After spending the last seven years on the sidelines as an assistant coach at Chattanooga and Old Dominion, Jon Sioredas is now a Division I head wrestling coach. On August 22, Grand Canyon University announced Sioredas would become the second head wrestling coach in school history and he'll be leading the Lopes into a new era as they prepare for Division I competition.Grand Canyon is entering the second year of a four-year provisional period as the school moves from Division II to Division I. The school already has notable head coaches as NBA All-Star Dan Majerle heads up the men's basketball team and former major leaguer Andy Stankiewicz leading the baseball program.On Episode 94 of the Short Time Wrestling Podcast, we talk with Jon Sioredas about some of these topics and more:Let's talk about this.
