Eddie Purpose is the President and founder of Progress Pushers whose mission is to help guide, educate and empower Black and Brown youth and those most impacted by societal systems by connecting them to mentors and much needed skills and opportunities so they can live in their greatness.Eddie is one of four children raised solely by his mother, Ms. Anqunnettia Howard and only met his father twice. Once at 8 years old and again in 2018.Eddie will tell you, “I went to prison as a teenager and wasn’t released until I was 31.” He had no support to help him succeed in the real world before prison but was able to successfully reenter society and obtain what he’s obtained DUE TO his support system post prison. “Adjusting to society was completely strange, difficult, nerve-wracking!"
