In this episode of Sense-Making in a Changing World it is my honour and delight to be speaking with a giant in the world of design, Professor Janis Birkeland.  Janis has dedicated her personal, professional and academic life to figuring out what is genuine ecological and social sustainability and how we can work towards it.She was drawn to exploring and reimagining the design of our cities, the places where we live and work to explore this question. She first became an architect and urban designer, then transferred into city planning.
