Minneapolis’ West Bank neighborhood, also known as Cedar-Riverside, was once a hub for a thriving music scene. Beginning in the 1960s, folk, blues, rock and international musicians were drawn to the area, helping shape its cultural identity.A new documentary explores that musical history. Kevin Dragseth is the director of the Twin Cities PBS film, “Wild West Bank Sound.” He joined MPR News host Nina Moini to talk about the project.
