New Coaches New Rivals Premier League Kickoff | Chelsea F.C. News

Fulham and Chelsea kick off the 2026-27 Premier League season with brand-new head coaches—Álvaro Arbeloa and Xabi Alonso—facing off for the first time as rivals after playing together at Liverpool and Real Madrid. Both clubs, dead even last season, are rebuilding: Fulham brings in Real Madrid stars like García and Palacios, while Alonso splashes record-breaking cash on players like Morgan Rogers. Key absences include Fulham’s captain Tom Cairney and suspended Joachim Andersen, while Chelsea’s Wesley Fofana sits out but World Cup stars like Reece James and Enzo Fernández return. Pre-seasons have been mixed—Fulham showing promise but defensive gaps, Chelsea inconsistent but full of firepower. This opener promises drama, new tactics, and a clash of fresh philosophies under the Premier League spotlight. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
