Never Forgotten (1 Chronicles 1 - 9)

Share a comment Does God really care about names, past failures, and small acts of service? The opening chapters of 1 Chronicles suggest He absolutely does. These nine chapters, filled with genealogies, highlight God’s attention to detail—every person, every family, and every act of faith is recorded. You will meet Jabez, a man who refused to let his painful past define him and whose prayer for a new future was answered. You will witness warriors who won victories not by strength, but by trusting in God’s power. You will see temple workers—gatekeepers, bakers, and singers—whose names are preserved for eternity, proving that no act of service for God is too small. This episode reveals three life-changing principles: your past does not have to control your future, true success comes from trusting God, and no service for Him goes unnoticed. If you have ever felt forgotten, overlooked, or weighed down by past struggles, this lesson will remind you of a greater truth—God sees you, He hears you, and He remembers you.Stephen Davey's newest book, The Disciples Prayer, is available now. https://www.wisdomonline.org/store/view/the-disciples-prayer-hardbackLearn more about twenty-five years of global impact, and reserve tickets to our gala. https://www.wisdomonline.org/mp/25 Learn more at https://www.wisdomonline.org/Support the show
