Good evening. New Hampshire. I'm DJ Huzz. Talk about a weather mood swing. You stepped out into 21 degrees-degree cold this morning, didn't you? Well, hold on. By tomorrow afternoon, we're flirting with 50 degrees. That's a 45-degree temperature jump in less than 36 hours. In the next 24 hours. But first, we've to get through tonight. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 4 A.M. Wednesday. Snow is already falling and it cranks up this evening. Southern New Hampshire sees the action from 7 P.M. Through 1 A.M., peaking around 9 P.M. You're looking at 1 to 3 inches there, with some freezing rain mixing in after midnight. Head north into Central New Hampshire and you'll see similar totals. The White Mountains get the best of it. 2 to 4 inches of fresh powder before things taper off around 2 A.M. Lows tonight hover in the mid-20s. Then the payoff arrives. Wednesday dawns sunny and beautiful. Highs surge to 48 to 50 degrees. That's a solid 21 degrees above normal for early March. Wednesday night clears out and cools back down to around 22 degrees. Here's your heads-up for the week ahead. We're watching a wintry mix for Thursday night into Friday. Freezing rain could make for a slick Friday morning commute. Then the pattern flips. Weekend highs climb into the mid-50s with rain likely Saturday. By Monday and Tuesday, we're flirting with 60 degrees. Spring is definitely knocking on the door.
