Right, so we're going live now. Live? Live everyone and welcome to the Nelly of North part test. It's a Nelly of North part test hosted by an older nurse.
I am one of your hosts, sir. And I'm the host Paul. And we are joined by, you might think it is, but not the real Freddy Krueger. Just dressed like a mother moment, but yes, the very lovely Kelly has returned.
Oh! Yes, as soon as we're mentioned, like the horror season was open, we would want to do an episode based on the night night now on Street franchise, talking about all things, Freddy, she got very, very excited to see us. Very excited. Yeah, he was almost too excited.
He's my train guy. Yes. I'm wearing it all. I'll explain why.
Oh, okay. Yes, and Kelly has come with a lot of notes that she's been threatening us with all week. Right, all of those. And then I had to break into a new fucking notebook, which is a big early man.
We've got this. There's nothing. Yes. So we are fully in the spooky season, shall we call it?
Is that the definite title now? Yes, absolutely. Yes. And I know it's that a lot of people has joined us today in the chat, so thank you very much for popping along.
He's been quite talkative already, so we'll be in Keep It Up, something that Freddy always used to say. So yes, so before we start, if Sam wants to get a disclaimer out of the way and do a usual spiel now. Yeah, I'll do the disclaimer. I thought I was going to sneeze.
It's still there. It may actually happen yet. So everything discussed in today's episode is our opinions and our opinions alone. If you want to discuss anything from tonight, so please come and join us in the Facebook where we can have an open discussion.
What we want to have is anyone coming for us? In Thailand, there's our opinions are wrong. We can all agree to disagree and find them. Let's keep it fun, give a kind and keep the toxic behavior out of notism.
Well done. This message was brought to you by the voice who was on the BBC. I was waiting for that. I felt like I was in an hour of painting.
Actually, it's not here. Yes. That was a very dose of tones of Sammy who was on very much on the BBC, given that same disclaimer out. Yeah.
Worldwide. Worldwide on the BBC. That'll be the last time I bring it up. No, it won't be.
That is a complete lie. So yes, so if Sammy has her little things, yeah. Oh yeah. You've not been here for this one have you?
I've been here for this one. Honey, can I have you? I'm fine. So yes, this is some sort of segment that she's called bringing ourselves on.
I'm trying to get a catch on. How are you doing? How are you doing? So won't you watch this week?
Okay. I'm a child to watch. watch Hocus Pocus. It was a bit of a dubious thing and I was like in a while per rental.
So you're not like, you're not like, for a little bit scared of the witches in the hall. Mummy, why is she glowing? If she did. What you fucking love Billy?
Billy is just like, he's made, like he thinks it's amazing. So we ended up watching Hocus Pocus too, today and he was just like, oh man, look at Billy, he's great him and I'm not saying that little. And he absolutely loved the whole like Hoover, Roomba thing, you know, the continuation of, you know, like kind of right and Hoover's into the deep abyss of the night. And we thought that was quite good.
He really liked, really like Mary. I think Mary's favorite. This was Mary's movie. I don't know how watched the Hocus Pocus too as well.
And you could tell she was having the best time of her life in this movie. Yeah, she was living her life. My girl Mary. I watched Hocus Pocus too last night and even though Paul said I should have been doing me homework, but I still watched it.
It was honestly, I had a smile on me face the whole way through, a laugh cried, I just adored it so much. And the key versions of the word, the potential teams you see in now films and I just absolutely love that. I did make a mistake this morning of watching Bond. I was just dawned on my that dinner bother.
It's a positive. And then I try to be best to watch for a friend of mine. I did not go down too well. But yeah, I did also watch Hocus Pocus too yesterday and I was a little bit worried because I'm like, as we did the podcast, I'm a huge fan of Hocus Pocus.
But I enjoyed it. I loved it. The only thing I thought the music scene was a bit forced. But again, that was always going to happen because the way that it had the first one, it was so flawed nicely and it kind of fit perfectly.
This one, you knew it was coming. So it felt a bit like what they're going to sing. It was in the TNN. Betteller is phenomenal on like Wenship, Wenship, Wild, but as I said, it was a Mary film.
The only thing I felt was lagging. And again, this is just probably down to my preference as well. We had a cast, but we needed to talk. It was a moment.
It was a moment. It was a moment. I generally thought it was going to happen as well. And it didn't.
Yes. There was one thing that kind of made us go, huh? It was really much of some accent. That was the choice.
Because I'm thinking to myself, you from, I guess that you're from the New England and you know, you talk to these in a thousand of days. But why are you talking like a cockney? You hadn't got your head around it. Was it everyone fleeing persecution from England?
So it was all like, you know, the religious nub bags who went over to America and colonized and created more of the cockney accent. The kind of like, I thought you might be there now. Apparently, that was it because I'm being like, kind of colonizing for a while as a place. This is my English teacher thing.
It's actually a place where they use to speak pretty much, she explained me in English pretty much until Monday. Hang on, Chad, how is it spoiling anything? The Billy Richardson has a cockney accent. No, no, we're telling them about that I'm speaking cats are spoiling and spoiling quite a bit.
If you haven't watched it by now, no, no, no, don't it. Sorry. Not now. I'm not going to mind.
That makes me already. Sorry. Right. Should we do it?
Should we get into Freddie? Yes. So I'll see if I'm getting the music up, if it works. Guys can tell us when the chat comes up.
So I've got a little bit of the music in the background of players, we're doing it. So we're not here. It's what makes it one great. I'll stick the other guys to one to Freddie's coming for you.
All that's good. Oh, you better lock your door. Bloody hell, Donnie, you are all one tonight. So this, we are all kids of the eighties.
I can say around about the same age. Some of us are a little bit older than others, me. That one. But yes, so we all got the experience of like, not I wouldn't say how big the the Nightmare Nouns right movies were.
I would say that how big Freddie was. That was like the big thing. He was on all the different Martin and things. He was on child's toys, lunchboxes for a child sex offender.
It was quite wrong. Yes, yes. Very wrong. Yeah, it's very problematic when you think about it now.
Really? Can you give us a no? It literally blew up like there wasn't many things that was bigger than Freddie Kruger. Like, especially for us.
And it was during the time where a lot of movies were getting banned and we couldn't see movies very easy. But the Nightmare Nouns were very easy to come by. Like, say, the first one, I think that one was one where I took a little while to be shown on TV. But as soon as it did, all the others quite followed suit on sky movies quite often.
And it used to be on the used to go on a blockbuster and make a horror section. And you still point out that film and walk out the room so you can go and run it over you when you weren't forced to. Or if you like me and Sam, the guy in the white van, you just have a guy in the white van. We had to have a video of man.
Did you all manage to have a doctor? I used to shout to the letterbox, Dan Dan, the video of man. He had these little things of popcorn and rainboard drops and stuff. Did you have, did you have candy floss?
I was having a candy floss machine. I was in a machine, not just batshit. You know what I mean? I was just talking, sure, 50 pence for a fucking kids video.
And it was like a pound for the other ones. And you also made this. My brother and sister always went for the horrors. And that's how I stumbled on Freddie.
My brother and sister were a little bit older than us. My sister was gay as older than us. My brother, 12. So I was like kind of not really part of their posse, you know, because I was far too young.
And one of my earliest horror memories is walking into the living room, pretty much at the precise moment when Tina from Nightman Elementary One is being dragged up the wall and across the ceiling. That is my first ever memory from Free Gruga. And I was just petrified. But my interest was also peaked at the same time.
But it was absolutely awful. And I remember as a kid, like going round to my auntie's house and she was fine about my younger cousin watching all the videos. And I just remember the VHS covers of Dream Warriors and the one number four with all the car wrecks on the front. The vehicle's arse was just so stunning.
And even looking at the pictures of the kills and stuff, I didn't watch them. But it almost was like, I did watch them because I could see those skills. You know? But that's one thing about the Freddie movies as well, like the artwork was always normal.
And that's why I wanted to showcase it. Like, so the people watching online will see all the different courses going next to our beautiful faces as well. Just to show how vibrant and how ahead of the time a lot of the artwork was for the Freddie movies. Because I didn't see the Nightman Elementary because in the right order when I was younger.
Because I used to go in and watch the Freddie's and stuff, all the scary movies. But the first one they showed me was, as I said, was Nightman Elementary Three, the Dream Warriors. That was the first one that I actually got to see. And I didn't actually see the first Nightman Elementary until it was released on Channel 4.
Because they had a big deal that was going to be shown on TV for the first time. So they had a two-movie matinee. So they started off with the Nightman Elementary. I think it was half nine to nine o'clock on Channel 4.
Which again, for Channel 4 was the end of the times. Then afterwards they were shown in the Alien. So they had a big documentary beforehand showing showcasing the two movies and seeing these, like, quite iconic, like, for horror movies. And that was, like, say when I watched the first one.
That's when I kind of got Freddie more. Because the other ones are a little bit slapstick and a little bit jotery. But for me, just the first Nightman Elementary, and I'll just get a picture of the first heroin over it. Because each movie had the final kill.
So we got Nancy. So I'll got an extra little image of Nancy in the telephone there. But that was my introduction to them. Sam, what about you?
What was it like yours? I generally can't remember. It's such an impact, Johnny. I just...
He's always been there. That's how I see it. I can't remember mine, but I do remember. Because I've always said this on the podcast many times.
I have a friend who got the Obscure. She was the one who always had the decent horror films. And she probably was the one who got the watch it. But I remember my sister.
And the 60-year difference between me and Michael? I feel like I can't tell what the rest of it is. And I remember her having to not around this one night. And we were watching Nightmare on Elm Street.
We were watching some Freddy. Whether it was Nightmare on Elm Street. I couldn't tell you, but it was some Freddy. And my sister was there.
And I put some reason my adult brain kicked in at a young age and went, hang on a minute. I had to share a room with this child. Let's take her out of this situation right now. Let's go.
Come on, let's go. I'm not having to be responsible for them nightmares. So yeah, I think he's just been there. I didn't fully appreciate your Freddy until I was maybe in the early 20s.
That's when I probably had more of an appreciation. Because my horror was old. Old school. And then I started to evolve.
I think Scream might have been the earliest part of Slash as far as in all honesty. And then it kind of progressed from there. So probably the early 20s is probably going to start like appreciated. Jason, Michael, that form of horror.
So yeah. Well, that's the thing. Because I think strangely, the other ones you mentioned, like Jason, Freddy and so, them are the more, I know it's hard to say with the Friday 30s. But they are taking more seriously than the Nightmare on Shreets.
Even Jason? Yeah, because as we went along, it become more of a comedy franchise. And like say, you come to York Med, it's been like say, had the piss taken out of it for so many years. But for go back to the first one, the first Nightmare on Street, that one is a pure horror movie when it comes down to it.
It's sadistic and weird and twists things. And even the kills, there's not any. No, no, it's pretty bloody. I think what really sets them.
I mean, obviously, what, with it coming out in the decade of Slashes the A-H-N-O, you've got Halloween, you've got Friday the 13th. What sets Freddy apart was like this dream nightmare trope. Yeah, it was not all of us have been the fucking come, Crystal, Luke, you know, it's more of an American sort of thing. Halloween was a very Americanized sort of holiday, you know, all about the kind of commercial sort of side.
And we've only just kind of stepped onto that now. Hey, speak yourself out of it and don't know what that was. But you know what I mean, but not like, it's more kind of westernized over there, where this is more relatable, because if you think about it, we all fucking have nightmares. We all have dreams and they inject that sort of like kind of, you know, when you always dream about your teeth falling out and you're running through treacle and they incorporate that in the films, like when Nancy's running up the stairs and it becomes like goo.
And she can't kind of get upstairs. And it just, it was little things that we've all sort of experienced in our dreams and nightmares, like it cooperates. So you're thinking, shit man, this could possibly happen. It's such a different way of bringing a scary guy into, into, he's not just, you know, he's not Michael, or he's a piers and just that's what I'm around here.
She's not a Jason who evolves because Jason does all. And he comes directly from your fucking nightmares. And for me, what I think about it today, I was like, he actually is quite, he just stands apart from the rest of them when it comes down to his like origins. And his arc is fucking horrendous, but his origins, like it's really different.
Yeah, I think what makes it kind of, I think it hits the nail in the head as well, like, when it's with the sleep aspect, what I didn't realize when I was young, when you realize when you're older, the lack of sleep will kill you quicker than lack of food, lack of drinking, like anything like that, lack of sleep will take you down whole or quicker than anything else, which is quite an opinion as well, when all these kids are trying to stay awake. And you never quite got it when you're younger, you think, it's easy to stay awake, you're afraid he's not gonna kill you. But then you think about it, it's a state of the project. And nobody really touched on that on the later films, like, say, when they talk about drugs that take.
And like people going into like almost many co-emas and stuff like that because of lack of sleep. But I say the first one as well, it's like Freddy's not a joke in this one as well. Like the elements and the way he attacks is vicious and how he's kind of plays off the other people as well. The only thing, like, I can say, there's a few little elements that's negative on this one.
Like, say, the main final girl Nancy, which is still tongue in Freddy's one in the picture, was the most worst acting I've ever seen in a horror film. He's dialogue, he's... Oh. Yes.
Johnny Daddie's crop top is shit. No, hey. I'm sorry, like, it's just shit. Do you know what me and Anne's watching a few years ago?
And I do remember having like the shit's put up at some point, like, you know, over this film as a kid, but I really watch, I could not stop laughing. Like, it was almost turned into a comedy for us, especially that final scene. I still have a lot of lyrics. It's not actually meant to be funny.
And I think using our eyes of what we've seen, like, other horror films, which are really, like, you know, fucking impacted and shook us and like really kind of put us through turmoil. This, I mean, when was it? It was like, it was 1984. It was 1984.
Why take a dress? Why not just literally? Hand through the glasses, and then yandath through the door. That way we could have completely broke dough from the set.
Of course. Down the road. She was in the room. She was in the room.
She kind of like, folded it up. I don't know. It's not meant to be that. What about...
As I said, with a lot of these films, it's down to budget and choices that were made. I mean, you can't ever fault the fact... I mean, this is Wes Craven here. And this is like, I think he's like, you know, he's sort of like, right?
And he went on to do some incredible horror films. One of which, you know, it was one of my favourites, the people under the stairs. Yeah, myself. Which is amazing.
And one of the girls who is in the fifth film, she's in the people under the stairs, and she's friends with a girl called Alice, and then the main girl in people that says, all sort of Alice, it's like, little, like, sort of cross-alls and stuff. And Wes Craven has just, like, he is just been a daughter in university, like, revered horror director, and this is what, like, forged them in there, you know what I mean? So even though now we look at it with our actual eyes, we think what the fuck is going on at the time, you know? I still think it's that.
I still think it's that. Definitely. I've still got a soft block for the first one. I do think it's a genuine horror film, and there's actual scary parts of it.
Oh, 100%. It's still so funny, bit of a lot. Yeah, oh, no, 100%. But like, a little bit, kind of for a girl, like, it is Chrissy's the blonde mass.
It's Chrissy, or we're going to get a mix up now. You know what I mean? Tina. Tina.
Tina. Christina. Was it, oh, Tina. Yes.
Tina was the blonde bob. Yes. Her death in the first one, like, see when she's getting ragged about when they're saying when she's just watching that again, like, because these are the things where they use a lot of effects and, like, see, especially in the first one, and how they did that, that was just brutal and, like, it's not easy to watch. And seeing a, like, a boyfriend who was, like, the teen bad guy and teen horror film and stuff, like, they've been blimed for it.
And again, his death as well, it is so, like, when, it's like, you see the, the blanket's what's got, like, a pipe around it and going around his neck. And, like, just, like, looking like he's going to hang himself. Even that is, like, it's just uncomfortable and not nice. Like, because you can feel, like, I said, like, attention and everything, how no one's believing them.
And they're getting more and more sleep to thrive. And Nancy's boggers are getting bigger and bigger. I guess that's fucking streaking, I ha. Oh.
Yeah, the streaking I never really got. The streaking I think. I want to know, I want to know how you go about getting one of these naturally. Like, because it's how do you know the guys?
Yeah. How do you know the guys, like, she gets to, like, beautiful streaking through the hair. Like, how does this happen? But also, I have two deaths that you've talked about.
Well, what I find pretty horrible about those is the fact that we know that's happened because of Freddie. But it's so believably not Freddie as well. So the fact that he is actually a murder suspect that could have happened, you know, as a murder death, his hanging could have been himself, you know what I mean. And one thing I don't really get is picking up on Rod's death in the, he wasn't having a nightmare.
He looked fucking peaceful as fuck on the seat in that jail. And then I was like, sort of, there's a little bit where I was picking up on where I was just like, that's more life. But looking at like the film franchise as a whole, it's an idea that Freddie's gained in power. So we can kind of manipulate things in reality because of the power that he's getting from the fear.
Because the people he's, you know, kind of praying on. But yeah, like I say, it's just those those that Taylor's death, especially in her subsequent cameo in a body bag. Yes. It's fucking, fucking awful.
Same, you're made by your drunk mind invisible thoughts. It's got a fucking corridor. Nancy. The people in the trailer for the thing is all because that was that must have been filmed in the school as well.
So they must have to get permission to do that. I don't know how, like, how do I go about this? Like the premise? Also what you're going to film in the school here?
Well, I'm going to get a teenage girl, put in a body bag and drag her through, leave the bloods in. How's that going to go down? I know. I mean, it's not the rules, like the, it reminds me back to kind of screen where you stay to the rules, you know, like don't have sex, it'll get your killed, so Tina will run fucking dead meat straight after they have, you know, you know, had some like, you know, population, you know what I mean?
Yeah. But what I found about weird was the heavy religious sort of iconography. Everyone's got a fucking crucifix on their fucking wall. Yeah, but to be fair, this is America.
Yeah. This is the North East of England. Yeah, it's where we have, instead of crosses, we have minor lumps. Yeah.
It's not fucking crucifix, right? This fucking all crucifix above our fucking kitchen door. I mean, she wants to know people just see it and say, I'm getting out of here because these must be fucking crazy. Happy powers.
You know what I mean? Oh, she's protecting you against Freddie. That's all she was talking about. Exactly.
I don't want to be a kitchen. I got from there the sacrifice. I was like, Jesus, I'm not an everything. It's on me.
Yeah. Well, yes. I mean, that whole good, evil sort of thing. Yeah.
And the rhymes, you know, as I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my sort of key to fight you down before a week. But it's not a big thing. I wonder if it is a kind of like, not just not saying that I'll allow because I remember I shared a room with sister and I did not need to freak her out. But I had a, it's the Freddie song itself, the one, two, for that.
I remember kids on the playground singing it, singing it, uh-huh. And I was like, I guarantee you, I fucking seen it. The job drops on. I mean, that is just like the comment like Fred, then.
And it reminds me back to like, you know, that sort of guys do like urban legends and stuff. And he was an urban legend. And one thing I didn't quite get was why he's back. Because it's, it's, West Craven always kind of like put forward.
This is not about a molester. This is about child murderer. No, no, no, because he won, because I read differently that it was meant to be, whereas Craven wanted it to be a child and that's what the studio said, the studio would say, the murderer, because child, molester doesn't play a wealth in audiences or child killers. Yes.
That's what we could get away with. That's what we could accept. Yeah. I get it.
Yeah. So I don't want to say it like you killed like 20 kids. And the parents like killed him. But then you've got their kids or did Nancy have a sibling that was killed by him.
Yeah. It almost was like a M. Mine. Monster kind of scenario was no other pitchforks than that.
I do love the explanation you get a bit later on. Because I've seen the beginning of Nightmare on Elm Street about several million times today thanks to a certain service that I was trying to find. I'm falling on. Honestly, I'm not the most patient person, you know.
And it kept coming up the beginning of that. And it was just showing you a tiny little box showing you and walking up to do these what you call it, these knives. But I can't remember if you got an explanation as to why. In the first one, I was going to wait for that.
In the first one, it just basically says Fred Krueger was a child killer. That's when he's just not known a drunk mum. And so trying to get a dad to see look after him and say, and Krueger's dead. We killed him, we talked him.
He got off with a technicality. That was the whole premise of it. We never find out what that was. Yeah.
Someone basically had some evidence or something like that. So someone didn't have the right warrant to search, just on some kind of bullshit reason. Yes. Yes.
And then they're all in sort of justice. Yeah. But one back to what Kelly said earlier about the killings being almost like, for him and the kids or me to look like suicide, we come to probably one of the more famous deaths in the Furry franchise, where where do you go with this one? How do you prove that he killed himself by sucking himself in the own bed?
And then having blood dripping off the ceiling. So I'm going to jump on this twine now, right? Right. Well, before we do, I'm going to show the video, so you can talk about it as it's going on.
So that's clear as well. So we're not here. But the chat will. But yeah, they often they have some knowledge.
They're the theory of Kelly. Right. I think that's fucking shit, right? Oh my god, I was expecting that.
You can't actually explain it away. And how the fuck can you explain it to someone getting sucked into a fucking bed? And then the blood being pushed. And the thing is, the way they filmed it, the film's upside down.
You can see the blood. And it's on the ceiling. I'm thinking, you don't have a fucking gravity. It's all just collected on the ceiling.
And I'm like, that just doesn't make sense. And he's now's a fucking look. And it's just blood going to the side. Because obviously the fucking makeshift room, that's probably on fucking like, you know, wheels.
You know, and apparently that was really fucking dangerous because a lot of the blood, because it was like a lot of blood mixed in. And the hard light loads of, obviously, you know, fucking electrical things. It was called a self-sucking. So that was where you get massive.
I just think it's a really fucking gosh, Jeff. I've got to explain it away. I've got an answer for you. It's all movie magic.
It's all movie magic. It's all movie magic. It's all movie magic. You just don't need to ask.
It's the answer for everything. Yeah, I've got to add this argument to the whole purpose and show this one. The movie magic. It doesn't make sense.
It's no magic. I don't need to ask. Yeah. Me and you, for gravity man, are like dust.
But the only thing that I've got to get the blood. The only thing that bothered me as well is when Johnny Jack got pulled under the bed, like the TV and like the stereo got pulled in with him. That was the fucking hurt. It was the fucking hurt.
And we landed on him. We're not talking about like small TVs like back in the diff. No, there's like the people with a big back on them. Yeah, we needed about three people to busy, to busy pick up this thing.
There was a strong and teenage Johnny, definitely first, teenage world with his half and top and as well. What the fuck was they with the half tops? I've never got these. I just don't get up at good.
Well, it's just probably this is my comment of the night. So last week, Paul was bringing up health and safety violations in Disney movies. Kelly is now banging on about physics and Freddie movies. That is my favorite moment ever.
We have. The blood should have been falling from the ceiling like rain. Oh, that's so funny. Instead of purple rain, it should be blood rain.
It's upside down. It's like, what the fuck? Oh, yes. But let's see.
Our heroine of the day and Nancy. I'll go up and trip again. She defeats Freddie by taking away his power by turning the bat on him. After she does a fucking horror, a whore, a whore, a whore, a whore on his ass brings him out.
And who deserves the lamp bulbs and fucking... I have a really fucking pie, and then the people explode and bloody light bulbs and shit. It's like, whack. And then when he was saying fire, then we were going to set him some fire.
Then all of a sudden Freddie coronavode 17 is the one because he looked quite like a half hour when he was setting on fire because he's masked and grooved and that big because they put the fire retardant and stuff before him. So that had the values was stuck on. And then his costume on the top of it. I need to write.
So that was absolute hilarious. Well, yes. So then we got the ending that we talked about where that we've talked about where Nancy takes away his power and it's like oh yes it's all up to three minutes I go where the kills he's marked with the mark this is fucking ridiculous she's pissed in her bed after all I'm vodka right and then you see like so just how you're going to follow them fire fire man doing that and then you just put the fucking sheet on her you know to get the fucking flamethall and then you just see the skeleton going into the depths of the bed world with a fucking hand doing this like something out of the fucking ghost train and it's just like she died in her sleep I was like fucking death and then it just goes to Nancy goes are you okay I'll leave in this room as I think it off this is the first one and Kelly's already kicking off yes so it ends well it's hilarious car isn't it hilarious how Americans deal with grief in movies it's absolutely hilarious your mom who was trying to get us without a divorce now I know she's a chronic alcoholic but I've just seen her like you know be sucked into the depths of hell via a bed you know I fucking skeleton still alive you still had a fucking nighting grab a fucking vodka bottle given it that I'm hurt y'all right and I'll say is I'll be there in a minute yeah so then so then the car the car suddenly comes Freddy as well so the car drives off that car is fucking mental that car is meant yeah but then we don't really get like a full ending because we don't know what happened and we move on to what is part two no I think part this one gets a lot of hits I think when you talk about this one but the thing is all we it does change it about quite a lot because with every single Freddie movie all the all the final people are female this one the ginger we get a final meal and it's all and there is so many undertones about sexuality and being like out the closet or being gave and I said the cause of all post-it identity of post-it the second Freddie and but yeah this one had a lot of choices we had our main guy that was Jesse in this one and I've got his picture next to him with his rock and cool shirt fancy fancy lady that was always like one of my favorites like of the franchise looks wise but that's because I got soft back for redheads well I thought I generally thought I watched two a few weeks ago I did not I watched three so when I was very confused today when I was looking through the list of what I needed to watch I have not seen two I thought I had seen it and it was little I was in the car and I thought it was like isn't that the one with their prime time and shit he's like no no no no no I was like oh okay I've not seen two then so Freddie was all about domestic abuse from parents because his parents are often horrible and his teacher goes to an SMS S&M club and he likes it likes the Polish young boys and again there's a lot of top-down action whether the top's off and sweating and like the might as well have just had a volleyball session in there but it was all there and that biddies hair there was a lot of these hair in this and like all the girls had like the big weeks and stuff like that I wanted to be with all the boys shall we see it and but yeah like this one was weird because it's not free killing people he's possessing Jesse good sort of like a weird of kind of getting back into spring was as it were because you've got the movement of this house and they end up moving in the Nancy's old house and what I thought was quite key was always associate Freddie with the boiler room but now this is when the house becomes the image and Freddie's home as it were whereas it was just the place where we like tortured Nancy so that's a little bit of a thing that kind of thing anyway it always incorporates Nancy's house to have a boiler room I've just gone to be smally boiler room like downstairs but you've got certain things that happen and so the house is always really hot there's something wrong with like the heating and he also finds Nancy's diary yeah and it's almost these things that kind of ignite part of the pun ignite this kind of memory that he doesn't even have of this man who then becomes part of these dreams but he doesn't have the power to attack people in their dreams because don't remember him or the don't know him remember that urban legend but that's it and it's not taken seriously so it uses this Jesse person to gain power through the kills who a fucker you know what I mean like a lot of the vessel for Fred the only thing that remember this one is like the bird the killer bird in this one where the bird was the budgie that budgie guns but sir the budgie the budgie burns too hot when I get too hot I take you know what people get hungry but yeah you don't spontaneous combust you don't explore yeah me saying me hungry which Paul has on many occasions and I am an awful person and I probably will just blow up yeah see I might like to like if I'm too hot like if I've left me stocks all my life having a night like fuck yeah yeah me too I go I go on ridiculous like ask I'm a hysterical when I'm hot but they're the birds are asleep they've got the fucking bird how much I don't know what I'm going to eat oh my geez yeah and you think he was going on with the birds and then the bird gets out cloned it down the fucking face gone for the little bird then I'm just fucking fuck fuck my bird fuck this one's always interesting as well because it's not because when Freddy comes about he's not we're into people to fall asleep in this one he's just because I can see it's possess and Jesse and I see trying to get power so when he's coming out he's kind of de-skidding Jesse as well so he's like the same way I'm from he comes out of like Jesse's like cause comes out the hand and you see Jesse's thing yes they'll offer them stuff like that and I say there's again not very many deaths in this one there's one when he kills his German structure which is basically very SMM board bondage in the showers yes and then he kills his sword with best me and so he's like this jock who just wants to fuck everything and he gets to see like can I say in your room I just want to say I'm gonna be safe he's just like fuck off man and then he kills him because that's the time you say he's pretty coming out but then he goes after like Jesse's party and they talk about this pool party race by gone I brought on the right right fighting dance at a pool party uses Jesse to enter reality because I just said earlier it was like the sleep thing that kind of gave him the power but now it's obviously he's getting power from Jesse being asleep and possessing him and doing the curls and now he's like hey I'm going to this pool party and it's just like red headed last and he's like a hotspot and it's just it's all fucking middle-class America we've got fucking poo and every once in a kid party he's on the phone cassette and just and he just guns and just the blue stuff bubbling like a fucking slop you go oh I've seen that's all the fences become like electrified and stuff like that yeah I'm just thinking how are you gonna explain that I want tomorrow oh great party you know I'm fucking died and I'm afraid he keeps on and Freddy keeps on disappearing and breathing yeah so people like what the fuck's this guy what kind of trucks he's gone and he walks into the water first in the flames when he went the last is good I love you Jesse and all that shit and he tried to get very well he's not in all with her he's tongues are like I've got a lot of girls excited I don't know but he's got Freddy's tung pet he thinks he's got a killer you know I'm ready doing it save you she believes that there's not many losses out there that's only met him like two weeks ago and now I believe that he's been possessed by an undead sex offender yeah I'm just talking about the best thing about Freddy too I'm gonna show the picture now well course do when Freddy when she's going to come down Freddy because she's basically in the boiler rooms and we get the foot from rock wireless with wearing just plastic masks oh this is the dogs is this what he's been talking about okay I put a picture up now it is probably one of the most horrific things you'll ever see that's the mask that he is for the dogs dogs yeah there are two dogs got in the door it's like Freddy dogs and basically children's yes it's on the mask where the dogs weren't comfortable wearing them so they were looking down so you never really saw the fear so it's kind of like this glimpse you like what the fuck that's the Freddy dog it's fucking shit and then when she said the boiler plays it was like walking around his body and they're just like Kelly what fucking people you think of watching here and there's like a bad type this is is it's if anyone's saying that like a bad taxidermy oh my god yes it can be described as a bad taxidermy cat so she sees a little bit she's like she's like Rodin for some reason she was freaked out by your right earlle anyway yeah there's a little mouse coming along and then this fucking bad taxidermy cat I'm like I haven't taught the game check your vibes off our picture mind I generally thought it was like a chucky doll like just burn up Kelly the chat are demanding for a deep versus Kelly and then another call on your for it now calling you Kelly crew so then we get the because hell Freddy gets to figure this time is when the girl I can't remember any of them now sorry it was a bad movie I love it it is I've written it down fucking Lisa Lisa yes she busy says Jesse I love I know you're in there and that's all the Freddy don't you kiss us fairly and then Freddy sets fight to the boiler house anything oh no I guess it's gonna be dead and then we have like a course was just two moments of course was one woman sorry when the turntog's break I'm gonna start breaking up with all the Freddy shell and he's sitting there fucking Freddy she doesn't break out the friend and then that's the ending it's basically them two hooking together going it's gonna be okay it's gonna be okay oh that's not the ending they're on the school bus and he's freaking out because the initial bit the intro is his nightmare on a bus and it's ridiculous fucking ridiculous but we'll just leave that because it's watching you'll understand and so yeah it's just like the mates like oh it's a great party like oh something there's just a blood can't still wear it just like that it always always try a film I have I have been thinking about this very very hard to do it about how shit and how shit that the people are in horror movies because they don't they don't they don't win they always think they do but they never win because they always come back always and I'm thinking how shit it's really has I've been a question that is like ran through my head all day to do how these and how these like heroes of a movie not really heroic because they never win that's that that that's been pondering my little brain all day we see that is if they win magic well let's get to the to my personal favorite of the franchise so you hear the trap before we saw yes so nightmare now three dream warriors is when Freddie became fun it became like a new one it was and it's not using the dream aspect more because yeah like one and two when you think about a movie that's based in your dreams and nightmares it's very based on real life and there's not really anything fantasy or anything that this one takes the fancy to it and the premise again it's called pretty good cast this one when you look at the cast because if the me and one like Kristen was a pretty sure our cat yep absolutely fantastic Lawrence Fishburn was in this is like a little bit of a cameo he's still has a good role in it is a library I mean all it's very same they've got Larry not Lawrence so everybody was just like you know just starting out oh yeah is he Larry invoising the hood as well yeah yeah now we've now he's taken seriously and we do get the return of Nancy in this one so we thought Nancy had died we don't know what happened between mixing I'm gonna trade one and three white where Nancy Bing but now she's working as a psychologist on these new hypnodrugs which will come to in the later movies and the dream suppressant that's just trying to force under the kids but some of the best lines in this movie as well some of the best like aspects but this is as I said this is when Freddie decided I'm going to go into fantasy world and stuff and these kids that's actually maybe trouble teens are they what do you customers are well teens and they're supposed to be the last of the Elm Street children it doesn't really delve into how or why the last ones because you've got Kirsten she's a character her mother doesn't think and all who Freddie is she's very sort of like you know but you've got the interesting sort of best in whatever of them which is our cat like Nick in the Elm Street house the house that she's seen in her dreams and she's eating spoons of Maxwell house and I brought a Kenco D car I've made it yes but yeah so it's just not like and the way in which kind of like Freddie gets sort of like involved with the all-star dreaming about him and it's all the same guy I'm from talking and the kids and the it's almost like a it's a calm wisdom hills like kind of yes and all dreaming about like the same guy in the realized they are and the nurse that's there it's just like no the dreams are about sexual tensions all childhood trauma and love you can't be doing that whereas the guy the doctor guy he believes like Nancy and where she's coming from what she's doing because she's like that's just seen it before she's being there you know what I mean so she comes along to Nancy comes along trying like okay so these kids out accidentally put one of them at a foot corner like what you know I would show it when some you know so to be found out that I was always told he should never have wanted off with a blonde that's a fucking sex pants but yes well with this one as well because it wasn't it was a christen is a good she the one I can pull them into the dreams as well yes she's got a gift she's got something she's the gift away she can bring them into the dreams so then we can share the powers and stuff and that's why they start bringing in like to the power aspect like you got the little guy who was like I'm the wizard in my dreams and oh my god you're the wizard guy you got kinky it was like the strongest man in the world it was just a chance I am it was it you've got tarrying tiren and it was good I'm sorry I'm beautiful and bad and just got the best mohawk you've ever seen oh oh oh oh then kersten becomes a gymnast as well she starts doing all these flips and and shit and stuff that's good what's I gonna do with fucking Freddy yes we remember the dream I do with Kirby well I have seen flexion and again we do get some of the best aspects in this film as well and I'm gonna play a video on I'm gonna talk about what I've been as one of the best deaths in the Freddy franchise as well it's the public one oh sorry this one just creeps me the fuck out all we're through when you're watching it just like say how silly it starts off with because he's like this guy who makes these puppets out of paper mashy because they don't give him a knife because they don't trust him and one of the people mashy puppets who kind of looks a bit freddyish suddenly turns into like a little Freddy and he cuts the wires and and sets like going all panobio and shit and but then we see the most horrific it still makes us get used to being out to use like your beans all my strings and we see the tension and you're like the polo nerd but it's just like it's just uncomfortable and that's the best way I can describe it as you walk through but it's going back to like the first Freddy film where it's gonna look like suicide he's sleeping on it yeah but hopefully not like this but it's a thing that comes out not just these hands but it's a thing as well it's a song and I'm watching it back now and it's just nameless feels like I'm trying not look at the screen as much but see this one I didn't this one didn't bother it's the it's the it's the Neil one that was an upset oh but it's like the smile like he's looking at like they're in a secure facility as well so again secure my arse thing and everyone's kind of like just at the window as well swim down to know wake up wake up I'm dying it's like walking past a nurse in the nurses and realize and stuff I know this was time before like scoot but then he just walks through a locked door yeah so that's it and there's there's food joy you can't speak he just like he's like he's the most useless person ever but then in number four he can talk no problem because he was supposed to be his power in three days you can talk in stream but in four hundred you can talk like normal so we just see that we walk so you can see the string thing in the back of each in the back of these pants looks like he's shit himself watch as you can see the string back in the back but I can say to me it's one the more memorable ones yeah I was definitely and as I said like this one as well because I always talk about like it this is probably had the most e-ities soundtrack ever when I say when you're watching back and thing but here the whole gang's there standing at the window of screaming and saying don't stop and he's just busy doing his like because I think they made a comment they're on saying oh you sleep walk off the building it's like well how did you sleep walk when he was at his eyes open how was he asleep but yeah that was one of my favorite deaths in in the franchise oh there the all are no pressure our cat's face has not changed has it no beautiful she can't say it's so absolutely but I find quite good about like this is my worries and you start to see the origin story being set up here you get a lot no sight into you like yeah so this is one the one they're the one hundred maniacs isn't it yeah childhood and then we're being locked in for a weekend and the patients kept away and finally found her she was pregnant with a bastard child of a hundred maniacs And you get this course thing, yeah, and she was like advising this, like the doctor dude about like how to try and beat Freddie and stuff, but her advice was fucking shit. And it was like, Barry, I've been consecrated for all.
It was just like, the do is, what happens? You've gone back out of the car, beat? Yeah, it doesn't shit. And not for work at all.
You come up really silly ideas. Yeah, it was a big, big, oldie. It says, what's it? Sister Mary Helena, that was a day in Tegan when she should not turn to the cloth.
Unquiet spirits must be laid to rest. But at least it was, then we found out how the bottom of the body and how the one, the boy for killing Freddie, that had it hidden away. In the car boots. In the car boots, in the car boots.
Yeah, Nancy's that, we've heard of Nancy's dad as well. He's not hitting the bottle. Yeah, he's not hitting the bottle. So we'll find out that his mother disappeared and never recovered after that bed scene.
So I think that did happen kind of day, but Nancy found out okay. The most traumatic experience of her life and she still manages to get up and go to work. She is, she is, you know, she's a hero. But it's one of those.
Well, this one. That's right. She does, doesn't she? It is.
Yeah. Let's see. The final goes. Don't really last long in these type of movies as well.
When the comment of the second films are the next film, we get killed off pretty quickly. Yeah. It's like you got it once. You can do it again.
But with this one as well, because they have to go through the realms of Freddie as well. As you said, we do get all the memorable deaths in this one. When the wizard's fighting for you, sitting in the wall, he's magic powers and freight is called. I don't believe in fairy tales and stabs them.
And then we get the drug one where again, it is a point. That's the swingers on the injection. It's not that important. It's the mark.
The marks on the walls and the. I'm trying not to make it too clip heavy, but this is the last clip I've got. I'm on the shorts. The best line in any film ever.
It's one of the greatest death scenes as well. It's a lot of sago, the boring as well as a little cameo on TV. I love the rest of the rest of the rest. It was plus.
Well, yes. When just basically try to be a TV star, this young kid, and the TV goes funny, even though things are going crazy, she goes up to the TV and starts like saying what's going on. I would be in the room like a chef, but that's just me. And not an hour of a home.
I'd probably wouldn't survive that long. But I think I would survive longer than this bitch. And I think this started the whole thing with Freddie, The Little Bitches as well, didn't it? Yes.
Yeah. I'm a bitch. Probably not the first time, but this is where it become big. It's more memorable.
It's actually more of a kind of... It proffin is... Yeah, your embersigns is on the bitch. You're a brag-tag bitch.
It's just fucking funny though. It's really funny. It's just like you want to be on stage. It's the dibly is the reaction to us scream.
Like she hasn't even screamed because his arms have come out the telly. It's... There we go! It's like...
It's like... How does someone do that? Like because it's meant to look like a suicide. How the fuck did she jump up in the air?
Like a fucking pause. Like a fucking eat through with blue bucks. She was determined to get hit. Oh, yeah, I'm joking.
Oh, yes. He's fucking terrible. Terrible. That's...
I think the premise is that the idea with all the freys is so well. And I think that's why it always stands as time in the internet, really in front of me, right now, with the Blume House itself. Oh, he's gone. Sorry?
It's his stream unavailable. Oh, still there? Oh, yeah, still going. Are we still there?
Ah, okay. Okay. No? Can I expect Freddie to pop up in the little box as well?
People are saying, oh no. Oh, what? Oh, my brain taking it down because of the clips. Oh, my God.
Can you still hear us? No, two seconds. All right, two seconds. Quick, quick, quick.
Violations? Oh, my God. Two seconds. I'll start again.
The fucking bed. I would get messages on there. Do, do, do, do, do. Where are you?
I'll just put in the chat two minutes. Just play a break. No, violations. Yeah, so I can't do clips too often.
So we should be back. Lesson learned. Lesson learned. Two seconds.
Let's have a seat. It's not funny. It's not funny. It's not funny.
It's not funny. It's it's it's it's it. I'm just going to put myself on mute a second. Cool.
The, the mother fucking chat as well. I've been talking about this person for the last 10 minutes. Are you talking about? No.
Two seconds. We might be back up soon. So. Yeah.
They've been trying to make us laugh by talking about pissing and me pissing me self and the fact that I'm not wearing trousers. Cheeky bastards. Oh, we're there. We're there.
So to see. Yeah, we're back. I can see us. Can you because it's not sure I'm mine.
Yeah, look. Right. Sorry guys. Yeah.
Hello. What was the lesson learned to do Paul? Can't put too many clips. Yes, you are cheeky.
I don't know if that's actually going to go as well. If it is, it's one time. You do like a three strike policy thing. I wouldn't worry about it.
Yes. So let's. Right. We are at the end of three.
Yes. Yes. So it must be the prime time beach. It must be a copyright.
So yes, so Freddie Krueger coming. We got a step out of my pocket. So. Yes.
So now we're moving on to what I like to call the ship show of the Freddie Krueger universe. And number four, number five. Well, my fault them is one movie because it is pretty much just a longer longer one movie than. Can I ask a quick question before I totally forget to which ones of one with the wrap in?
When does Freddie wrap? I've been waiting for Freddie to wrap and I've not yet found this. Was that not on the series? Yeah, it was a series.
That half he had a series. And is that where he wrapped? Yeah. He doesn't wrap in any of the films.
Okay. There's a wrap at the end of one of films, but it's not him. It's not kind of snipped into what you say. But in the TV, had like a TV show and they spin off.
Oh, right. Okay. Okay. Well, I mean, I think I just look at me dick sort of dude up.
Freddie Krueger's secret wrap career. Okay. Moving on. Yeah.
Dreammaster is a what's that? What's that? What's a 90? Because we're pretty much every year.
There's a Freddie film. The Patricia R. Character. The Patricia R.
Character. No, I'm not saying that again. Yeah. Yes.
Yes. Oh, the three castor. Yeah. Was that same?
Was that same? She on the right and the beginning with like a blue powder top and matching bottoms. Yes. Long shiny hair.
She's like, remember, only got to see 20 minutes of it to do. A giant concade in this one as well. Yes. Yes.
I saw that last one. Yeah. And all those three characters die. Within the first half hour.
I got one death. Yeah. Which is a bit sad because I really love the Christian character. She, you know, and she really felt flat in this one.
She didn't have that sort of like fight that she had previous, but you kind of accept it because it's not the character from the last one. She was like, Oh, okay. So pretty much the first three next and the first half hours, the people from the original. But now you've got this new protagonist, which is the sister of Christmas boy from Alice, which is a bit of a fucking weird all like, how's these like day and dreams and stuff of like things that happen?
Sure mirror coming fucking pictures. So she kind of see ourselves. And there's this thing what she does every time. So I die.
She takes a fucking picture off the thing and you can see yourself. And that's what she becomes. Alice. The worst thing about it.
It is ridiculous. It's like when like the British are fairs carried out. And then she's like, Oh, I know. There's a Chrissy.
Kristin Kristin Kristin Kristin. Basically when she dies, she gives Alice her powers. Yes. You can have five hours and this is where Freddy's then really sure often she'll be collecting the souls now as well.
I saw this. And the people in this is so like embarrassingly bad as well. The sort of others are just so clear. Like Alice's brother is like a comfy wannabe.
