New George Mason coach Frank Beasley breaks down his journey to Fairfax - ST359

from Short Time Wrestling Podcast · host Jason Bryant, Mat Talk Podcast Network

Episode 359 of the Short Time Wrestling Podcast talks with the new head wrestling coach at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, Frank Beasley. An Illinois native, Beasley started his college wrestling career in junior college before heading to Bloomsburg. After an injury-shortened career at the Division I level, Beasley's coaching prowess started to develop and after a stint at his alma mater and Buffalo, he connected with then-Binghamton head coach Pat Popolizio. At Binghamton and then NC State, where Beasley followed Popolizio, he blossomed as a coach and recruiter. We'll talk with Beasley about the travels, choosing a junior college first, being completely transparent with his significant other and of course, his life in Raleigh prior to moving to Northern Virginia.
