This episode Steve and Chuck welcome author Ben Davis. Even though Ben never stepped foot inside the Elgin, he has written THE book on repertory theaters entitled, Repertory Movie Theaters of New York City: Havens for Revivals, Indies and the Avant-Garde, 1960-1994. In the episode, Ben talks about his life, the movies that influenced it and the process of getting his book published which included interviewing our hosts Chuck and Steve for the chapter about the Elgin.
