New Cruise Options Across North America
from Cruise News
Philadelphia has opened a $60 million cruise terminal on the Delaware River, backed by a berthing agreement that keeps Norwegian Cruise Line sailing from the region through March 2033 with a minimum of 41 departures a year. Carnival Cruise Line opened sales on 144 Long Beach departures for 2028-29, with Carnival Radiance and Carnival Panorama running three- to eight-day Baja California and Mexican Riviera itineraries from May 2028 through April 2029. And Holland America Line added Nootka Sound to select 2028 Alaska sailings, part of a six-ship season built around its Great Alaska Explorer and Great Bear Rainforest routes. Today's episode looks at how cruise lines are reshaping North American departures and itineraries, from new homeports to expanded West Coast and Alaska options.
