New 50% tariffs on Canada. Plus: Man who insulted police officer gets charged

U.S President Donald Trump has announced new 50% tariffs on most Canadian goods. Premier Christine Fréchette reacted on social media to the new tariffs, calling them unjustified. A 24-year-old Montreal man who appeared in viral videos verbally insulting and making misogynistic remarks toward a police officer has been charged with three counts of defamatory libel.  Alberta NDP Leader Naheed Nenshi has apologized after facing criticism for posing in a photo with Israel's ambassador to Canada at the Calgary Stampede.  E-scooters and their popularity has grown exponentially over the last few years.
