Roy Cooper on Tuesday signed an executive order meant to reduce violence and firearm misuse.The State Office of Violence Prevention will coordinate efforts across various state agencies and local leaders."It requires an all-hands-on-deck approach," Cooper said. The family claims the child was sexually assaulted, filed a report with CMS, but ultimately ended up back on the same bus as her alleged attacker. During public comments, the parent of the 5-year-old targeted the district and CMS board members."I am here today to specifically and to purposefully ask for the resignation of Dr. Hill and or the termination," Andrea Higgins, the CMS parent, said.
