TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

Okay, have you seen all the new stuff that's going on in AI right now? I am terribly confused. I'm terribly excited. I'm somewhat kind of scared.

Well, how you doing? I'm Michael Prose. This, well, this is the daily grateful where we come on and we talk about stuff that we're grateful for and anything else I want to talk about. And today I want to talk about, oh, OpenAI.

They're the people who made ChatGPT on Monday. They showed up with ChatGPT 4.0 and you want to say O, which is a zero, but it's not an O, which is a zero. It's a 4.0 and then a little tiny case O, which is supposed to be, I've got it up on the screen right now. I'm looking at it.

I have not, you know, it's supposed to be really good. Now, one of the things that it has that the other ChatGPT did not have, I'm talking about the free version. There was a ChatGPT 4.0 that you had to pay 20 bucks a month for. This is ChatGPT 4.0 lowercase O that is supposed to be better than that and yet it's free.

And down at the bottom where you type your messages in, there's a little clippy thing there that you can attach a file to and you can ask it, you can ask it questions about it or you can have it do stuff about it. I have not tried that and I'm trying to think, do I have any pictures on this computer that I could do that with? Well, yeah, I've got a picture. All right.

Okay. So you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to do that. I'm going to attach.

There we go. I'm attaching and then I'm going to go to the desktop and I'm going to attach a picture of Ernesto Durango. Some of you may wonder who Ernesto Durango is. If you go to ErnestoDurango.com, you can read his bio.

You can. And now there's a picture of him. The picture is on there. So I'm going to go in here and I'm going to say, please tell me everything.

Don't you love, you know, me talking and typing at the same time. I mean, isn't that just grand that I'm doing that? So, all right. And I typed it in the wrong place.

Please tell me everything about this is riveting audio that you're listening to this person. Okay, let's let's see what. Let's just see what it does. And I said, please tell me everything about this person.

I'm sorry, but I can't identify or provide information on individuals from images. The Ernesto Durango show appears to be the title of a show, but without additional context, it's difficult to provide specific details. If you can provide me with more context or specific questions about the show or the person, I would be so happy to help you with information. So let's, let's, let's do that.

So tell me what you know about the Ernesto. I'm plugging an old podcast of mine. It was actually an old radio show right here on this, on this very podcast. I'm plugging this.

Oh, I'm typing with two fingers. Durango show. Okay. Tell me what you know about the Ernesto Durango show.

That's what I put. Let's see what it says. There's limited information about the Ernesto Durango show based solely on the image you provided. The image suggests a comic satirical tone with a playful depiction involving sombreros on the beach.

Yes. To provide a more detailed, oh gosh, it's just going on. Oh, it found the website. It found the website.

It did. It found the website and it read the bio. It totally, and my name's in it. The Ernesto Durango show is a quirky humorous podcast that airs almost daily on various radio stations and is available on multiple podcast platforms.

Well, that's not really true. The show is hosted by Ernesto Durango, has often a satirical and often whimsical tone. I didn't write any of this. Addressing a variety of topics, short episodes are designed to be lighthearted and entertainer and entertaining.

And then it says Ernesto Durango has had an eclectic career beginning in journalism after working as a bartender. He, I did not write this. It pulled this from a bio that I wrote about Ernesto, but I did not write this. His path took several unexpected turns, including a stint in federal prison for which he humorously refers to as a re-education trip.

After his release, he pursued a broadcast journalism more seriously, eventually creating the Ernesto Durango show, which by the way, was the best four and a half minutes on in radio. The show gained popularity on the now defunct accent radio network. That is true. Where did he get that?

That wasn't in the bio and continues to be a favorite for its brief and humorous segments. Now dubbed the best four and a half minutes of your day. Michael Kros often steps in as guest host, adding to the show's charm and continuity. The episodes cover a wide variety of topics from technology, productivity, personal anecdotes, and social observations.

Wow. Isn't that, isn't it? And it says for more information or to listen to episodes, go to Apple podcasts or pod bay. Let's go to pod bay and see if there's episodes still out there.

There are. You can go to pod bay.fm, the Ernesto Durango show. And there are, the last one is from like September 10th, 2014 because that is when it was on radio. But they, my producers put it all, they, they turned it into a podcast.

Wow. That's amazing that that is on here. I wonder, I, I, this is so cool. This is, this is so unbelievably cool.

Anyway, there it is. So that's, that's what's new. By the way, I'm getting way ahead of myself and I'm going way over time now. But besides them popping up with all of this new technology, as far as AI is concerned, Google had a giant announcement that went on like it seemed for days, but it was like a five hour announcement talking about all their new AI stuff, most of which they said is coming very soon.

And the thing about Google is Google says, oh, we're going to make this. And then they never do, but they do have a bunch of stuff that's out there now. So it is, it is available and it is cool. So I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Last weekend, I was going to do a Saturday show and I didn't. I'm going to do a Saturday show tomorrow. Maybe, maybe, especially, you know, if I stay in such a mood as I am right now, if I drank, I would drink right now. Okay.

If I drank, I would actually drink right now. That's what I would do. All right. It's been a fun week.

It's getting hot out there. So take off all your clothes. I don't know. See you next time.
