New Book tells journey of modern Hebrew

The Hebrew language wasn’t just the effort of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda alone, but rather a widespread effort to revive the holy language beginning in the mid-19th century. Dr. Merav Reuveni, an historian from Bar Ilan University, has written a new book called “Hebrew: From Symbol to Reality,” which brings a strikingly fresh perspective on how the Hebrew language was revived.
