New Bill to Cripple Tax Exempt Churches

from The Zach Drew Show · host Zach Drew

A new bill is making the rounds in congress, and there is a good chance that it will pass. It’s called the Respect for Marriage Act, and it is not as rosy as it sounds. The bill is designed to codify Obergefell v. Hodges, the Supreme Court ruling that states the fundamental right to marriage is guaranteed to same-sex couples. The bill goes beyond that, though, and may threaten to cripple religious institutions. If this bill passes, religious organizations may be forced to reject their biblical stance on the God ordained institution of marriage, or else face ruinous litigation and the revocation of their tax exempt status. ********** If you would like to donate, just follow this link: https://www.zachdrewshow.com/donate/ and hit the bright orange “Donate” button!
