NEW LIFE

Suicide is not a light topic to talk about, but it is definitely a topic that shouldn't be overlooked in the christian community. People struggle and our natural response is to turn to darkness for help. WE , as BELIEVERS, have to allow our light to shine and show them that there is LIVING HOPE instead of viewing them as outcasts. People who battle with suicidal thoughts SHOULDN'T be judged/ condemn or preached at. THEY SHOULD BE LOVED. 'Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.' I Corinthians 13:4-7 People who battle with suicidal thoughts are human beings and should be treated as such. People who cut themselves are human beings and should be treated as such. We shouldn't isolate ourselves from them but rather push into them. Add a little brightness to the darkness they are struggling in 'The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. ' John 1:5. These, people who are cutting are JUST LIKE YOU AND ME. Life sometimes get a bit hard to handle and we choose our next step from our pain. EG: feeling unloved and because that feeling hurts and causes you pain, you choose from that pain to hurt yourself. NEVER PICK FROM YOUR PAIN - YOU WE ALWAYS CHOOSE WRONG.
