Neurosurgeon murder - man doctor paid for sex accused of killing him - Dr. Devon Hoover

Dr. Devon Hoover was a beloved neurosurgeon in Detroit — and was allegedly murdered by a man he paid for sex. Desmond Burks is accused of killing Dr. Hoover in his historic mansion on April 23, 2003. Burks’ trial is scheduled for the beginning of 2026.
