Boise State remains in the 2025 Top 25 due to its MWC title, strong defense, and returning talent — despite losing Ashton Jeanty. Conference title games may lose importance, especially in the SEC and Big Ten where multiple teams will likely qualify regardless. Athlon’s Top 10 includes Texas, Penn State, Ohio State, and Georgia; UNLV not yet ranked but positioned as a rising G5 threat.
