Never Been Kissed (1999)
from This Ends at Prom Hosted by Brennan Klein
"That thing, that moment, when you kiss someone and everything around becomes hazy and the only thing in focus is you and this person and you realize that that person is the only person that you're supposed to kiss for the rest of your life, and for one moment you get this amazing gift and you want to laugh and you want to cry because you feel so lucky that you found it and so scared that that it will go away all at the same time." This week The Wives Colangelo are joined by essayist and podcaster Laura Leigh Abby to talk about the Drew Barrymore classic, NEVER BEEN KISSED. Together we talk about whether or not we'd ever want to return to high school, the importance of healing your inner "Josie Grossie," and question whether this film is as problematic as we remember, or if we were all just hypnotized by the rom-com beats.
