Never Forget

What if 9/11 happened today? Not knowing what we know now. No spoilers. No hindsight. Just you, your phone, social media, and whatever information you could get your hands on in real time. In this episode of Pop Ya Shit, Quran and Egypt put themselves into two different 9/11 scenarios and try to figure out exactly what they would do—with today’s technology, communication, and access to information. Would you call 911? Follow your job’s protocol? Check Twitter, TikTok, or Citizens? Leave your car behind? Or would survival instincts take over and have you running for your life? We also get into the reality of what happened that day, Egypt’s personal connection to the area around the World Trade Center, and how different the world is now compared to 2001. The question is simple: If something like 9/11 happened in New York City today, would you actually know what to do? And more importantly… Where are you meeting your people if you can't reach them? Welcome to a new kind of Pop Ya Shit. #PopYaShit #911 #TrueCrime #WhatWouldYouDo #Podcast #NewYork #Storytelling
