This week's episode is our, we're going to just, we're going to be on the Facebook group so I might as well just be in a straight way. So our top five, you picked it. Top five comic book films not included in the Marvel Universe, the MCU, that was basically back with Iron Man and would have been up to date with Black Widow if it's not released. Honestly, we used to have a ring in that.
I do it just a while. It's taken to the heart every time. Hopefully, like, in a few weeks, we can actually talk about actually seeing the film. So that's always a good thing.
I know that would be fun. Black Widow review. Boom. It's going to be about our streamers.
I'm going to have a party going on. Yes. And see, I'm actually looking forward to going to the pictures next week as well. So, next time I'm going on next Friday, I'm not going to say it'll be an awful film, then you saw it.

We've reached over 1,000 members, and it's still growing, which I never thought in a million years would even get close to that number. So, it's meant a lot to us this week.

It's been, I was checking me Instagram earlier today to see when this all started, and it was beginning January. That's when you put out a herb and then it started kicking off in about February, and we're about now in May. Yeah, it's still going. So, people are not sticking with it, so that's always a good sign.
I know, we can't thank you, it's unreal. When I saw the number chain, I was like, oh my gosh. It's bringing everyone together as well. There's a lot of people from different types of backgrounds as well, joining the phone, which is strange, but no, I never thought we'd get to the stage.
I thought it would be just me and me saying this film, this film's turning into a little bit more than that, which is always a bit special. It's just evolved into something that's amazing and fun and I think something that's been lacking for a long time in the North East and that actually, lovely brings me into a new segment that I want to do on the show. Each week, I would just want to promote nerdy businesses and sellers, you know, any empty sellers, eBay sellers, anyone like that from the North East and if it picks up, I want to, you know, across the UK, what I just think is a nerd myself buying wares, whether it be clothes, figures, anything associated with what I love. It's hard.
It's really hard. You've got to either, you've got to go to eBay for the obscure or like websites that cost like fortune or an America, you know, and shipping and customs like that. So I think it's nice that I just want to promote what we have, so people know. And each week I'm just going to do a business and then, you know, in a few moments there's stuff from one, I'm happy to do that.
So I'm going to start just the first week with geek, I'm not going to say this right, geek retreat, Sunderland, on John Street in Sunderland. It's a really new business. It only opened up within the last few weeks. I don't think it's opened a month ago, I believe, but like we were able to open the doors when the lockdown restrictions were lifted.
So I popped in myself when I first opened, it's a huge space. That's the first thing I know, all this building stuff in there. Like being the one in Newcastle where they've got a lot of game and card game and make Portland stuff might not be for me, but they do have like things like front wall pops and comics as well. So that's one thing that I think summons lacked for a long time.
There's actually by comics, which last time I was able to buy comics in Sunderland was when we had W.A. Smith. Oh, wow. Well, my husband can remember a very small shop in Sunderland next to the Sunderland Empire that used to be a comic book shop because his dad used to take them there all the time and got into comics when he was about seven, eight year old after he became a American and I think he got his first issue of X-Men.
And his dad used to take them down to one in Sunderland and the East is once that closed down, he had nowhere, nowhere local. It's just nothing here in Sunderland or there wasn't sorry in here in Sunderland until very recently that would even cater for us nerds. I haven't been down and it isn't simply just because work for commitments or I would have been down in a heartbeat. I actually have their statements, that's from their Facebook page.
It says, we run a mission to share our love for all things geeky from games and superhero movies to animate and sci-fi. Keep a treat as a friend of those places to meet, eat, trade and game. Vyron venues, comfort eat, non-stop sunny service and shakes. And I have seen some of the pictures online and it just looks like a lot of fun.
I'm devastated I will be able to try them milkshakes. I'm very fond of a milkshake but I am vegan, so short my country. You don't know that my kid is like vegan side, I don't know if he says something about getting into a little bit. Okay, so I'll play a nice little bit.

So we're ready. We're ready. Yes. I'm starting because I say there's no news this week because football has happened before nicely.
Nothing I've read about. I know, say I don't know if you've heard anything but not a thing. So I'm just ready to dive into this because I think it's going to be a really good discussion because it's it was hard once you made this hard. I think with us now, we are not just thinking about like, we're thinking about all the elements into consideration, we're thinking about what each other would like.
That's right. I mean so much to you as well. So I think you're going to make a lot more difficult going forward. Oh, believe me, I have one set up next week and I don't think you're going to like it.
So just warning you, but this week is top five comic movies that are not in the MCU. I'm actually doing what is much less than it's hard. Yeah, it was. But if you asked us on the spot, what my top five Marvel films were, I find that hard too.
Yeah. I thought that as well. I say when you think about the MCU as well, when I'm thought about the top five, not many of them. So strange, not many of them.
So you would probably make well, it would be easier to pick from the top five MCU than it would be the others, like things like all Ragnarok, Guardians of the Galaxy. And you know, it's not great. It's not the original Iron Man because it's a set of I love the original Iron Man as well. Like, one of the ones that's the stick out just off the top.
Iron Man is definitely in my top. The next sloths, I would really have to think about it, but Iron Man is a definite, not just because it's not at all. It's just a really good origin story and Marvel have taken that recipe of how good it was and put it in other ones that kind of work. Iron Man, a very similar in their storytelling, but it works.
Yeah. Well, there's always been this sort of Marvel as well. I think Captain America was a vengeful as well. Had a great origin story, but after that was terrible.
I think the origin was great, but other than that, it felt flat. It didn't, it still didn't feel like you had any real enemies that would go into war by himself and take on an army without, it just didn't feel like the war was going to be much threat or with the film. Anyway, that's another. We're going to have to agree to disagree with one more, but that is a completely different list.
Let's start. Do you want to kick it off because this was your pick? Yes. So, I think of which one to go with first.
I'll go with this one because even though it is a Marvel film, it's not part of MCU. It's one that I watched. It did affect it emotionally and like say, I did actually say I cried at this film and it was Logan. Oh, wow.
Yeah. Because I love the X-Men films, I love the comics, I love the cartoons. I'd say one of your favorite comics was Old Man, Logan. And this was a retelling of the story and seeing the pain and the suffering in this film.
Wow. It makes it those parts that have just broke you and especially makes the character at the end, Swallow Alert only dies. Because you never thought you would ever say Wolverine die and I don't know he has died in the comics and stuff. I have the same go the way he did.
Is he still not dead? I've sure he died a couple of years ago and I don't think I could be wrong. I'm only just getting back into Marvel titles at the minute. I think they brought back about three or four years ago.
Because I know they did all the different from Wolverine or something like that. Right. Because they did all new all different Marvel and X-Men. The bro out X-Men 3, Laura Finney is the new Wolverine with the yellow.
She looked fantastic. Run was really well received but after all new all different Marvel I kind of dropped off a bit. It was getting to the point where it was just a new thing. A new team on its week.
Yeah, Lexie I think Lee and Sean went to food and planned it last week and had a look at the comics and stuff and there was about four different versions of Spider Man on the shelves as well. It's hard. It's really hard. I really enjoyed Logan and I didn't put it on the list because I didn't do, I haven't done any Marvel films, anything to do with Marvel, but all my logan was the first comic book I ever read.
And I'd have problems with the film. Right, yeah, because you were a big fan of it, because I take liberties and stuff like that. It's not that they just took it. What really got us, which shocks us more than anything, is the swearing?
Right, okay. So I'm fine. I'm fine with it being already and I'm fine with swearing. And swearing to me is not an issue.
It never has been since I've been grown up. If it fits within the context of you, have you taught me? And I don't want to say you've been a mass problem. What I don't like is Professor Rex.
Right. Swearn's been absolutely not reason that F bombs that he used didn't need to be in there. And it doesn't work with him. And now I get it that it's a withered Professor X.
How is it? It's just over here. It's gone down a tortly get it, but there's a few times in that film where he drops an F bomb and it's not needed. And that is literally the only great part because everything else is just, it's beautifully done.
Like, say, after then as well, the big standout for me, which was a big surprise, was Steven Merchant's Alvan. It's absolutely brilliant. And even though he kind of looks at Steven Merchant, he kind of was a platformer as well. And a little girl who cleared X23.
Exe, she had a bit of a wilding type of look to her. She was almost there. She was almost there. And what's the name of the barrel?
The barrel I kind of looked to her. But the broken down scene, same cute, Japanese as Wolverine. And seeing him struggling just to get on with the idea. Like, saving a little more driver when they start, that's been our fight scene.
That's not the car. And he's like, worried about money and stuff. Like, problems for like, new kind and stuff. Yeah, that was a big one.
The story was fantastic. And new final, you can't do the old man logan comic book. You can't. No, I'm saying the Hulk in it.
Like, that character in the comic as well would have been. Yeah. And all the other, like the fact that the whole United States, they go, well, they split up in three sections. You've got Red School, Doom, and you've got the Hulk.
And you've got Haw Guy who's a dickhead. And he's like, one of the best goes at the same time. And you can't do that story. And I totally got it.
And I'm not one of these who was like, well, you can't use the title. You can't do the story. You can't use the title. Yeah.
Because the title fit the story that was telling there. I do get the difference between comic size and the movie side. You have to. I got the excitement I got when I think it was announced that they were doing the type of Q Jackman, Desport and Instagram or was it Twitter, the title, like not Logan, he spoke pitch up saying old man Logan, and just exploded at the time.
I was like, yes, this is because I see a lot of the X-Men films have been down and quality, there's a lot of them. Yeah, definitely. But compared to what the good X-Men one, I love X-Men two. I'll talk about the next one because that was absolutely bullshit.
Yeah. And for them, and I love X-Men two, it's probably one of the best comic book films ever. It's basically where you see them go into the music. I wouldn't actually see them be Wolverine and that one as well.
And you see them kicking off. But then they've done the kind of soft reboot as well. And they've done like the first class and D. as a future past again, them two films.
I actually loved the huge, sorry, I'm sorry, no, sorry, it was my call call. I was saying I was such a huge fan of D. as a future past as the comic guy I like for a small portion of time. I actually won't do original comic as well, which went up in price and I saw the totally perfect which I shouldn't really say.
But I still remember it, like the color with all the different X-Men with X's throw and stuff like that. It was done so well. And when they brought the sentles in, but then afterwards, they kind of kind of phoned it in, like they were apocalypse and things. And all those problems with the studio, with the Marvel taking, taking over by Disney and stuff like that stuff.
That's what happens. They had so much potential. First class is phenomenal. Like what a way to start the X-Men off.
And you could have even took that into the MCU. You could have quite easily took that into the MCU. The future passed, not bad, but Dari, not great, but Dari. And then it was like, oh my god, oh my god, that was awful.
But the past, you have hard through the years in the X-Men films. You expect more than what they got. Yeah, definitely. I think it was probably my all-time favorite X-Men film, even though I've got fond memories of X-Men films.
I went on my first date, shall we say it to see one of the X-Men films I've ever bought in cinema when I was about 16, 15 year olds? No, my first date with Anne was Spider-Man 3. Spider-Man 3 in that the Ivy House, it was a good day. Tell me why you dance with me straight.
Love and it's a good choice. That's a solid start. I like that. And not a lot of the X-Men, I haven't seen it brought up a lot on the Facebook post that you put up.
A lot of people put it up. I saw a couple of them, not a lot. Yeah, I think, see it, one of them, with the X-Men films, when you just mentioned X-Men films, it's been dated because of all the things that has happened, and the things that come out from behind the scenes of the X-Men films, which again wasn't always a positive experience for the actors and stuff. And a lot of people have fond memories of other characters, which haven't been done just this yet.
I think this crust, I can say, will get the time to shine in the MCU. My fingers are crossed. My fingers are definitely crossed with that, because I'm not a massive X-Men fan. I'm quite honestly apart from all of my Morgan, and a couple of side things I've read about you, Emma Frost, books and stuff, but I've never really delved into the X-Men in the comics.
So I did not add any of everything that I've got on here, I've read, and that's how I played it, just because I didn't. I think I could have just talked bullshit throughout the whole list. You ready for mine? Go for it.
Right, I'm going to start with this one. This was me last pick, this was the one that I struggled with, so I'm going to go over this first. It's from 2005. All of mine, by the way, are in the early 2000s.
This is 2005, it's part of a trilogy. It's Batman Begins. Cool, very good. I absolutely adore this film so much.
I don't like the trilogy very much, but I absolutely adore this film. It was the Batman you needed at the time. To me, Batman failed real, which I think for a lot of the times is a struggle with the X-Men dressing as a giant Batcheterois criminals is hardening to do, but the Chris Nohren Batheins, you always felt that that could happen in the real world, and I think a lot of it is around that. Exactly.
I'm not saying Christian Bale is my Batman by any stretch, but I just like it was such a breath of fresh air to watch a Batman film that wasn't just a fucking joke anymore, because by the by that point it got to the fact that it was a joke character and he's not by any stretch at all. I loved Liam Neeson in this film. I thought he was perfect as Ross. I even love Killian Murphy.
Sorry if I'm not saying his name right. What a scarecrow. They are truly terrifying. Have you ever seen Red Eye?
Yes. Oh my god, he's so creepy. It's intense. I agree, like, Tim, Batman back to B.S.X.
as well. I think my discussion in the B.S.B. group, like when the set was your favorite batman's in my opinion, was Michael Keaton will always be the best for a sweetie, but Christian Bale was the best Batman. Because even though putting aside his voice, you've felt stuff.
Like, I said, you're in a fight. He would kick this shit out. He would never back down, type of thing. I totally get that.
The whole story about him begins as well. Like, say it was fun. Like, seeing him how he got to be Batman, like the training methods and stuff was always quite interesting. Exactly.
Because you know half the reason of why he becomes Batman. You know, he's a man and dad gets shot. He's absolutely ex-em because he's so privileged. He wouldn't really have to do a lot for himself.
But in this, it showed. I thought it was fantastic. I thought the story was great. I only added, now as much as I put the Dark Knight trilogy on me listening, I'm not a fan of the second one.
And I don't get as wrong. He fledged it was fantastic. I remember watching Batman Begins with Anne and Baron of mine, Anne had already seen this, me and Anne started seeing each other one in 2007. So he started, he'd already seen this and was introducing it to me.
And even he was still buzzing at the end when the Joker card gets pulled out. And then when we heard he was playing it, we were like, okay, I don't mind what he did. It just, I don't know. And I don't want to upset anyone by saying this.
But I think it was hyped up because of how they died shortly afterwards. I don't know if he would have ever gotten an Oscar if he hadn't passed away. I generally don't know what he would have. I don't particularly like that film.
And I really don't like the search one. I don't like to take one of the different opinions and say why things mean stuff to and all. There was panic when the fact went back and begins actually came out because it didn't actually do as well on the box office when it originally came out because they were expected it would be like old school Batman money type thing, but it didn't quite do that. But I think it found it's home on DVD and like on the home release as well.
That's when it's not government traction. But to use villains as well, we've not seen in films like Razzal Gohlan, as you said, the scarecrow was done. I know people hate on Katie Holmes. I didn't think she was that bad as Rachel.
Oh, good. I want to be favorite scenes in the whole thing is when Bruce Wayne takes the gun to the courthouse. She gets ready by and starts hitting him and kicks him out of the car. I thought that was quite good.
I couldn't make sure they have an old Falcone aspect to it. It brought more home to the comics as well. I know Chris up more than to use a lot of different references for a lot of the comics. To me, that one, even though the story is completely different, it did have a lot of fails on the last Halloween.
The long Halloween story. I can't read it. I'm just not read it. That man is something that I pick up slowly.
I don't know. He just recently read Hush. What this is about gets me. He's not the first person I'll go to for reading material.
But when I get there, Jesus Christ, they are so brilliant. The story was fantastic. I could not put that down until I was finished. If you haven't read the long Halloween, I would recommend reading it before the next bat on the road of the Patterson because I believe it is heavily influenced on that comic.
It's got a lot of characters. That is one of my go-to and comics is the long Halloween. I still love the Dark Knight. We have about three copies of that now.
Don't know why. I think because I keep forgetting I've got it. I can't say it again. In Grinchamarken, in Newcastle there's a comic book so I'm sure it's much longer.
There are the original Dark Knight Returns comics because it was a full pattern. I couldn't justify it at that time. I think it was about £200. It goes up and down in price for the fourth.
I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. Jesus Christ.
I'm coming for a lot of money. I think my fight month 300 went for a lot more than I could. First of the payments. The first of the first of the first use of them.
That's my number one pick. What's your number two? It's pretty much me moving on to the second one which is the Dark Knight. That was the reason why I was quite offended.
I wondered why. I was like, oh my god, I'm really upset. No, I didn't want to say that. I think this one is a bit more like for a certain people.
Because it is very much a comic book film. As I would say, the villain in it, the Joker, and all, as you said, with the P-Bledger. To me, that was the Joker I read in the comics. The comic is an agent of chaos.
He's got no interest in monetary values, no interest in power. He's brought about because he's like the yin to the Batman's yan where he's like solo opposites. Wow, when you put it like that, I totally get it. My, what I go to for my Joker is the one from Killin' Joker.
Killin' Joker is the second comic book I ever read. When I finished all that, I moved on to Killin' Joker. That copy that I have, I've had, oh my god, I think it's ants. I literally will not have it damaged in any way.
Because it's that special. Alan Moore is one of my favorite writers. Grant Morrison completely turned me around into looking into that comic differently. But that's the Joker that I'm looking for.
It's the one from that. I personally don't think I found him. No. But the way that you've just described that, I kind of get it.
I do get it. And don't get it. I'm probably going to backtrack on myself a little because I don't want to set anyone. No, it's fine.
I'd say it's like what you're interpreting what you get from it. Like say, I understand why you're saying you don't think you would have run the Oscar. Like say if he didn't have his own timely casting, which again, I'm going to understand, this element solved the dark night that our love, this element I think are kind of being better. Like say when you look at the cast as well, go back to Batman, begin the cast as well.
Like say Gary Oldman, Michael Kian. How can I even forget bringing an up Gary Oldman like, what? Me as in choice for Commissioner Gordon. I'll be happy to get the Commissioner Gordon film just for Gary Oldman.
I'll get one to say that. But I'm going to say Morgan Freeman has a little bit of his foxes and stuff like that. The only thing that did to get me out a little bit was the whole super machine that could read every cell phone and stuff that Batman used to track down the joke. That was a bit like say I didn't really understand it.
So again, I can't understand it. It's kind of fun and I thought two-face was a little bit wasted to be killed off the way he was. Which I can understand why he did it. I loved Harvey Denn up until the point.
And that point ended when he became two-face. Two-face. It just, it's almost like it went out of his way to be villainous. Like oh well.
It's like going back to the other west style. Yes, definitely. I didn't buy it. It wasn't like a natural progression on him, which is what I would expect from two-face.
And it just felt kind of forced. Like oh well, I'm just getting Harvey Fizz, blowing up. I'm going to be back now. Yeah, I just showed him to have a little bit of a ruthless, like a dark side throughout.
Then yes. Yeah, totally, but he wasn't. He was white from the whites. Mm-hmm.
Because I'd not have wanted to make the white knight, so like the whole, like say the hero that Gotham deserves and like say stuff like that. Comes to the actual dark knight. I can understand what they were playing at. Yeah.
To me, the bits in it that worked, folk and hell did work. Made the suits usable for the first time where you can move his neck. And I made a joke about that as well. Which I thought was absolutely brilliant.
And the pencil scene as well, that was absolutely unbelievable. I can say when he took the joke, he first introduced the call crime mobs and stuff. And he just says oh, I want to see a magic trick. Boom.
And that bit was just absolutely brilliant. I remember saying this for the first time, but it was the time when I was like, Manchester for lots. I went to see the big big screen in the print works in Manchester. Oh, yeah.
Which was like, say an experience in itself. But for me as well, why this one stands out more of the other one? The whole marketing campaign before. Because it didn't just see, oh, he's the trailer.
Yeah. It led you to clues. And there was a big group of us as well. I know it was a website called Superhero height the forum.
And we used to post them there and like pick up the clues and send, like say, this is what we found out. And you had to work out the encryption. And when the trailer originally came out, it was droparized. So it had Batman's face.
Like it's smiley face and hahaha. It was one when we were on the rock before, it was actually released, I believe. Again, I could be, I could have come afterwards, but I remember that being the first thing I saw. But absolutely, to me, as you said, when you see a Batman film, it's not real.
And this one was like, same as the whole oatman, bank Robbie, same as the reminds us all of it as well. I'd like to say that with the property, Nero and Al Pacino, the film, like the highest belts, like, like intense and real. It's just not one I would go back to. I'll never watch.
What's it called? God, my eyes is. Oh my God. No, but you don't like Tom Hardy.
It's sword. Green. You're all about the actual. I mean, I thought we score.
You know how to short come round. Yes. It's so bad. That man is terrible.
But I'm going to, in one defense, I wouldn't pass it as a defense, but my only thing with being was the beams. So I've never seen, I've never read a boot that I've been in. I don't have a lot of red friends here. I think I've seen the bat and type thing now.
No, I mean, obviously I've seen the panel. I think everyone's seeing the panel. But I haven't read anything that has been in it. My reference is the games.
And that just wasn't it for me. And the voice, I mean, good God. And it went for colonial, but like in the comics, he was a port of portraig, portraig, I believe. Again, if I'm wrong, I call his alternate.
But I'm sure he was portraig, and maybe he was born in a portraig in jail. And that's because it already went, like the whole break in the bat story, and he basically got every single villain that would jail to wear a band down. And when Batman was at his lowest, that's when he broke him. Prove that.
That was all. Barrio Verde over his Batman for a while. Well, this was at a time. This was at a time when image comics was coming out.
Yes. When the image revolution happened, they had a guy who broke Batman's back. They had to, you know, DC had to go to that level because of the time image was rising to a level that was taping over the two big names in comic books. If you have a chance, I think it's on prime, watch imagerevolution.mentory.
It's so good. Oh, right. But they are responsible for the fact that Batman got his back brought because they had to pull the stops out. They got these guys in figures like it's crazy that they live in like rock style lifestyles.
They're comic book writers. Watch it. It is brilliant. Sex organic.
Exactly. Like Todd McFarland is passionate in this book. Like in this documentary, Rob Leifel does the best top of the artland impression ever. But yeah, it's a good watch with the excellent.
Like, you know, the reason why Batman gets his back or organ in the best place is true to them. I just never read the book. I'm not like, I guess, yeah, I don't go out and wear the read Batman and I don't understand why I don't because the stories are fantastic. Yeah.
There's not, like, now, I could be kind of looking at it. Now there is a bit more of a, like, say, a female perspective. But it was very, like, say, different things. Like, you know, I told him, like, boys and I, if he back in the day, it wasn't, shall we say it?
Not it. Like, say, supportive towards the face. So, And what in the world, definitely the I told you that when you say it was very much a boy's comic. And it's only been in the last few years that it is starting to like, and I think that's a, you know, you can disagree with it.
I'm fine with that. But I do put it down to Harley. Yep. I was a colleague.
I think it came towards the comic. So I think a lot of females did start gravitating towards Harley. I can imagine that she actually needed a debut in a comic first that was in the, I mean, she was a fan of it. I'm a series.
I've got them all on DVD. I love them. But we shouldn't be gravitating towards Harley in any stretch. If you really like the story of Harley, she's a very broken person who is in a very domestic, violent relationship.
But there's just something so endearing about her. And she's, and she always tries as much as she goes back to him. She still always has a little bit in her, where she, she can go a little bit, at her and she can, and she can be on her own. And I think that's been done perfectly with the Harley Quinn animated show.
Like, with their Kelly Coco in it. Yes. She left him and she left him for good. And she found a new friend and I love her and Ivy's like relationship and I was just, I think in the behind universe, Harley was the first interesting female character that was brought in, if that makes sense.
Because I know one dimensional couple men again had a moment. But I think she'll open the door for a lot more, like, different aspects to come in. Totally good. 100% agree with that.
Barbara Gordon is one of my favorite characters. And it comes from the new 52, Gail Samoan run of Barbara Gordon. And it was her, it was she's not Oracle. And I don't know why I did not like the Oracle story.
And all Barbara just doesn't eat tits in when she's like that. But when she's when she's back, and how Gail Samoan wrote her was just perfect. It's a story about getting out of, she's fucking terrified of the Joker. And she's terrified of what'll happen to her again.
And it's getting out of that mindset, dealing with her family life, like outside being Barbara Gordon, while dealing with that nighttime job. And it's such a good, if you ever have the chance to read it, it is fantastic. There is a part in there where Gail got fired. She got sacked from the job and someone else took over.
And I swear to God, if I was reading that week by week, and that was that new writer was awful, absolutely horrible. And the tone changed, importantly. If I knew that Gail was coming back in a few more years, I wouldn't have bothered. When so good I totally went up to the barber there.

And in the fact that he's played by Elijah Wood, like that was incredible. But the standout for me will always be the return of Mickey Rock because this is his return film to Hollywood. And Marv is one of my favorite characters. Like the guy you're stuck in the wrong time.
Like he was meant to be in the 20s. He's not meant to be in modern times. And I have a Marv bust in my living room. Like I absolutely adore this character because he's for all these.
It's raw, but he's got a heart. It's not a matter of heart. Always. Always has a matter of heart.

Just I don't ever want to see Mark done in a bad way. And what was the, because Frank D'Amour got big, like, he helped with this film. He got two big frees boots afterwards. So you try to do his own spin like film wise with Samuel L Jackson.

And friends, like, obviously friends are the mia's and right. Like, Dark Knight just speaks for itself. But what he did with this was just phenomenal. Like so many stories involved in the one can, like, be a really difficult feat.
And he proper, Oh, it's just fantastic. And Robert Rodriguez as well. Like, yeah, this isn't this type of film that I would ever put in down for. Like, if you know, his back catalog, it's not output.
I wouldn't say it's something that he would have, he would have gotten it like to actually do. But he did it so well. So well, for the call of the spirit. Yeah, I was called the spirit.
It had a Samuel L Jackson. I haven't always changed ever. Samuel L Jackson, as the main vibe guy in it. But again, I don't know too much about the film, because I've never watched it.
It looked very much like since any of those individuals. Right. I just love the nawar part of it. The fact that when they do use color, it's used right.
Yeah, and the right performance. Yeah, and it does have that comic book feel to it's like, there is a panel that you'll see that can be done completely in black and white. The effect that it has on the scene, like, it always reminds us, it's probably gone really dark, but it really reminds the shindles list. Like, it's films done in black and white.
We only want a bit of color you'll ever see. Is that little girl's red coat? Yeah. That's effective.
No, that's effective. And it has the same kind of ring throughout since city just having a slight bit of color in a noir film can really make the scene more powerful. Yeah, it's a pop like, I think we call these hair and sand now, like, stuff like that. That was elements that like we've done really well.
But, and I see a little splat's blood here and there. Like, when Marv got caught up, he saw like cut and he sees with blood. And what I did what I did watch since city before I met the booth now. I would have been watching it.
