all the time. There it gets Michael. I love you. I can go slow it.

Come on down and jump some of this shit. I'll do some scary movies. Scary movies. Hell of this.

This is my brody. Damn we saw all we kicked it down. Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice.

It's your dad. So alive. Well, I'm everyone and welcome to the Nerd yet North Mad Guys. It's a many podcasts in this host of I Know the Nerds.

I am one of your hosts Sam. And I am the host Paul. And we are joined by BBC's very own Dainesal Levin festival going. Transdiva in the green queen herself.

You can catch it every week on BBC upload show and has now joined the podcast in world with a very young podcast called Hara Gohorn. We are so happy to welcome back. Friend of the podcast. Emma.

What a little intro. Something that we've been trying to practice in the last few weeks doing intros focus. It's better than me just saying it's Lee. He's a dick.

I mean, there is that but did you notice the green? Oh, yeah. You were a lot of green. I think the day I've not got my special merch on the day.

Oh, it's a very special t-shirt. Representing the colours there. So yes, Emma has been a huge supporter of not just the podcast but pretty much everything that we do know you know of. And it's not a first appearance.

Even though you'll never be able to see her first appearance because YouTube hears us. She came on to talk about Jurassic Park during the charity stream and had so much fun. The hour blew past so quickly that she didn't want to leave. I'm of managed to get her because she is the busiest working girl in show business as well.

I managed to get her to come back on and we're very excited to have everyone. So thank you so much for supporting us as well. Thank you. Thanks for being great because you do great things.

So we've got to shout about these things. And to be fair though, and I've got to give you an extra praise as well because on the radio yesterday and I did send Samia text, she called me a genius. You called him a genius. He's still right.

He's kind of gone. You know what I'm saying? So yes. Yeah, he messaged with my genius now and I know.

In the bio now. Yes. So it's all the genius. It's going to stick.

It's going to be around forever. So yes. My ego will not come down now. So that's fine.

But yes. Shall we get the disclaimer out the way? We can kick off what I believe is going to be quite an epic episode. Just before that because as we know, we always normally do get newcomers.

Emma's not technically a newcomer, but if we're under the boss a little bit, give us your nerdy credentials at Emma's. Tell us what you're nerdy about. Oh, right. It's like an intro.

I hate me obviously this thing. I am nerdy about, as mentioned before, Jorasqua. I love Jurassic Park. I love dinosaurs.

I am nerdy about games. I love Smasher and a few Bickly Roya girls in Fortnite. I play a lot of under water scuba diving games. So not just one of my favourite.

And what else? Just don't play. I got the dolphin. It'll give you a...

I used to turn it back in the day of the Sega Mega Drive. Don't you worry. I think that's probably where it came from. The PDSA is real lucky.

And of course I'm very, very nerdy about Sherlock, which I'm excited to talk about because it's been so long. No, certainly. It has been a minute. But I think we'll get Sammy to get a disclaimer because Sammy's very proud of a disclaimer.

And this is the disclaimer that has been on the BBC. Yes. Thank you to the lovely lady down there who put the whole thing on. I can't see it.

These words have been heard on the BBC. Everything discussing today's episode is our opinions and our opinions alone. If you'd like to discuss anything from today's episode, please come join us in the Facebook group. The Discord, or the comment section where we can have an open discussion.

But what we want to have is anyone coming for us and tell us our opinions are wrong. We can all agree to disagree and find them. So let's keep it fun and keep it kind and keep the toxic behaviour out of a nerdism. Very well said there.

Thank you. So yes. And just to say a big thank you for coming on and giving us this suggestion as well because I wanted to do a Sherlock episode for so long. And I know when I was initially talking I remember about like getting around the podcast.

I was like, okay, what kind of things can you be nerdy about? What kind of things you enjoy? The first suggestion, I'm not going to lie, I shit myself and was like, oh no, how can I talk about it? She said, have you talked about Disney's Pixar Cars?

And I was like, oh, I like Pixar. It's not my first choice. You made me watch Cars. It probably would have been better than me in this last year.

Right, but I haven't laughed right? But I'm not a great franchise. Cars one, Smash. Cars two, don't bother.

It's absolutely rubbish. Cars three. Or give you the best ones to go straight there if you want it. You know, you've got to settle for that.

I'm all about planes because there was a spin off all planes as well. I know, I'm a track disc. I'm waiting for submarines. I want the whole lot of automobile films.

Have we got the female version of Michael Goodworth? The captain is in the chat as well. The man in the time he sends the message. I've seen this car.

It's a car. I love these cars. I've just bought some Lightning McQueen Crocs. Really?

Lee loves the Croc. Lee J. and Chris are the Croc kings in the podcast chat and stuff. If you post that in the group, you will get a lot of likes, trusters.

But yes. When they go. And the second suggestion was Sherlock. I was like, yes, great.

Because it's strange. I didn't get into Sherlock first time round. I didn't start watching it till my lovely wife went. I was like, no, because I'm one of the old school.

I love the Arthur Cone Doyle stories. I love the old TV shows that feature TV, like movies that were called. Because they weren't in the cinema. They were always just like, made for TV.

I TV special type things. They used to come out. And I was like, I don't want to think it'll work. They're telling off Sherlock.

I was like, this is amazing. This is great. And I just fell in love with the show and the characters from that moment. So what about you guys?

When did you first get into the new, is this which classes has the new telling of Sherlock or the modern telling of Sherlock? It's the modern version, is it? I think I was a bit of, I didn't know, I thought Sherlock was a real person. I didn't know it was a fiction character.

I was a little like, whenever. But I remember watching it. I was like, I know, I'll give that a go. Because I think like any girl that was, I don't know what age I was but first came out.

I was young and Benedict Cumberbatch was the sexiest man I'd ever seen in my life. So I was like, you know what? I'll give that a watch. And watch it.

As well as you Paul. Fell in love with the characters. Fell in love with the story. And it'd be in modern.

But you're always thinking, oh, Sherlock, it's, you know, monocles and people. You know, like Victorian Britain. And it's not like that. Like he had a mobile phone.

You know, it was London. Like we see it. We'd be into it. So I knew it was going to be like that.

I was like, yeah, this is it. And then the first series just, wow. Yes. Robert, you, Sammy?

Well, it was a new year special. All right. So we came out on New Year's Day. And I remember the lead up to it.

And I am a huge Sherlock fan. And a huge Benedict Cumberbatch fan. And he was just, and Martin Freeman from the office. Well, love him.

But I know I've said some wingy things before we came on about it. But I genuinely love this when it came out. And it was devastating. It was only three episodes.

Did we didn't know if we had to wait another year for it? Another two years for the next one. That's the thing. That's why it was Brits do it better than the Americans.

Because the Americans we would have had 24 episodes in one season, 17 million seasons. And it would have been oversaturated to the point. And then you know, kind of just end things. Yeah.

Yeah, but it was a new year's special and it was like kind of like a new year's day. We didn't see, are we actually going to get a Sherlock this year? Are we not? And then by the time season three came out, I was like, I don't care anymore.

Because it was just so it was so drawn out to the point of a little bit ridiculous. And I know the writers Stephen Moffatt and Mark Eiters were very heavy into Doctor Who at the time. And so I know a lot of time was taken up with that. And then obviously you had Martin Freeman going off to do the Hobbit along with Benedict Cumberbatch going off to do the Hobbit.

And things got in the way. And it was like Sherlock just became like a, I'll forget it. When we get to it, kind of thing. And in the middle of that Robert Downey Jr brings that fucking terrible film out.

Awful. Don't even come at me. You know what I mean? I didn't mind.

I'll be honest. I'm one of the strange people that's like, young Sherlock that was done by Spielberg back in the day. I wasn't know it wasn't Spielberg. It was produced by Spielberg but it was the, I've come with directed it now.

Good old television in the chat. But that pan big style that was came out. Was there? Was there any other time they were trying to do that young Indiana Jones and like young down there, all the characters?

Possibly. But it was like a big blockbuster at the time in the 90s. I think it came out. So it was like, it was like the next big franchise and it didn't do that as well as the thought it was going to do.

But I still like Robert Downey Jr. even though Robin Downey Jr. Sherlock was an interesting choice. But I still think Jude Lord was okay as Watson.

I do like a bit of Jude Lord. But that's the worst British accent ever for Downey Jr. I'm sorry, he's British accent is actually quite good. Because he can do a read because he's Australian accent is amazing.

He's English one is just as good and he's really good in Chaplin as well where he does English accent in that. So sorry Beth. I'm going to have to agree to disagree with you on that one. You started arguing in the chat already.

Everyone's saying the fight new over at the same. I'm hard as fuck. I'm not joking. I'm soft as shit.

So yeah, so you've seen about the episodes. So we had four seasons, three episodes per season and we had one TV special. I didn't know that had four seasons. I generally thought that was just three.

So I got a shot the other day when I went on the BBC. I did the play and I was like four and a special. Did they? We don't mention the special.

It was a bit. I like what they did with it. It's where they try to be to clever and I think my problem with the show because I genuinely am a big fan of the show. They're kind of spent.

They kind of went too hard too early with like Murray Artie and the ending of season two. It kind of painted themselves in a corner. It was like, how are they going to beat like Sherlock's ultimate four like spoilers if anyone's ever watched it. It's basically season two.

That wasn't a place for Murray Artie. Murray Artie would should have been the build. It should have been the final episode or season with Sherlock should have been like the fierce off with him and Murray Artie. And then just as it is, would play out nicely.

I think after the done season two, I don't know if they had any plans to do more or was kind of like, this kind of gives us an easy out. If the actors can't come back to do it, then at least on a cliffhanger, but it also finishes the story. But then when the brought back was like shit, we need to get a big bad. And they kind of never really got the momentum back from that from season two.

I disagree. I think that Murray Artie was like, you knew he was coming. So he had to come in sooner. And I feel like after spoilers again, you know, Murray Artie's gone or he disappears or whatever happens.

And he's still such a prominent throughout. He's still like Flashback scenes and still hearing you know, and the final episode planning is all ahead. And I think it's actually genius. And I think every bad guy we got was better and better and better.

And that for me was like the best. Right. Interesting though, because I know like I say the Magnuson bad guy in season three. But not at all.

Like start off really sinister and really think, but then become a bit of a damn squid at the end. That's it. That potential like a man that has the memory and the like to keep the world secret. So everyone's a little dark and like use everyone to play off for leverage as he comes in.

And he was taking out the way he was. It was kind of like, oh, that to me again. But that's why I always liked the Sherlock ones because it was always like a chess game. I was like trying to outsmart the person, but that's the thing he didn't know.

It smart me just use brute force. You just went pull it to the head that takes him out the game, which is like, all right. It's not as delicate as it could have been. If for me, it's such an easy way for writers to do that.

And with the series, I put it on the other day and I was stored the first episode is some of the best right. And in British television, it is absolutely perfect. Second one's not as bad, but you're coming off the back of the first one. It's like it's always going to be a bit.

It's not just going to be quite there. But the third one was brilliant. That first then first three episodes for me is unreal writing. And then you get into the second one.

Yeah. But if you talk about the first episode, I'd say what was it called? The study in pink. It was based on a study in Scarlett.

I see I've got my notes there. So yes. And what a way to start though as well, because I wasn't expecting it as coming in because it's didn't start with Sherlock and starts with. Dr.

Watson. And I think that was an interesting choice as well. Because as you said, you tune into Sherlock, you expect to see Sherlock Holmes from the get go. But it's kind of given Dr.

Watson his backstory and his like say initiation into the story and into the world of Sherlock as well. And Martin Freeman, like all we're throughout doesn't hit a bum not at all. Even from season one to season four, he is the emotion. He is the driving factor.

He is the one that you care about more than anything. And he's the one that goes for the most. He's the doctor that goes to war and he never really leaves that one. He's always looking for the war as well.

He's cleared absolutely perfectly by Martin Freeman. So I've got to give him credit all the way through. I love Martin Freeman in this first episode, the way that he, like you're right, the war doesn't leave him ever. And it's evident through these PDSD.

And it goes so far as to when he's told let's go and he leaves, he's stick behind. He's in, he's in Walmart Martin Freeman in these everything. He's us really is the audience who's just trying to kind of like figure out what the hell is Sherlock talking about. I love the way he questions it.

You know, you always think, you know, what would what would he be doing without Sherlock? I think Sherlock gives him that lease of life and everything. And I think this is really going a bit off topic, right? But when I watched it, I got so involved that I was in with the proper fan people.

I was proper and indulged with everything Sherlock Sherlock Sherlock. I want to know, look all the way. Everyone's there. So you would have been in that.

What was it called? The, the, uh, the, uh, the episode name where they had to like, where the store Sherlock was dead and they were had a little bit of waiting and stuff. I can't remember what it was either. But yeah, that was basically me.

And I want, and somebody said, right? And honestly, we watch it. We watch it as if Sherlock is in law for John. Yeah.

And this is actually a whole romance. I honestly, you'll never see it again. It's the same. It's, it's always hinted at all the way through because they always make the same gag.

They make, keep on making what's in there. I'm not here. They take them. Yeah.

It's in the restaurant scene when he's like, so you've got a boyfriend or a girlfriend. And he's like, I'm very flattered, but I'm very committed to my work right now. I love that scene. And he's like, you know what?

I tell you what, because I know we're talking about the start and the first, like the big line, what kind of delivers to us. And again, I made a note of it because I thought this is the starting point and this is the changing point for the halls. Like his life, basically, when he's sitting to the psychiatrist, I'm just saying he goes, nothing happens to me. He expects to live the most ordinary life.

And just after he said that sentence, his world is changing forever. It'll never be the same because Sherlock Holmes comes into his life. And the first interaction as well. And that's when we get the new style of Sherlock as well, because it normally, like when we've seen Sherlock in the past, it's like him being clever and explaining everything, like, over-exaggerated and stuff like that.

It's like the quick edits, the words, like pointing out things. So it's like teaching the audience how Sherlock is doing his deduction. And it's so entertaining. And nothing was done like this before.

Like a lot of people have copied it since. But this was the first time this was kind of like brought in. It kind of reminded me of the first time of watching Gilmore Girls. And if you're a Gilmore Girl fan, you will understand what I mean, because the two main stars talk at each other incredibly fast.

And it takes a while for your ears to adjust and get used to the fact that these two talks so quickly at each other. And that's how I felt watching Rewatch and Sherlock again. I felt like I had to adjust my ears to be like, hold on. It's like watching Hamilton.

Hamilton is an incredibly fast musical. And your ears take a while to kind of tune in. And it was like that with him. I was like, oh, God, wait a minute.

What did you just say there? But then you get used to it. And you get used to the way that he talks. And it's to the point where like, you want to sort of beat him to it.

Yes. You're sitting now and you're like, no, you're going to be like, I'm getting you. Becomes a competition, definitely. When I was watching, I'll be watching, we watched it for ages.

And I was doing, I was at university doing broadcast media production. So I did half TV, half radio and half the TV side of it was learning about what angles are used for, what purpose. You know, that ruins watching television and movies for you. You're like, I don't know why I don't use that angle.

I don't know why I don't do that jump cut. You know, like it's for shadowing this. It's did it. So I was already in that mindset.

And then I'm also trying to work it out before Sherlock works out. And now I go do my day at a things, you know, like in the first ever episode with them, how the woman couldn't get a phone in the charger in the photo. Well, she was an alcoholic and the hands were always shaking. And I'm trying to get me key in the car.

And I'm just a little bit of an alcoholic. It's too much dancing trims. That's what it is. It's not that I'm all it's buying.

Everything I do, I'm actually a little bit of an alcoholic. I'll actually let it down. I'll tell you what I did love, as you said, with the being the modern talent, how you use the technology more to update the stories and the interaction with Watson as well. Where the changes it from doing the Watson's journal or writing the books to the blog.

I thought that was just a she is she a piece of brilliant writing and bringing that element in because that's how it would work to be fair. I going on now with that start now, we probably wouldn't be a blog. You probably be on a YouTube channel. So you should channel that would be a blog.

You wouldn't be a blog or you'd be a vlogger. I like it. I did like the name of the website as well. Perot of deduction that they called it initially.

And that's when we first heard the term where Sherlock likes I said, the game is on and then moved on to the investigation. Yes. Because that's what the name of that music is. I was being stuck in my head all week.

But it's a great song to be stuck in your head all week. Is it? When you're sitting there and trying to get to sleep and all you hear is do do do do do do do do do do do. And you're like, I feel like I should be going off and doing something right now.

I do that whenever I'm in London and I'm on the tube. I'm like, I'm in London. I'm in London. I'm in London.

So I'm, yeah, I was massive fan and we went to obviously the original two to one be on big street. I've got in my purse wherever it is. I have a little business card which I carry around with me all the time. Just in case I needed the tech.

But also I went to, it's not that far where the BBC Sherlock is actually not filmed on there. And I've been to speed these, which isn't actually called speedies. Or is it called speedies in real life? I feel like it's got something else to name, but you can go in there and have a sandwich.

I've got a greasy spoon. I've seen people like coming in out of like outside, like next to the. Did anyone wear the hat though? Did anyone wear the Sherlock hat?

I was just thinking, if I look at that, I'd be playing on it. You know what I mean? People are like, people are killing people. People are killing people is courting everything.

Yeah, getting on with that day and stuff. I'm like, sure, I'm saying, get out of here. Can I just talk about Sherlock's court for one second as well? I was just about to say, can we talk about the style in this programme?

Oh, like, see everything, like everything from, like, because one of the things I loved about was how dirty and gritty and grimy and made London look. Like, it didn't put paint London in a nice thing. But the outfits and what everyone wore, like Sherlock's dress sense was phenomenal. But the way put the court on, like who the fuck puts the court on like that?

I have a few courts like that where I could kind of like, toil it. Yeah, you've got to have some grace to do and some dignity to be able to do that as well. I think the best dressed throughout the whole thing was, um, his brother. Marcus is my, my craft.

My craft. My craft. Yes. I think he was the absolute best dress throughout it.

And the only interesting fact I found out about this was the best episode was the Tibetan Dumbo Bouch and Marcus both died their hair colour. They didn't have much in hair. Isn't that so cute? Isn't that so cute?

But you're right about London. How I feel about the aesthetic of it is that the try to, for all it is a modern day telling of Sherlock, it's still going to have kind of almost a Victorian feel about it. Which I actually quite liked and that's, you know, Sherlock did always wear tailored suits, which is what you would find that would happen in the Victorian, like, kind of time as well. Which I believe is when it's initially set.

Is that right? Yeah. So I do like that. One of the points is I want to make as well because this is where we start getting introduced to the characters and like the people that was going to be playing passes throughout the show as well.

I loved the guy who played Blistat. I've probably got said his name wrong now. Like, let's start. Sorry.

Oh, it's right. It was a different type of book there. Great. Greg.

Greg. The combination of two characters from the actual books. I remember that fact. But Blistat is always played as a bumbling idiot or very unlikable in like other shows or movies or even the book at times.

But I really liked him in this. He was like kind of like a human character and he kind of got Sherlock, even though the other place is always used to refer to him as a freak and was kind of worried that Sherlock was going to be. That Sherlock was going to be the one yet bored of solving the crimes. And as we got later on, the one that's committing the crimes as well.

So he's the one that kind of stuck his neck out and support Sherlock for a good. I thought I thought all the way through like the show he was such a likable character as well. I can understand why they used him that way because it made more sense. Yeah, I'll tell you why I absolutely love the scene I love in the first episode when he's getting the squatting for a drug bust and you've got Anderson in the kitchen.

That guy is amazing. I wanted more Anderson. No, we hate Anderson. But he was such a great counterpart to Sherlock because it was like just proving it how clever Sherlock is by how dumb Anderson was.

I love this. I love that scene so much. So before we start going through like I know because we'll try not make this a six hour episode because it could easily turn into that. Like the characters in this who was your favorite other than the main two who was your major like favorite side character because mine was Mrs Hudson.

She was just a fucking she was amazing. Later on in season four when she's doing the Hoover and downstairs and she's listening to me in a number of the bass while flying over and it was just fucking hilarious. But just like every time she's there coming up with something she'll be like the sweetest person's like yeah I mean ex husband was a drug dealer. I've got such and such this of course so much fun with the place.

Nothing based ever talk. Oh the great late Una stood she was an absolute British treasure that voice will be heard for decades to come because she had such a unique voice. I really liked and I didn't when I initially watched it and it's possible because I was looking more at the character and not the actress but Laura pull over who plays Irene Adler. Right okay absolutely thought she was fantastic.

Second time around. Oh she is beautiful. That is one of my favorite episodes of Sherlock as well just because you see a different side to Sherlock as well conflict so much conflict. And I think that's where I get the best out of Benedict Cumberbatch and look how easy it is to see his name now because remember when this first came out with all the different pronunciations or we as we were everyone used to see it.

Can we think of a number of stocks. Or who Benedict. No one knew how to say that the star but now everyone since like it's got like mega famous with Marvel and stuff everyone can say a Benedict Cumberbatch without even blink in the night. But yes Arlene Adler like what a stellar performance so.

Yeah absolutely how fits man the color and like that they just how they dress that woman was just unreal costume designer and this needs a big massive pat on the back but she looked absolutely phenomenal like I would be so conflicted with that woman. You can't get the woman because Arlene Adler in the book again. This is the big one in the book she was in a mirror and she was just like the female version of forms but she was basically the biggest con woman ever in the world but so intelligent and it fit fit the modern time that she was a dominatrix that she would just busy on everyone in that room and I love the first initiation when she said okay I'm going to wear me and you're thinking you're going to see a dominatrix leather PVC basically like in dressing like Jesse I'm going to expect like it but the way she basically is completely start naked and just throws Sherlock off and I love how they use her measurements as a key combination as well. Cause again if you see that side of Sherlock and it impressed you that they went to that much detail but yes I love that Arlene.

If you want a powerful woman in Sherlock you need a look at Molly Cooper. Oh. Oh my gosh, Paul. Oh, Molly.

Oh, Molly. Oh, Molly. Oh, Molly. Oh my gosh.

A gal, she is such a team player. She has overlooked all the time. And she is one of the most people that is on it. She had a heart of gold.

And she's so supportive for everyone in the characters. And she just has a heart. And I think, you know... Sherlock...

I know she has a mass fascination with Sherlock but we all... But Sherlock didn't know how lucky he walked. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

He kind of played with her little bit. But how funny is it that episode where she brings the new boyfriend And I think it was called Tom just I each other up and they look at each other and the right leg there's a lot of other things and oh shit she's replacing me with this. You really think about me? You know?

But yes, Molly was just absolutely. Molly was the best. And there's so much depth in Heartbreak with Molly as well. Like the final episode of Season 4 when I'm jumping all over the place now sorry but because we can't talk about Molly without this scene because this is the most heartbreak and scene in any of the Sherlock is when we got Una, Una wasn't it?

Sherlock's sister. Basically playing the game, playing like a twist of Keshy's castle with Sherlock going for all these different mirrors as well. You gotta complete. But honestly if you watch it it's like a Japanese game show when you're watching it when you're going through and one of the things Sherlock has to do otherwise Molly's gonna get blown up is getting Molly to see her.

I love you over the phone room and he's not allowed to tell her why he's asking it or that her life's in danger and he's like and you could tell like the heart because she truly does love him and she doesn't understand she thinks he's just messing with him and he's like no I'm trying to save your life here but he can't tell her that but that broke me today when I watch that episode after me. I tell you that whole I know that we talked about the last episode but that whole episode was traumatic. I remember crying in my eyes at the first time I was watching it with me brother in wherever the living room and she's like can't you cry over this? I'm like you don't understand you've got to be in the first series of turmoil.

Like it was like my mother. Obviously it was one of the saddest things ever you know not just with the heartbreak you know the the choosing between characters that Sherlock against the world like we've felt for him and John all the way through it to be fair and I think it was one of the hard watch but my god it's so good. Yes and I do want to give a big shout out to like say a fellow North East like I'm sure he's up on the North East. Mark Yiddis um I could be wrong but I'm sure he's from up here.

His performance is Minecraft like I know he was used as a bit part throughout when he was getting more and more screen time you kind of like understand the chemistry and his role in that final episode is so again I've used the word powerful but it's so immortal because Mariani describes it the best. He's always known as the Iceman and Sherlock's known as the Virgin. But but um seeing Minecraft come out realizing he's made a mistake and that he's like trying to get through it and it doesn't know how to react because he was like one of the tasks he's given a gun he's meant to shoot someone dead and he's like no I can't have blood on my hands type thing he's fair enough sending other people to do his dirty work but him doing the work himself and you could see real fair but the scene where Sherlock's got to choose whether to shoot Minecraft or John and then you see um like the performance side you think oh is he really being that mean to John tell them that he's just an insignificant fool and he should be killed off but he's doing it to wine Sherlock up to try and get Sherlock to kill him and I think because saying that like into play they realize how much of Minecraft actually loves Sherlock as a little brother and caring for him in that that he's seen all the way through. I was gonna say I got that instantly and you are absolutely right he's from Sedgeville County Durham did not know that yeah because of the other boys and most of them are from the North East there.

Wow I didn't have to know that he's a fellow he's a fellow horror nerd. He's really good at your mentoring and baby's thing was so good. Um but no you get that from you get that instantly from episode one but it's kind of it's not downplayed it's just the way market is played as Minecraft is that he doesn't know how else to be protective of Sherlock other than use the power and influence that he has that's kind of what I got from the first episode especially when he's wanting John to spy on him. Yeah like instantly I love the woman who's in the car with John.

Yeah absolutely love her where he's like um would you not tell your boss where we're going? Okay one thing I will give you one thing I will say about like uh this show as well and all like it's sad that we're talking about at this stage as well is how they use women in this show is so powerful like nobody's ever done something distress no one's ever like oh look down upon or downtrodden anything everyone has the role and so many powerful strong women like the strongest of them all Mary Watson is absolutely breathtaking and I found out the other day to hear that didn't realize that her and Martin Freeman were actually married during this and split up during this as well. Yeah he's ex-wife um the best part about it is that don't use a female to progress Sherlock further they don't need to use and I love that about any short way they don't need to have a female beat and you're right be the down's on the distress don't need it. No do you want to do what you're saying exactly right.

I think we're going back to the point of uh microf um I feel like he I really I didn't know what to think of him because I didn't know if he was out for Sherlock if he wanted to protect him what the crack really was and it was a bit muddled off but when I think I realized no no he's a good guy we like him is that scene where they go to um Sherlock's parents house and that Sherlock's parents are actually basically comparing his parents yes very very famous I did not know that's so new for me yes. Incredibly famous in the theatre world has been a big couple about his parents. Look it's not getting exactly the same but they're like yeah they do. It's just that they it's when Sherlock puts me in their tea and all the characters sort of fall asleep and then there's a microf but no before microf and Sherlock having to cigarette outside the house and they're like well we can't do it.

I was like you know what I was like you know what these two are actually brothers. Yeah. At this point you know it's all the all what going on the mind games whatever happens no these are actually family here and that's the real point where I was like you know no he's a good guy. Yeah get them away get them away from the city and into where their parents are brings out the actual brother side of them because microf is too overprotective.

I think it took a while for them to feel the rollout for microf as well because that started it was very League of Gentlemen vibes it was very much like Hilary the butcher like. Well it is when you're looking at the picture that I'm looking at now and he's staring right at his and I'm like hello do you want to eat some special meat? Well yeah um I see I'm anything I see the guys from the League of Gentlemen do I'm always going to watch like inside number nine is some of the best like work that the guys did as well but Marcus and all when he's writing something and he gets his teeth into it it's always like a passion project or something that it's entertaining now and he doesn't do that much writing now because he gets to pick and choose the stuff so and when you go back to like the episodes I hear what I can't remember I'm not listening but there was specific ones he wrote they were always like the stronger type of episodes are the ones where Sherlock kind of had the more interesting journeys and stuff but yeah going back to the first episode as well because this was kind of the benchmark except in the tone for what we were going to get because this could have been very cartoony could have been very light but how sinister was the bad guy in this one like the taxi the cab driver? The taxi driver looks like my yeah but the remote it was the glasses no you don't actually ever find out his name as well he's just called the cab driver but he's dead by Phil Davis um like he's done loads of different cop shores or he's always like a bad guy he was in things and Luther as well but I'm sure of it um but how sinister and that as I said because that's the introduction we get to the style of kind of criminals we're going to get through this as well it's not going to be the world's bank robbers or the like a bludgeon in someone or beating somebody up yes it was the mind games the clever like trying to work out like the detective work back again that's what Sherlock does what does best is when you when MSL when you're trying to play along with Sherlock to work everything out and this what this episode was so clever I couldn't fathom out I didn't get it until like say the taxi driver was outside picking up Sherlock the question did Sherlock pick the right one up we don't know we never know that was really annoying it could be a princess ride situation where the taxi drivers taking so much of the stuff in the past he's gotten intolerant so either time it was gonna kill me and he would be fine yeah yeah I like unexpected um unexpected people and he was a very unexpected person when he walks up them stairs and you don't see him like the vision is quite blurred but you can see him coming up the stairs to tell him that is taxi is waiting outside I'm not that is some horror shit right there that is quite spooky and terrifying the way he just comes up behind Una stops his character is terrifying and then he's just standing there with his flat cap on on a pausing and that's a thing una pausing not scary at all not scary unexplainable I love that and the conversation between him and Sherlock when they're just looking each other in eye and it's like battle of the minds and again that's where the analogy to chess came in it's like who's gonna move first and this is the first point as well we get Sherlock impressed with Watson because he's kind of dismissive of what's in all the way through he's just like showing off his balls in love with him yes it's a fault in love with him is when he's explaining to the police officer that oh no it's an expert marksman very professional couldn't be anyone honestly to hit that shot it's like a one-million shot and he looks over and he looks at Watson kind of like he's like shit it's like oh okay it starts everything starts coming together and then he smiles at Watson and says all right then uh must have been a good shot and he's like yeah the person who did that must have been quite like professionally he's like yeah yeah and that's where as Emma said the love affair kind of like the love blossomed and it become reciprocal rather in one way question Emma were you part of the fan fiction of the internet who were putting these two together I'm not saying anything about that right I never shipped two men as much as I've shipped them to in my life I always thought that Sherlock was kind of like asexual didn't matter if he was in love with love with the person didn't matter if it was male or female there was no no label on him in that respect I think he respects intelligent or like if you've got something about yourself um oh that's true it's not one of these things where he'll be impressed with like how much money you've got or how what you've got if you've can battle wits with him or cause a distraction or cause him a problem he would probably be like be that the arrogance as well though he's sorry it's not arrogant I think it's not arrogant I think it's gonna be noticed well when Sherlock was born he's the right to what he's horrible he's horrible in that the Christmas set the sword not Christmas set the sword but Christmas time yeah where the all in the rolling house oh molly then molly comes up and he is so mean that's not that he is just being an absolute dickhead in that scene even mean person he doesn't understand social cues he doesn't understand like why people are feeling what feelings you know what I mean it's a it's a what did he say he was arrogant you can't have yeah you can't have a lot of it that just brings you down yeah so the fact that he actually did have a lot of and with these partner in crime I think that was the such a thrill such a thrill it always hints at it though as well as I know the episode after the wedding where it's like Sherlock's got his girlfriend and she's in a mare's and character as well just to say like absolutely a daughter and just his so easy to interact and pretend was terrifying and but seeing John's kind of almost like shock would jealousy at the same time was just the one um well I'm just laughing about the chat cause the busy the chat scene about uh Emma writing Sherlock x-weight fan fiction now so that's not that I was thinking that I just didn't want to see it I do want to watch parts I'm just gonna go back a couple of spaces from in the chat to congratulate Sarah Peach on the best name for Benedict Cumberbatch is Benedict Cumberbatch oh well that has to be and Joel's Buttercup Prinklecutt is probably another favourite of mine I had to point that out very well done but yes um I can't remember now we have like say all the different colors like that one was going back to the woman episode like everything was made to kind of disarm Sherlock and this is where you start question whether um like Sherlock Woodbrick or if we were going to see like that human side of him and you kind of feel sorry from a lot because he is manipulated by literally everyone in this episode like from his brother from Mariani from uh even Jonnetimes and like and especially like Arlene Adler sorry um like everyone's kind of like pulling them in directions and that turn at the end and again the whole idea about Coventry about uh sending a plane with dead people on but I feel like the bomb is going to be successful again it's probably that's probably happened in real life though that's a scary thing um but to see Sherlock then turn it on its head and uh because the whole episode is he's trying to break into her phone and that's her security and she thinks she's got him hook lining simply going to have everything that she's ever wanted she's protected for life and he just types in Sherlock and it opens up and seeing like the flip from him going or being such a fool and getting the flashbacks or it is where he realizes that she's got films from by taking a fucking pulse how funny is him was that though the eyes dilated everything you know how like who thinks of stuff like that like and that goes back to you know he's a detective when he's like a scientist who has heads in the fridge that sort of thing he didn't know what he was doing you know he knew what he was playing heads in the fridge yeah all sorts of the fridge though like say papo mrs hoods and every time she went in the fridge would freak out what what we would say do you think you just get used to it just just show along and i know we could have a little bit of a talk about this at the start um because basically from episode one the name mariachi came up and then we got more mariachi throughout this as well did we get too much mariachi again because he is a shadowy figure i would have liked to be lingering a little bit longer for me again i think it's one of those things where they pushed the board out too early and it's either the they didn't think that we're going to get too many episodes or too many shores and went right we're going to go it's like or could be other thing go big or go type thing i think it was a bit of like mariachi is one of the most amazing villains in english literature since weight was written you know like we knew who he was going to come in we know the crack like so making good and you know i don't want to say you'd get bored of him because i don't think he would be so clever but as i said we got we got more we got more villains and he was still the mastermind behind it he planned this yes he planned that this was going to happen yes and yes i think he'd gone so like he was always still there was always mariachi it was always if anything went when he thought no he's back how was he back yeah he didn't think it was going to be another guy he thought mariachi's back so even though he was gone he was never gone yeah i talked about the like say the guy who played mariachi like um like Andrew scott's performance that that was something i wasn't expecting or i didn't really think was i would have seen because he's always played as a like a prim proper um like i could fit in society and everything i remember he played it it was either it was like skyfall or one of the James Bond's like the dally quick James Bond and he played like i think he was a bar guy but basically i was like as soon as i was like it's more yachty and everything i was like he's gonna come out and show everyone and somebody asked him in the in the um in the film was like so he's like is this guy dangerous i was like it's a little dangerous man you bet i was like what i was like anytime i see him on the telly i'm like no like he's gonna come out it's gonna freeze it's gonna go and feed you miss me he's gonna miss me like he's watch pride he's brit watch pride because it's a complete if you if that's what when you look at Andrew scott and that's what you think watch pride because he is he is the complete polar opposite um he is an absolute sweetheart in that movie um but Andrew scott is phenomenal i i love the tippets through episode one and two where Moriarty's name just comes up and it just becomes kind of like a question mark then a slight bit of interest but then fully fledged into episode three with the reveal of Moriarty i don't get it wrong i loved how they did it that he was very he was under Sherlock's nose straight away yeah um but i would like you very very gauge him yeah he played that very well um but i just i wish they kind of just blushed it out a little bit kind of had a bit more of a build-up yeah because it was so good how they did it that it just felt a bit and i'm not saying it was rushed no just a bit too fast-paced to get to the end part and the end is fantastic especially when he reveals everything walks away like he's gone and then comes like no i'm not finished yet i just wish they made it a bit more lengthy but you're right the might of the might of thought especially with the time like like i mentioned at the beginning Stephen Moffatt was very heavy into um Doctor Who and trying his hardest to be that's- i don't know why Nili was just Doctor Who i'm gonna know Doctor Who to be it not Nili's no- Chad Ignori said that um but no maybe we were thinking i have to get this character out now maybe people might lose interest maybe people might not like the Pearson of it i don't know i put the performance wise it was larger in life it was entertaining as hell like his like like like almost sword fighting with Sherlock all the words and like trying to prove who's smart and who's more clever i love the interaction and again i wouldn't have been sad if we got that season two like at the end like they'd prolonged it a little bit more but um yeah the swim poem say it was absolutely amazing like that and Doctor Watson kind of you almost getting a split second you think at the same what's in his mariachi even though it's not yeah but it's kind of like cleared it down and it's like i'm actually gonna do that but yeah it completely throws you and but yeah i- i- i- he was always the third wheel though he was always the third wheel though he was a good third wheel though oh he surprised me never the bride i feel like that's the thing um but one of the questions i was going to ask and again this goes back to Emmett saying that she liked to work stuff out did you work out how the guy died when the backfire in car initially no of course no one did what he did no for Doctor Dent has given it was actually impossible to be fair but it was just so clever like everyone thinks it's a murder everyone's like going murder and the don't even because normally with these type of things they'll give you enough to try and work out but did they'll give you enough to work out nobody in a million years would have said a boomerang was going to be the one to hit him out because he'd just come back from traveling the world and he was testing out his new thing and of course such a clever idea a backfire in car exploding at the wrong time as he threw the boomerang and so he turned around didn't say that it's killed him by hitting him in the back of the head from the brilliance wouldn't see that coming not you're gonna see the coming you know definitely not um so yes uh like i said we got the end of season two uh not so season one and it was left on the cliffhanger with like they were in the pool and they came back in and says oh maybe it is time to die and this is the first time we got like the two well at the start of season uh the first episode we got the the name of Sherlock was the consulting detective and then we got mariaatie's title the consulting criminal and that idea where he's not actually the one committing the crimes it's where the crew criminals are going to him for ideas and for what to do and i thought yes that's what someone in mariaatie's plays like time in this world would be doing and probably so there is consulting criminals out there just need to get in touch than to get things done i guess there's got to be though there's gotta be like i bet there isn't the north east nor the north east of par not about you know but no it was in this chat you know um no I think it was such a character, you know, in the same sort of sense, he was sort of like Micro, you know, he had everything, he had everything wrapped up, he had the glitzy, he had the glamour, Westwood, everything was just so prim and proper, you know, with that scene I was seeing him, it's with the diamond and the red cord, the crown jewels, and like, you just thought, like, oh the flamboyance, you know, he's like, come and get me, come on, come on, you can't take me, again, the arrogance, that made it so like, oh, like the music used as well, like, all the throughout, like, a lot of the Sherlock, you hear the Sherlock music, but then the other like, soundtracks that used, as I mentioned before, using like, number of the bass at different times, there was a Queen song at certain times, like, the soundtrack was actually really good for a BBC, not saying BBC's bad, not saying that.

Just remember, maybe I have one! But for BBC, like, sure, let's be honest, that sometimes they don't always use the music as well as they can do, and this is one that shows where they kind of didn't over egg it and used it in the right moments, and, but yeah, that's showing off, saying with Jim, breaking into the the crown jewels, so well done and so entertaining to watch as well, and because, again, you think it's been overly clever, or there's a secret trick to it, and I love the explanation when the Sherlock and Moriarty are on the rooftop, and Moriarty is like, no, you want it to be too clever, it's just simple, I've paid everyone off, it's like, there's no secret cord, there's no interesting story behind it, I just, I'm a dick, I paid everyone off, I can do what I want, and how did you get away with murder, of course, it was basically, it got to the jury as well, and that was well done, cleverly done as well, but yeah, it's sometimes, because Sherlock wants everything to be over elaborate and over clever and from the be stimulated, and Moriarty was kind of like, no, it doesn't have to be like that, it can be that this is what humans are like, but he's not human, none of them were human, there was superhuman, yes, but not superpowered human though, that thing was more super intelligent, that was the thing, like every single person, like in this show, had some kind of backstory or some kind of like super intelligence and stuff like that, but as Sami said, when this, when the end of season two happened, we did have a long delay, so we didn't know what was going on, and that's when the fan theory started, everyone was kind of working out, and the most of the people who wrote the show, I made the show, most of realise like, this was going on, and they kind of played on it before when season three did happen, because it's start off, where it's, you're getting like, basically the people that like run by Anderson, which hilarity they do, it's going through all the different fan theories of how Sherlock busy didn't die on that day. But that's what happened in like real life, where, like, the killed Sherlock is the best thing to the sides, bring back leaves and the rioting in the streets, you know, and it was that when you come back, when you come back, this can't be the end, no, it's probably don't be serious at the end, it wasn't the end, you know, and it was real. I remember, I do remember that, I remember us all congregating at my parents house to watch this, to watch how Sherlock comes back to life, and the fact that that episode opens with Anderson's bloody conspiracy theories is some of the funniest shit that's ever been written.

I tell you what I did love though, because I do think this would have been a genuine reaction or genuine performance, is the interaction between Sherlock and Watson, where Sherlock expects Watson to be all like, yes, you're back, I'm so happy. And you bitch, you bitch, how could you do that to me? I grieve for you, I was in love with you, you know, that's all I think. I was ever raised more fan fiction as we go.

I'm going to feel an emusbity, I just feel you're going to stop being that. They're hilarious to that scene as well, because they start off in a really posh restaurant, they get thrown out because John attacks them, then they end up in a little calf, they get thrown out because John attacks them, then they're in a little chitty, and obviously is John headbutt, like, I don't know how they've done the same, because it looks like the most realistic headbutt I've seen in a TV show or a movie, I'm sure there was a connection made at some point there as well. And then you come back to them standing outside and Sherlock's got a bloody nose, a bust lip and it's like, it's almost like he's in shock that he's getting this reaction now, he's calling John a drama queen. And this is our first inter- interaction into Mary as well, who again, just steals the show when she comes on, it kind of lights up, I absolutely adore Mary when she's in this as well.

And her little, like say rep-rept with Sherlock is editing as well. And how she just turns I like him. And you know what that's because that's again a flipping of the script because in the books and in the other situations, Mary always hated Sherlock. Oh, like they never got on because like because she was always seen as like the other woman.

I think she has, yeah, as well too. But she never could share Sherlock with John so she can never get all of that in the stories where in this, they kind of find that little common ground. And I loved her little backstory and how her story kind of ran through just like the episodes as well, how she was like an assassin and how that played out. I don't know how you felt about Mary.

I hated Mary because she was taking John away from Sherlock. But no, I loved her at the same time because like she, we already know she was a great character, like she was going to smash whatever she went in. And she was again, as he said, a strong woman that got shit done and didn't like, she was one of them, you know, she was one of them people that wanted drama. She wanted to have all that and she wasn't ready to give it up.

Even when she was pregnant, you know what I mean? Like she's spoiler there. Sorry. Have you ever seen it now?

Why are you watching us? What's your first thing? Watch us afterwards, will you? Definitely come back for us.

It was fantastic. And again, like the boys and that big like the final scene was her reading after she died, you know, reading like my big street boys. Like she knew when she got in that relationship, although she knew Sherlock wasn't saying like it was alive. But um, do you know it was a it was sort of an open relationship, you know, it was like I've got a date.

I'm with John, but really, I've got a baby sitting there. But that's why when he announces out the wedding to them that she's pregnant and does it the most Sherlock way as possible. And it's like, and again, you think, no, you're such an asshole. Why have you done this?

Well, then he brings it around with a little bit of charms in, well, these are going to be great parents because you've had practice and they're like, look, again, practice. When's good? Yeah, you looked after me. And it's like, oh, you are the biggest baby in the world.

No one's going to ever be a worst pain in the arse than you. We've seen this relationship play out before in television. Big bang theory. It's penny penny blenid.

Maybe some Sheldon, and it was it's it's no different than that. I didn't mind Mary. I just, there's something about her face. And it's the actress herself.

And I knew it was broke Martin Freeman's heart. Right. I was like, I don't think I can like you. I want to like you, because as from a female perspective, you are everything.

But you're also a bitch at the same time. Yeah, but as strong as when she comes in, the strongest episode for Mary, in my opinion, is the wedding. The wedding is when this is one of my favorite episodes of all time. It's comedy gourds when it shouldn't be.

It's again, one of the clever ones where you're trying to work out the hood on it. And there's again, if anyone said the worked out, you're a fucking liar, because it doesn't give you any type of hints or any type of any type of hint you got is where the guy's taken photographs and you think, oh, so that must be the photographer in the wind. No, you didn't get that. So no, I'm sorry.

If anyone says that. But yeah, it's just comedy gourds, like it's hilarity to see Sherlock reacting in an everyday situation, which shouldn't be normal. And he can't do it. And the bridesmaid who attaches herself to him and he's got, oh, I'm just thinking because he's picking everyone apart.

He's gonna go home alone. He's gonna cheat on you. He's not the right guy for you. So it's just basically using Sherlock as a shit guy detector, which is just fun.

But then you get the whole speech and the speech is just so Sherlock thing. And we find out as well that Sherlock gets nerves because he's terrified about giving the speech and the whole like build up to the wedding as well. Like all that is just so comedy. It's just, I've just remembered the best scene of British television ever when it went on the start.

I was so clever. Like of the book getting more old, like him getting a big girl around and everything. It was so clever. And it was like, it was like nine o'clock or something.

Where we got that. I was watching her be wife and that's me. I was like, why is my wife like so bottle of wine? She went, don't we all just like, the family been over to us.

How were they that mall idiots? I was like, the mind not drink. I was getting over the darels. They shouldn't be getting pissed after two hours.

I was like, it's a TV show. But it's not like they're just getting normal points as well. Like Sherlock's is getting exact measurements, like in science speakers and times how long he goes to the toilet. How long was your pace basically?

So I can measure how much alcohol intake you can handle to get you more. But then I think John realized what he was doing. So he started switching the drinks around and then we get drunk Sherlock who was starting fights with Rowdy Chavez in London, which is just hilarious. Trying to solve crime.

He's just like absolutely blotting. Like that's what we should have got more of is sure in real life situations, like at a Christian, at like an I mean, at your granny's bloody whatever. You know what I mean? Like, imagine him, like it would just never be a parent.

It's the hardest thing in the world. We needed more sort of that. Yes. We're not still good, though, because they've said they've not put a full stop to the end of the show.

Also Benedict did say that he would never grow his hair out ever again because he hated having that hair. And I was just like, what was the wrong with his hair? It would be up over. He said he hated the hair.

But the hair was just a hair. I mean, it's not much different to how it normally is. Anyway, it's just a little bit longer. I just found it funny the fact that he had a darels hair and I was like, oh yeah, dark hair to start with.

I don't know. I think it was like the reddish tint that they wanted to get through as well. But yeah, just that not just laughing at the wedding saying, though, because I just had a flashback of him on the phone to the microphone and trying to talk him into the wedding just so that he's got support. And my cross is fucking, well, I don't like people.

I'm not going anywhere. And he's like, you can get a helicopter in. You can still make it. He's like, no, I don't think anyone wants me there.

Yeah, the chat's the chat's put in Sherlock in some some great scenarios here. Sherlock tries to buy a kebab pissed. Michael's still coming up with Benedict Cumberbatch names. Sherlock eats a palm or Sherlock throws a pickle in Burger King.

On the window to say a slide down the side to win. I see who wins. Imagine Sherlock in Nilsborough. Oh, gosh.

There's too many crimes in Nilsborough. No, there's too many things that go wrong in that. You'll be kept busy. That's the damn show.

Yeah, you'll be in the in the boss law. So what man, you'll be fine. Well done, chat. But let's see what's the third season as well.

We get that. We'll see we've went past the Murray Army's stage. We're now in the Magnison. Magnison.

Yeah, it's a miklson, isn't it? Lars Miklson, yes. That's Lars. It is throwing himself.

So terrifying. And as I mean, I've had a discussion. She you thought that this one was a good bad guy then. I thought, um, obviously, then we had, so Murray is out the picture.

So then we had to have something that was, because we couldn't just have a cop and Murray got it. You know what I mean? We couldn't have that. But I think Madison had that, as he said, you know, he's a shark in an aquarium.

He's dead behind the eyes. And that's, that's what really stood out for me that he had all this power again. He was just, he wasn't flamboyant. He wasn't, oh, look at me showing off.

He was like, no, I'm going to use his power in a different way, you know. So I think Magnison was a great, a great bad guy. But yeah, the way he got off was a bit shit. You know, I can't remember how he got off.

Did I, because there is a stage, there is a point in Sherlock where I lost interest. Well, this season, maybe you might have been here. Well, this is the season where, like, Sherlock kind of gets out smarted up at times, because every time he tries to think he's got a magazine in the place, he hasn't quite worked it out. And he hasn't got the full picture, because he thinks he's using like some kind of technology, or his glasses are giving him the information, but it's not, he's just using the mind palace, because I was hinted at all the way through that, like, these intelligent people use mind palaces to store information.

And Magnison had the open mind palace where he had the library and like everything information on everyone. Wasn't it? The thingy vault today, where the vault, where the vault was in his mind? And that was, again, Sherlock getting played by the same person, you know what I mean?

All these enemies are just him in a different format. So I think that was really clever. And it was the first time we've seen Sherlock going into his mind palace, him going into his vaults, you know, we've seen that visualization, you know. So yeah, but this is the time he actually visualised and seeing what I would have liked to go through.

And there was two scenes throughout this, well, two parts throughout this season that made us feel ick to the stomach, the one where Magnison licks the woman's face. Like, and what's a power trip? And stuff, I was like, oh, just made everything crawl like thing, like, I'm not going to even though I try to get everyone, like, good, I'm not going to like a good world, but it doesn't be like that. But yeah, and then, Where's on the other hand?

And then he pisses in Sherlock's fire, like, just, Why? Because he thinks the apartments will look beneath him and Sherlock's been getting back into old habits, shall we say, he's become a druggie again to try and be understeered or not looking as a threat, to try and give Magnison all these different things that he could use against him, but it's just like, almost like smoking mirrors. So he walks in, he thinks he's walking into a drug den and he asks the question, he says that toilets, any of the same as throughout. And he's like, yeah, it's pretty much just a shit toilet.

So he just busy walks over and pisses in the fireplace. I'm playing power trip to try and say, Oh, I'm basically better than Sherlock or I'm like, you're nothing to me and stuff, you're still beneath me. But it was just an interesting choices throughout where you think, Oh, this could go sinister or could go dark. But then when we got the season finale, it was kind of done with kid gloves, if that makes sense, it didn't really have, like, it was kind of like, all done quite neatly wasn't done with like a punch or like a shocking type of moment.

It was just like, how do you take out the big bad with a big brain? You shoot him in the head. Well, that was sort of my clock. Yeah, and he's getting his aura in as well.

Because he, as I said, he doesn't have blood on his hands and he had to protect his brother and all that. And he was in the helicopter going, don't you? You're so excited, bro. I saw it.

But this is the first time we come in, like, almost end game type of thing for Holmes, because we first have the word read be it. Don't even mention that he didn't even give us a word in there. Come on, explain that. So read be it.

Yes. Read be it was the time it was if Sherlock's dog, he was a lovely home and he and this dog disappeared or died or something happened to this dog. But should I could never remember what happened? Big spoiler that Sherlock, read be it was never a dog.

It was his best friend. Yeah, and they always played pirates on the young getting he was called read be it. So that's how we knew it was read be it. And my craft tried to eliminate that from his mind.

But I think that is also here we go again with the ship in here. It's got a bit of jot in there as well. Like it was he's that was his best friend and he needed to protect him and he disappeared where we have that push out of him again that he needed to protect somebody and he didn't really know. And I think that the final episode was like the hardest thing ever because he just wanted everyone to be okay.

You know, you learn that this Sherlock went through this trauma and he didn't even know. Yeah, it was such an interesting interesting way to do it as well because that was the first time I was mentioned. Then when my craft is going through his book, you see read be it wrote in the book with a little square rounded and then you then all the way through the last episode, it's kind of like telling the story of read be it where his sister's going, oh you don't remember me because he blanked his sister of his memory because it was sort of like basically out the three of them, everyone considered my craft as the most intelligent what he's not his sister was the most intelligent all the most dangerous the most deadliest of of them. The horns.
