She has over 14 years experience working as a specialist tutor, developmental educator, autism therapist, student counsellor and assisting individuals with Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD and other Specific Learning Difficulties. Alexie works with children, adolescences and adults who present with a wide variety of learning challenges focusing on literacy and numeracy developmental along with preparing students for their final years of high school. Alexie is also an adolescent counsellor, who provides practical support for struggling students, parents and teachers. Alexie gives us all the tips on reading with dyslexia, what to do and who to contact if you think your child may struggle with dyslexia. And most importantly, she gives us hope! That with the right tools and study strategies you or your child can fall in love with reading too. Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems.
