God Alone is My RefugeFear NotWhat not a better time than now to introduce a new series, and what not a better title than Fear Not?As Christians we have the privilege of being a light into the world, bringing peace into any and every situation we encounter. With so much opportunity for fear and panic at our doorstep right now, there is also the opportunity to calm many storms. Whether it is in your workplace, your grocery store, or under your own roof, you carry God’s peace within yourself just waiting to be released.Jesus demonstrated how we are to face all storms - from a posture of rest. There is a quote by Bill Johnson which we quite enjoy, and is so appropriate for this current season:“You have authority over any storm you can sleep in.” - Bill JohnsonWhen life is uncertain, we can be sure that God is with us and He is for us. He is the God who never changes; the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. - Psalm 91:1-4 (NLT) What does it look like to live under the shadow of His wings?Is there anything hindering you from entering this place of rest?
