New Album From Telephone [June 2, 2007 Episode]

On tonight's show we're featuring the sugar-coated new wave and synth-rock of Portland, Oregon based Telephone. The group was formed by Eric Hedford, ex-drummer from the Dandy Warhols. In this group he takes care of vocals and keys. Other members have included Scott Fox (Satan’s Pilgrims, Crackerbash), Steve Birch (Sprinkler), Paul Pulvirenti, Chet Lyster (Eels), John Averill (March Fourth), Rich Landar (The Bus Boys), Ryan Moore, Dano Capristo, and Micheal Piretti. The group released an EP in 2003, entitled (We Are) Telephone, and are back this year with a full-length album: Automatic.
