Beth is Professor of Professional Practice, Program Director of the MS in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program, Vice-Chair of Faculty at School of Professional Studies, Chair of Advanced Consortium for Cooperation, Conflict and Complexity (AC4) and Director of the Youth, Peace and Security Project all at Columbia University. She also serves on several Boards including the CMM Institute for Personal and Social Evolution. She is the author of New Story New Power: A Woman's Guide to Negotiation.Abbie and Beth continue their conversation about internalized stories, agency, and discomfort. Beth talks about practicing negotiation by starting small and shares stories from her experiences studying art in Japan.
