New Supercars Tyres and McLaren’s Medium Rare Motorhome

The Pitlane Punters are back to dissect the week that was in a motorsport world that never rests. Supercars are going back to the future and testing a new tyre that could be the sole dry-weather compound for the 2025 season. There is also plenty of news in the Super2 Series, as Jett Johnson announced he will step aside at Townsville to focus on his mental health. Max Verstappen won the Spanish Grand Prix, whilst McLaren’s hot form continued off-track with a scary motorhome fire in the paddock. There was plenty going on in the USA too, with a historic wet oval race in the NASCAR Cup Series and change on the horizon in IndyCar.
