(John 10:10)”I believe the number one thing the thief tries to steal from us is our dignity and our self respect. It tries to make us feel less than. It wants to make us believe that we aren’t anything, never have been anything, and never will be anything.We must refuse to surrender to our circumstances. We refuse to be twisted by racism, sexism, classism, and any other “ism” that tries to keep us in our so called place. We resist in part by striving to become our best, fullest, most complete selves. We resist by making positive contributions to the world around us.
