Giovanna Lester is a conference interpreter, translator, speaker, writer. She began her career  in 1980. She's been president of two Florida Chapters (3 terms total; and is a co-founder of the current one, ATIF), vice-chair of the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters, Editor and Curator of NAJIT’s weekly online publication, The NAJIT Observer, served as Assistant Admin and Administrator in the ATA interpreters Division,  and the ATA's  marketing team.
