New Funding Brings Faster Internet To Sullivan County

High speed internet is a benefit that some Sullivan County residents do not have access to. With new funding from the ConnectALL Municipal Infrastructure Grant Program, that could soon change.In a recent news release, Governor Kathy Hochul, Majority Leader Charles Schumer and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced funding to support new broadband infrastructure. This initiative focuses on internet affordability and accessibility across upstate New York. In Sullivan County, Archtop Fiber and Hudson Valley Wireless will be providing service. Radio Catskill’s Nia Watson spoke with Archtop Fiber’s Chief Development Officer Shawn Beqaj to learn more.
