All of us are doomed to do podcasts until the end of time, Paul. Well, to get this is all of us. For a tire of you. We are joined by the Messiah himself.
We're just quite fitting with it being Easter Sunday. He has risen and is a nerdy motherfucking Jesus himself. And we've got, I give him his title last night. I think I want to stick with this title because I love it.
It is sexual chocolate himself. It is. I'm not going to do that. Pleasure to be here.
I'm not calling you that. You call us it off cam. So. Me and Lee have a bond that nobody can break now.

And we are what I would pass this probably is the hareus podcast. We've got the three beaded we do as a sunny. See, I was nice. I left you out with that one.
I really appreciate that. Lee would have went there. But yes. And then Lee would have fought his forest again.

We went here last week. We were. We were. We were lost in the time vortex that was Lee driving us.
Not actually getting fucking kidnapped by. This is what I wanted to find out. Around this time is when Lee decided was it this time? It wasn't.
It was an exaggeration. It was like a long drum. Let's go for food. Then let's go to the next service station.
They went. I know. Let's turn here. Let's go to ex fun land extreme.
I took the wrong turn and then was like, oh, actually, I know the place up here and didn't realize it was like an extra half and I would drive away. And then we got there and it was like where the fuck was like in the middle of nowhere because there was no cars around. Then it was like the Mecca of children. It was crazy.
It was it's like it just appeared out of nowhere and it was just a very lot of bright lights, a lot of food venues. The carnival ride. Yeah, a swimming pool golf course. It's a big volume.
And Lee described each activity we could have done in what could already be described as a jovial of 12 year old boy. It was almost like it was happening like this. But Lee did it. And then he thought left us and we're like, and then we're trying to work with us being like nerds and awkward and stuff.
We're like, where do we go food? Let's just go to McDonald's. We were so yeah. We were too hungry to pick any any decisions.
Yeah, you're a bit quiet Paul. The same you need to turn yourself up a little bit. And yeah, Lee got my full wrath of my hunger. That day.
I wasn't scared of you at that point. I mean, after that scam is. Oh, yeah, I've lost all credibility. You guys tricked me.
I didn't sign up for no scare. It was all the city police department to casting me. I didn't realize that was going to be a thing. Like I thought we would just I thought that was the entrance and then I got accosted by scare actors who wouldn't leave me alone.
You know why that was though? Me and Lee were smiling and going on. Jake just like throws on the wall and was like, I'm not going to do anything. No attention will be called to me.
And then Sammy was like withering and whimpering like a little lost puppy dog. So I got really close to it. I don't like people being that close. I knew the one thing I touch is I was okay with like if the touches that would have been a whole different fucking scenario.
I probably would have been removed from the players. I don't like people being that close to us. And I was like, how do I get out of this? I've made this 10 times worse.
And I was like, at the end I just said to walk the scare actor who was in front of it was like, oh, you smell nice. And he started laughing and kind of like back away. I offered up my prostate at one point. And then so you got on the table.
You got enjoyed. I showed my mum that video and me mum was like, did somebody ask him to go on that table? I was like, nope. I would have been great a bit like flipped over and then all the actors had to break character.
I was like, no, I was like, no. When he jumped under the all starts in, where's me fucking acts? I was like, okay, this is going to get interesting. And I picked up Lee's bag because Lee's the story's bag on the floor.
I'm not going to leave that because I think I started packing up and thinking so Nick. I refused to leave. I'm going to be back. Just a pig man return.
Like, that's it. When we first went in our drag, Lee, all the way around that. And literally his arm was going wherever I wanted to do. I could have snapped it off at one point.
After that, it was very friendly and nice. That was for you. It was lovely. Thank you to here with Horacon.
It was a fun fun day. Yeah. And we got a VIP badges as well. So I'm sorry.
That's something he was very happy with because something likes to be tracked like a VIP, which is always hilarious. She loves it when you give her a badge. I'm not going to be a special person or just basically general general person. That should be taken up.
I was more happy that I saw her. I saw her wearing a monster's up north bracelet. She actually is at the horror convention that Dan's been at this weekend and went and went and say hello to Dan. So now, yeah.
Very sweet. It was lovely. It was great. We had so much fun.
But you guys had a great time watching Tango and Cash. Yes, we did. I saw what should I go back. I think it was going to be in Lee that watch.

Well said there. So yes. So now we are talking about the 1990 sci-fi action. So this is again, I feel a bit wrong branching out of the Eddies to do this because like said, Eddies was the best for action movies, but this was as close to the Eddies as you can probably get.
Yeah, you filmed in Eddy name. Yeah, it was so good. Eddy name. And before we do that, I have the taglines for the movie.
I've not actually read these before Hansel Bevelers. How would you know if someone stole your mind? Quite easy because if it's a lead, yeah. Yeah, I would be strange.
There's a lot of questions in these taglines. How would you know after memory implantation if your mind is yours? They stole his mind. Now he wants a back.
Get ready for the ride of your life. This one, get ready for the ride of your life. We've just been in the discord, full shopping each other into the air posters and like scenes and stuff. And I thought, oh, if he was here, I'll put her in on the poster and then realize that the poster is like, if it's getting ready for the ride of your life.
It's a different film now. Oh, what have you done? The last one is what would you do if someone stole your mind? Okay, well, a bunch of those aren't right because he doesn't want his mind back really.
Especially not when he finds out that he was the evil guy. He's like, I don't want to go back to that. So I think that the tagline writers sort of misunderstood. It's the meaning of how is it?
It's from the point of view of how is it the bad guy. Just trying to throw you. Yeah, so can I get the controversial comment out at the start so that people can hear his and my callers tell us I'm wrong, right from the start? I think the premise is, I think this premise of the movie is such a good idea.
I think watching it back now, they should have cast someone other than Arnold Schwarzenegger. Do you want to know who was originally cast as Arnold before, Arnie? It rolls in from last week. It was Patrick Swayze.
Patrick Swayze was meant to play the main role of this film, but the director wanted Arnie for Royal Boa Cop. Right. We all know how that went down. It didn't fit into the suit.
It didn't work. So it moved on. When it came to this studio wanted Patrick Swayze, because apparently everyone wanted Patrick Swayze back then. I had to switch it.
And we left from Tango and Cash last week. Double beer in the corner. Exactly. And then the director was like, no, I need Arnie.
I missed out working on Royal Boa Cop and I need Arnie in this film. I think the idea in the premise of this movie is so good. And again, the movie's good. Don't get as wrong.
I love the movie. It is so fun to watch. But I think it does the story a little bit of a disservice when you have Arnie playing such a complicated and complex character and he can't amort. That's the thing.
This, if you wanted like the emotions, like. Some bullshit, really. And everyone makes a love to the one-liners, but again, when you have the one-liners in, I think it does a disservice to the story a little bit. That doesn't fit, does it?
Not. See you at the party, Richard. It just doesn't like, we weren't talking about the party like right before that. I think it changed quite a lot.
Once Arnie was cast in this, there did have a few people in mind as well. William Hurt was attached to this at one point. But once the cast Arnie, we're going to need a lot more violence in this. That's what I was thinking.
I couldn't imagine Swayze with the Squib packs shooting guys on the escalator. I just couldn't see that. There was so many complaints as well where people were like, Arnie was movies too violent. And it's like, you've gone to see an 18 rated Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.
Yeah, what do you expect? Yeah. Was this fans of the book though? Possibly.
Possibly. Possibly. I love the advertisement campaign back in the 90s when this came out as well. Because it wasn't HMV.
It was like, I wore price or something. That was the big video of videos and stuff like that by us to get the movie posters. And visually, the poster for this was like the blue with the pyramids and everything just looked futuristic and quite striking. I remember as a kid going, oh, this looks amazing.
And then you saw the trailers. And the trailers was always with the head, the woman's head going. Like two weeks. And then the head kind of morphing out and it was like that far.
It was like, how did it do that? It was like practical effects at its best, I think. That was kind of like the big campaign. But getting out of the watch the movie, as you said, like being a fan of like Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, like Commando, like Red Heat, even Predator, you kind of got the same vibe from this.
But watching it now as like an adult, it's kind of like, oh, this film is good. But it's not so much potential. Like we think about like the undertones, like the political unrest, the facts, the ones, like the corporations, keeping everyone under control by not giving them like the basic human rights, which is air. There's the whole backstory and like undertones of like an alien civilization that had technology that could think.
And again, answering the question, because you never quite show when you're watching this one. Again, this is one of the things I'll ask you throughout this movie. Is this all real or is this all was implanted due to the total recall type thing? Because everything like has played a part, like kind of takes a box, but it's done so well.
I think I think Phady, I'll give her a joke in the chat, nailed it with the cast. I maybe had someone like Harrison Ford. How fucking like that would have, like, again, because Harrison Ford does grumpy and like, not saying, like, because I know some of these things I haven't thought from in the end. No, I think more than anything.
But it's ours. But you think that's the way you're not going to see one the noise with Blade Runner. No, but if you see the way he is, as Dettern Blade Runner, Dettern in this role would have been, like, because he's kind of like conflicted within himself. Like, is he like, is he a replicant?
Is he not? He's like, that's the kind of like performance that would have been quite good. Like, because when Arnie's playing it, he don't fail, like he's kind of set and guessing. He's like, oh, is this a dream?
Like, he sees it. Like, I was like, ah, what if this is all a dream? It's like, there's no emotional weight or back to it. It's like, that should have been upon you, like really, upon you and statement.
It would have had a little bit more thing. And it's just like off the code. It's almost like, um, what's it called, Chris Nolan's inception at the end when the things keep spinning and you're waiting. Again, it's got the same thing, but I think it's just been in top as more of an impact than Arnie's line.
And that's such a shame. Because otherwise, this movie is just full, like, it's fun, but it could have been like a lot more. Yeah, I don't think they really give you enough to like, to make that kind of end and stick though. Cause like, you know, there's a couple of times when you call it the question, like, is it real?
Or is it fake? But it's proven fake, you know, like when the guy comes in the hotel room and he's like, ah, we're trying to like get a message to you, like type of thing. Like, they prove that's fake because he like starts sweating and stuff when he's about shooting. So I think like you can't do a swerve, like how they did it.
But yeah, like you say, there is potentially another movie in here in this idea that is more like cerebral, but they kind of like quash any like any sort of second guessing. Like throughout this one that's like, nope, this is real. You are a different person now, you know, than you were before. Well, I think it's a I think it's all a dream.
Like, why couldn't that guy coming in just be part of his fantasy type thing? Yeah. But the main thing that makes us think this is when the loading up all the stuff, someone goes, blue skies on Mars, that's new. And it's like, who the fuck could guess that's like, as a thing?
Like, even suggest that as a dream. Yeah. And then that happens at the end and it's like, that's going to be a dream because the set if we fall the load of the mint. Yeah.
No, it's definitely. It's not gonna lie. I was very confused all the way through this film. This one thing which people use as an argument is like, he was dreaming about that last beforehand.
So how could she be in this dream world? But this is completely off the graphic novelization adds another bit in that isn't in the film where he asks, what did she do before this? And she said she used the model for recall. Right.
So she should be one of the models in that. Oh, so it's like she said an image he's seen, right? Yeah, interesting. So if you can give him a look at the mic, that's what we cut.
That's fine. That's what we decided to join us. You just can't see him because we were starting to get very dark now. I suppose like, yeah, to be honest, I'd never really watch this film with the lens of like, what is the secret meaning?
Normally, though. Because like, maybe what Paul says, maybe it's because Arnold's too like, like, you know, he's the action star. Like, why would he be that buff if he wasn't some kind of like, you know, like, kind of an agent type of guy, like a military man. Yeah, no, I think he takes you to out of the film to actually see the hidden meaning behind everything else, because you just really focus on the performance.
And you wait for the one line is and you wait for, you know, the Arnie, Arnie isms. And that's probably how I've viewed it anyway, because I didn't even think about the whole, you know, the social, political aspect and feel to it, because I'm too busy. Like, what's Arnie going to do next? What's he going to say next?
Well, like, we're talking about like, say the cast wise and stuff, because as I said, like, that's the negative talk about the positive, because like, this was my first introduction in a scene showing the storm. I looked absolutely stunning. She was great in this movie. And that's one of the best female fight scenes as well.
Yeah, I guess. A bunch of fights, Arnie though, she just hits them in the jungle. Get back over and over again. Yeah, I've got a story about that.
So she, she really put herself into this role. She went to martial arts training, and she like, and Arnie was so impressed with the dedication. Yep, the dedication, the dedication that she brought to this role, that he actually entered her into the Estence Woman Hall of Fame as an honorary member. Oh, right.
Because he was so impressed. He comes off as such a great guy in this movie, not just like, like, not on the, like, as a person. So, um, here's your favorite at my Goliath's side. Oh, it was bringing an interesting, I know what you're going to see here.
It's such a beautiful story. So, you know what I said, my Goliath's side was taking a lot of phone calls and between takes. And instead of getting like, honestly about it, like, which people can, it's like, you know, if you, you destructed, Arnie asked us everything all here. And he said, normally, sister's gone through cancer treatment at the moment.
And he was like, shit, okay. So he took them to one side, took them to his trailer and had his phone call with his sister and Michael and give him, to give her the best exercise and food to kind of get her through a treatment. And he never forgot. The pair of them never forgot how kind he was in that day.
And it just made his experience on the whole set just a lot different. Like, we talked about him when in Batman and Robin, about him going through his own cancer treatment. And it just always just, it comes, it just generally come across as a Grig. And then we've found California, and we've found his nanny, but like, he is his donkey's now.
You know, like, yeah, he's one of those like complicated guys where, like, yes, he's definitely got like a lot of flaws, but he'll also like really admit them. Yeah, which doesn't mean he never did them, but it means he's at least like thinking about stuff. He's a couple of three sections. Yeah.
And also like, yeah, from everything I've heard, like, he loves the movie business, you know, he loves like the fitness industry. Like, you know, like he has actual like passion for stuff. Like he's not just about making money, but he does love to make money. Yeah, like, just not.
Yeah. He loves the American dream. He always talks about like how that was his dream as a kid, like he actually got the American dream sort of thing that they talked about in movies and stuff. So I'm trying to get some more light with the blindness.
There's a light. Just a lot of time. Some of the time podcasts and videos that get stuck. You can't time it right.
And because when I first logged on, Paul was like, oh, that's bright. I was like, I guess the sun is directly in my window. And the light that I have on is too dark for recording as we've learned this week. So I want to, I want to have you use me lamp.
Oh, I know it's some like fun things down. How much current technology did you notice being like, oh, we're here now? Like, I know like technically we don't have like holograms in the house, but the whole like, oh, I'm going to learn how to do the correct like tennis thing. Like you would just load it up on YouTube, wouldn't you?
Yeah. And stand there like, like having a quick go. And like there's just like a few other things or like, you know, self-driving cars and things. Yes.
I know we don't want Johnny Carter. And I know it's not a fun robot, you know, like, because we don't get to have the fun future. We just have to have boring future. But it's interesting how we're like almost getting to like 1990 sci-fi.
We don't have music. Well, to be fair, because that stupid car, you know, musk's what I've looked exactly like the cars in total. Yeah. Yeah.
Johnny in there. And the makeup in this movie is from of the greatest makeup that's ever been done because it's done by one man and one man alone. The amazing Rob Button here. If you are a monster listener, you'll be familiar with the name because he's being brought up a few times.
And his makeup is quite signature, which I've realized today. It's he did the thing. Right. Okay.
And he's done this. So it's very much sci-fi and stuff. Yeah. And he actually he retired because he retired in 2002 because he was absolutely sick of seeing the practical effect side being taken out and being replaced with CGI.
The only time he ever came out of retirement was to work on Game of Thrones. This man was trained under some of the best. His first initial film was The Howlin. Right.
And he kind of he's Stan Winston. Stan Winston. Yeah. One of the greatest makeup artists of all time.
He's under his tutelage. And yeah, he the thing was the first thing he ever did. But I'm not by himself. It was like, it was his baby kind of thing.
He was he worked relentlessly. He worked when he wasn't meant to be working to make this perfect. And you can see from the thing to this, how he's just getting slightly better. But there was one signature thing that I noticed is his faces.
Yeah. They look like rugby danger fields. All of them. I don't know why.
Like, but the practical effects in this movie is probably one of the things that stands out. And it's what is why this film is quite legendary because of the things in this. One of the first things you see is that Arnold Heddi exploded. Which I did some accidental research because I was watching an anime George Osbissar adventure.
And they also had a zero gravity. Your blood is about to boil once the air goes out of the atmosphere. So I think I'm not going to say it would accurately look like that. But technically you do get real fucked up if you go into like a zero atmosphere because like the pressure boils your blood inside of your stuff like that.
So, you know, it could happen. Yeah, I will build out. The practical effects in this were so good that people were going up to the actor. I can't remember his name asking if he was actually a Siamese twin.
Like as if he actually has a quarter. Because he's saying a lot of different movies. What's it called? Marshall Bell.
He plays a quarter of George. He reminded us of a Kyle Reese for some reason. I was like, you've got that look about him. Yeah, he does.
I think Kyle Reese vibes often put the practical effects in this as just phenomenal. But you can there's a clear distinct look when you know the practical effect is taken over. And the actor is now starting to disappear underneath it. Do we have a couple of really good transitions though?
Like I know. The transition works fine. It's just that it's the afterwards. It's the there's a definite glossy look to the face once you know that they are no longer like they're under the prosthetic now.
You know when the gore reverse at the end like I thought because I was like paying real close attention. I was like, I'm going to see the transition here. I was going to cut away. It doesn't cut away.
But it's actually quite natural how they like transition back to the footage. I was like, that's probably Rob's work because the howlin he took the American Weirwolf in Paris transformation and he which Rebecca did. And he used that in the howlin to kind of like create his own way of transitioning. Because that was monumental.
That was huge. The transition in American Weirwolf in London. And that's probably is how we saw good transition and stuff in movies because of that. And then to get Rob button is on the list for monsters because his career path is just it's unreal.
The work that he's done is absolutely fantastic. Good at making a mess of heads. I can't go to the heads of the some iconic moments in this movie when it comes to like the stuff. GX already said at the start you see the eyeballs and the head explosion saying which is kind of repeat at the end.
There's also when like one of the most disturbing scenes I found was when they get the track out of Arnie's face. And he's like it's such a clever scene though as well. He's been given the secret. The suitcase full of all the equipment he needs to get into Mars and think.
And he's been tracked down with white lines, sides, bad guys and all this jazz. And it's very much like action troops. But he's put down he's like, oh, you need to get the track out of your face. And you think it's just going to be a little minute thing?
Like a little thing like that. Couldn't be behind the ear or something. No, it uses one of the most prehistoric tools I've ever seen. Like it's what this must be.
Sci-fi. It's basically like a like a cooking tool with a little clover. Yeah, it's just a little grabber. You know, the arcades.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've heard, um, where I had self-guiding.
When I had my nose operation, I had something quite similar. I put up my nose for them to have, I had a camera on it. It's not nice. And that much makes me cringe.
But that scene just makes you shudder. It's when he's like, oh, when you hear the crack, that'll be it. And I'm just like, oh. Yeah.
And you're like, then you'll know that you've got it. Yeah. Yeah. That is that's impressive though how he does that because it's like Arnie's eyes are behind there.
And he's faces kind of like moving about it. The work that Rob does is absolutely unreal. And I don't like that scene or that. That scene makes me feel like it gives us nightmares actually.
I checked out the video game this week and that was about as far as I got up to the part of getting the briefcase. Is it the video game just the movie play out in the video game or can you be able to do it? It was like a side-scroller or something. Yeah.
Yeah. You're like running around the streets with like millions of people attacking you, which is kind of accurate, you know, like in the start when he gets like found out or whatever. And all the goons are running after him in his construction buddy. But no, he ended up fighting like homeless people before he gets the suitcase.
And that didn't happen in the movie. No. The homeless person tried the Staley's Sukiess. It's like, that's just the whole lady.
He says me. I'll tell you what they do have in the game. The skeleton sequence when he's behind the scanner thing. Oh, he had to go through it.
See, I think they missed a trick with that as well. Like when you saw the skeleton saying, I thought we were going to get like a whole like watch. I was like, I fight saying more. Combat saying in bones breaking.
I thought that would have been fucking amazing. Oh, can you imagine if the like X3 movie was like, I was like, why? Like, try chopping someone's like neck breaking and stuff. He did a couple of good karate chops.
I didn't think Arnie had a sharpie. And we did a few good ones. I'm like, I'm going to drag him around the corner. He chops somebody in the head and his head came.
I don't think he's. He's hands are powerful. Yeah. It seems like anything that only touches him.
He hits his bleat. Like when he gets cornered by them people, he's like, snap a neck. He's like, just got blood all over his hands. He's like, oh, like, you know, like, that's like his ex friend, but he just immediately goes to like snap his neck.
And actually, sorry, you know, he like rips his arm off. Yeah. He puts him down on the ground. He's just like, you're his friend 10 minutes ago.
Do you want to ask him some more questions? Like, why are you going to take? Well, yeah. The guy who kept saying, I've got five kids to feed.
I was like, I've got this better. He offered some point because you've said it so many times. It's not going to be a piece of it. It's like really, really.
It was a very much like a fella glab room for that scene, though, when it paid off when, you know, when Sarah's getting changed, she has to go underground by that monster thing. That's what it felt like. And then he was like, I got that little drill. I'll get on you.
And that's the answer is a question. I'm the answer question for us. The guy who comes in to tell him basically everything. And he actually tells you the whole plot of the film as well, if he was paying close attention.
And who is he? Where do I recognize? Which one? The one who was like the main guy, he's running on the floor.
When he's in the hotel room and he goes in and he tells him that this is not the real end. Oh, the duck. He actually explains the whole plot of the movie. He's in lots of, he's in lots of, he's in lots of movies, but he's in total recoil.
You need to get it. He was in Tango and Kache. He's a scientist. He'll be there for you.
Like Ninjak. He was in Bill & Ted's Bob's journey. That's it. He was in Scrooge.
Is he like a teacher or something and Bill & Ted's? I can't remember now. No, I know. That's it.
That's where I remember him from. Because he was a duck. He was a duck. He was one of the people I got killed by the spider.
I'm sick of spiders. It was like a freak. So, I thought it was like, I went and kicked off and he has to go on the run. That was when my brain was like, oh, okay, the interesting sci-fi is kind of over now.
Yeah, we're in the action. It's very much in sections, isn't it? The sci-fi part and the action part. And they're not the very separated.
I noticed that towards the end, I was like, oh, so we're just a lot of fighting going on. A little bit of like, spy intrigue, but no, no. You know, when he's like, oh, I got the hotel under a fake name. Like that stuff's all fun.
But I think like it takes them like what? 40 minutes, I think I clock to get to start going to Mars. Which in the movie, all about Mars and stuff. It's quite bold of them not to go there for like a good chunk of the movie.
Again, this is where like, I think not seeing that it's not clever. But when it comes to like, surveillance and stuff now, this is meant to be a futuristic movie. And we know what it's like being in the surveillance state. You can't go anywhere without your picture or anything being seen.
And Arnie's character, like, look and fail is not that easy to hide. Like, you wouldn't, like, I know he tries to do the disguise. Yeah. And I do disguise in the airport where he dresses.
He gets his nice towel as well. Yeah. The towel. I'm not, I'm not, he said something like that.
Nope. Nope. Nope. That's not going to be a sound bite for me.
Yeah. It's not like he can hide behind treats. I do like the disguise with the lady though. And this just went to prove how much I was not paying attention the first time I watched this because I was like, oh, what's happening?
And I was like, do you not remember? I was like, why is this lady going, whoa, whoa, whoa. I was like, what's going to come out of that? And he was like, Arnie.
Yeah. I was like, oh, how? I'm sure this is where men in black got the idea as well. They never really explain why it breaks though.

It wasn't really broken though because it's like, it's only going two weeks, two weeks. And it's like, oh, that's all they can see now. But then he throws it and goes, get ready for a surprise. Yeah.
Yeah. There was one more line in them. There was a lot of choices in this movie as well. And the other thing that a lot of people have already made jokes about as well as the three-boob woman.
Again, I think that was an interesting choice to have in the movie. I don't think I needed to be played out as much as I did. But remember, this is very much short, like three times. That they could go back to the joke three times.
Also, I was going to say I did like that, the sort of the brothel. You do end up kind of loving all those like, we know. Yeah, you feel like sorry for them in the night, especially when you get turned off and like, oh, no. I don't like 20's face, man.
It's too much. It's like a bum. By the end, by the end, though, you're like, hell yeah, so you live on. You live on.

They're actually using a sense of what Michael Ainside character is like. I don't know. I don't know. He's already shot his own stone stone's wife, which gets a headshot, which is just brutally done and well done as well.
Was it a divorce? I feel like that's something you wouldn't see anymore, isn't it? Like people getting shot in the head and then seeing it afterwards. No.
With your star actress. No. She looked absolutely phenomenal in this movie. Like a hand suit on that part.

There was a lot of that in Hollywood, though. Like, you know, if a woman shows like, you know, any kind of, like, you know, either it is too sexual or it's like too silly. It just immediately gets panned and everyone's like, I can't take that. Oh, yeah.
If you're not, if you're not the Meryl Streak of Hollywood, and you kind of dare go out of that around, then yeah, you're fucked. I did hear rumors that Chris brought his VCR, pressing fast-forwarding pause on that film just getting out of the scene. Just rumors I'm getting out of the scene. I mean, like, to be honest with you, like, the three booblyity was like the talking point for the children on the schoolyard about total recall.
I mean, I was like, obviously, this was like, it would have already been out years at that point. But this was like, you know, up there in the ones that people would mention just for this reason. And then when you're watching, you're like, ah, there's a lot of grotesque sci-fi. This movie isn't sexy at all.
So, I think... No, it was a lot of people about this. Like, if you just Google Total Recall, one of the air suggested things is, what is the most paused moment in Total Recall? And I was like, it's going to say the three booblyity.
And it's like, yeah. But Total is the worst. But all the horrible part when they're in bed together at the start, it's kind of easy. That is so awkward, isn't it?
It's like, oh, I don't want to... But again, if that was done with a different actor, it might have been a completely different thing to it. I'm kind of saying, where are you coming from with this mind? Yeah, it's like at the start, he has this really meaningful moment, so I feel like I was supposed to be more than this.
This was like a really emotional scene. And there's nothing back. It's like, Sharon Stone's giving you great stuff, great stuff to work with. It's like, oh, you are someone special.
You're someone special to me. And it's like, oh, that's really great. And Arnie's like, ah, okay. It's like...
I was like, I've got the news back up. It's like, it was a Simpsons episode in Twoy, what you called? Yeah, yeah, well, it was like in front of us, but that's only like, again, as an action piece, as an action movie, it's perfect for fit and for Arnie. But if you wanted to delve deeper or give us more, because this story after, I believe, and again, I know what I'm talking about, but the remake gets a lot of shit because of the fans love this version.
But the remake has a little bit more pull, but again, it relies very much on the special effects. And Colin Farrell is actually really good as the character. It's just the lore was compared to this, because the one that has the action muscle mass blower... Like, thing but...
Blown out, Arnie. Yeah. I'll tell you what, I did really appreciate about this movie. That I definitely wouldn't have thought much about at the time.
Like, nothing gets in the way of the action and the silliness. You know, like, there's no, like, oh, I, you know, someone would call the police on this. Like, there's no, there's no like worry of that stuff. And I do love how bold it is to just go like walls to the wall and be like, no, yeah, like these superstarsons are just gonna shoot, you know, into the crowd, into a like a train.
And, you know, we don't have to worry about, you know, that I'm getting arrested and the story being stuffed. It just goes like, yeah. I feel like that's the kind of movie we don't get anymore. I think people would try and like logic, pick it to pieces.
But you kind of want your heroes and villains to be free, to just like do stuff. I do want to talk about the train though as well, because in action movies, they always have a good train jump or like a train, like a skate. And normally it's either they're just getting on the doors in time or jump on the side or jump on top of the train. I love how they flipped it a little bit.
This way, well, Arnie was just running alongside it. He shot the window and jumped through the window while it was going back again. I've never seen that done like that before or anything. And then how he just stands up and everyone's just like standing there like normal, like nothing had ever happened.
I was like, I mean, this is just the window. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, it doesn't shoot the window because the punch it. Oh, it's meant to be like an explosive in the glass that goes off like just before he hits it. Right.
