Never Late

Today we continue with Kings! You will look at an extremely wicked king and probably wonder how he could do the things he did. While there were many evil kings, King Ahaz was especially so. He offered his son as an offering to false gods! Repentance could have turned him around, but he refused. God even told him through the prophet Isaiah to ask him for any sign to help him out of the mess he was in, and Ahaz refused the Lord! God all but begged Ahaz to turn to him and he just wouldn’t. He was offended and fearful and made bad decisions because of that. He didn’t have confidence in God or that he would have delivered him even after the prophet was sent to reassure him.
