Netflix set to buy Warner Bros film & streaming businesses for $72b

Netflix has moved to buy Warner Bros’ film and streaming businesses in a takeover valued at around $72 billion. If it goes ahead, it would place some of Hollywood’s most valuable franchises - from DC superheroes to Warner’s vast film library - under the Netflix umbrella. What would that mean for the industry, for audiences, and for the future of theatre releases? Anton is joined by author, critic, and all-round expert on film Darren Mooney to break it all down.
