't she you know she and she doesn't want anyone and all about it then creates vulnerability she doesn't want that when that secret finally out she's then allowed to be herself and then you get this goofy silly very clumsy person that is robin who i completely fell more in love with in this season than i did when we first introduced and i loved like it was first i kind of say one of the best scenes ever when her and steve are talking about boobs in the car yes i was like yes i'm all for this but and and i said everyone gets the shining moments in the issue and hers was when they're in the like the saga title and how they're trying to be your professional and nancy's floundering seem to be not gonna be and robin just loses her shits and you've got me in this fucking stupid cause and i'm getting jean i'm comfortable this this person's being a dick i've tried to go through the channels just let us do what we want to do and the guys like doesn't know what to say and it's like that was like to say a like so the season saw far as well because every single character even the mad Russian sir was a sir game like he was a complete bellenn but yeah you loved him in a way because he was mental and love pain of butter and kind of cheating get from american stuff what he basically tried to swindle him and shake them but then he had his moment of glory as well when the guy from game of thrones had the conversation saying you were war hero you were someone nice and look up to where's that person and that realization you went yeah this is when i got again the common rescue them in that clapped out helicopter thing that i don't know how they got everyone in because i have two seats so he's called yuri yuri that was it and sarah's just pointed out and this is what i'm laughing at i was the last baby to walk such a good like i loved how nancy couldn't stand her nancy was sort of tight to start with it was lovely he had a thing but didn't you yeah and she she was so uptight but not just about steve about everything like she was she was so i'm right you're wrong i know what i'm doing you don't and then when she finally started to accept it but with the help of everyone else she started to really loosen up and become the nancy that i really liked from the first series because i am not being that interested in her character at all until the last two that i've that we've just watched because she's finally fucking relaxed yeah that was a big thing but as i said the friendships were formed and everything in these things just with each season to do introducing your characters and new elements i'm hoping we don't get too many new characters in season five i don't really want to be introduced to anyone new i think unless they're gonna be bring something special i don't think they will need any more big part us i think the last season is focused on who we have i don't think you're gonna have any more newbies coming in you're gonna have anyone else they have all bad eyes something like you know anything i generally i generally don't think the duffabrothers realized what any was gonna do for people and i'm fine with the fact that he's not gonna be in the last series it's totally fine with that but i don't think we actually got what kind of impact he was going to have on people we'll have a lot of people that have comic on this weekend yeah the laugh flashbacks like they'll do the whole but he's saying well it'll appear in like certain things and it'll be like probably just like if the back again gets in the dust and head they'll have images of any like send send letters down and you're not living up to it so that's probably like say elements that might get again when someone's just pointing out the chat and i am all for it if they do give us a spinoff or have done it like they've done exactly that they've created a world that like we're invested in it we're we're hoping to have fun for them as well because they're obviously just like love these movies and things and they've been they get all their references in and like even obviously the course was sent by an old sister was the course was so happy and then and so that like to be able to live like right in that way we were getting in sometimes not less so but the goresbus is thing it had to work with Sony because they hadn't all the timeline because the real goresbus hadn't come out yet so the prochon packs that we got as kids and the suits and that they hadn't been even developed yet so they had to know that they would have had to make their own suits yeah that's why the prochon packs were very much like whole mead and so i like that and the funny bit about like obviously um the characters other wanted to be and things like that was really funny yeah again that's like Lucas again not fitting in because they couldn't even agree on who was who it was because he didn't want to be the boring one who wasn't part of the team just because of his game which is getting quite quite poignant and quite to the point as well i know sometimes i do smack it in your face but sometimes it needs to be and i think makes it through the innocence of kids as well was done and quite when like mike's response was perfect to that because i would have done the same i would ask it he's gonna kick it and throw that car out as the first thing i'm fucked up but so many different elements as i said like of just the TV show that we had these references would have got one season and being bored very quickly but i wouldn't doubt it'd have been happy but you'd have been in the elements but i totally got their my opinion is a strange of things five won't actually be the end but it may just be the end of the cast of individuals and a time period i could see ten year later the night you series in a different place have you heard the rumors about season five no that's that's lowest has pointed out there um it's it's going to be set in the 90s for for it's going to be a few years after the event of what happened now all the kids yeah yeah because it's easier yeah all the kids are going to be the actual age they are in real life so they're not trying to play younger kids instead of so it's going to be based in the 90s and so all the 90s fashion and all the 90s references of course i'll be hilarious effect it takes on the form of a dinosaur from Jurassic Park yes no problem rapture or something i knew there was going to be a time jump i just wasn't sure because obviously the kids aren't kids anymore other looking like young adults and i love the fact that the plan to that as well because they're not going to have children you know how like in greasy had um chan chan who was 32 playing 18 year old you're not going to have that happening here so i love that yeah it'd be interesting because like i said we've had four seasons of deities now there's only so many 80s references and stuff to fit in so it'd be quite like i wouldn't mind saying that a grunge a bit of nirvana but like i said i'd love a lot of that on like and it will go at the end of days now so make it dirty don't don't make this poppy and and think make it dirty make it trashy make it scary make it better at all good 90s already there as well it would have to be like early 90s anyway so probably yeah um so no i don't think it's gonna make like it would be too much of a job it's just gonna be one of them shows i'm looking forward to the final season because we're going to get a finale and we'll get that collection so it'll be i just hope we don't go all game with ones and that's not me can't see us having that let down if anything i feel like we're going to be chopping it the bit and want more that's what i think they're going to do i don't think they're great like any opportunity some theories Laura i'm not going to change the way i think with my theories time that i'll say when i thought about it makes sense and Rob said that for a while as well actually he thinks that will serenade show like so when we've done the episode you know how much i love that show but 15 seasons that sure should have been done in six no 10 i would have given it honestly the first 10 seasons was felt the repetitiveness of 10 it would have been perfect and severs this point that was well i'm sorry about that all here she was glad that the umbrella and kind of be knocked into things off most watch for that week not anymore it's changed today so yeah i love the umbrella academy i'm a huge fan of that show and the graphic novel but even i could not give a shit that that's really on i think mean that watching charlotte was just pure joy yes so we are trying to knock it up and keep moving forward as well because i don't want to just complacent with this we wanted to keep doing it and enjoying it because that this is our 75th episode and is still fun that's the main thing we are having as much of last as this as as the first episode that you never will see because you'll never ever see because we didn't record it i was i wasn't very clever at the back of them but look at us now we've got moving things look at where we were on the first episode chat it's so funny when you watch the first episode back because you can hear us try and not to say what we said the first time round so funny but just want to say like say the community as a whole keeps each one of us going each year
