Jeffrey “JMatt” Matthias, founder of HashtagMKE joined Jeff and Martin to discuss social media, including Meta and Facebook introducing community notes instead of third-party fact-checking. The Social Media War: Jeff asked JMatt about his predictions for social media with the rise of platforms like BlueSky and Truth Social. JMatt brings up artificial intelligence. Jeff also asked him about changes in how businesses use social media and the anniversary of HashtagMKE. Jeff gave away a gift card to the Mineshaft restaurants. The use of American flag iconography in business imaging had been going down recently. Jeff and Martin discussed why they thought this was happening. Jeff and Martin briefly discussed the fastest growing job markets but then finished by discussing whether funerals should be a celebration of life or networking.
