New Orleans Showcases Global Impact During Sail 250 and Culinary Events

New Orleans wrapped up a successful Sail250 event as thousands visited the city's waterfront to tour tall ships from around the world. Kelly Schultz with New Orleans & Company said the event highlighted not only New Orleans' culture and tourism appeal, but also its critical role in global trade through the Port of New Orleans. The city also earned major culinary recognition during North America's 50 Best Restaurants awards, with Dakar NOLA, Emeril's, and Acamaya making the prestigious list. Looking ahead, New Orleans Restaurant Week begins June 8, followed by the internationally known Gumball 3000 rally later this month.
