from New Life LIVE · host New Life Ministries

Caller Questions & Discussion: Becky shares how the apostle Paul wrote Philippians while imprisoned, reminding believers to focus on God even in difficult circumstances. In Philippians 4:8, Paul writes, “Fix your thoughts on what is true…” Becky asks listeners an important question: What is imprisoning you? We went to visit my daughter’s new baby and tried to respect their strict boundaries. For example, when I kissed my grandchild, they asked me not to do that. How do I talk to my husband about the distractions in his life, including pornography, that keep him from facing difficult issues? He needs to find a different job, but he spends his time watching TV and viewing porn. My husband and I have been married for 50 years and have seen 10 counselors over the years, but nothing has helped. He has had a successful career as a photographer and insists on posting photos on social media. I’ve told him that people should sign release forms, but he refuses. What should I do? I’ve been married for 17 years and am visually impaired, and my wife is blind.  She recently developed serious medical issues, and I had to place her in a care facility. How do I navigate this season? It’s difficult, and I miss her deeply.
