Never kiss a man in an ugly Christmas sweater while you’re fact-checking USS Christmas

We’re getting closer to the launch of Season 2 but we’ve still got some time to replay some of our old podcast episodes. This week is a fun one, probably our favorite episode of all time. We reviewed the Hallmark Christmas movie Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater, which set off a very tense discussion about the “ugly Christmas sweater” trend.But the best part was an epic fact check from a Navy husband who had some nitpicks with USS Christmas. It was shocking to learn Hallmark may have gotten a few things wrong about Navy life, but it was a very educational experience. It will also be very clear that I (Kira) know nothing about military life or titles.We had so much fun recording this episode and it was fun to go back re-listen. We were just on the cusp of 2021 and adjusting to life in the pandemic era, but as always, we remained faithful to the Christmas spirit.
