My mom passed away from alcoholism, and my dad continues to struggle with alcoholism. He’s frustrated with me because I’ve been at a dead-end job for 10 years, and he has had to help support me in the past. Should I stop trying to reach my ideal career and pursue a career that is closer to what I’m doing now, like nursing? My 14-year-old autistic grandson is struggling to fit in.
