New Orleans Saints AREN’T CLOSE, Nor Competitive In Tyler Shough’s Debut Against Los Angeles Rams

The New Orleans Saints were embarrassed by the Los Angeles Rams in Tyler Shough's debut. The game proved that the Saints aren't nearly as close as they've said and a talent-deficient roster limits the team's ceiling under its new leadership. The team is in search of solutions over finger pointing, but those solutions likely won't be actionable during the 2025 NFL Season.Shough's debut was overshadowed by another disappointing loss. But his arm talent and ability on the move were among the traits that most caught eyes and shed some positive lights. Whether it's Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, Alontae Taylor or otherwise, the Saints should be seriously considering trades ahead of the deadline.
