The Four Qualities which a group must develop in unison prior to Initiation New Moon in October The idea of groups and their formation is one of the predominant trends today, and a major characteristics of our times. Everywhere groups are emerging in response to every possible challenge and problem facing humanity. In this is much hope engendered. On the other hand, there are groups forming whose goals also appear to be destructive. The underlying duality of existence makes this situation perhaps inevitable. Of particular interest are those groups that are comprised of those whose imagination is at least partly guided by the Ageless Wisdom teachings and whose foundation and inspiration derive from the teachings provided by “The Seven Laws of the Soul or Group Life” found in Esoteric Psychology, Vol. II and “The Fourteen Rules of Group Initiation” found in The Rays and the Initiations. These latter groups are seeking to respond to new energies that are becoming increasingly available. We shall review the Four Qualities which these emerging groups must develop in unison in order successfully “To toil in Pisces, illumined by Taurus and respond in measure to the Aquarian influence or Energies”. Questions for reflection and discussion: How would you define or explain the idea of group consciousness to a new and enquiring student? How has your understanding of an esoteric group and group consciousness evolved through your reflections on esoteric work?
