Nevada Governor Race Dead Heat | Las Vegas News

Nevada’s governor race is a nail-biter, with Attorney General Aaron Ford and Governor Joe Lombardo locked in a dead heat at 44% and 42% respectively — a razor-thin margin that leaves the outcome hanging. As early voting looms in six weeks, campaigns are already trading blows: Ford accuses Lombardo of prioritizing Trump over Nevadans’ economic struggles, while Lombardo’s allies tout polls showing him ahead and claim he’s delivering results. With the economy — jobs, inflation, taxes — dominating voters’ concerns, housing affordability and opposition to data centers also weigh heavily. Ford leads among Hispanic voters and women, while Lombardo edges out white voters and men. Independents remain pivotal, with Lombardo holding a slight advantage — making this election a high-stakes battle for every undecided voter.
