New Report Shows Shannon Is Ireland's Fastest Growing Airport

Shannon Airport was Ireland's fastest growing Airport in June. The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation's monthly Tourism Industry Dashboard report found passenger numbers increased by 14% at the Clare base in comparison to June 2025. By comparison, passenger numbers at Dublin Airport increased by 2% in June, while Cork Airport saw a 3% reduction in traffic in the same month. Chair of the Shannon Airport Oireachtas Group, Cathal Crowe, says the figures are far better than anyone expected earlier this year.
